00:00Well, we go around the room real quick and tell everybody what's going on in our world.
00:04Roy, what about you?
00:05So last night when we were getting ready for bed, in my ear mattress.
00:10Yes.
00:12You have no furniture in your room.
00:15Sterling, my partner, realized I didn't do my nighttime facial cream regimen, skin care
00:23regimen, and he said, hey, you know, you really need to make sure you're taking care of yourself
00:27during these times.
00:28And I said, no, these are exigent circumstances.
00:33I'm living on an air mattress.
00:36I'm living on a camping chair.
00:38We're camping.
00:39You do not apply night cream out in the woods when you're camping.
00:43Thank you, Loran.
00:44I'm like, if our family had a flag, it'd be upside down.
00:49We are in distress.
00:51I'm quitting my job.
00:52We're moving to Kentucky.
00:54I don't have time for night cream.
00:55So that break down happened five minutes before bed.
01:01I know.
01:03It's so funny how people could just do their normal regimens when their lives are all in
01:07disarray.
01:08Yeah.
01:09You know, I don't know where anything is.
01:12The only thing I was going to share with you guys was yesterday we had some rain like it
01:19kind of rained in where I live in Waxhaw.
01:21It was a really steep downpour and we're getting some work done in our neighborhood.
01:26They're Union County powers, putting in new power lines and stuff.
01:29So the workers, the guy that drove the truck was like took off.
01:34So there's three workers and I invited them into the garage.
01:37For what?
01:38To not get soaking wet.
01:39That was nice of you.
01:40Oh, that's very nice of you.
01:41Yeah.
01:41Yeah.
01:41And then I gave him each a Coke.
01:43And then I was like, then my daughter was inside and I'm like, I want to go inside.
01:47But then I'm like, I don't want to leave these guys here.
01:49I think that's weird.
01:50Now you have to entertain them.
01:51Yeah.
01:51So, you know, and only one of them spoke really good English.
01:55So you imagine me, you know how I do with Spanish.
01:57You know, I'm like, cervezas, amigos.
01:59And they all laughed.
02:01You know, you use Spanish like any other white middle aged man.
02:05I was told.
02:07Yeah, I got green.
02:08May I remind you that when I was in Mexico, I was told by one of the people who worked at
02:12the resort that I had, quote, good Spanish dialect because I rolled my utters.
02:17You know what I was told by someone who speaks Spanish fluently, who lives in California?
02:22What?
02:23He said, just talk in Spanish like yourself.
02:27Right.
02:27Too many people try to focus on the assimilation.
02:34Don't do that.
02:35Just speak Spanish.
02:37They'll respect you.
02:38They'll know you.
02:39Don't try to throw an accent in there.
02:40Because it's like, think about our accents.
02:42I have a different accent than Lorraine.
02:43Lorraine has a different accent than you.
02:45Don't try to focus on the thing.
02:48Right.
02:50That, that, that, I didn't really, okay.
02:53That clip's going to haunt me.
02:54What about you, Rand?
02:55What's going on in your world?
02:56Okay, so you guys know I am planning my son's second birthday.
03:01And I go all in on things.
03:03So the theme is like the notorious JAX, right?
03:09Like it's too legit to quit.
03:11It's 90s.
03:13It's like big, it's flashy, you know, whatever.
03:16Because he's turning two?
03:16Because he's turning two.
03:17So I want 90s music at the party.
03:21So I have spent the last two days getting together a 90s playlist.
03:26But let's be honest, the 90s weren't the cleanest lyrics in the world.
03:31So I have had to put everything into one track and go through and clean up lyrics.
03:37So now I have this big, long track.
03:40And what I wanted to ask was Roy to voice track my party.
03:48Oh, my God.
03:52What do you mean voice track your party?
03:54With JAX 2.0 radio.
03:56You want me to make like a radio sound like me, like being the host of the birthday party?
04:01Oh, you're so extra.
04:03Oh, my God.
04:04I want you to voice track my party and make it sound like a Saturday show.
04:08Hey, how do I even do that?
04:12That's like, that's salt and pepper.
04:13Push it here on JAX 2.0.
04:15I hope everyone's having a good time.
04:18Yeah, dude.
04:19You're doing it.
04:20The only birthday boy to put corn in the pool.
04:23Like, I don't know, like funny stuff.
04:25The number one birthday station, JAX 2.0.
04:30We have some snacks over there by the big trampoline.
04:34Also, champagne and saber.
04:36Kids, watch out the saber.
04:38Here's some salt and pepper.
04:40Push it on the JAX.
04:42Birthdays bash.
04:43Wouldn't that be funny, though?
04:45I think that would be hilarious.
04:48This is interesting.
04:49It's a song I told my dad whenever I came out of the closet.
04:53No, no, this is a different song.
04:54I thought it was coming out.
04:57No, it's Notorious B.I.G.
04:59Puff Daddy.
05:00By the way, JAX, I think they were gangsters.
05:03Welcome to your birthday.
05:05I like it.
05:06Wouldn't that be hilarious?
05:07I think that would be so funny.
05:09I don't even know what I would say.
05:10I don't know.
05:10I'll put together like a bunch of things.
05:12She'll write you a script.
05:13I was about to say, I know how to like present here on this radio station.
05:18I'll put together like a bunch of things.
05:20So we're doing like McDonald's, right?
05:22McDonald's?
05:22Yeah, we're doing McDonald's.
05:23I'm getting McDonald's instead of like putting together catering or whatever.
05:26And I'm printing stickers that say Big Jack's to go on the hamburgers.
05:32Like I'm telling you, down to the T.
05:34I'll just put together a list of facts and then you can spit them.
05:38Love it.
05:39All right, JAX, your mom has really gone off the deep end.
05:47But that's okay.
05:48I'm here to make sure you're entertained for your birthday celebration.
05:51Everybody drink up.
05:52Some Spice Girls now on JAX 2.0.
05:54That's funny.
05:57But who's going to be listening to that?
05:59You know what will happen?
06:00At the party, everybody talks.
06:02Yeah, but you know what will happen?
06:03It will happen a couple times and then people will start going, is there somebody talking?
06:09Like is this a radio station?
06:10Give me another one.
06:10Give me another one.
06:11All right.
06:11Give me another one.
06:12I have another idea.
06:13All right, JAX, just to let you know, I'm on the fourth floor of your mom's mansion here
06:17having a birthday celebration.
06:19Enjoy your Big Jax from McDonald's.
06:21I would say something more specific, like your mom's boyfriend's name is AJ.
06:30Like, AJ, make sure you clean up your mess this time.
06:32That's not bad.
06:33That's not bad.
06:34That's not very specific.
06:35That's not bad.
06:37Hang on.
06:37Give me another one.
06:38Give me another one.
06:38You can't leave yet.
06:39Give me another one.
06:40All right.
06:41Let me see.
06:41I'm enjoying this.
06:42You know, we don't have a huge 90s.
06:44We don't?
06:44Come on.
06:44You guys know this will be funny.
06:46Do you have jump in there?
06:48Hold on.
06:49Hold on.
06:49You know, it's not easy to search.
06:51So give me a minute.
06:52All right.
06:52Here we go.
06:53Here we go.
06:54JAX 2.0 birthday celebration.
06:56Dallas.
06:57Lauren says you've had a bit too many bourbons.
06:59Tone it back.
07:01Birthday bash continues.
07:03If you have a request, let me know.
07:051-800-CALL-JAX.
07:07Birthday party.
07:08Brought to you by McDonald's.
07:11Guys, you know that would be hilarious.
07:13I mean, I think you're doing it.
07:15You don't have to convince us.
07:17You have the idea.
07:18It sounds like it's going to happen.
07:19Roy has to voice track.
07:21Jax's birthday party.
07:22On his way out is his last thing he does before he moves next week.
07:25It's my last show.
07:26This is what my unemployment has gone to.
07:28I will host birthday parties.
07:30It all ties in together.
07:32How nice, Roy.
