Call the Bailiffs Time to Pay Up S02E01 (20 July 2022)
Transcript
00:00We're High Court enforcement agents, we've got a High Court here, I'd like to sort this out face to face.
00:0712 billion pounds is owed to people and businesses in the UK.
00:12Don't do that sir!
00:13There is money owed, and it has to be paid.
00:16When all other attempts to settle a debt have failed.
00:19This is quite a lot of money, it's over 5,000 pounds.
00:21Can we come to the bill, please?
00:22Cases can end up at the High Court.
00:24Nothing can conquer the rigs.
00:26Where a judgement commands enforcement officers to recover what's owed.
00:29Our agents are the last chance saloon.
00:31Let's go!
00:32A High Court writ.
00:34All check-in debts are going to be closed until this matter is resolved.
00:36Gives agents the authority to enter unlocked homes and businesses.
00:40We've made contact, we know they're there.
00:42We're important agent.
00:44Everybody leads the trail.
00:46And to seize and sell property.
00:48Do you think there's something where you go, call the police?
00:50They're trying to do everything they can apart from actually paying the bill.
00:52To finally get debts paid.
00:54They want us to get their money back.
00:5656,000 pounds and 76 pence, outstanding.
00:58What's done?
00:59In these difficult times.
01:00I need to go home.
01:01Agents find ways for people to clear their debts.
01:04We're not ogres, we're nice people.
01:06Hopefully it'll be a weight for shoulders then.
01:08But every day.
01:09Call the police now.
01:10They face aggression.
01:11You wanna find me?
01:12Don't do this again.
01:13Hey!
01:14And abuse.
01:15Get out of my way!
01:16As they try to settle debts.
01:18Watch your back, Chris.
01:19This is 70 grand here.
01:20That no one else can.
01:21He thinks he can fight me.
01:22Let's see.
01:23I know.
01:24Throw it down!
01:33Rent arrears are bread and butter for High Court enforcement agents.
01:37They can quickly mount up to thousands of pounds.
01:40Leaving property owners seriously in debt themselves.
01:44We are literally the last resort to get the money back for them.
01:49They're relying on us.
01:51When all other attempts have failed, the High Court will command agents to recover the
01:57money owed.
01:58It comes down to the claimants.
02:02You know, they want their money.
02:04Why should this person get away with keeping it?
02:08Right, David, we've been here before, haven't we?
02:12This is the second visit.
02:13Yeah.
02:14I'm hoping today that we actually catch him there, because it was a bit later last time.
02:18Enforcement agents Sherry and David are trying to find a man who owes thousands in unpaid
02:25rent.
02:26And this isn't the first time they've tried the address they're heading to.
02:30Does he live here, madam?
02:31No, he doesn't.
02:32No.
02:33Do you know where he lives then, please?
02:34I don't know.
02:35He's looking up.
02:36Because we have this address for him.
02:38I think she knows more than what she's letting on.
02:41Armed with a High Court writ, they're going back for a second look.
02:45I do suspect that he is either living there or staying there.
02:52This is quite a lot of money, though, isn't it?
02:56Hopefully, we'll get resolution today.
03:00I've not seen any curtain move over or anything like that.
03:01Shall I try a side door?
03:02Yes, let's go round here.
03:03Cherry?
03:04Is it back door?
03:05Yeah.
03:06Hello, enforcement agent?
03:07Look.
03:08Men's shoes.
03:09Hello.
03:10Enforcement agent?
03:11Good morning.
03:12Good morning.
03:13Oh, yeah, we've been here before.
03:14I've never seen any curtain move over or anything like that.
03:16Shall I try a side door?
03:17Yes, let's go round here.
03:18Cherry.
03:19Is it back door?
03:20Yeah.
03:21Hello, enforcement agent?
03:22yes hello enforcement agent look men's shoes hello enforcement agent good
03:33morning enforcement oh yeah we've been here before
03:36get up no you don't want to do that we'll have to call the police
03:46no no no look we'll call the police hey hey hey hey that's assault on a minute that's assault
03:59no no no we don't need to let's call the police if you have to do that again you can't break and
04:08enter into my house I did not open the door for you I did not the door is unlocked no I didn't open
04:14it for you let me explain to you no go outside don't explain to me go outside you break and
04:21enter into my house sir you're done you aren't you well I've heard her just call you Danny so
04:28if it's not you could you show us who you are please so you're threatening us it can be dangerous
04:38yes but you're on Cumberbatch in mind I don't give a toss but I understand if they start shouting at
04:44you get out the house I didn't invite you in hi you're breaking the law no it's made a threat as
04:51well hello could I have police please I wouldn't be there if the judge hadn't decided that I should
04:58be there with the High Court writ police are on the way enforcement agents Mark and Sam hello are
05:11also hot on the trail of a man who owes money for unpaid rent we have a new address for a judgment
05:19we'll be grateful if you could make an urgent attendant a High Court writ has been issued
05:24commanding agents to recover over 85,000 pounds I know if someone owed me 90 Kate I'd be stressed out
05:32yeah so it's not just money is it it's their life landlord requests for help to recover rent debt
05:39increased by 180 percent in 2021 with many claims against tenants who withheld rent during the pandemic
05:47eviction ban when landlords couldn't remove them I do feel sorry for my claimants you know some of
05:55landlords have been hit hard they could potentially lose their homes through that that's London it's a
06:01nice flat in a nice area in affluent parts of London a two-bedroom rental property in a prime location can
06:09cost up to six and a half thousand pounds a month this is large debt for us but for these people it might
06:16just be nothing the drop in the ocean so we need to find some assets the agents are attending a different
06:25address to the one where tens of thousands of pounds in rent has gone unpaid they believe this
06:34is where they will find the man named on the High Court writ Mr. Bada Al-Azimi hello my name's Sam
06:42hello so I'm Mark I'm a High Court enforcement agent we need to sort this out okay because there's a large
06:48amount of outstanding we need to sort this out to minimize the stress in yourselves sir can you come
06:56to the door please there's a lot of people noises in there yeah
07:05I'll tell you why oh I got that you can go home I'll call
07:09they can speak we've got to the place hopefully I can have a blackboard over sir pass it around
07:18get me lift yeah I can get it patience is key in this game so we've got change our tactics to match for
07:31debtors
07:43morning
07:45I hate this, I'm pregnant!
07:47Listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, I'm pregnant!
07:49Bro, bro, bro, bro!
07:55What is this?
07:57Talk to me then!
07:59Come, talk to me!
08:01Don't do this again!
08:03Don't do this again!
08:05Don't do this again!
08:07Don't do this again!
08:09I don't care!
08:11Don't do this again!
08:13Don't do this again!
08:15Don't do this again!
08:17Don't do this again!
08:19Coming up...
08:21See that!
08:23The police make an alarming discovery in Coventry...
08:25He's not even a weapon!
08:27...and Sam and Mark...
08:29Don't do this again!
08:31Yes, talk to me like this!
08:33...face more aggressive behaviour...
08:35Go to the police now!
08:37I don't care!
08:39Enforcement agent Sam...
08:41...is trying to find Mr. Bada Al-Azimi...
08:43...who owes someone 85,000 pounds...
08:45...in unpaid rent and fees!
08:47Call the police and come back!
08:49Okay?
08:50Call the police and come back!
08:51Please, please!
08:52Please will be!
08:53Yes!
08:54Can you talk to me?
08:55Right, now listen to me!
08:57Listen to me!
08:58I appreciate it!
08:59I've got bad news for you!
09:00You know, and I appreciate it!
09:01You're probably not having the best day ever!
09:03However, you're gonna have to get the news...
09:04...one way or another!
09:06Um...
09:08...the abuse is just...
09:10Yeah, it's unreal!
09:11The man claims he's not the person named on the High Court writ...
09:27...Mr. Al-Azimi...
09:29al-Azimi. So Sam asked to see his ID. The driving license he shows Sam
09:58is not the one they already have for Mr. Al-Azimi. This one is in the name of a Mr. Mashari Al-Anazzi who isn't named on the High Court writ.
10:26Sam's colleague Mark rejoins her.
10:32He's hiding something. Oh my God.
10:36With photographic ID for Mr. Al-Azimi already in their possession, Sam's confident they have their man and he's not showing them his real identification.
10:46People lie all the time. What they don't get is it makes matters worse.
10:52The agents need to be 100% certain that a person they are speaking to is or isn't the person named on a High Court writ before they call off the enforcement. The agents press on and ask Mr. Al-Azimi for other forms of ID.
11:08What? I deal with what only? Who is you or him?
11:12Talk to him. I believe you are him. All right.
11:16The man says he will find more documentation.
11:20Yeah, I'm just standing here.
11:22No, no, no, no, no. I'm trying to help you here.
11:26No, no, no, no. I like to. The door is closed.
11:29We'll just talk about it.
11:30Wait here. Wait here.
11:31I know it's upsetting. Now I do apologize. Honestly, because we got a High Court writ, we're allowed to enter. Yeah?
11:37I want to look, say that, okay, I've looked, I don't see anything of this man in this house.
11:43Yeah, so man, you're looking for man.
11:45Man, look. This one. See?
11:48This one I know where he is.
11:50Yeah, this is the one we want.
11:52It's all to tell.
11:54Still claiming he's not him, the man says Mr. Al-Azimi was actually a previous occupant at the address.
12:02The agents will still need to see proof that they've not already found who they're looking for.
12:08The debtors try their hardest to throw us off the scent.
12:11They produce paperwork.
12:13They get people phoning up, claiming their solicitors.
12:17They just try and provide as much smoke and mirrors as possible.
12:23Agents can make peaceful entry into someone's home
12:27if they reasonably believe it is the residence of a person named on a High Court writ.
12:32This young lady here is going to do a quick search.
12:36Come here, talk to me.
12:38No, she's trying to get past.
12:39No, okay, okay, I scared.
12:40Okay, can you show me what you're doing?
12:42Don't push my stuff. Come there, talk to me.
12:43I'm not pushing. I'm not here.
12:44Nicely. Come there, talk to me nicely.
12:46No, no.
12:47Wait, don't push. Don't push.
12:48Yes, talk to me like this.
12:50Yeah, because I say stop there, I don't care.
12:52Stop there, talk to me, please.
12:54Please, I'm staying here.
12:55No, no, stop there.
12:56Stop there, I'll stay here.
12:57You're not a person now.
12:58Stop there, I'll show you my ID.
12:59You are not.
13:00No, you are, you are.
13:01I'm not touching it.
13:02Wait.
13:03Can you go out?
13:04You are.
13:05You're in the shot.
13:06Right, call the police now.
13:07Nicely.
13:08That is uncalled for.
13:09Yeah, call the police.
13:10Yes, we are.
13:11Yes.
13:12I'm a High Court enforcement agent, enforcement of High Court writ.
13:14So we're inside a property, and the gentleman just assaulted myself and a female.
13:19Right, okay.
13:21If you want outside the property, okay, until the police arrive.
13:24Okay, thank you.
13:25All right, thank you.
13:26Bye-bye.
13:27Thank you, bye.
13:28Is there a police on the line?
13:29Yeah.
13:30Bye-bye.
13:31Bye-bye.
13:32The police have arrived to assist Sherry and David, with an aggressive man they believe
13:54in unpaid rent he's assorted him already he's threatened us so we know it's let we
14:02believe someone's gone out the front door we believe they've gone okay
14:05do you see that by the way there's no reason that needs to build a back door
14:11we just we just record that that which could be used to seriously injure somebody's being
14:17kept by a back door that's all i was letting them know because they obviously haven't seen it
14:21so i'm just letting them know okay that has nothing because i'm doing my love and the
14:25builders they need it to dismantle the love the thing upstairs in the loft it has nothing to do
14:31with that and it's not even a weapon right is uh daniel here you saw them this morning
14:37there you go that's it he was here and he's gone yes with the admission that the person they are
14:44looking for was the man who threatened sherry and david earlier the agents have finally found their
14:49debtor david let's go on but as he's disappeared they will look for property owned by him which
14:57could be seized and sold to repay the debt when you know somebody owes the money the worst part is
15:04the frustration when you just can't get it over the line what's behind me up on the wall everything is
15:12down to proof got to prove it got lots of final demand look there's letters to him yeah there's
15:19address yeah that's all over the place for him he's obviously disappeared for a reason
15:31one of the hardest hit sectors during the pandemic was the hospitality and events industry bars have
15:37really struggled during covid we are aware of that almost a million companies in the uk were at risk
15:43of collapse they have businesses here and that's why they owe loads of money impacting thousands of
15:49customers too hi alex just calling about this particular one it's uh an unpaid uh judgment in
15:59relation to a wedding deposit if you could make an attendance as soon as possible please the wedding
16:07planner casey and alex are heading to has defaulted on a repayment plan they had previously agreed with
16:13the agents you are like a married couple aren't we could you imagine you'd wear the dress and i'd wear
16:18i wear the pants well the only similarity about being being married is that we constantly argue
16:26the debt is owed to a couple whose wedding was cancelled because of the pandemic
16:34oh great so we'll park here
16:44hello sorry to disturb you madam my name is alex um my colleagues with me here casey uh are you in
16:50charge of the of the company i'm not only in charge but i'm the one of the manager okay
16:54okay the woman contacts one of the company directors hello my name is alex um we've been
17:03told to attend this premises today there's a high court written issued against you guys there's an
17:07amount of 2048 pounds 25 pence and unfortunately we have been ordered to seize goods here or or shut
17:15this actual venue so is there anyone who can resolve this amount okay no worries that's absolutely
17:22fine we'll wait here for you no worries no worries the company director is on his way with one of the
17:27firm's accountants it would be very surprising if that they allowed it to get to the next stage of
17:32of the listing and removal of goods i mean never say never uh if they decide to dig their heels in but he
17:37seems relatively reasonable hello hello yes the director arrives first casey nice to meet you
17:51oh are these are these people that have canceled their weddings because of the pandemic is that
17:55what it's up ah so they paid for the wedding they paid a deposit or whatever it was so they want the
18:00deposit back the debt itself will never go downwards unless you start paying it off that's the only way
18:06it's ever going to start going down if you continue to ignore it that the fees that you incur when
18:13it goes through the high court are considerable when the accountant arrives the director tells
18:19the agents that the company does not have enough money to pay the debt and i understand that you're
18:24saying you have no money you're going to have to find any other means to collect it we understand
18:29you're struggling at this point but we don't have an option it's a trading office we will be locking
18:33the doors with the locksmith and yes you know we can do that until it's paid we don't want to do
18:37that that's the part we don't want to do yeah we are we were we had the arrangement yeah but then
18:44you broke it what's the minimum i can pay today everything it has to be paid you only get one chance
18:51is either to collect the amount that is owed or to remove goods i'm a lawyer so do you know the
18:56legislation yes i'm not registered i don't want to read that to you you know we don't know but i was
19:01telling you everyone thinks they're a lawyer and unfortunately everyone thinks they know the law
19:05better than us you need to follow what we're saying with the writ if you don't it's interruption of
19:10our execution of a writ that's not very cool we've been given the decision by the court that's it we can't
19:15keep arguing at this point he's not paying and he's asked us to reduce it asked us for another payment
19:21arrangement however the facts on these was we were speaking to him in november we made an arrangement
19:26he paid a thousand pounds he then offered 250 a month it's now three months later they haven't
19:32called they haven't paid anything so at this point we act on that on behalf of the claimant and
19:36unfortunately now we need the payment in full please don't be harsh i'm not being harsh i'm trying to
19:40explain to you what's the lowest you can pay today all of it casey and alex want full payments or a
19:46locksmith will be called do you own this building or do you rent this building and they will take
19:50control of the premises you own this building so assets and the property can be seized and sold
19:57to settle the debt coming up fair time lucky david and sherry refuse to give in can you come to the
20:07door please don't sort this case out mark is seeing double i thought i was going blind i've also got
20:13another case for 95k wow he owes quite a bit of money and in birmingham pissing me off casey stands her
20:21ground don't touch me sir don't touch me i'm warning you now it's not private
20:25enforcement agents sherry and david have finally tracked down a man named on a high court writ
20:47got lots of final demand he's obviously disappeared for a reason who owes almost 12 000 pounds in rent from
20:55the previous property it's just a case of going around because there isn't a great deal of um
21:00goods here that are going to cover 12 000 pounds and the playstation but before any assets can be
21:08seized they will need to find proof that he is the owner we're not here to be mean people say we're
21:15mean but we're not we're just doing a job by listing all the property they believe they could seize
21:21believe in this notice so we'll put it somewhere where they're clearly going to see it tv they hope
21:27the man might be more willing to engage with them when they catch up with him again
21:30this is his office oh wait this one was an opening that's it casey and alex are trying to get a
21:46deposit back for a couple whose marriage was cancelled during the pandemic
21:53the thing is he owns the building he's just playing games
21:57the company director says he can't pay so the agents are looking for assets that could be seized
22:02and sold to help repay the debt any situation that we're in can change drastically within seconds it
22:08could be calm and all of a sudden irate every person that we attend has shock i'm not leaving
22:13the officer so it could just switch like a like a like a light switch that fast don't touch me sir
22:20don't touch me i'm warning you now this is not private this is buddy csn yeah you got my hand
22:25done it for me please yeah pissing me off here don't like don't make me call the police you are the
22:30problem you're sitting in my private office some people take umbrage to what we're doing um
22:39but a lot of the time it's it's a defense mechanism
22:41and if you can put bread on your plate i know you're stressed i know you're stressed so you kind of
22:47expect to come up against hostility these are private letters like i said you touched me against
22:55one more one more private letters they're not private they're for the company
22:59one more time and the police will be full okay and and that can be difficult to deal with sometimes
23:06they've basically stated that they're a starving company but if they've got buildings like this you
23:10kind of got to question it they're not gonna let me back in now that's not good this is why we
23:15don't ever leave your partner hello whilst casey struggles outside hello inside alex has made progress
23:25hey you all right is he paying um i believe he's just waiting for someone to get to transfer him a
23:31thousand is he i think so he's paying it all of it are they definitely sending it are they
23:35they haven't called him back yet after more than two hours the company accountants has raised the
23:45funds to settle the debt do you want me to write it down for you is if you transfer it just just um
23:53let us take a screenshot oh so uh long and short of it paid in full so i'm just gonna come get the
23:59receipt now 2048 and hence oh they didn't pay the pence but hey i'm not fussed about that but he always
24:09continued to ask for a bargain even but he got his 25 pence off in the end so you know that's all right
24:15at the end of the day we've got uh the money back for the claimant uh they'll be happy with that
24:20good job yeah case closed let's go enforcement agents sam and mark have been aggressively
24:34confronted by a man who they believe is named on a high court writ he owes over 85 000 pounds in
24:41unpaid rent on another property hello they've asked for police assistance but whilst they wait
24:47mark's made an eye-watering discovery chris i thought i was going blind the case i was given
24:53is for 85k all right i've also got another case for 95k i have just checked the claim numbers i assumed
25:01they were different and they paid some off they're two different cases mr bada alazimi has two outstanding
25:08high court writs in his name each for unpaid rent owed to two different landlords for two separate
25:16properties two different claimants yeah wow and he owes quite a bit of money
25:28oh yeah so this is the male in question it does look like the male upstairs
25:35he's reluctant to show any paperwork that he resides at the property he does look like a person even though
25:41he's shown evidence of another name
25:56hello police can you open the door please otherwise we will have to break it down now open the door
26:02door please please right thank you very much on the section 17 we're entering the property
26:09just hanging on kids
26:10i'm sure there isn't nothing
26:12i want to do things as far as jerking right
26:15there isn't nothing
26:17they climbed out the window possibly yeah
26:21mr alazimi has disappeared
26:25i'm an absolute shock
26:27i call them houdini's that's strange
26:34people disappearing yeah it happens all the time i've knocked on doors walked in and people are
26:38underneath the table or oh you look out the bathroom window and there they are hanging off the side of
26:43the wall
26:46mark and sam find lots of id in the flat all in the same name as the driving license mr alazimi showed them
26:54earlier mashari alanezzi what's the data from that and there's a striking resemblance between the two men
27:01the resemblance is
27:04you see what we're saying this is what i'm saying when i said the two ids looked similar
27:10yeah oh yeah my head hurts
27:15satisfied they have located mr alazimi mark the agents discovered documents to suggest
27:22he may have the cash to clear the debt 10 grand been sent and another 13 grand
27:31his name is it he's transferring funds
27:35sam yeah what you got have a look at that tell me what you think when the debtors do disappear and go
27:43to grounds that's when we speak to the family explain to them the severity of this explain the
27:49repercussions then the wires the mums the sons do speak to them and nine times out of ten they do
27:54engage with us did you manage to get a phone call a family member gets someone on the phone they're
28:00told is mr alazimi hi right you've got a high court writ sir and the outstanding amount was at eight 86
28:08thousand and 259 pounds and 70 pence okay and the monies need to be paid
28:16you're talking about 86 000 pounds okay the bad news is sir i have to say you've got two outstanding
28:22bets sam informs him that they're now aware he owes 180 000 pounds in unpaid rent put yourself in my
28:30sight so all the scenarios are nice of course it's not no i agree with you yeah
28:35hello you okay
28:43is he gonna pay mr alazimi agrees to make a payment of 1500 pounds in cash today yeah yeah no problem
28:50see it right now cheers bye but if no more payments are forthcoming mark has a backup plan downstairs an
28:58associate of mr alazimi showed him an insurance policy with a number of high value vehicles listed
29:05with mr alazimi named as the main driver we've got three cars they use including rolls royce 120k
29:13so we'll be looking for that as well mark has seen enough evidence to reasonably believe the cars
29:19could belong to mr alazimi if he can find them they could be seized and sold to repay the debt
29:26unless someone else can prove they own the vehicles
29:38fair time lucky in the residential suburbs of coventry sherry and david are paying another surprise
29:45visit to someone who owes almost 12 000 pounds to the owner of a property they rented in the past
29:51there's always a possibility that um he's going to come out with a weapon and start having a go at
29:58the van on their previous visit i am on high alert yeah a large axe was discovered by the police
30:06oh i'm nervous i don't want to be beheaded today
30:13this time they're waiting for the police to arrive before attempting to speak with the man again
30:18oh i wonder if they're coming for us yeah two oh game on
30:31oh hello morning the agents are keen to get the man's attention it's not left the keys in this year
30:39so they can discuss the debt i wonder if i took the horn that will make him come out
30:52the curtains are moving he's looking out the window can you come down
30:59can you come to the door please so we can sort this case out well he knows we're here
31:04someone's in there but it's just a waiting game now if you think somebody is pulling a fast one
31:15and they're playing the system and playing the game it comes down to who's going to back down first
31:21and it's very rarely in the enforcement agents i don't know why people just can't come down and talk
31:26about it coming up don't ignore me sherry flushes out her man he thinks he's above the law the cheek of
31:34that i'm back in west london sam sam sam agents clamp 75 000 pounds range over do you apologize i
31:42don't want to apologize i want my car right calm down don't play with me
31:55don't do this again don't do this again don't get in my face on their last visit enforcement agents
32:08mark and sam were confronted by a man who owes 180 000 pounds in unpaid rent to two different landlords
32:16have they climbed out the window possibly yeah before he disappeared mr alazimi tried to pass
32:23himself off as someone else my name is okay this one this one different to me eventually 1500 pounds
32:32was paid towards the debt but with no more payments made the agents have returned to try and find the
32:39high value vehicles that mr alazimi was insured on as the main driver have a look play hide and seek
32:47and try and find the car starting with a rolls-royce where the 120 000 pounds of course it's not going to
32:55jump out at us sam sam sam sam and a range rover valued at 75 000 pounds
33:08that's it that is it
33:11that is a nice car he's the only driver for his vehicle and it's free of finance for sure
33:26so we don't pay it's going
33:34as the agents try to raise mr alazimi someone else approaches them and claims he is the
33:41owner of the car the land rover why you do come but i would know why you can't call the vla don't
33:47tell me about call the diva link told him who don't keep the holder owner he told me my name that
33:51is my name let me say your name sorry yes thank you you're welcome you can take my oh thank you thank
33:55you the man shows sam a driving license in the name of mashari alanezi the person that mr alazimi had
34:04claimed to be when the agents last visited we've got your insurance documents that is not my
34:10problem we need to see if you don't have a cell yeah i i'll bring the record you've got the
34:15insurance and everything for that vehicle right you don't know no insurance in the car no nobody
34:19insurance that car nobody in insurance my car is not insurance there's a choice yeah you can check
34:24i've got i've checked i've got it no no no if you man check right take the account for my car please
34:28you said it's not short so it's not going anywhere so there's no use on carpet how did you purchase it
34:32buy cash 2018 cash that car's a nice car yeah it's worth a lot of money okay if you turn up to a car
34:38place with how much is it 100k cash who pays a car cash this is a situation yeah we have a high
34:44court writ for butter nasir alazimi you don't know him he says he doesn't know mr alazimi oh okay
34:54but when mr alazimi appears his story changes are your brothers then cousins cousins twist and
35:02turns here massively there's a lot going on isn't there yeah that is the line what you do your plot
35:08thickens you didn't know he used your idea the other day didn't you he was you he's trying to say
35:14he's as handsome as you he was saying that yeah you said he was you and mr alanezzi wants a turner
35:20trying to mislead the agents too the first time it's me when you come it's me that's him i show you
35:27first time where yeah i be i bring you the passport and i go inside you jump inside my home and i come
35:32back fight with you it's me these work you know okay you can check with me oh it's definitely him
35:38yeah it's definitely him believe me it's me it's me not you
35:45that's dangerous no believe me it's me no check the camera so so on camera now on my camera you're
35:51telling me you were the person who assaulted us sold out assaulted us assaulted you're the one
35:57on that foot assaulted yeah no did you assault this female yes or no so you weren't there in the flat
36:02were you so don't lie exactly this is why your integrity is non-existent his integrity is non-existent
36:08you keep swapping each other over mark asked the office to speak with the high court enforcement
36:14officer in charge they will not provide us the proof of payments
36:19where does it say the car where's the registration we don't know what car that's for
36:26he explains why he has reasonable belief that the car actually belongs to mr alazimi
36:32if you look at the insurance documents there is only one driver on this car and that is our
36:36defendant he is the only driver it says there uh there's four cars he's the main driver and all of
36:41them and only his wife can drive the other one and the high court enforcement officer agrees
36:47right i've received permission to lift this vehicle i'll uh i'll give you an eta soon as i know
36:52thank you so much thank you thank you bye with the green light to seize the 75 000
36:59pound vehicle if that's my car i'll put obstacles in a way mark explains the situation to mr alan ezi
37:07oh you want something from sherry yes or no the identification no no no no yes or no you want
37:13identification the identification you've given us i'm just telling you the identification you've given
37:17us yeah i told you it's my car what do you want from me why you want to take my car as mr alan ezi
37:22hasn't provided any documents that irrefutably prove he owns the vehicle they're not happy with the
37:28paperwork which may come we can tell from you i said my paperwork mark believes it to be mr alazimi's
37:34and will be towing it away today don't play with me
37:46100 miles away sherry and david are relentlessly trying to get a man who owes nearly 12 000 pounds to
37:52face up to his debt you want me to do a statement today double here for ages yeah
38:08daniel
38:13don't ignore me you see come out with a full balaclava
38:17oh he's called a taxi he's
38:24he's gone the cheek of that the defendant has just literally walked past the van in a balaclava and
38:32walked away and got picked up by another car they're not also not interested to pay this debt he just
38:38walked away for me it's just total arrogance it's like he stuck his fingers up at us and said well
38:44that's it now what you're gonna do i can't believe that there comes a time when you say right i've
38:52been here however many hours today i'll go home but i'll come back next week they have to pay their
39:00debts you know yeah i've come across some tricky characters but he is another very arrogant he's
39:08another level he thinks he's above the law he might have avoided paying his rent in the past but once
39:14enforcement agents with a high court writ have you in their sights they won't give up trying to find you
39:29boom as predicted agents mark and sam have taken control of a range rover they believe belongs to a
39:37mr alazimi who owes 180 000 pounds in unpaid rent on two different properties whoever parked that
39:47okay this is when it jumps from civil to criminal yeah because they're stopping enforcement to find
39:52them it's not to find them it's not a problem because the police will just get involved now get the
39:57station they get arrested debtors have a tactic as well and that is a delay tactic hoping that we will
40:03go away you do get them what the odd ones when you think right now they're not going to beat me here
40:11mr alan azzi who maintains he owns the car locks himself inside this is the situation when the
40:18police do get here we are going to physically remove the small car we're physically going to remove the
40:23other car and also we're going to state that you assaulted us last time and we'll be getting you
40:27arrested brilliant thank you
40:33please please last time we attended this address we got assaulted and the person who did it is also here
40:41now and what sort of vehicle is it it's a range rover recovery truck's turned up and we're going to
40:49start removing it and there will be a beach piece we'll get a unit out as soon as possible thank you
40:55ever so much okay all right thank you bye the men have refused to hand over the keys which will mean
41:01putting skates under the vehicle to get it out of the car park so what's the plan so you're going to use
41:08it your van has brakes got it it's good we're going to get in there we're getting there
41:12the police arrive but once again mr badda al azimi who owes the money disappears where's but where's
41:22but now he's disappeared he's run away leaving mr alan azzi who says he's his cousin to deal with the
41:29situation they go back they go to the court and they say that you've obstructed them which could
41:34potentially be a which could potentially be a criminal offense that's going to be far more trouble going
41:38and food okay okay let him go to the car but the car's going now believe me no though we go around
41:44in circles okay and apologize you've been dragged into this you apologize i don't want you apologize
41:48i want my car this is why the assets get held for seven days for cases like this in order to seize it
41:54agents must reasonably believe an asset belongs to a person named on a high court writ we've given all
42:01the paperwork of every single sheet you have given us to the office and they're more than happy to back up
42:07our decision to remove this seized property is not sold immediately this allows time for someone
42:20else to make a third party claim and provide sufficient evidence to prove they are the legitimate owner
42:27we're going to leave this to the courts so could you please hand over the keys so we can drive it out
42:33if you obstruct us this is when it drips at the criminal that's enough that's not what we can do
42:39people don't believe what we're saying sometimes they claim they know the law then they get the
42:43police involved the police turn around and saying no he is correct this is live you need to pay otherwise
42:49that's going
42:59we have just spoken to the person who's claimed this car is he's seen since he's going to hand
43:06the keys over to the recovery driver he's going to jump in it drive it out and we're going to load
43:10it on the wagon good result yeah i was in a lot of pushing
43:17after months of distress for the people owed the money it's safer like that on skates the agents may
43:23finally have found a way to recover some of the 180 000 pounds scratch
43:30full scratch i believe we did the right thing i believe that's his asset good luck
43:37he's handed over the keys but from the beginning to the end the web of lies was just never ending you
43:43know if that was spider-man he'd wrapped up the world by then
43:52that was job satisfaction to be fair
43:57mr alan as he did later challenge the removal of the vehicle in court
44:01a judge decided that the vehicle should be returned to
44:05mr alazimi declared himself bankrupt around the time the agents were pursuing him
44:10he still owes 180 000 pounds in unpaid rent
44:17next time here we go watch a back
44:20a face-off with protected parents
44:23i'm telling you yes you don't live here
44:25i don't care what you want
44:27peace off
44:27that escalated a bit quickly and alex and casey hit the jackpot
44:37we'll be looking at seizing the bentley in their pursuit to get people paid
44:41he knows who is his non-payment of wages i need a payment now
