00:00All right, we are trying to help out the very confident Tim this morning on the Second Date Update.
00:04Yes, so apparently he took Elizabeth to OnSwan after they met online.
00:10Where's that located?
00:11It's OnSwan.
00:12Okay, gotcha.
00:15How convenient.
00:17Oh, beautiful.
00:18He said they had a great dinner.
00:20It sounded like they were both kind of really into each other from him.
00:24And then I guess they went back to his place.
00:27And he said he had a pretty nice place.
00:29So they checked that out.
00:30I'm sure she was liking that.
00:31And then he said he took her home and everything was fine, he thought.
00:34But now she's not texting him back and he wants to take her out again.
00:37So it's time to call her and see if we can get her on the phone.
00:39Let's do it.
00:39Here we go.
00:56Hello?
00:56Hi, good morning.
00:57Is this Elizabeth?
00:59Uh, yeah.
01:00Elizabeth, this is J.R., Lana, and Kevin over here at 99.5QIK.
01:05How you doing?
01:07I'm good, thanks.
01:09Well, you seem nice and chipper.
01:11Yeah.
01:11For getting a random phone call from us.
01:14All right.
01:15I mean, what's going on?
01:16Okay.
01:17Have you heard our show before?
01:19Uh, yeah, sometimes.
01:20Have you ever heard us do something called a Second Date Update?
01:23Oh, yeah, I think so.
01:26Okay.
01:26Well, that's what we're doing right now.
01:28And we want to talk to you about a date you went on with this guy, Tim.
01:32Do you remember Tim?
01:34Oh, okay, yeah.
01:36Okay.
01:36Tim told us about your guys' date at OnSwan.
01:39He told us that, uh, afterwards, you actually ended up going back to his house and hanging
01:43out.
01:44I guess he had a couple friends over.
01:46And he said that it was a good time, and you seemed to get along with everybody.
01:50And then he took you home, gave you a hug, gave you a kiss on the cheek.
01:54But that's where things ended, as far as your communication goes, because he hasn't heard
01:56from you since.
01:57And we're seeing if we can maybe set you guys up on another date.
02:02Um, I think to say a couple people were at his house is under-selling it.
02:08There were way too many people there.
02:10Oh, was he having a party?
02:11Well, I, I, he said he had a few people over, and I, I, I was still interested in hanging
02:17out.
02:17But there were, like, definitely more than a dozen there.
02:20And I don't think he even knew everybody who was there.
02:22So it kind of made me uncomfortable, because I'm going out with this guy who's, like, almost
02:2640, and I feel like he's still living like a frack guy.
02:30And that's just not at all what I'm looking for.
02:32And I thought I was being polite about it, but I, I was trying to deter him from having
02:38another go with me, because that's just not what I was looking for.
02:41So you basically walked into, what, like a frat party?
02:45That's what it felt like to me.
02:46I mean, people were in the pool, people were drinking, the football game was on, and there
02:51were, there were, there were girls there, and I couldn't tell if they were truly significant
02:55others.
02:56I, I don't know, I kind of felt like another escapade of, like, this group of guys.
03:00Wow.
03:00But what did he say to you when you, when you, you guys walked into that?
03:04Well, it seemed like it, this was like every day to him, and I was like, I was like,
03:08oh, you know, you have a lot of people here.
03:10And he was like, yeah, I mean, people are coming and going all the time.
03:13And it just, I don't know, that feels a little immature to me.
03:16And so I, that's just not how I roll.
03:18I like to know who I'm going to be with.
03:22And I, maybe I like a little bit of alone time.
03:24I don't want everybody in my place all the time.
03:26Okay.
03:28That's interesting that he would take you back there if he had a ton of people at his
03:31house.
03:32That's interesting to me.
03:33Well, here's the deal.
03:34We actually have Tim on the phone with us as well.
03:38And I want to just get his take on things, Elizabeth.
03:41Tim.
03:42Yes.
03:43Does that sound like an accurate depiction of your house when you went over?
03:46Like I said, you know, I have a nice house.
03:51People have the code to get into the side, to go around into the lanai.
03:54And, uh, and, you know, I have friends.
03:58I didn't know that was a crime.
03:59I mean, my house is clean and neat.
04:01Like there's no issues.
04:02Everybody's adult.
04:03And she said I was almost 40, which is accurately correct.
04:07I didn't know I can't have a life.
04:09I don't know.
04:10It just, it still feels immature to me and feels like a college student to me.
04:13We were all athletes at one time and we're all still close and we like to hang out.
04:18Like, you know, like the Bruce Springsteen song, like glory days, like stuff like that.
04:22Like we hang out.
04:22I don't know.
04:26I mean, that's normal to me.
04:27I don't, I'm not sure.
04:28I don't know what quite, there's a problem with that.
04:31I don't really see one.
04:32I don't know.
04:33It just doesn't seem like a super conducive environment for starting a relationship if
04:38you're really serious.
04:40Well, I guess a second date is out of the question.
04:42I mean, I thought I was, I thought I was pretty polite about, I don't know.
04:46I just didn't, I just didn't want that kind of vibe.
04:48You didn't, I mean, you just, you know, when we spoke, you said, yeah, well, let's try to
04:52do something again.
04:53Like you didn't say, oh my God, your friends are idiots and this is a crazy frat house.
04:57Yeah.
04:57Well, I don't think your friends are idiots.
04:58I think, I think, I think you have the vibe that you want.
05:01It's just not what I wanted.
05:02Okay.
05:03Perfect.
05:04That's, that's, that's your, uh, that's your deal.
05:07I'll respect that.
05:08You don't get tired of people in and out of your house all the time.
05:11I don't, nobody goes in like my, I have a wing.
05:14Nobody goes up there.
05:16Wing.
05:17Oh my.
05:18I mean.
05:19I have like a, you know, like a master suite and then I have like a, like a sitting area.
05:23Like I have my own area.
05:24It gets crazy, but I don't care.
05:26They're my friends.
05:27So it's just like a revolving party all the time.
05:30I don't know.
05:31I guess kind of, sort of.
05:32I mean, we're not, I mean, I don't wake up in the morning and people are, you know,
05:35dead in my pool or drunk on my lounge chairs.
05:37They go home.
05:38So, I mean, we're older.
05:39We're not 18.
05:41Okay.
05:42All right.
05:42Well, it sounds like it's just not going to be for Elizabeth, Tim, as you heard.
05:45No, she needs peace and wants to tiptoe through the tulips or something.
05:49So, okay.
05:50All right.
05:51Elizabeth, thanks for coming on today.
05:53I appreciate you.
05:54All right.
05:55And Tim, now you know what's going on and I hope you have a great party.
06:00I will.
06:00You guys are welcome anytime.
06:01All right.
06:02Thanks, man.
06:03That sounds like fun.
06:04Appreciate it.
06:04All right.
06:04You guys have a great day.
06:06All right.
06:07All right.
06:08Take care.
06:09All right, Lana.
06:10So, the question is, would that bother you as a woman?
06:13I would not want to date somebody who has the house, right?
06:17That everybody parties at.
06:18What if you're tired?
06:19What if you don't want to talk to anybody?
06:21What if you want to walk around naked?
06:23I mean, you can't because there's constantly people at your house.
06:26No, I wouldn't like that.
06:27You need your space sometimes.
06:30All right.
06:30Would this have been a deal breaker for you?
06:32Would you be cool with this?
06:33Would this be a problem for you?
