00:00It's time for our second date update, and Aaron kind of needs our help.
00:03He actually tried to go out with Stacey, but it sounds like Aaron went to the wrong location.
00:10Yeah, and he admitted right up front that it was his fault, and he knows the reason why it's happening.
00:15But is that the real reason why, now that we've heard it, Lana?
00:18Yeah.
00:19When we call Stacey, is that what she's going to say?
00:22Hey, it's because you went to the wrong location.
00:24Right.
00:24I'm interested to see what this is.
00:26Well, he wants a do-over, so he's like, let's, I want to try to get this, you know,
00:29I want to try to take her out again, because he, they never ended up actually meeting up,
00:33because he went to the wrong place.
00:34So, Stacey's on hold.
00:37She agreed to go on the air with us, so let's bring her on right now.
00:40Good morning, Stacey.
00:41How are you?
00:42Hi.
00:43I'm okay.
00:44How are you?
00:45Good.
00:45Hey, I just want to say thank you so much for coming on the air with us this morning to
00:48talk to us about this date you went on with Aaron.
00:52So, obviously, things didn't go very well on this date, and Aaron really never made it
00:57to the date, huh?
00:58Yeah, no, there was no date.
01:00He screwed up big time, left me sitting by myself at a bar, waiting forever, and just
01:10didn't even show up.
01:11I don't even understand why he didn't come and meet me.
01:14It makes no sense.
01:16Like, I told him to meet me at Strand Hill Public in Tampa, you know, right next to Armature
01:20Works.
01:21Okay.
01:21For some reason.
01:22I don't know why he went to the one in Brandon.
01:24I told him Tampa, though.
01:25So, I don't understand.
01:28That stinks.
01:29So, once you guys found out that you were in two separate locations, wasn't one of you
01:34willing to drive?
01:35I mean, yeah.
01:36He just told me he was going to go home.
01:37I mean, it's 20 minutes away, 25 minutes away, whatever.
01:40I just don't understand why he couldn't just come there.
01:43He just decided to go home and sit.
01:44So, I didn't even get a date, never eat dinner that night.
01:47The whole night was completely ruined.
01:49And he should have just come to Tampa.
01:51Like, it's a 20-minute drive.
01:53And instead of coming, he's like, ah, forget it.
01:5520 minutes.
01:55Forget it.
01:56You left me hanging.
01:57You left me in a bar, sitting at a table in a restaurant area alone.
02:01Like, what do you mean for, like, I'm going to go home?
02:04Like, you just stood me up.
02:05So, Aaron's also on the phone, as you heard.
02:09Yeah.
02:09Yeah.
02:09So, Aaron, I mean, it was only 20 minutes away.
02:13What's the problem?
02:14Why didn't you just buzz over there?
02:1520 minutes?
02:16It was not 20 minutes.
02:18Okay, 25 minutes.
02:20Whatever.
02:21Oh, my goodness.
02:21No.
02:22The thing is, with the traffic, it was rush hour.
02:26I drove there early, but the problem was, going back, I was going to be cutting through
02:31rush hour.
02:32It was like an hour and a half.
02:35It was a super long way to be trying to go.
02:38That's why I was like, you know what?
02:39That's my bad.
02:40I made the mistake.
02:41I didn't, I'd never heard of the place.
02:43Strand House.
02:43Okay, but obviously, wait a second.
02:45Obviously, I told you I live in Tampa.
02:47Why would I go to the one in Brandon?
02:49I've never heard of the place.
02:51I didn't know there were multiple locations.
02:55So, when I popped it into my maps, it took me straight to that one.
03:00Okay, but how did you not, like, notice when Googling that there were different locations?
03:04Like, did you just Google five minutes before you were supposed to be there?
03:07You should have done more research.
03:08Like, you messed up.
03:10When I Googled it, they took me to the one that was first.
03:14I didn't know there were other ones.
03:16So, Aaron, you were at the one in Brandon, and then, Stacey, you were at the one in
03:19Armature Works in Tampa.
03:21Yeah.
03:22All right.
03:22And neither one, and Aaron, you weren't going to the one in Tampa because it was during
03:26rush hour, and it was going to take traffic in Tampa, you know, it stinks, you know?
03:31Oh, yeah.
03:31So, I agree.
03:32It can take an hour to get from Brandon to Tampa easily sometimes.
03:36So, all right.
03:37So, okay.
03:37So, big deal.
03:39I mean, Stacey, it was, you know, an honest mistake.
03:42It's not like you'd ever heard of this place.
03:43You didn't do this intentionally.
03:45Why don't you give Aaron another chance, and you guys can maybe meet at maybe a place
03:50where you both know about.
03:52No, I'm not doing that.
03:53I made a date with him at the right location at the right time, and he wouldn't even come.
03:58Like, he just left me sitting there.
04:00I didn't get to eat dinner that night.
04:01I was starving.
04:02Like, bottom line is, he should have come and met me no matter what.
04:06So, no.
04:07Absolutely not.
04:09You got one chance, and you blew it.
04:10I was sitting there waiting for you a long time, too.
04:13And I was like, oh, dang it.
04:16Wrong place.
04:17Okay, well, oh, dang it.
04:18You're not getting a second date.
04:19Oh, man.
04:21Dang.
04:22I'm sorry.
04:22I don't think I laughed.
04:23The whole night was ruined.
04:25You know, even the bartender looked at me and said, oh, that stood up, huh?
04:30So mortifying.
04:32But you didn't get stood up.
04:33It was a mistake.
04:35You didn't show up.
04:36That's standing someone up.
04:38I don't care about your mistake.
04:39I think you need to look up the definition of stood up.
04:42I think you're getting confused.
04:44Because when someone goes on a date and the other person doesn't show up at that date,
04:48that's getting stood up, and that's what you did to me.
04:50I don't care where you were, what you were doing.
04:53We had a date.
04:54You didn't show up.
04:55I was sitting there alone, mortified, got called out by a bartender, starving,
04:59never ate dinner that night.
05:00The whole night was ruined.
05:01I even left work early.
05:03Not happening.
05:04N-O.
05:05Google it.
05:05It means no.
05:06No.
05:07All right.
05:07Well, Erin, she sounds pretty firm in her decision.
05:13Sorry we couldn't help you out, but she seems like she's still a little upset about this.
05:18You know what?
05:19It's whatever.
05:20I mean, like I said, I already said I was sorry and that it was my fault.
05:25I can't do anything other than that.
05:27You're right, though.
05:27That's all really much you can do.
05:29Well, sorry we couldn't make a date happen.
05:31Stacey, thanks so much for coming on the air with us this morning.
05:34We appreciate it.
05:35We know you're busy, so thank you so much.
05:37And, Erin, sorry.
05:39Nah, it's okay.
05:40All right, guys.
05:42Bye.
05:43I mean, I understand why she's upset, but that was an honest mistake.
05:49It was, but she was like, it's not.
05:52But, I mean.
05:53Who doesn't look up that there's two in the area?
05:55Like, I get that.
05:57Like, it's like the story with everything in dating.
06:00Lack of communication.
06:02Lack of communication.
06:03Like, communicate.
06:04Hey, are you here?
06:05Like, what was.
06:06Well, okay.
06:07I want to know what you guys think.
06:08You know, is it Erin's fault?
06:09Should he have been more attentive to the directions and the places?
06:13Or is it maybe Stacey's fault?
06:15Because, you know, she really didn't maybe explain that there was two of them.
06:18Erin obviously had never heard of this place before.
06:20We want to know what you think.
