00:00Three stories we are watching right now. Pope Francis laid to rest this morning.
00:04Presidents and princes among the hundreds of thousands packing St. Peter's Square.
00:09The service bringing President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky together for the first time since their tense Oval Office meeting nearly two months ago.
00:17They sat face to face in St. Peter's Basilica for what the White House calls a very productive talk.
00:23And a Wisconsin judge facing federal charges of obstructing justice, accused of helping an illegal immigrant evade arrest by ICE.
00:34This is a former New Mexico judge faces charges for allegedly harboring an illegal immigrant gang member in his home.
00:42Good afternoon. I'm John Scott. And this is the Fox Report.
00:53While President Trump manages peace deals abroad, his Department of Justice is defending its crackdown on the immigration interference here at home.
01:02Attorney General Pam Bondi making it clear no one is above the law.
01:07Wisconsin Congressman Brian Stile is here to react.
01:11But first, Fox News team coverage on our top story.
01:14Caroline Elliott on the arrests of those judges.
01:17But we begin with Madeline Rivera live at the White House.
01:20Madeline. Good afternoon, John.
01:23This is a major escalation of the Trump administration's immigration efforts.
01:27It's also the latest flashpoint between them and the courts.
01:32We're having a very hard time with judges because they don't want people to be moved out of the country.
01:42Shockingly, nobody's ever had this before. No other president.
01:44The president has been critical of the judiciary, with several federal judges handing the administration a number of setbacks on voting, immigration and DEI this week alone.
01:57Democrats, though, say the arrests of these two judges this week is merely showboating.
02:01They're just trying to have this show of force.
02:05And in the process of doing this in a courthouse where people need to go for court proceedings, they're scaring people away from participating in the process.
02:11As the president makes his way back to the U.S., some remarkable photos came out of Italy this morning with President Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky meeting at St. Peter's Basilica before Pope Francis' funeral.
02:24The talks were significant, given the last time the two met in person was at the Oval Office in February, which ended in that infamous spat.
02:32The initial assessment from Ukraine and the U.S. is that these most recent talks were productive.
02:37But in a true social post, the president questions Russian President Vladimir Putin's commitment to end the war after Russia's attacks on civilian areas.
02:45In this post, he once again blames former President Obama for Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014.
02:51The president appears ready to hand the Kremlin a major concession as part of a potential peace settlement, saying Crimea is staying with Russia.
03:00I want to say 5,000 young men, they happen to be mostly Ukrainian, Russian, 5,000 young Ukrainian and Russian men.
03:10And that's that's a big honor.
03:13The president now floating tougher sanctions on Russia if Putin does not want to end the war.
03:18John.
03:18All right.
03:19Madeleine Rivera at the White House for us today.
03:21Madeleine, thank you.
03:22You got it.
03:25Protests are underway today in Milwaukee after the FBI arrested a judge yesterday.
03:31She is accused of helping an illegal immigrant evade ICE agents as he appeared before her in court.
03:38And she's not the only judge or former judge in hot water over immigration enforcement.
03:43Caroline Elliott is live in Chicago with more on these stories.
03:46Caroline.
03:47Hi, John.
03:49In the last two days, federal authorities have arrested two indifferent judges, both now facing charges related to obstruction.
03:57Here in the Midwest, we're already seeing that pushback from activists and Democrats across the state.
04:03And on Friday, protesters gathered outside the federal courthouse in downtown Milwaukee shortly after Judge Hannah Dugan's arrest.
04:12Investigators say she helped an undocumented migrant evade ICE agents inside the courthouse.
04:18The criminal complaint says the judge took Eduardo Flores Ruiz through a jury door, bypassing the public area where agents were waiting to arrest him.
04:29Ruiz then made it outside and ICE agents had to chase him down the street.
04:34He could not believe, actually, that a judge really did that.
04:40They're deranged is all I can think of.
04:42I cannot believe.
04:43I think some of these judges think they are beyond and above the law, and they are not.
04:49In New Mexico, former Judge Joel Cano appeared in federal court yesterday.
04:54He's accused of tampering with evidence while being investigated for harboring an illegal migrant.
04:59Cano resigned last month after federal agents raided his home and took into custody an alleged member of Trende Aragua and two other Venezuelan men who had been staying on his property.
05:12Cano denied knowledge of any gang connection.
05:15And in a letter to the New Mexico Judicial Standards Commission, Cano says that he cannot help but feel that the capture of these boys is just another unfortunate addition to the current nationwide effort
05:28to apprehend, detain, and deport anyone not born in the U.S.
05:33Meantime, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi says both of these arrests should go to show that no one is above the law.
05:39John.
05:40All right, Caroline Elliott.
05:41Caroline, thank you.
05:44Let's bring in Wisconsin Congressman Brian Stile.
05:47Parts of his district are just south of Milwaukee, where Judge Dugan presides.
05:51So she is under arrest, charged with, you know, obstructing federal agents, among other things.
05:59What do you think was going through her mind here, Congressman?
06:04Destruction of federal agents is a crime, and it doesn't matter if you're the defendant, the witness, or a sitting judge.
06:09When you read the criminal complaint, it reads like a textbook case of obstruction that she allowed this defendant to go through non-public areas of the courthouse to get into the streets.
06:19And the reason this is so important is because it puts the lives of the men and women of law enforcement who are there to effectuate the arrest at risk.
06:27The reason the arrest was being made at the county courthouse, most likely, is because it would be known that the defendant would be unarmed, having already gone through security.
06:36Allowing the defendant to get loose onto the street, allowing a foot chase to take place, puts the lives of officers at risk.
06:42And this criminal complaint makes it very clear. A large number of witnesses, it reads like a casebook, case of obstruction.
06:49She deserves her day in court to explain her side of the story, but she does not deserve special treatment.
06:55Supporters are saying, you know, that this is a sort of a revenge case by the Trump administration.
07:01How would you answer that?
07:03I would recommend anyone read the criminal complaints.
07:06It's actually very short. It's about 13 pages, and it reads like a textbook case of obstruction.
07:11And what we can't have is individuals obstructing the work of ICE.
07:15This follows just days after our Democratic governor in the state of Wisconsin, Governor Tony Evers, instructing state employees to not assist ICE.
07:23Now is the time that we need to be enforcing the law, making sure that we are closing and securing the border for the security of all American citizens.
07:30And when you see individuals obstructing federal officers, as this complaint lays out that Judge Dugan did in the city of Milwaukee, it should raise questions and concerns for all Americans.
07:41We must enforce the law, no special treatment for anyone.
07:44And by no means should anyone be allowed to obstruct federal officers effectuating arrest of an illegal immigrant.
07:50Yeah, of course, President, now President Trump, was famously arrested.
07:56A number of members of his administration, the Trump 43 administration, were arrested and charged with various crimes.
08:04How does that play out versus this district judge?
08:09Well, again, I'd recommend anyone to go read the 13-page federal criminal complaint against the judge.
08:15It lays very clearly exactly what took place.
08:18It sets forth a number of witnesses who observed this behavior.
08:21And again, at the end of the day, what we see is liberal politicians and liberal activists working to undermine President Trump's efforts to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.
08:30President Trump came in on an agenda that we're going to secure the border.
08:34We have seen dramatic progress starting day one of the President Trump's administration.
08:38But what we continue to see is elected politicians or radical liberals trying to undermine this.
08:45When you read the obstruction case, as set forward by the FBI and the DOJ in this case, it's very clear that obstruction is what played out at the Milwaukee County Courthouse.
08:56And again, what it really did is put the lives of our men and women of law enforcement, these federal agents, at risk.
09:01They were forced to conduct a foot chase of this individual through the streets of Milwaukee rather than being able to effectuate an arrest right there in the in the county courthouse when they knew that this individual would have been unarmed.
09:13Of course, enforcing the law is important, or so we hear from a number of elected officials.
09:19Listen.
09:19Well, you know, no one is above the law, but I think that the law is immutable in the case of the White House.
09:30Jurists ought to be able to have control of their courtroom and localities should not be pressured into executing and assisting ICE.
09:43And I think that's the bigger question.
09:46So that's your fellow fellow representative, when more, the Democrat from Wisconsin, who says, you know, judges ought to have some some leeway here.
09:58Well, Democratic Governor Tony Evers of the state of Wisconsin encouraged all state employees to not assist ICE.
10:04But this case will go a step further.
10:06This is a case of obstructing federal agents who are there to effectuate an arrest of an illegal immigrant with a duly authorized warrant.
10:13And so an obstruction charge is a serious charge.
10:16But again, obstruction is a crime, but it applies equally, whether or not that's the defendant or witness or the judge herself.
10:22And so this is about applying the law equally and making sure that we're enforcing the laws of the United States.
10:27I think some people went fast and loose with the rules following four years of disastrous border policies in the Biden administration.
10:34People thought that we should just simply look the other way when illegal aliens commit crimes in the United States of America.
10:41President Trump has come to come to office.
10:43And thank goodness, because he's turning the tide and saying we're not going to look the other way anymore.
10:47When an individual is in this country illegally, especially one that commits a serious crime, there's going to be consequences for that.
10:54And illegal immigrants who commit federal crimes or commit crimes in the United States who have deportation orders are going to be removed.
11:00And obstructing a federal officer in this case is a serious offense.
11:04She deserves her day in court, but she does not deserve special treatment.
11:07The administration made it clear from the get go that ICE was going to be working and maybe even working around federal courthouses.
11:15Here's part of the federal directive issued by the White House.
11:18It reads ICE officers or agents may conduct civil immigration enforcement actions in or near courthouses when they have credible information that leads them to believe the targeted alien is or will be present at a specific location and where such action is not precluded by laws imposed by the jurisdiction in which the civil immigration enforcement action will take place.
11:41So it's quite clear that the administration has intended to do this.
11:44But this particular judge is accused of hiding the guy, helping him sneak out the back door, basically.
11:52Well, during the Biden administration, they wanted to have safe spaces for illegal activity to can be conducted.
12:00And that's exactly what occurred during four years of the Biden administration.
12:03The federal agents under the Biden administration look the other way.
12:06If criminal activity or illegal immigrants were located in certain locations,
12:10the Trump administration, I think, rightly has come in and said, those days are done.
12:14What we're actually going to do is enforce the law.
12:16And we don't care where you're located.
12:18We are going to enforce the law.
12:20But this is a step further of what took place in the Wonky County Courthouse,
12:24where the judge is alleged to have engaged in obstruction of the federal agents themselves.
12:29It's already bad that we have jurisdictions across the country operating in sanctuary cities,
12:34refusing to assist ICE conducting their work.
12:37But this charge is a step further.
12:38This is an obstruction charge that claims that the judge led this defendant down a non-public hallway
12:43and allowed him to escape the county courthouse.
12:46That's a serious charge and one that I think we're going to actually see play out in court
12:49as this evidence is fully laid out.
12:52Congressman Brian Stile from Wisconsin, we appreciate your time today.
12:55The basic concept of the rule of law in our history has been the idea that no one is above the law.
13:09No one is above the law.
13:10No matter how rich, powerful, or politically connected you are,
13:15everyone must play by the same rules.
13:17No one's above the law.
13:20Democrats there on President Trump's court cases,
13:23saying exactly what the attorney general is saying now about those judges who've been arrested.
13:29Nobody is above the law.
13:31Let's bring in Brianna Lyman, elections correspondent for the Federalist.
13:35What timing?
13:36One judge in Wisconsin, one former judge in New Mexico,
13:40both arrested for trying to stand in the way of deportation proceedings.
13:45What's going on here, Brianna?
13:47Yeah, you know, remember, Donald Trump was arrested.
13:51Democrats threw Donald Trump's allies like Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon in jail.
13:54They arrested his accountant.
13:56I mean, they even arrested Donald Trump's valet driver.
13:58And yet suddenly for Democrats, two judges who allegedly violated longstanding federal law
14:04are off limits.
14:06The suggestion that judges enjoy some kind of de facto immunity
14:10really undermines their whole claim that nobody is above the law.
14:13And that montage you played is really funny because it just goes to show you
14:16the nobody is above the law stick was never about justice.
14:20It was about justifying Democrat-led lawfare.
14:23And the opposition that we are seeing right now to these two judges being arrested
14:27isn't rooted in some, you know, principle defense of judicial independence or due process.
14:31It is born out of the realization that the system Democrats weaponized for years against Republicans
14:37might just be applied to them with the same type of weight that it was replied to Republicans.
14:42Some are saying on the left that this is overreach on the part of the administration,
14:47that picking up these suspects in courthouses, for instance, where they are expected to appear,
14:53that that is somehow wrong.
14:55How do you answer that question?
14:57There is a deliberate effort right now by the left and their media allies to spin this.
15:03They're spinning it in the way that you just mentioned.
15:04They're also trying to make it seem as though these arrests are just retaliatory
15:08for simply opposing Donald Trump's deportation efforts.
15:12And the reason that they're doing that is they have to try and delegitimize
15:15the very popular mass deportation efforts that Donald Trump is carrying out
15:20and is continuing to promise to carry out.
15:22And they have to do that because Democrats benefit politically from mass immigration
15:27and specifically mass illegal immigration.
15:30Think of things like apportionment and the Electoral College, right?
15:32So they have to try and convince Americans or rather guilt Americans into ceding their moral obligation
15:39to reclaim their sovereignty by saying, look, if you support the arrest of judges
15:44who allegedly broke longstanding federal law, not a Trump policy, broke federal law,
15:49or if you support, for instance, deporting migrants who are allegedly gang members living in Maryland,
15:53that's akin to tyranny.
15:54They're trying to guilt Americans into relinquishing their right to sovereignty.
15:58I want to turn our attention to the Attorney General of the state of New York, Letitia James.
16:06Her office has hired Abby Lowell to represent her.
16:10She's charged with mortgage fraud.
16:13Abby Lowell was the guy who represented Hunter Biden in his gun case
16:18and some other things.
16:19What does it say that the New York Attorney General,
16:22one of those people who we, by the way, heard saying no one is above the law just now,
16:27she has hired Hunter Biden's former attorney?
16:31Yeah, it's really interesting because the last time that Abby Lowell defended
16:34a high-ranking New York politician was years ago.
16:38It was Joe Bruno, who is the Senate majority leader.
16:41And Joe Bruno actually got convicted on his charges when Abby Lowell was his attorney.
16:45And a court later overturned that conviction.
16:48Joe was retried.
16:50And he was later acquitted because he didn't have Abby Lowell on his team.
16:53So I think it either says that there is a serious lack of judgment on Letitia James' part in hiring him,
16:58or she believes that having, you know, a D.C. high-profile lawyer on her team is going to help in some capacity.
17:06I don't think that's necessarily true, but we'll see.
17:08This guy charges nearly $1,000 an hour for his time.
17:12And because he has been hired by the Attorney General's office in New York, not by her personally,
17:19presumably the taxpayers are going to be footing the bill, right?
17:24That would be me right here.
17:25I'll be footing that bill along with the rest of my fellow New Yorkers.
17:28And it's just funny because the things that Letitia James is accused of doing
17:32are the same thing she accused Donald Trump of doing.
17:35The only difference is that Letitia James was the one filling out applications saying,
17:38for instance, that she's married to her father, right?
17:41So I think it will be really hard to defend what we've seen so far, the evidence,
17:46defend the fact that allegedly she listed one of her primary residents in Virginia and not New York.
17:51But again, Abby Lowell is, you know, he's savvy with the media.
17:55He's politically well-known.
17:56So maybe she's hoping that is going to increase her chances in her defense.
18:00Well, no one is above the law.
18:02So we will just remember that as this case proceeds forward.
18:05Brianna Lyman from The Federalist.
18:07Thanks.
18:08Thanks, John.
18:11Murder suspect Luigi Mangione enters his plea to federal charges
18:17that could bring him the death penalty in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
18:23What this means for the case against him next.
18:28Get off it!
18:29Let's keep the law!
18:30Get off it!
18:31Get off it!
18:32Get off it!
18:33Get off it!
18:34Yeah, that was the scene last month when progressive demonstrators staged a protest
18:43at an event featuring New York Republican Congressman Mike Lawler.
18:47And they say they are planning to do it again tomorrow night.
18:51Fox News Digital got an inside look at the plans from one progressive group in Lawler's district
18:56discussing how many people will show up to try to disrupt his town hall tomorrow.
19:01We could potentially have thousands of people out front to set it on what he is going to
19:07potentially set in terms of lying about his record on the old cutting Medicaid or lying
19:12about the state of the power parts of women.
19:14So we want to get out of the fight for that.
19:18Democrats say they plan to spend lots of money to try to flip his seat in next year's elections.
19:23A spokesperson for Congressman Lawler called the planned protest deeply disappointing.
19:30Accused killer Luigi Mangione won't be back in court until December after pleading not guilty yesterday
19:36on federal charges for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
19:41If convicted, Mangione could face the death penalty.
19:45C.B. Cotton is live with the latest on this case.
19:49C.B.
19:50Hey, John.
19:50Yeah, Luigi Mangione did plead not guilty to this four-count federal indictment
19:55as several rows of supporters looked on inside the courtroom outside an equal show of support.
20:01I saw this crowd, John.
20:02I was there.
20:03Many telling me that they feel Mangione is a hero
20:06and they claim the real villain in this case is the health care industry.
20:11Some of them also told me they feel Mangione is being treated more harshly
20:15because the victim was a high-profile CEO.
20:18Listen.
20:19They don't put the same pressure on people who, say, have committed school shootings.
20:26I don't think they value the lives of children as much as they value the life of this one CEO.
20:32Federal prosecutors have officially filed notice that they intend to seek the death penalty
20:39at the direction of Attorney General Pam Bondi,
20:42who pushed for the maximum punishment if Mangione is convicted in the federal case.
20:47Yesterday, the judge gave Mangione's defense team a June 27th deadline
20:51to file their arguments against the capital punishment.
20:55Mangione's attorneys have argued the U.S. government is going beyond its authority,
21:00writing in a statement earlier this month, quote,
21:03their decision to execute Luigi is political
21:05and goes against the recommendation of the local federal prosecutors,
21:10the law and historical precedent.
21:12Criminal defense attorney Brian Claypool pushed back on that here on Fox
21:16and said the federal statute is really clear, John.
21:18He said it's clear that the death penalty can be pursued for anyone
21:22who was charged with murder through the use of a firearm, which Mangione is.
21:26He also shared his thoughts on what the defense strategy may be in this case.
21:32I think the only defense they're banking on here is sympathy,
21:36and they're going to try to get a couple of rogue jurors.
21:38Like you just heard somebody say, he didn't do it.
21:41But at the end of the day, you've got shell casings that match his gun
21:44and you've got, you know, you've got videotape as well.
21:47So at the end of yesterday's hearing, Mangione's attorney said prosecutors
21:52had inadvertently eavesdropped on one of Mangione's calls
21:56with his legal defense team from jail.
21:59The judge demanded a written explanation on that by this coming Friday.
22:03Mangione's next hearing in this federal case is not until December.
22:07As you mentioned, the judge said she hopes to set the trial date for sometime in 2026.
22:12John, I want to mention that the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson,
22:15he was a husband and a father of two.
22:18Back to you.
22:19CB Cotton, what a case.
22:21Thank you, CB.
22:23Well, disarray seems to be growing inside the Democrat Party
22:28as China pushes back on President Trump's tariffs.
22:31Details on those stories and more next.
22:33I'm John Scott, and this is the Fox Report.
22:35It's the bottom of the hour.
22:37If you're just joining us, here's a look at our top stories.
22:39The United States and Iran held a third round of nuclear talks today in Oman.
22:43A senior Trump administration official says the meeting was positive and productive.
22:47And the two sides will meet again soon.
22:50Iran's foreign minister says he is extremely cautious.
22:54Hamas says it's open to ending the war in Gaza and freeing all of the hostages if Israel agrees to a five-year truce.
23:03That's according to multiple media reports.
23:05Publicly, Hamas wants a one-year ceasefire and will not lay down its arms.
23:10The two sides held ceasefire talks today in Egypt.
23:14And in New Jersey, firefighters are getting closer to putting out that massive wildfire that has scorched nearly 24 square miles.
23:23It's about 60 percent contained.
23:25And FEMA approved recovery funds today.
23:28Prosecutors accuse a 19-year-old of starting that fire with an improperly extinguished bonfire.
23:34He is due back in court Tuesday.
23:42New and more liberal voices in the Democrat Party are trying to shout down the older leaders.
23:48Incumbents now facing primary challengers nearly half their age as the party faces an identity crisis.
23:54Senior congressional correspondent Chad Pergram has the latest from Capitol Hill.
24:00An ultimatum from the head of the Democratic National Committee, Ken Martin.
24:04No DNC officer should ever attempt to influence the outcome of a primary election, whether on behalf of an incumbent or a challenger.
24:12DNC Vice Chairman David Hogg aimed to spend millions of dollars in primary challenges against Democratic lawmakers.
24:19We want people to know that they're being watched.
24:21It's not to say it's out with the old and in with the new.
24:23I would say it's more accurate to say it's out with the ineffective and in with the effective.
24:27Democrats contend the neutrality pledge is about assuring party unity.
24:31The reforms that Chair Martin is rolling out is not a reaction to David Hogg.
24:36But Hogg is the elephant in the room to the party represented by a donkey.
24:42If you want to challenge in Cummins, you're more than free to do that, but just not as an officer of the DNC.
24:48And there's rage over age.
24:5180-year-old Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin, the latest veteran Democrat, to step down.
24:56I had to project forward.
24:58The campaign's going to last two years and then you're going to serve six years.
25:02So are you ready to make an eight-year commitment?
25:04Durbin's departure could intensify progressive pressure on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to quit too.
25:10But Schumer isn't having it.
25:12No conversation about when you might step aside.
25:15I'm focusing on the decision that the Republicans in Congress have to make to whether support Trump with these horrible economic policies or not.
25:27Age is just a number, but a number with consequences.
25:31Five House Democrats over the age of 65 have died recently.
25:35House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries says Democrats could have sidetracked President Trump's agenda had the older members lived.
25:42On Capitol Hill, Chad Pergrim, Fox News.
25:47They have to have the U.S. market.
25:50You've got over 80 countries now, and China being one of them, that are in talks, that are ready to make a deal.
25:58We need to call their hand and slap them to Pluto until they start abiding by fair trading rules.
26:08China will ultimately have no choice.
26:11China has been waging a trade.
26:13Until they start abiding by fair trading rules.
26:19China will ultimately have no choice.
26:21China has been waging a trade.
26:23New signs that China might be caving in to President Trump's trade war.
26:28Beijing is now pulling back its 125 percent tariffs on some U.S. goods.
26:34This, as President Trump claims he's spoken with Chinese President Xi many times.
26:39China denies it has had any talks with the White House.
26:43Let's bring in Gordon Chang.
26:45He is a senior fellow at the Gatestone Institute, author of Plan Red, China's project to destroy America.
26:52Gordon, first of all, why would China say that they haven't had any talks with the United States if, in fact, President Trump is telling the truth?
27:02I think it's because Xi Jinping has staked his legitimacy on having surpassed the U.S.
27:08And so it's very difficult for him to then say, oh, we're bowing to pressure from President Trump and we're going to talk about tariffs and other things.
27:17So I think he's boxed himself in.
27:19But in general, since he's become China's ruler in late 2012, he has made the hostile, made the political system hostile, where only the most belligerent answers are considered to be acceptable.
27:30So he is a very, very thin line, which he can walk right now.
27:36Well, President Trump may or may not have to answer the voters in four years.
27:41I mean, he's thrown out this balloon about very thin line, which he can walk right now.
27:46Well, President Trump may or may not have to answer the voters in four years.
27:51I mean, he's thrown out this balloon about running again.
27:53But most people, I think, believe he's a he's already a lame duck president.
27:58He has to, though, keep members of Congress happy, at least at the very least.
28:04Xi doesn't have to do that, does he?
28:06I mean, he is he is an iron fisted leader in China.
28:09So doesn't he have the ability to be, I don't know, more aggressive than President Trump?
28:16I think that he once did when he was accumulating power from everybody else.
28:20But right now he has near total accountability for what's gone wrong in China.
28:24And also there is a lot of infighting at the top of the Communist Party, especially in the Chinese military, where it seems that his actors are now in the midterms.
28:33But Xi Jinping has an election every day.
28:36And because there are no rules in that system, he can lose power at any day.
28:40So I suspect that every morning that he wakes up and he feels his fingers in his toes, I think he's pretty happy.
28:48So China is making allowances for some U.S. products to be imported without tariffs, right?
28:56Does that suggest that they are finding that it's not so easy to block U.S. products for some U.S. products to be imported without tariffs?
29:06Right. Does that suggest that they are finding that it's not so easy to block U.S. products?
29:14Oh, absolutely. And, you know, it's not just that they're reducing tariffs.
29:17You know, for instance, President Trump reduced tariffs on electronic goods coming in from China.
29:23What China has done, which we learned from both the Reuters and the Financial Times reporting yesterday, is that there are no tariffs on certain categories of U.S. goods.
29:32So, for instance, aviation parts, semiconductors, medical devices, medicines, industrial chemicals, things that China can't get elsewhere.
29:42And they're just coming into China tariff free.
29:46But the Chinese official statistics are that their economy grew five and a half percent in the first quarter of this year.
29:54It suggests that things are pretty rosy there.
29:58Yeah, five point four percent.
30:00But when we're seeing underlying indicators, John, so, for instance.
30:28I mean, it's없ing.
30:33It's not a big deal.
30:36I mean, it's not a big deal.
30:43So, let's take a look.
30:47I mean, it's not a big deal.
30:53I mean, it's not a big deal.
