00:00out of any plans to help the American people. Plus, racing a Super Bowl champion,
00:04the heartwarming moment for one member of the Trump family with Eagles running back
00:08Saquon Barkley. You are watching Fox and Friends First on this Tuesday morning. I'm Carla Shemkin.
00:13And I am Todd Pyro. Brooke Singman joins us now with more on Trump's first 100 days in the White
00:19House. Brooke. Good morning, guys. That's right. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant will join White
00:25House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt at today's early morning press briefing to kick
00:29off President Trump's 100th day back in office and what a busy 100 days it has been. So let's take
00:36a look at what the president has delivered so far. Inflation is down from 3 percent in January to 2.4
00:43percent last month. Border crossings are down from over 47,000 in Biden's last month in office
00:50to just over 7,000 in Trump's second month in office. And as promised, the White House has
00:55canceled $420 million in DEI contracts. The president also signed an executive order banning
01:03trans athletes from girls sports. And Doge has saved U.S. taxpayers an estimated $160 billion.
01:12Meanwhile, delivering on his campaign promises, the president has signed 142 executive orders so far.
01:19But his approval rating is sitting at just 44 percent, which is lower than former President
01:24Biden, Obama and Bush at the same point in their presidencies. But Interior Secretary Doug Burgum
01:31has an explanation for those numbers. Listen.
01:34The first 100 days right now when you have a president that's driving a dramatic and historic
01:39and positive change for the country, this is like asking a group of people, how'd you like the movie?
01:43And they've seen one 14th of it. I mean, his presidency is going to be over 1,400 days long
01:48or 100. The impact of auto tariffs, guys. One of the reasons potentially, Brooke, as you well know,
01:54that those polling numbers could be lower against Trump and not in Trump's favor is because
01:59apparently a lot of the polling was done with non-Trump voters. So we will see where we go from
02:05here. Maybe they can go 50-50 on future polls. Brooke, thank you. The founder of the Auto Workers for
02:10Trump, Brian Pannebecker, is going to join us later this hour to talk about how the president's tariff
02:15plans will have a positive impact on the American auto industry. Meantime, three minutes after the
02:20hour now, Republicans getting to work on President Trump's big, beautiful bill that will fund much of
02:25his America First agenda. But their new deadline is quickly approaching.
02:29Madeline Rivera is in Washington with all the details. Hey, Maddie.
02:32Good morning, Carly and Todd. The president has signed more than 100 executive orders in his first 100 days,
02:38as Brooke Sigmund mentioned. But Congress will have to greenlight a lot more of his priorities.
02:43And that's why Republicans will be busy these coming weeks trying to pass that one big, beautiful bill,
02:48which will enact his initiatives in border security, defense and taxes.
02:53Reconciliation is the first and foremost question on the president's mind right now. It's a huge deal.
02:59We have to get it done. He's working closely with Congress. Aside from reconciliation,
03:03which we hope and are very confident will include more funding for border wall construction and
03:08mass deportations, as I mentioned earlier. But it's also very important that we get tax cuts passed.
03:15House committees on armed services, homeland security and education are expected to have
03:20their markups of the bill today. The House Judiciary Committee will be zeroing in on immigration
03:24policy tomorrow. After meeting with Treasury Secretary Scott Besson on Monday, top GOP negotiators
03:30are now eyeing July 4th as a new deadline to get this bill passed.
03:35There's a lot on the line here. The tax relief that Republicans passed in 2017, which puts more
03:41money in Americans' pockets, is set to expire at the end of this year. And without congressional
03:48action in 2026, tax rates will increase. Republicans, Mr. President, do not intend to let that happen.
03:54And our final bill will not only extend the 2017 tax relief for hardworking Americans, it will make it
04:00permanent. The new date is different from the deadline House Speaker Mike Johnson had initially
04:05proposed. He wanted to have that package on the president's desk to sign by Memorial Day.
04:11But Johnson is hopeful that Republicans may be able to get things done ahead of schedule.
04:16I think they can work expeditiously to get it done. He says July 4th because that's a big,
04:21big birthday for us. And everybody knows that. But I think and I hope and believe that we can get
04:27them safe. Despite the optimism, Republicans will still have to work out some key disputes,
04:33especially over spending cuts and potential impacts to safety net programs like Medicaid.
04:38Carly and Todd. Madeline Rivera live for us in Washington. Maddie, thank you.
04:42You got it. On to a Fox News alert here. Four people are dead after a car crashed into an after
04:48school camp in Illinois. Police say all of the victims killed are between the ages of four and 18 years
04:54old. Three of them were struck outside the building and one was hit inside. Several others
04:59were hurt in the crash, but the driver was unharmed. Police are now investigating what caused this
05:05horrific crash and whether it was intentional. Just horrible. Police arresting a man suspected of
05:11setting a newly delivered cyber truck on fire at a Tesla dealership in Arizona. Officers responding
05:16early yesterday morning to reports of an explosion at the dealership before arriving to see smoke and
05:21flames. The suspect was spotted in a suspicious van nearby and identified by security video. He's
05:28also accused of vandalizing the side of the dealership. This is just the latest in a string
05:32of attacks on Tesla properties as activists target the brand to protest Elon Musk's involvement with the
05:39Trump administration. Well, Carly, the results are in. Liberals in Canada have retained political
05:44control, while President Trump still floats the idea of making Canada the 51st state.
05:49National security analyst Dr. Rebecca Grant weighs in on what's next for power after national
05:55elections yesterday, giving Mark Carney a full term as prime minister. And the new leader did not waste
06:00any time going after President Trump. President Trump is trying to break us so that America can own
06:08us. America wants our land, our resources, our water, our country. Never.
06:19National security and military analyst Dr. Rebecca Grant joins me now is pretty bellicose. They're coming
06:24from the new leader of Canada. But the president telling the Atlantic, our president, that is, I say it would
06:30make a great 51st state. I love other nations. I love Canada. You know, they do 95% of their business
06:37with us. Remember, if they're a state, there's no tariffs. So, Dr. Grant, where do we go from here?
06:43How should Donald Trump navigate this result?
06:47Well, Canada has elected a very strong leader. And the key is there in President Trump's remarks,
06:5395% of Canada's businesses with the United States. So I'd expect some more fireworks from our northern
07:01neighbor, but ultimately getting back to a good, close relationship. And Prime Minister Mark Carney,
07:07who continues in that job, he's been in that job for about five minutes, you know, since March,
07:11but he's going to be a strong negotiator. Don't forget, really important national security
07:17relationship with Canada, too. Do we take on Canada as the 51st state? I mean,
07:23ultimately, at the end of the day? No. I'd love to have them. They're welcome. You know,
07:30Americans have been after Canada since the War of 1812 or earlier, right? But I think what we see here
07:35really is just powerful negotiating positions from both leaders. Mark Carney is a very experienced banker,
07:43was governor of the Bank of England. He's a financier. He moves in that same world that
07:48Donald Trump knows so well. So these two are going to negotiate very hard. But in the end,
07:53Canada really wants to reach deals with the United States. He's used all that rhetoric,
07:59of course, to pull off this stunning election victory of the people thought the conservatives
08:04would win. But here is Carney in with the liberals. But I expect that the relationship will reset a
08:09little bit, but remain very, very strong. Hey, remember, King Charles of Great Britain would have
08:15to approve Canada coming into the US. I don't think he's going to do that. I think you're right.
08:19I had to ask the question. Of course, you well know that Vladimir Putin has announced a commemorative
08:24three day ceasefire with Ukraine next week, but still no permanent peace deal has been reached. Here's
08:29what both sides are saying. The Kremlin saying yesterday the Russian side reiterates its willingness
08:34to enter peace talks without preconditions, with a view to eliminating the root causes
08:38behind the Ukraine crisis and establishing constructive interaction with international
08:43partners. A lot of big words in there, not a lot said. Zelensky of Ukraine responding,
08:47writing Russia has consistently rejected everything and continues to manipulate the world,
08:52trying to deceive the United States. Now, yet again, another attempt at manipulation. Look,
08:57Dr. Grant, it seems like all we are doing right now is going around in circle after circle. And Donald
09:02Trump clearly is getting frustrated with all of this. So will we realistically see an end to this war
09:09anytime soon? I think we will. But when just depends on Vladimir Putin and he still has a taste for war.
09:19I believe he may do this ceasefire because it coincides with the end of World War Two. That's a really big
09:25moment for Vladimir Putin remembering that from 80 years ago. But hey, you know who's coming to Moscow
09:32to help celebrate that? Xi Jinping of China has been invited. And as long as China is willing to
09:39continue to back up Russia, buy their energy, help with with advanced microelectronics, then, you know,
09:46Putin still has this taste for war. It's going to depend on Trump finding behind the scenes enough economic
09:53concessions and deals for Russia to lure Putin into agreeing to a peaceful ceasefire.
10:00And to your point, that economic pressure also extends to our economic pressure on China,
10:05because if they don't have the capacity to buy more from Russia, that impacts Russia's capacity
10:10to wage war. It's all interconnected. It's all fascinating. Dr. Rebecca Grant always navigating
10:16us through it. We appreciate it. Thank you. Now to a Fox weather alert. More than 65
10:21million people from the south to the northeast are bracing for severe weather right now. A powerful
10:26storm moving east after pummeling the Midwest with large hail and dangerous tornadoes. And take a look
10:32at this. A twister caused a coal train to derail in Nebraska over the weekend. Thankfully, no one was
10:38hurt, but it caused quite the scene there. Senior meteorologist Janice Dean is here with our Fox weather
10:44forecast. Hey, JD. Hey, good morning. Let's take a look at it. So here are the storm reports. Thankfully,
10:49we didn't see the damage that could have happened last night across the upper Midwest. We did have a
10:54couple of tornadoes for just south of Minneapolis around the La Crosse area. And that potentially
11:01could cause some damage when the sun comes up. We will take a look at it. But you can see we've got
11:06strong winds and hail. We still have the potential for severe storms today, as mentioned from Texas all
11:12the way up towards the interior northeast. A couple of severe thunderstorm warnings for the panhandle
11:17of Texas in towards Oklahoma. And there's your risk today. It's going to be mainly strong winds,
11:23hail, heavy rainfall. We could see isolated tornadoes as well, stretching from Texas
11:28all the way up towards Syracuse, New York. Yep, along this cold front. And we could see the potential
11:34for those stronger storms, especially in the afternoon hours into the evening. And we'll continue
11:39to monitor it. But damaging winds, certainly the threat for the Ohio River Valley up towards the
11:44interior northeast. And we'll see some large hail for parts of Texas and Oklahoma throughout the day
11:49today. Flash flood risk is a three out of four here for Texas through Oklahoma City. And we could
11:55see several inches of rain in the next couple of days over saturated ground. And that's why we could
12:00see the potential for flooding. So yeah, this is something we're gonna have to watch over the next
12:05couple of days, kind of a stalled front. But the risk for severe storms will be throughout the day
12:10today in through the evening for millions of folks, again, from Texas all the way up towards
12:15upstate New York. So know what to do if you're going to get a watch or a warning here in New York
12:19City. It's going to be a fantastic day. A lot of people are applauding the forecast because we feel
12:24like spring is finally here. Do you think that was a request for us to applaud?
12:28We sure can. Why not? And you know, we have a live studio audience on Fox and Friends. So I expect
12:35a lot of applause today. It's going to be an exciting day. We have a lot of great guests
12:38coming up on Fox and Friends. So stick around. Janice. We'll see you soon. Yes. Thank you so much.
12:42Bye. One of President Trump's biggest successes in the first 100 days has been completely dismantling
12:47the crisis at our southern border. The illegal immigrant accused of snatching DHS Secretary
12:52Kristi Noem's purse at a restaurant on Easter Sunday was reportedly arrested in New York for a similar crime
12:59just a few weeks ago. That first victim telling the New York Post that the migrant swiped his fanny
13:08pack at a shop in Times Square and racked up twelve hundred dollars in credit card charges in just 20
13:13minutes. Police sources say he was arrested on fourth degree felony and grand larceny charges and then
13:20released and he never showed up to his court date. Noem's purse contained three thousand dollars in cash,
13:26her passport, wallet and government ID. The Secret Service has now filed federal criminal charges
13:32against the suspect. And President Trump making his immigration promise a focus leading into his
13:38first 100 days by signing three new executive orders yesterday in an attempt to crack down on
13:43sanctuary cities and bolster state and local law enforcement. This says the numbers at our southern
13:49border have reached an all-time low. National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez joins me now.
13:56Paul, good morning to you. Can you describe what the border looks like today compared to the highs
14:03during the Biden administration? Sure. From the time that President Trump took over he allowed us to
14:09actually do the job so our guys are out there every day whereas before we were behind a desk we were
14:15facilitating the release of all of the illegal aliens that Joe Biden let in under his previous
14:20administration unvetted, unchecked, and to the tune of millions. So our guys weren't on the line.
14:27We were processing, we were detaining, we were transporting, we were doing everything we shouldn't
14:31be doing and now our guys are out there on the line actually protecting the border. Yeah well the numbers
14:36are staggeringly low. Over the past 100 days since Donald Trump has been in office there have been just
14:41nine people who came to our southern border and were released into our country. Just nine. So who are
14:47those nine people that are getting released and who are the people that are getting turned away?
14:52So first of all that's amazing because under the Biden administration yeah we we probably released
14:57nine in nine seconds station-wide. So uh these are people that have genuine legit medical uh matters
15:05that that they can't be uh turned over to um either the Mexicans or other people that are that are
15:12they're they're taking them from their country. So these are people that we cannot for whatever reason
15:17maintain in our custody. So that's those are the only people that are being released uh you know it's
15:23sick yeah pregnant? No not even pregnancy because a pregnancy will hold you in custody until you're free
15:29to go and medically released and then we'll deport you which is exactly what we should have been doing because
15:34that was a magnet that was a magnet into this country. Yeah that's true and and President Trump
15:39also legally is trying to change birthright citizenship. On that front do you have any
15:43thoughts on that and what should be done there? So uh you know there's been a lot of abuse of the
15:48system. I mean we're a generous country and thousands and thousands of people have come into the United
15:54States just to get birthright citizenship when which they then try to use as an anchor. You've heard
16:00the term anchor baby and so that's something that he's trying to end because it's an abuse of the
16:05system. Okay so how are border patrol agents now dealing with the cartel threat and have cartels
16:11changed their strategy to try and get drugs and people into this country albeit very unsuccessfully
16:17because just nine have been admitted into the U.S. since over the first 100 days. Yeah they they've gotten
16:23a little bit more aggressive uh they've always been aggressive but what happened is under the Biden
16:29administration they controlled the border and now with all of our agents out there with the military
16:35out there you know we're actually able to better secure the military brings game-changing uh dynamics
16:41they've got technology that we don't have and until we get that technology and are proficient with it
16:46they're going to be there to help us out and actually control the access that the cartels had before
16:51so it's really good. Okay so the new news uh this morning is that President Trump signed three
16:55executive orders yesterday one on sanctuary cities another on bolstering a state and local law
17:01enforcement another one that i thought was interesting is that he wants to require uh truck drivers in
17:06this country to speak english and pass literacy tests to me all of this falls under the decentivize
17:14the decentivization category uh what does this say to you and and what are your thoughts especially
17:18on that driving one that i thought was pretty interesting it's a very it's safety and security first
17:24and so the driving one it makes sense oftentimes not only our agents but uh highway patrol officers
17:31throughout the country will encounter somebody that doesn't speak english and it makes it very
17:35difficult for them to actually conduct an interview or an investigation and so a lot of oftentimes they
17:42do speak english but they refuse to speak english because they don't want to cooperate in our interrogation
17:46or investigation so it's really good and i can imagine the morale of border patrol has drastically changed
17:52through the roof it's such a great it's such a great time to be a border patrol agent our applications
17:58are through the roof a lot of people want to do the job that we're finally able to do and we know
18:02that president trump supports border security so it's a really really good time to be a border
18:06patrol agent well you guys are hard workers keeping our country safe so we thank you so much and thank
18:10you so much for joining us thank you so much i appreciate it paul perez thank you so much todd over to you
18:15borders are tom holman carly will be on fox and friends to talk about the job the trump administration has
18:20done to tackle the border crisis you do not want to miss that meantime president trump telling the
18:26atlantic he is quote having a lot of fun just 100 days into his second term but the white house is
18:31already looking ahead to the next 100 days rnc senior advisor danielle alvarez joins me live in studio
18:40great to see you for the first time here in studio in the flesh danielle what should the american people
18:44expect out of the white house in the next 100 days well first of all what a great celebration of the
18:49first hundred days for president trump he really hit the ground running delivering for the american
18:54people and i think the next hundred days is going to be a similar sprint i can confirm that this white
18:58house is having a lot of fun all of my friends from the campaign that went into the administration
19:04are working incredibly hard every single day to deliver on the promises that president trump made during
19:09the campaign i think the biggest thing we have to look out for is that big beautiful bill and making
19:14president trump's tax cuts permanent i think we're going to continue to see success on the economy
19:20continue to see a secure border and the next hundred days will be another sprint i 100 agree with you
19:26on the next 100 days when it comes to the big beautiful tax bill because i think that will be the
19:31rocket fuel that this economy and quite frankly this presidency could use going forward i will caution with
19:37this do you think the ultimate success of his presidency at least economically comes down to this
19:45president and his economic team striking a few trade deals on tariffs within the next 100 days i think
19:51that's absolutely right i think president trump is pulling different levers to undo the failure of
19:56biden's last four years and his time in the white house he now has over 90 countries and different
20:02industries who want to come to the table to negotiate a better deal for the american worker for the
20:07american people that's the power that president trump has and we have to do that concurrently with
20:12those permanent tax cuts so that families have more money in their pocket to spend and pour into our
20:17economy a new fox news poll shows that 62 of voters want president trump to succeed i don't know who
20:24those other 38 were like i do not want trump and our nation to be successful but nevertheless that's where
20:30we are i want to jump ahead to a different topic because you we've been talking a lot about the republicans a
20:36lot about donald trump but there's also the other side the democrats they continue to fight the trump
20:42administration at every turn planning floor speeches rallying on the capitol steps and calling for mass
20:48protests take a listen to the dems just the last couple days watch senate democrats will take to the
20:55floor to highlight the disaster of donald trump's first 100 days we'll take to the senate steps and join in
21:02one voice with our house counterparts to decry the ways this president has already already only 100 days
21:10in failed our country never before in my life have i called for mass protests for mobilization for
21:17disruption but i am now these republicans cannot know a moment of peace okay so the party of judges
21:26harboring illegal aliens is now calling for disrupting the peace is that a winning message
21:33danielle no it's an embarrassing message for the democrats the democrats have not figured out what
21:39they stand for and all they do is counter president trump the issue is that president trump is picking
21:4380 20 issues issues that the american people support and it's really simple i was actually in the west
21:49wing in the last couple weeks and i remember talking to a friend who said how crazy is it that during the
21:54campaign we laid out the road map and president trump laid out the road map for exactly what he would do
22:01when he was in office and he's delivered and delivering on every single promise it's not that
22:06complicated unless you're a democrat and in democrat leadership then you have absolutely no message
22:11other than opposing president trump and it's why the american people are confused as to who's leading
22:16the democrat party is it aoc is it bernie sanders it's the socialist wing of the democrat party and
22:22they're going to continue losing for that reason and i think you drove home an important point
22:25the 20 of the 80 20 is democrat leadership it is the progressive left there's a ton of democrat
22:32voters who voted for donald trump because of what he promised because of what he's doing he's doing it
22:37now and i have to think that they're happy it's just not leadership danielle alvarez we're happy that
22:42you were here in studio we appreciate have a great day thank you for having carly over to you all
22:46right president trump is set to announce a brand new plan to relieve auto manufacturers from tariffs
22:51ahead of his rally in michigan tonight the founder of auto workers for trump will tell us exactly how
22:57blue collar america is being impacted by the president trump will rally in michigan tonight
23:01to celebrate his first 100 days back in office and while there he is expected to announce a move that
23:06would significantly reduce the impact of auto tariffs on car manufacturers a source telling fox
23:11business it's because the auto industry has made good faith efforts to move manufacturing back to the
23:16u.s lauren simonetti from our system network fox business here with the details lauren good morning
23:22the president will soften the blow of these auto tariffs and he's going to make the announcement in
23:26the car capital of the country michigan later today so right now there's a 25 tariff on imported cars
23:33and a 25 tariff on steel and aluminum which goes into so many of those cars he's expected to say
23:39according to the wall street journal that those tariffs won't be stackable let me give you an
23:44an example of that a leaf spring from mexico it's a suspension component with stackable tariffs that
23:51would be 80 percent clearly that's a burden the wall street journal is reporting he will also say this
23:58for the auto part tariffs on imported parts they're expected to go in effect this saturday he will
24:04reimburse the auto makers for those tariffs up to 3.75 of the value of the u.s made car for one year
24:12and then a little bit less after that so this is breathing a sigh of relief for the automakers who
24:18have pushed the administration to do a little bit more to help them this comes from the commerce
24:22secretary howard lutnik saying this deal is a major victory for the president's trade policy
24:27by rewarding companies who manufacture domestically while providing runway to manufacturers who have
24:33expressed their commitment to invest in america and expand their domestic manufacturing guess what many
24:40companies are investing here in the u.s that includes general motors expected to make a big announcement
24:46but also toyota hyundai nissan he wants to move those supply chains back here 16 million cars are built in the
24:54u.s every year but or i'm sorry sold 16 million cars are sold in the u.s every year but half of them are built
25:00elsewhere and that's one of the problems that he's trying to address the issue is you can't go like that
25:06and move a supply chain so he has a good faith effort from the big three the detroit automakers
25:11and some others and he'll work with them on that uh that word phrase good faith it's one of the most
25:17nebulous things in the law i remember from my time you could have 18 people with 107 different opinions
25:23as to what good faith means so exactly how far do you think good faith goes do you think they need to
25:28start digging ground on a new factory here in the united states or to your point is just like hey we're
25:34making a financial commitment that's our good faith for now i think we'll get a lot more details
25:38tonight when the president speaks but i think they're they're putting up jobs and factories yeah
25:43and money and money talks and he will be talking tonight as well we're gonna be watching that big
25:48speech lauren thank you so much for joining us all right let's bring in the founder of auto workers for
25:52trump and macomb county michigan resident brian pannebecker brian good morning to you you're the perfect
25:57person to talk to today because the president is going to be in macomb county making that speech and
26:01and let's start there with you you know the president could have made this speech anywhere
26:05but he chose macomb so why do you think that is what does it mean to you and what does it signal
26:11about the president's priorities for the next 100 days carly you're exactly right good point he could
26:17have gone anywhere in the country to make his announcement today pittsburgh you know where they
26:23the steel industry is kind of centered he could have gone to ohio but he didn't he came to michigan
26:28he's coming to macomb county and we're going to give him a big macomb county welcome because
26:33we don't have buyer's remorse you might hear the legacy media the corporate media trying to dampen the
26:40enthusiasm for donald trump well we're not feeling that here in macomb county we have no buyer's remorse
26:46we still support president trump 100 because we get it we've been waiting for a president like donald j
26:54trump for 30 or 40 years and we understand what he's trying to do so we're excited to see him
26:59tonight i want to follow through on the discussion we just had with lauren are you confident that the
27:04auto industry the people that employ automakers like yourself auto workers in the auto industry are
27:11you confident that these large companies are going to follow through on their promises to the president
27:17so that the president alleviate some of the tariff burden absolutely todd uh you know i've been telling
27:24people here in the detroit area when they voice any type of concern about the tariffs because not
27:30everybody follows the issue as closely as i do or members of auto workers for trump my group so i tell
27:37them just be patient have faith and trust trump this guy wrote the book on negotiations so the first thing
27:44he did was a 90 day pause on on the tariffs to give his negotiating team guys like howard lutnick
27:52and uh steve besant a chance to negotiate with some of our top trade partners and he's going to put
27:58together good trade agreements not like the ones that have gotten us 37 trillion dollars into debt
28:04and lost 90 000 manufacturing plants over the last 30 years he's completely changing our uh trade table
28:13and going to negotiate plans that benefit americans not foreign countries and foreign companies so i
28:21told everybody i've spoken to here in the detroit area be patient have faith trust trump watch this
28:28guy work he's a master and uh we have a hundred percent of concept confidence in his ability to
28:35negotiate good trade deals todd right well you know um there are a lot of people living paycheck to
28:40paycheck out there and i'm sure that you speak to some of them so what's the conversation like
28:45surrounding inflation and the concerns regarding that carly we know what he did in his first term
28:51he had inflation at 1.9 it's primarily because of his energy policies and once he gets his drill baby
29:00drill plan bring down inflation and keep it down just like he did in his first term so we remember how
29:08good things were during donald trump's first term we don't have any any uh doubts about his ability
29:14to do it so um we're very very confident that his trade policies his tariff policy are going to benefit
29:22the auto industry and um it's going to take six months or a year for everything to get fully implemented
29:29and start taking effect but three or four years from now things are going to be rocking and rolling here
29:34in the motor city again brian i want to broaden this out from beyond just the auto workers i want
29:40to focus on blue collar america that voting block that put donald trump ultimately into office that won
29:48him those key crucial midwest states the first 100 days has been very very bad for permanent washington
29:55they do not like what is happening does the blue collar worker in the middle of the nation
30:01like what donald trump has done in the first 100 days a hundred percent todd number one he i think
30:09his top priority was sealing the southern border we had fentanyl that was coming across the southern
30:15border and coming up here into the midwest states like tennessee and ohio pennsylvania wisconsin and
30:23thousands of people over the last five or six years have died of opioid overdoses because
30:30a lot of times young kids would buy a pill didn't know what it was there's fentanyl mixed in that's
30:36come uh from china through mexico and made its way into the midwest and we dealt with an opioid epidemic
30:43here over the last five or six years so no matter where you work you have to be concerned about your
30:49kids you have to be concerned about human trafficking and drugs coming across the southern border so uh we're
30:57extremely happy with what he's done it is going to be a busy day yeah it's going to be a busy day
31:02in macomb county and we thank you so much for joining us thanks brian brian thank you so much
31:06thank you so much from one brian to another here's brian
31:19thank you so much for now
31:41uh
