00:00Rachel was hyped up this morning on the Second Date Update, Commercial Free New Country 99.5 QYK.
00:05She said, I'm not letting this guy go.
00:07All right.
00:07I want to see him again.
00:09So we have him on hold right now, a little worried for him, but it's okay.
00:14She's pumped about their date.
00:15So let's bring him on right now.
00:17He's agreed to talk to us.
00:18David, are you there?
00:19I am here.
00:20All right, man.
00:21Well, thank you for coming on with us.
00:22I do appreciate that.
00:23I'm only here for one reason, and that's because she owes me money.
00:27She owes you money?
00:28Yeah.
00:29Like for half the date or what?
00:31What happened?
00:32Oh, for like, you know, just almost ruining my Tesla.
00:36Let me, okay, let me back up.
00:38So I mentioned I had a Tesla on her date, and she was like, oh, my gosh, I've never gotten to drive a Tesla.
00:45Oh, my gosh, I'd love to drive a Tesla.
00:47And I thought, you know, why not?
00:50Why not give her a little spin, let her check it out, parking lot, you know.
00:54It is fun to drive.
00:56Yeah.
00:57It's fun to drive.
00:58And, like, you know, she's cool.
01:00Like, I had a good time at first.
01:03But after I let her drive it, you know, we went around the block and ended up back at the restaurant.
01:08She goes in the parking lot, and she scratches one of those yellow poles that's just, like, on the side there.
01:13Yeah.
01:14And she gets out.
01:16We both look at it.
01:17And she just goes, oopsie.
01:20And walks off.
01:22Walks off.
01:24I was just like, I'm trying to keep it cool.
01:26Like, I'm really trying to keep it cool because, you know, we're on this date.
01:30It's been really fun until now.
01:32And, like, I don't want to make her feel bad.
01:33Obviously, this is probably an accident.
01:35Whatever.
01:35We'll make it right.
01:36Yeah, but how bad was it?
01:38I'm talking, like, a six to eight inch, like, just, like, big scratch.
01:45And, like, and now I have a black test book.
01:48It's a yellow pole.
01:50So there's a huge yellow, like, yeah.
01:52It definitely shows it's very visible.
01:56And it looks bad.
01:57It's going to take some work.
01:57It's going to take a lot of money to fix.
01:59And as I was, like, looking at it, figuring out what to do, holding my tongue because I didn't want to be mean or anything or blame her,
02:06she just looks at me and says, I'm going to let you take care of this, and walks off.
02:09Oh, man.
02:10Whoa.
02:11And she just went home?
02:12Just went home.
02:13I mean, did she seem like she was sorry, at least?
02:15I mean, she said oopsie, but.
02:17No.
02:18She didn't seem like she cared at all.
02:21Like, I tried to downplay it.
02:23She, I didn't need to downplay it because it was, like, nothing in her mind.
02:25It was as if, like, she stepped on a bug and was just, like, oopsie, but then she wiped it on me.
02:30It's, like, I'm, I'm, I was so thrown off, and I don't want to see someone like that.
02:35She hasn't offered to, like, pay or make it right.
02:37And, you know, I'm not even saying I'd make her pay for it, but it's the offer.
02:41It's the fact that she didn't care at all, not even make a comment about it.
02:44It's just, you know, I'm glad you had me on the radio because I just, she hopefully should hear this.
02:49I can't believe she called us.
02:51Yeah.
02:51Well, she, she definitely heard it because she's on the phone with us, too.
02:56And that's how we got your number, David.
02:58Rachel?
02:59Yeah.
03:00It's not that big of a deal.
03:01He has insurance.
03:02Like, this happens to everybody.
03:04Everybody's done this before.
03:05You go through your insurance, it's not a big deal.
03:08Do you see the words you just said?
03:10I mean, you clearly have money, and you're driving a Tesla.
03:12It's all good.
03:13Oh, my God.
03:14I have money.
03:15I'm driving a Tesla.
03:16You're inconsiderate.
03:18That's the issue here.
03:19You literally scratch up my car.
03:21Don't even offer me a bike.
03:22Inconsiderate?
03:23No, I'm not.
03:24Like, it's not that big of a deal.
03:25And you're exaggerating.
03:26It was a NIC.
03:27Are they for real right now?
03:28A NIC.
03:29That's going to be like a $3,000 NIC.
03:31Okay?
03:32At least.
03:33You're insured to pay for it.
03:34That's why you have insurance.
03:36You have insurance.
03:36No, I have insurance.
03:37Of course.
03:38Insurance is for accidents.
03:39Okay?
03:40Like, actual accidents.
03:41Not you scratching my car.
03:43And why not offer me your insurance for doing it?
03:46You did this.
03:46I mean, it's not my car.
03:49No, but it's your fault, right?
03:50Call your insurance.
03:51File a claim.
03:52Like, it's not that big of a deal.
03:54Okay.
03:54It's not even about that.
03:55Like, I don't even care about that.
03:57You're right.
03:57I can't afford it.
03:58The issue is you.
03:59You're inconsiderate.
04:00You're thoughtless.
04:01And I would not go out with somebody who's inconsiderate and thoughtless.
04:04Oh, boy.
04:04Wow.
04:05It's a fact.
04:06You are miserable.
04:07And you know what?
04:07I'm glad I saw it on the first date.
04:09Because I would have wasted a lot of time and money on somebody who doesn't deserve any of that.
04:14Wow.
04:16I did not think you were like this.
04:18Now I'm seeing your true colors.
04:20Interesting.
04:20My true colors.
04:21You're crazy.
04:22Do you not see how crazy you are?
04:24You call a radio station.
04:26And now I'm crazy?
04:27Okay.
04:29Like, oh, my God.
04:30Do you understand you're the inconsiderate one here?
04:33So, Rachel, I mean, you did scratch his car.
04:35I mean, did it ever maybe cross your mind that, hey, maybe I might want to offer her to help pay for that?
04:40You guys, he is so exaggerating.
04:42It's like a little, like, maybe one-inch Nick.
04:45It is not like this huge yellow mark that he's making it out to be.
04:50No, it is.
04:51You're being so dramatic.
04:53I'm being dramatic.
04:54You didn't even say sorry.
04:55Not one time.
04:56Not once.
04:57But it's what an awkward situation, though.
04:59He let her drive the car, and she doesn't even know him.
05:04I mean, they've only been out on one date.
05:06I'm like, what do you do?
05:07I don't know.
05:08You'd be considerate, and she's not.
05:10So, I don't even care about the money.
05:12I don't want to see her again.
05:12That's the whole bottom line.
05:14Wow.
05:15Okay.
05:15All right, guys.
05:16Well, I'm going to jump in, because this is not going to go well.
05:20David, sorry that happened to your car.
05:23I apologize.
05:24I hope your insurance can figure that out for you.
05:27Rachel?
05:27It will figure it out for him.
05:29That's why.
05:30Oh, my God.
05:31All right.
05:32I'm going to let you guys go.
05:32All right.
05:34Talk to you later, guys.
05:36Whoa.
05:36He is mad.
05:38Well, I mean, this car is scratched.
05:40I get it.
05:40But, yeah, he did kind of put himself in a tough situation.
05:43But she could have said sorry.
05:45All she said was oopsie and left.
05:48That's not that cool.
05:49Well, absolutely.
05:50And we all know that I know it does cost a lot of money to fix a Tesla, no matter what
05:54small.
05:55Well, any paint damage costs a lot of money.
05:57It's a lot of money.
05:58But I know.
05:59But it's so, I mean, she just met him, and he did let her drive the car.
06:04I mean, is that the risk we all take when we let somebody drive our cars?
06:08All right.
06:09Let's see where you're at.
06:09This is a good question.
06:10800-992-1099.
