00:00Anne's daughter. Now, you say that she is the main suspect. Why?
00:05Because she's got a reputation for robbing and she has a reputation for doing bad stuff.
00:10Come on! Come on!
00:11Yeah, she was a prostitute, yeah.
00:13Come on! The £500 you admitted to me in a party you took off your granda!
00:17We'll get to you in a minute, love.
00:18Do me a favour.
00:20Come on, big girl!
00:21We asked Louise, did you steal any money from the safe in your mum's house before she died?
00:25She said no. Why did you say no?
00:27I didn't do it.
00:28Really? Really?
00:30You knocked me down the stairs, Keefe. I lost a baby to you.
00:34He's a man who was so awful, he put you off men and you consider becoming a lesbian. Fact or not?
00:40Fact.
00:41Why'd you have sex with him two weeks ago?
00:44What would it mean to her and you if you are her biological father?
00:48How the Lord.
00:49Your mother says there is a no percent chance that this guy is your father.
00:54The DNA test is not to show that Patrick, Patrick, Patrick, Patrick, Patrick...
00:58APPLAUSE
00:58Good morning, guys.
01:11CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
01:12Thank you very much indeed. Good morning, as ever.
01:17A big, big welcome to the show.
01:19My first guest today, Becky, is here because two years ago her grandmother, Margaret, had over £1,000, £1,000 stolen from a safe in her home.
01:28Now, sadly, Margaret recently passed away and to make things even worse, this lady went to her grave suspecting the thief was in her own family.
01:35Now, Becky is determined to discover the truth and expose the thief and has brought the person she suspects, check this, Margaret's own daughter, Louise, here today to face a lie detector.
01:46This is high emotion.
01:47Becky, first on the Jeremy Kyle Show.
01:50APPLAUSE
01:51Yeah, you've got the look of somebody who really would rather be somewhere else, and I appreciate absolutely how difficult it is for you.
02:03I read this this morning, I thought, my goodness.
02:07Your grandmother, Margaret, who sadly died nearly three months ago, and I'm sorry about that.
02:14Let's talk about the theft and what happened. It was two years ago, right?
02:17Roughly, yeah. It might have been like a year and a half ago. I don't know the exact date.
02:21Tell me what happened, what you know.
02:23What I know is there were like a grand in my uncle's safe in my grandma's house, and my auntie went down, and the money just disappeared, but in instalments, and obviously everyone's accusing my auntie, so...
02:36Now, your auntie is Louise, your nan's daughter. Now, you say that she is the main suspect. Why?
02:44Because she's got a reputation for robbing, and she has got a reputation for doing bad stuff.
02:50What bad stuff?
02:51She's an ex-heroine user, isn't she?
02:53Yeah, she's an ex-heroine user, yeah. She has done a detox and come clean, and she has reformed us, and...
02:58But she has got problems with robbing before.
03:02So she's got a history of stealing.
03:05She's had a heroin addiction that you say she's beaten, but you don't know whether she's back on.
03:09I've also read that she was a prostitute.
03:13You what? You what, Becky? Come on, I only looked at £500.
03:16So you told my team?
03:18It's not good coming out of here.
03:19Come on! Come on!
03:21Yeah, she was a prostitute, yeah.
03:22Come on, £500 you admitted to me in my party, you took off your granddad!
03:26We'll get to you in a minute, love.
03:27Do me a...
03:28Do me a favour.
03:29Come on, big girl!
03:30Big accusation. I understand completely how you must feel. This was your nan.
03:34What if you are completely wrong?
03:36Then I will apologise to her, and obviously it's not me auntie, then it'll be someone else.
03:40So I'll look into it further.
03:41However, if you flip it, as you should do on this show,
03:45one of the days that some of the money went missing, she had about...
03:48She spent quite a lot of money, didn't she?
03:50From what I got told, she spent £200 on alcohol, and...
03:53What you were told?
03:55I got told, yeah, cos I went on the scene at times, cos I didn't mean close to family at times.
03:59You say her morality and yours would be that far apart, you wouldn't even recognise her.
04:05You say that she turned up at her own mother's funeral drunk.
04:08Yeah, she didn't sleep night before, so, yeah.
04:11Harry is Louise's brother, your uncle.
04:15Yeah.
04:15He says,
04:16I know for a fact that it was Louise who stole the money.
04:19She's been stealing from this family for 20 years,
04:21and I promise you, if she fails the test, she will be disowned for good.
04:27That is the plan, yeah, I think, from my uncle's point of view.
04:32The family say we will legally divorce her and she'll be banned from her own mother's grave.
04:37Yeah, that's what...
04:37She says, I will pass this lie detector 100%.
04:41Shall we bring her out?
04:42Yeah.
04:43Louise is on the Jeremy Kyle show that way.
04:50Welcome to the show.
04:54You had a lot to say backstage and you walked out here.
04:57Can I just say, in your defence, well, not your defence,
04:59I'm just going to put the facts in front of you.
05:01On national television, without you having a chance to open your mouth,
05:04you've been called an ex-heroine addict, a prostitute, and a tea leaf.
05:07Yeah, we used to be an ex-heroine addict, I admit that,
05:09but I've never been a prostitute.
05:10I used to go down on the beat with my friend
05:12to watch who she was getting in the car with,
05:15to feed my habit.
05:16That's what I was doing.
05:17I wasn't working myself.
05:19And that, and yeah...
05:20How long have you been clear of heroin?
05:21Erm, I did my last detox on the 29th October last year,
05:25just before I lost my mum in November.
05:28Erm, you say that this family have turned against you
05:31and made an absolutely outrageous accusation.
05:34You lost your mum.
05:35You blame her from keeping you away from your mum.
05:37I don't blame anybody, but, like,
05:39my brother barred me,
05:41but then this £1,000 went missing,
05:42but she hasn't told you,
05:44well, in the proceeds of losing my mum,
05:46we was under the influence of drink at my house
05:48before I went to hospital one night, Becky,
05:50and do not lie because Joe's going to call you a liar.
05:52She admitted to stealing £500 off my dad
05:55three weeks to five weeks before my dad died.
05:58Is that true?
05:59I want to lie detector.
06:00It wasn't £500, no, it was £20,
06:02and my mum can't say that.
06:04You stole money off your dad?
06:05Off my...
06:06Off my dad before he died.
06:07You stole money off your grandad?
06:08Yeah, but I confessed to it.
06:09I didn't come...
06:10You aunt told your uncle, though, Becky.
06:12Your uncle...
06:12So you've got form as well,
06:13so why on earth wouldn't I believe
06:14that you might have nicked the money
06:15in trying to frame her?
06:16Because I went on scene when he got robbed.
06:18I went busy.
06:19But it's a bit different.
06:21You come out here pious
06:22and quite high and mighty
06:23saying she's an ex this, she's an ex that,
06:25and you've gone very quiet.
06:27You've stolen as well.
06:28Yeah, I've admitted I'm no angel.
06:30I've...
06:30I have got a past,
06:31but I'm not here for that.
06:32I'm here for my grandma.
06:33I promise my grandma I will sort it out.
06:34Why did you make a scene at the funeral?
06:35Apparently you stole a phone,
06:36got drunk, were stoned, and everything.
06:38No, never.
06:39I stopped up the night before
06:40with my nephew when he stopped at my house.
06:42We had a drink, and I were emotional.
06:43And if I were that drunk,
06:45how would I have been able
06:46to put my mum's ashes into the ground with my dad?
06:49Talk to each other, darling.
06:50You've gone very quiet.
06:52You're making the accusation.
06:53Who put my mum's ashes into the ground, Rebecca?
06:55You know.
06:56No, who put them in?
06:58Me, your Uncle Stephen will tell you that.
07:00I put it in
07:00because as my mum's ashes got so far down into the ground,
07:03it felt like to me,
07:05my mum says,
07:05look, just let me go.
07:06I want to be with my husband,
07:08the place I belong.
07:09And it just slid out my hand.
07:11Yes, I admit,
07:11I had a drink,
07:12and I was very emotional,
07:13like I've just been crying backstage
07:14before I come in.
07:15I am upset.
07:16My mum,
07:16it's been three weeks,
07:17three months today,
07:18and I watched my mum take her last breath.
07:20I watched my dad die.
07:21It's not a good thing.
07:22Is she, mum?
07:24Yeah, God bless her.
07:26Do you steal that money?
07:27No one ever, Jeremy.
07:29I have nothing to do with that.
07:30Um, this is very interesting for me.
07:32You've gone very, very quiet, love, haven't you?
07:34Who's Brian?
07:34It's a boyfriend
07:35who's never been involved in my mum's life.
07:37He's never met her.
07:38He don't know none of my family,
07:40only her sister,
07:41so I don't want him on this stage.
07:42It's my show.
07:43He has to come out.
07:44Brian's on the Jeremy Kyle show.
07:45Anyway, he's got my window.
07:47He's got my window.
07:48He's got my window.
07:48You know where he comes to here?
07:50He's got my window.
07:51You broke her window?
07:52Yeah, you did.
07:53When you broke my window, didn't you, Brian?
07:55When you went for her.
07:56No, that's not to do with this, though.
07:58So you broke her window?
07:59You had no involvement in my mum.
08:01You've never met my mum.
08:02You've never met my brother.
08:04You've come on here.
08:05You've never met the mother?
08:06You've come on here to be on national TV, Brian.
08:09Why are you here if you've never met the mother?
08:11Come on.
08:11Come on.
08:12Really, very nice.
08:13Did you put a brick through a window?
08:14No, I didn't.
08:14Yeah, you did put a brick through my window,
08:16so I didn't have salpures quick.
08:18One pane of glass went through my window, Brian.
08:20I had salpures.
08:21I love this from you.
08:22I press charges and I dropped it.
08:24I love this.
08:25This is a quote from you.
08:26Louise has previous in this type of thing.
08:29It's not me.
08:30That's what you said.
08:31Louise has a previous in this type of thing.
08:33She's done it before, yeah?
08:34Done what?
08:35Stolen.
08:37Well.
08:37What about your girlfriend?
08:38She's stolen as well off her own grandad.
08:40Well, she hasn't told me this, has she?
08:42Oh, right.
08:42So you're a really reliable witness.
08:44You are, aren't you?
08:46What's the point of being here?
08:47You've never met the nan.
08:48You don't actually know the truth about your girlfriend.
08:49And allegedly or not,
08:51you might have put a brick through her window.
08:52Why are you here?
08:52I didn't put a brick through her window.
08:53Why are you here?
08:54To support her.
08:55What have you got to say that can possibly support her
08:57when you don't know her grandmother,
08:58you didn't know that she's a tea leaf
08:59and actually you're talking rubbish about her.
09:01How can you defend her?
09:02Explain that to me.
09:03Mum is in the point?
09:05And you, I mean, no, it's you.
09:07How can he defend you?
09:08He doesn't even know your nan.
09:10He's never met my nan.
09:11I've only been with your mate at the moment,
09:12so it's still new,
09:12but he's here to support me.
09:14How can you support her?
09:15Well, tell me how you're going to...
09:15All right, nobody said a word.
09:16How are you going to support her?
09:17Well, I can't, can I?
09:19Obviously.
09:19Brilliant.
09:20So there's no point in you being here?
09:21Well...
09:22Goodbye.
09:22Go off the stage.
09:23I don't want you here.
09:24You don't want me here?
09:24No, I don't want you here.
09:25It's no to do with you.
09:26This is involving my mum.
09:27I like it.
09:28And not you.
09:29So walk off, mate, please,
09:30or I'll walk off and have a scene.
09:32Get off the stage.
09:33I don't want you...
09:34It's no to do with you.
09:35It's my mum.
09:36You're all just...
09:37Beef and a smacker.
09:38Can I, can I...
09:39Is it all right if I can go to a break now
09:41and then do the results afterwards?
09:42Is that all right?
09:42Yeah, it's fine, Jeremy.
09:43Do you want me to do that
09:44or do you want to do that?
09:45What? Do what?
09:46No, I'll do it.
09:46Do you want to just say,
09:47just say, after the break,
09:49lie detector results?
09:50After the break,
09:50lie detector results.
09:51Thank you very much, Luda.
09:53We asked Louise,
09:54did you steal any money
09:55from the safe in your mum's house
09:57before she died?
09:58She said no.
09:58Why did you say no?
09:59Tell him to it.
10:00Really?
10:01Really?
10:02You told my team
10:03that you fell down the stairs.
10:04No, I didn't fall down the stairs.
10:05He punched me down the stairs.

10:38That address is itv.com.
10:40It's forward slash Jeremy Kyle.
10:43Thank you very much for doing.
10:49Welcome back before the break.
10:50I was talking to Becky and Louise.
10:52Can I carry on?
10:53Yeah.
10:53Nobody's ever thrown anybody
10:55off my stage
10:56in place of me.
10:56Fair play.
10:57On a serious note.
10:59The accusation was
11:00that your nan, sadly,
11:02who died three months ago,
11:03your mum, your nan,
11:05had £1,000 in sort of instalments
11:07taken from her safe
11:10in her house.
11:11She went to a grave
11:12not knowing
11:12but believing
11:13that somebody close to
11:14in the family.
11:15You came here, Becky,
11:16and I have to say this
11:16and you won't like this.
11:17I swear on my life,
11:18I have no idea
11:19what that says.
11:20But if I look at her,
11:22I might buy her story.
11:26I don't know
11:26what the audience think.
11:29But she's got past history.
11:33How do we know
11:34you're not back on the gear
11:35and owing a dealer
11:35some money?
11:36And that was the easy way out.
11:38Not a chance
11:38I'd go back on that, mate.
11:39I've lost too much.
11:40I've just lost a daughter
11:40eight weeks before adoption.
11:41They say, and I quote,
11:43they will ban you
11:43from your mother's grave.
11:45I don't think they will, mate.
11:46No one will ban me
11:47from taking me away.
11:48My mum's been took away
11:49from me
11:49and no one will
11:50take that away from me.
11:50I will go to that grave
11:51whenever I want.
11:52No one will ever stop me, mate.
11:54Do you believe that
11:54there's jealousy towards you,
11:56which is why
11:57these accusations were made?
11:58Yeah.
11:58What?
12:00Because I used to get phone calls
12:02to go down to my mum's
12:03to clean up
12:04and my brother or my mum
12:05would give me £10
12:06and I think it come to that
12:08as well because
12:09if she didn't get the phone call
12:11it would be jealousy
12:11because I would get money in.
12:12Did you steal the money?
12:13No, I never.
12:14Do you believe she steal the money?
12:15I don't want to believe it
12:16but obviously she's in the frame
12:17and I just want to clear her name
12:18and find out who found the death.
12:19You told my team
12:19I'm 80% sure
12:21that Louise stole the money.
12:22That's what you said, right?
12:23Are you backtracking
12:24like your boyfriend?
12:26No, I might be certain
12:26it's Louise
12:27because she's got a reputation.
12:29Simple.
12:32We asked Louise
12:32did you steal any money
12:33from the safe
12:34in your mum's house
12:35before she died?
12:36She said no.
12:36Why did you say no?
12:37Telling to it.
12:38Really?
12:39Yeah.
12:39She was telling the truth.
12:40Oh, there you go!
12:43There you go!
12:44Thank you!
12:46Thank you!
12:47And then,
12:47just to make sure
12:49she wasn't involved in it
12:50and she knew,
12:51we say
12:51do you know for sure
12:52who stole the money
12:53from the safe
12:54in your mum's house
12:54before she died?
12:55She said no.
12:56Do you know what I've learnt
12:57on this show
12:57is not to judge.
12:59She was telling the truth
13:00throughout the whole show.
13:01Thank you!
13:02Well, I am sorry.
13:04But I haven't come on
13:05here from the wrong mouth.
13:06Well, I have to give you
13:07the power of the truth, Becky.
13:08It's my mum at the end
13:09that they...
13:10..kills me.
13:11And no, I won't go back
13:13to heroin.
13:13You want to talk
13:15to your little crackhead boyfriend
13:16in there?
13:17That's all you want to talk.
13:18Someone who you brought on here
13:19who's a crackhead
13:20who's smashed your house up.
13:22And you've gone from
13:23worst to worst, Becky.
13:24You're a crackhead.
13:26You takes me a couple of weeks
13:27ago to ask for amphetamines.
13:30What the **** are you doing?
13:32I have said sorry.
13:32It's going to take a lot
13:34for me to forgive you.
13:36Because...
13:37I will try and make it
13:37up to your blue.
13:38Anyway, I don't want
13:39Bright in my life.
13:39Don't talk about him.
13:40Oi.
13:41He's a waste of space.
13:41Pleased you came?
13:43Yeah, I am, mate.
13:43So I'm proven innocent.
13:45Mate, listen,
13:45you surprised me.
13:47I told you.
13:47I know I were.
13:48I was telling the truth
13:49right from the start, mate.
13:51The one thing I will say,
13:52seriously,
13:53she...
13:54Is a million...
13:55God rest his soul,
13:56would have wanted this sorted.
13:57She'll be happy now, yeah.
13:58She would have wanted this sorted.
14:00Wouldn't she?
14:01No?
14:01Yeah.
14:02But I would just...
14:03Jedet, your mum
14:04would have wanted this sorted.
14:05That's what you want to work on.
14:06Yeah.
14:06Blood's thicker than water, isn't it?
14:07Blood's thicker than water, I mean.
14:08Yeah, and my blood's thicker,
14:09a lot thicker than you are to my mum.
14:12Can you at least...
14:13I'm a daughter.
14:14Can you at least...
14:15Can you at least put aside
14:16the accusations and the jealousy
14:18and try and make this work
14:19for your mum's memory?
14:20I love her to bits, Jeremy.
14:21I love her to bits.
14:22Can you at least agree to talk
14:24for the sake of the memory of your mum?
14:26Yes?
14:26Yeah, I'm willing to.
14:27We'll do it backstage.
14:28I admire you for coming here
14:29because I have learnt this over nine years.
14:32People will go,
14:32oh, ex-Haren had it,
14:33she's done this, she's done that,
14:34and you came out...
14:35Have you said sorry?
14:37Yeah, absolutely.
14:37That's the first thing I've said.
14:38I apologise.
14:39Why don't you go that way together,
14:41right, as auntie and niece,
14:43and sit with Graham and have a chat
14:44and try and work out some common ground,
14:46all right?
14:46Give a round of applause.
14:47Thanks for coming on, Graham.
14:51Good luck to them.
14:52I hope they can sort it.
14:53Right, moving on.
14:53My next guest today, Laura,
14:54tells us she is desperate
14:55to divorce her husband, Keith.
14:57She hopes that by proving,
14:59check this,
14:59he's not the father
15:00to their five-month-old baby,
15:02he will finally get the message
15:03and accept their marriage is over.
15:05Now, let's bear in mind,
15:07this is a man,
15:08she claims punched her in the face
15:10and caused her to have a miscarriage.
15:12Laura is on the Jeremy Kyle show.
15:19Hello.
15:20Hi, Jamie.
15:21Are you all right?
15:21Yeah, fine.
15:22Thanks very much, Steve, for coming on.
15:23As ever,
15:24just really,
15:25I want to get the main information about people.
15:28You and Keith are married for eight years,
15:31split for the last two,
15:33two kids.
15:33Thomas, three,
15:35no concerns,
15:36but Joshua, five months,
15:37is on whom we're doing the DNA.
15:39You say,
15:40I know 100%
15:41that Keith isn't the dad
15:42to our youngest child, Joshua.
15:43Why would that be, love?
15:44Because you were married to him.
15:45You're having sex with other people?
15:46What?
15:46No, I was sleeping with someone else.
15:50It was friends with benefits at the time.
15:53We weren't together, though.
15:55We weren't sleeping together.
15:56You and Keith have been apart for two years,
15:58so that's fine.
15:59You say, actually,
16:00the dates don't add up
16:01and I don't want him to be the dad,
16:03but he still loves you, you say.
16:05He's still wanting to control you
16:06and so sees this as a way to get back in.
16:08Yeah, that is correct.
16:10He's been harassing me,
16:11wanting me back,
16:13saying that we should give it another go
16:15for the kids' sake.
16:16Let's talk about the relationship
16:17because you said quite a lot to my team
16:19about what it was like.
16:20It wasn't great.
16:21No, it wasn't great at all.
16:23He was abusive,
16:24violent, controlling.
16:26He had control of all the money.
16:28I wasn't allowed to, you know,
16:30like, he'd go out at weekends
16:31with his friends
16:33and when it was like,
16:34oh, I want to go out this weekend,
16:35it was, oh, no, we can't do that
16:37because we need the money for this,
16:38we need the money for that.
16:39Did you feel pressuring to make...
16:41I did feel very pressured.
16:42You told my team that
16:43you fell down the stairs.
16:45No, I didn't fall down the stairs.
16:46He punched me down the stairs.
16:48I fell down the stairs.
16:51I went to the doctors
16:52in pain with my back, my stomach.
16:55We didn't know I was pregnant at the time.
16:57I went to the doctors and he said,
16:58you do know you've just lost a baby.
17:01He was quite,
17:02and I don't want to be rude here
17:03and if you don't want to talk about it,
17:04but you also made quite a lot to the team
17:06about he was quite forceful
17:08when it came to intimacy.
17:10Yeah.
17:11Apparently,
17:12making a woman bleed,
17:13having sex is good sex,
17:15according to him,
17:17and I was in pain for three days after.
17:20You said something
17:21that I really identified with
17:22in terms of people I've met in nine years.
17:24You said,
17:25so abusive was this relationship,
17:27not just physically but mentally,
17:28that actually I lost faith in men.
17:30I have lost faith in men.
17:32I can't have a relationship with men now.
17:34I can't trust them.
17:36I can't physically love anybody else
17:38because of what he's done.
17:39I just can't do it.
17:40So today is about,
17:42please God in your mind,
17:43proving that this child,
17:45Joshua,
17:45is not his,
17:46getting some closure,
17:47telling this guy,
17:48I don't love you anymore,
17:49right?
17:49I don't want to be with you,
17:50right?
17:52I want to get on with my life,
17:54be a dad to Thomas,
17:55goodnight Vienna,
17:56yeah?
17:56Yeah.
17:57Right, after the break,
17:58we're going to hear Keith's point of view.
17:59I will give you those all-important DNA tests.
18:01Just out of interest from your point of view,
18:03he absolutely denies any violence to you.
18:05Look at me.
18:06Sorry.
18:07He denies violence to you.
18:08Do you know that?
18:09Yeah, I know you won't.
18:10And he says that the interesting thing about you is
18:12that you're the liar
18:13because for months you've told him
18:14that he is the father.
18:16And there's another bombshell
18:17that he wants to admit to when he comes out.
18:19I'm back after this break.
18:21That's horrible.
18:26Jessica and Rhiannon
18:27went to the same school.
18:29His partner went to pick up their daughter from school
18:33and picked up Rhiannon by mistake
18:35because they look so similar.
18:37That's true, isn't it?
18:38That's right.
18:39Your mother says there is a no-percent chance
18:41that this guy is your father.
18:48Thank you, my friends.
18:49Welcome back.
18:50Before that break, talking to Laura,
18:51you paint a pretty desperate picture
18:53of this relationship,
18:54married for eight years to Keith.
18:56Split for the last two.
18:57Two kids.
18:58Thomas, three.
18:59No problems there.
18:59Joshua, five months.
19:00You say, I know he's not the dad.
19:02I don't want him to be the dad.
19:03He was a controlling, manipulative, violent bully.
19:06I want him done.
19:07I know he still loves me.
19:08I'm not interested.
19:09I've been turned off men.
19:10I don't have faith in the male race anymore.
19:12I just want him to get the message.
19:14He denies the violence.
19:16Yeah, well, he's the one that's a liar
19:18because the amount of times I've been on the phone to my mum,
19:22crying my eyes out because of what he's done.
19:24Let's just check with your mum who's in the audience.
19:26Debbie, welcome to the show.
19:28You say he is violent.
19:30He is manipulative.
19:32He was violent in the early years.
19:35He promised to control that by stopping drinking,
19:39but he's always been manipulative,
19:42and that's never true.
19:42You told my team that he would lock your daughter
19:44in a room in the dark and go out
19:45knowing that she was scared of the dark
19:47with no electricity.
19:48Is that right?
19:48Yes, he did do that.
19:50And you stayed with this guy?
19:52Yeah.
19:53Right, Keith on the Jeremy Kyle show,
19:55coming that way.
19:58Keith, welcome to the show.
20:06How dare you sit there and lie,
20:09telling them that you weren't violent?
20:10Yes, you was.
20:12Do you want to tell something then, yeah?
20:13How can I?
20:14No, no, no, no.
20:15You knocked me down the stairs, Keith.
20:17I lost a baby to you.
20:19We were told that by the doctor.
20:21Is that true, Keith?
20:21How dare you say that I'm lying?
20:23She fell down the stairs.
20:24She didn't get pushed down the stairs.
20:25No, he punched me down the stairs.
20:27Have you ever been violent to her, Keith?
20:28I got aggressive, yes.
20:29Yeah?
20:30Yeah.
20:30You say, I want to find out if I'm a dad to Joshua.
20:33She, Laura, told me, for three months that I was the dad.
20:37Get your hand away from your mouth and speak,
20:39because this is a big day for you.
20:40Did she tell you that you were the father?
20:41Yeah.
20:42Did you?
20:43I did at the beginning, yeah.
20:45Didn't you do the pregnancy test together?
20:47We did the pregnancy test together.
20:49In Sainsbury's.
20:50Because I'm really trying to control myself because I have the greatest sympathy for you if he is a thug,
20:55but there's something in my head that just won't go away.
20:57Massive thing.
20:58Keeps going, say it, say it.
21:00Is he a controlling, manipulative bully?
21:02Don't say a word, yeah?
21:03Yes, he is.
21:03He's a man who threw you down the stairs.
21:05He's a man, and I quote, who was so awful, he put you off men and you consider becoming a lesbian.
21:12Fact or not?
21:13Fact.
21:13Why'd you have sex with him two weeks ago?
21:16I haven't had sex with him two weeks ago.
21:18Liar.
21:19So, when you went and, did you come across and get a birth certificate after me?
21:22Two weeks ago.
21:23Yeah, I did.
21:23Right, did I have sex with you?
21:25No, you did not.
21:26Did I have sex with you?
21:27No, you did not.
21:28Did I have sex with you?
21:28No, you did not.
21:29How many times are you going to ask me the same question?
21:31Because you're lying.
21:31I'll do a lie detector.
21:32Do it.
21:33Swear on Joshua's life.
21:34That was the last time he had sex with him.
21:36When he was moving out of his house.
21:38Liar.
21:39Tell me the truth.
21:40I took you to, you come over to mine, you're the weak,
21:42and I ripped your underwear off and we had sex in the bedroom.
21:46I don't like the way you said that,
21:48because that rather sticks up for what she said about you thinking it's all right to be aggressive sexually with women.
21:53I don't mind if you did.
21:55I'm trying to make a point.
21:56Look at me.
21:57You did have sex with him, didn't you, two weeks ago?
21:59I swear I did not have sex with him two weeks ago.
22:02Your behaviour towards her has been wrong.
22:04Do you not understand that?
22:05When he was moving house.
22:06It was wrong in the early years, like Debbie mentioned.
22:09It's quite interesting that the mum only said the early years.
22:12So you saw a change in him, right?
22:16I didn't, I only saw a change in him where the violence was concerned, but the rest of it never went away.
22:22Keith says, um, I don't really know why we split.
22:25You still love her, right?
22:27Deep in my heart, yeah.
22:28Why has it got to this, then, people?
22:33Don't know.
22:34Who's Mark?
22:35My brother.
22:37Do you get on with Mark?
22:39Not really.
22:39No, because he's always at my family.
22:42It's my mother this, your brother that.
22:45Your brother can't get, needs to get a life and get off the cannabis, because he smokes cannabis.
22:50He needs to do this, he needs to do that.
22:52What about you, Keith?
22:53Why can't you get off your backside and get a job and change your life?
22:58I can get a job.
22:59Do you go to work?
22:59Do you go to work?
23:00I turned down.
23:01Truth is, you're on the dole and you play the Xbox every day.
23:03So what, right, do you have a go at anybody else?
23:05I turned down two days' work off an agency to come here.
23:09Oh, right, that's, is that your line, is it?
23:11What about the last eight years, then?
23:13Why haven't you worked the last eight years?
23:14Do you want my CV?
23:15Have you worked?
23:16No.
23:17Why's that?
23:17Because I'm finding a hug.
23:18Because he told me he just wanted a job.
23:19But you managed to get two days' work after eight years on the two days you come to the Jeremy Kyle show, yeah?
23:23He told me he didn't want a job.
23:24It's a bit rich, isn't it?
23:252,655 days and you picked the two that we drove you from your Xbox up to Manchester.
23:32You didn't pull me off of it.
23:33You're not knackered, are you?
23:34No, not really.
23:34Why don't you go and get a job eight years ago when you started creating life with this lady?
23:38Because they've been travelling around the country?
23:40What?
23:40Because they've been travelling around the country?
23:43I've moved from Birmingham to Nuneaton to Bridlington.
23:44People move all the time, my friend.
23:46They still go and try and do what they can for their families.
23:48People out here are looking.
23:50I worked when I was living in Bridlington.
23:52You're 39.
23:53When was the last time you worked?
23:552010.
23:57You told my team.
23:59Right, isn't this brilliant?
24:00You got some compensation money.
24:01It doesn't matter how you got that, right?
24:03And some inheritance money.
24:04Isn't the truth that you haven't worked because you just sponged off her?
24:07I didn't sponge off her at all.
24:08You liar!
24:09You spent that money, Keith, on crap!
24:12So you didn't go to Egypt?
24:13How much?
24:14Yeah, we went on holiday, so what?
24:16How much did you spend?
24:18It's about, uh, just over 12 and a half grand.
24:22I don't have spent 12 and a half grand.
24:24You are so f***ing...
24:25You admitted to my team you had control over the money, didn't you?
24:30You took all your friends out for meals and that, leaving me at home when I went and spent stuff in the shop.
24:37You phoned me in front of my mother and said,
24:39Oh, don't stop, uh, don't start spending the money because we're running out.
24:44Is that true?
24:45Because you were spending it all.
24:46See, I'm buying her more and more.
24:48What's your brother called?
24:49Mark.
24:49He smokes cannabis.
24:51You play your Xbox.
24:52This is Great Britain in 2014.
24:54Mark's on the Jeremy Kyle Show.
24:55We're not talking about other people, we're talking about you.
25:24What sort of, uh, what sort of involvement do you have with Thomas, by the way?
25:27I see him once a four night.
25:29Once a four night?
25:29Do you provide financially?
25:30Oh, no, because you're too busy playing your Xbox.
25:32Welcome to the show.
25:33Hi there.
25:33You're a dope head, apparently, according to him.
25:35Um, I smoke it now and again, yes.
25:37Do you go to work?
25:38Um, no, but I have worked.
25:40Brilliant.
25:41How do you buy your, oh, God, here we go.
25:42I can feel it inside myself again.
25:43How do you buy your dope?
25:45Uh, through government.
25:46Your doll money.
25:47Yes.
25:48Through your doll money.
25:49So, we're not turned up to yours last Friday.
25:51Sorry, can I?
25:52No.
25:52And, what happened?
25:54Oh, knock, knock, knock.
25:55Drug dealer, come to your door.
25:56So what?
25:57So you get your money every week, you better don't with it, yeah?
26:01What has that got to do there with you and your son?
26:03What has it got to do with being on here?
26:05He's got nothing to do with it.
26:05He's there because he knows what you're like.
26:07I'm here to support my sister, he's from a big bully, a thug.
26:11Right, yeah.
26:11Have you ever seen any of these guys?
26:12Have you ever seen any of these guys?
26:13Yeah.
26:13I don't put pictures on Facebook that I've just been beaten up.
26:17And it's a little scratch.
26:18No, I don't care.
26:18Yeah, he was at the engagement party when you kicked off to Nita Rambo.
26:22And you were too busy having to talk about three of your friends to pin you down, you idiot.
26:26You told my team, Martha, just two weeks after they got together, your sister phoned you in floods of tears from a bathroom because he'd beaten her up.
26:33Is that right?
26:34Yes.
26:35You seem to look surprised.
26:37It was...
26:37I call it.
26:38So are you denying that you didn't beat me up?
26:41The amount of times you pinned me against the wall by my crates?
26:42Are you denying it?
26:43Go on.
26:44I've never pinned you to a wall.
26:46Yes, you have.
26:46You punched me down the stairs, Keith.
26:49You pinned me against the wall.
26:50You slapped me across the face.
26:52What is locking you in a...
26:53You pulled me...
26:54Pushed me against the wall.
26:56Oh, you're so desperate for this DNA to say that this man is not the father of your baby.
27:01He's not the father to my child.
27:04I really hope he ain't.
27:04And do you think you'll get the...
27:05You still love her.
27:06Do you think you'll get the message then that she doesn't want anything to do with you?
27:09I want him to back off and leave my family alone because I'm sick of listening to Mark this, your mum this, Mark this.
27:15What the hell have they got to do with your kid?
27:17Do you think your sister's still sleeping with him, though?
27:19Oh, I don't know.
27:19No, I don't know.
27:20I wouldn't go near him.
27:22She despises him.
27:23The thing is, you are lying to a degree, aren't you?
27:26Because we're doing a DNA test on a five-month-old baby, and five months plus nine months is 14 months, which means even if there's a chance that I haven't finished yet, even if there is a chance that he's the father, you were sleeping with him after you split up with him.
27:40Yeah.
27:41At Christmas, I slept with him the once at Christmas.
27:45What, this Christmas?
27:46Last Christmas.
27:47Last Christmas, and then we slept together again.
27:49Why would you sleep with the man who controls you and throws you down the stairs and says, and I'm sorry to have to bring this up.
27:53I said no.
27:55No, actually, at Christmas, sorry, that was before.
27:57You told my team, I was horny, he was there, I just had sex with him.
28:00Yeah, I was horny, he was there, we are still legally married.
28:04Wow, that's...
28:05You were horny and he was there?
28:07Yeah, I was horny.
28:09I was horny and he was there.
28:10All right, could you stop saying horny?
28:11He was there, I am still legally married, so I thought, yeah, why not?
28:17Yeah, but you've got to take some responsibility, taking away your word.
28:20I do take responsibility.
28:20And the fact is, if I buy a lot of what you say, that he's slightly controlling and a bit manipulative and all of those things, which I do believe you, I've listened to your brother, I've listened to your mother, you sort of lose some semblance of your argument when you go, I was horny, it was Christmas Day, he was there.
28:37Because if you know, all right, obviously there was nobody else there, that's any reason you got laid, but the truth of the matter is, the truth of the matter is, if he is those things that you say, and you made some pretty strong accusations, sweetheart, about him, physically, you shouldn't go near him at all.
29:00That's what I'm trying to say seriously, do you understand that?
29:02Yeah, I do.
29:03You don't believe he's the child's father?
29:05No, not at all.
29:06Do you believe you're the child's father?
29:07He doesn't look nothing like him.
29:09It makes no difference.
29:10Well, that's something to do with it, obviously, if they look somewhat like you, but maybe, let's just do the results, I think that'd be lovely, wouldn't it?
29:17If he isn't, his child, five-month-old Joshua, do you want Joshua to be your son?
29:28I'd like him to be, yeah, I'd like to be a dad to him, yeah.
29:31You'd like him to be your son because you'd like him to be your son, or because that would give you a way back in with Laura?
29:39Regardless of that, I want to be a father to the child.
29:42You need to go to work if you're a father, though, don't you?
29:44Laura?
29:44We're going to work.
29:45Can I just ask you, I am 100% sure that Keith is not the dad to our youngest child, Joshua.
29:49Can I just say something?
29:50No, you can't.
29:51It's called the Jeremy Cowell Show.
29:52Shut up.
29:52I asked her a question.
29:53Why are you 100% sure?
29:55Because, er, Keith's not got very good swimmers.
29:59It's just come out and it's out of five in blanks.
30:04Keith, what did you want to say?
30:06Where's the other potential father?
30:08There doesn't need to be a potential father because Keith is the father of your baby.
30:13So do you in your face?
30:16I have got swimmers, haven't I?
30:17That's horrible.
30:19100% sure?
30:22Mother?
30:23Does it look like me?
30:24I'm shut.
30:25Not my child?
30:26It is now.
30:26Yeah, but you know the scary thing about you?
30:30Is you're going to use her to try and control her again, aren't you?
30:32She doesn't want to sleep with you or be with you and what you need to do, do not make a noise.
30:37Look at me.
30:38As long as I can see my child.
30:40See your children away from her, which we would arrange, and get off your backside and go to work and become a role model for those two because that's the important thing.
30:48How does that work?
30:52Don't be honest.
30:53How does that work then?
30:54100%.
30:55100%.
30:55We're still thinking, my love.
30:57He hasn't got good swimmers.
30:59We went and had a test.
31:00Well, obviously, biological fact there, isn't it, love?
31:02I don't get it.
31:03Well, life in a big city, ain't it?
31:07Don't need to be cocky with me, Keith.
31:10And do you really think I want him to be around you anyway, being an aggressive l***er like you are?
31:16And I don't care where we are, Keith.
31:18You are aggressive.
31:19You're not a good role model to him.
31:21I'm shocked more than anything.
31:22What's he going to learn in his life?
31:23Oh, it's all right.
31:24I'll sit there, twiddle my thumbs.
31:27He ain't going to know crap from you.
31:29Why'd you have sex with him then?
31:32You knew what he was like.
31:33You're both in this together.
31:35You are both in this together.
31:37Now, there are some people watching this that would go, it would have been better if Joshua isn't, Keith.
31:41The fact is, he is.
31:42There are two children, be quiet.
31:44There are two children, Thomas and Joshua, who basically do not need this.
31:48What they need is to know that their dad will be there reliably and will be a role model and will step up and won't be more interested in trying to get into bed with their mother.
31:56And a mother who feels safe enough, content enough to say, look, be involved in your kids' lives.
32:02You cannot go to a house and have these kids.
32:04This is what we'll work on.
32:05We'll sort something out.
32:06Because at the end of the day, you can sit there and look as smug as you like.
32:09You haven't provided for these children at all.
32:12You need to do something to prove that.
32:14You, I'm not saying, darling, for one minute that you're not right about how he is.
32:19But you slept with him and he's the father of that baby long after you split up.
32:23And I don't know whether I believe there's been more.
32:24Probably I do.
32:26That's beside the point now.
32:27I said it already today.
32:28Stop point scoring and concentrate on your kids.
32:31Let's find out with whoever's help, her mum's, your, whatever it is.
32:34Let's get a situation where you can try and step up and be a dad
32:38and you can deal with that in the right way.
32:40But you don't want to be with him, do you?
32:41No, I don't.
32:42Then stop having sex with him, OK?
32:44That's quite important.
32:45Sorry, I have to say it.
32:47And you get the message and stop bugging her and concentrate on your kids.
32:52We will do the rest of this backstage with Graham.
32:54You two that way, you go that way.
32:55Thank you very much indeed.
33:00Right, for an instant update on all of today's guests,
33:02you can join us on Twitter, of course.
33:04But next on stage is Patrick who's here for a paternity test
33:07on 18-year-old Rhianna.
33:08Now, he is desperate to be her biological father.
33:11Even though for the first four years of her life,
33:13he was unaware she's even existed.
33:15They've built up an incredible bond.
33:16It's a massive, massive day for both of them.
33:18Patrick's next on the Jeremy Kyle Show.
33:20Give him a round of applause.
33:21It's one of those moments, and I can tell just by looking at you,
33:34and I know she's been in bits this morning.
33:36This is massive.
33:36Can we have a bit of background?
33:38Rhianna is 18.
33:40Today, you want to know if she is your daughter.
33:43You've been told she is, you've been told she isn't.
33:45Can we go back to the beginning and get as much detail as we can?
33:48Well, basically, when Rhiannon was born,
33:51her mother gave my ex-partner a photograph of Rhiannon to her auntie.
33:57And...
33:58This is Vanessa, Rhiannon's mother.
34:00Yeah.
34:01You had a relationship with her?
34:02I did it for, well, about four or five months.
34:05Did you know she was pregnant?
34:07No.
34:08And when did you first find out that there was this child?
34:11Four years later.
34:13Four years later.
34:15Just, just, just explain how that came to be,
34:18because it's an amazing story.
34:20Well, basically, it's, uh, we all moved,
34:24well, Rhiannon and her mother moved up to the valleys in Orgmore Vale,
34:28and me and my ex-partner and my kids were up in Orgmore Vale at the same time.
34:35So, Jessica, my daughter, and Rhiannon went to the same school.
34:41No.
34:42Yeah.
34:43And you had no idea.
34:44Yeah, you had no idea.
34:46No.
34:47But, listen to this.
34:49His partner, this is absolutely true, in all my time of doing this, even Richard on camera four might find this shocking,
34:56his partner went to pick up their daughter from school and picked up Rhiannon by mistake because they look so similar.
35:04That's true, that's true, isn't it?
35:05That's right.
35:05Now, when you discovered that this child was alive, I don't want to upset you.
35:11No.
35:11Why didn't you have a DNA test 14 years ago?
35:13Because, uh, basically, her mother, Vanessa, was saying I was a, I was a biotic father and I wasn't.
35:22He was going on like half of years.
35:23Did you have doubts?
35:26I did have doubts.
35:27How much of a bond have you built with this girl?
35:30Hell of a lot.
35:31What would it mean to her and you if you are her biological father?
35:35Hell of a lot.
35:36And what about if you're not, having bonded, having gone through all of that?
35:39Well, basically, uh, if, if I'm not, I, I still love her and I still, I still want her.
35:48So that's Rhiannon on the right?
35:49Yeah.
35:50And who are the other two?
35:52Uh, the one in the middle is Nicole and my daughter and the one, the other one there is Jessica, my daughter.
35:58And the lady?
35:59That's Wendy, Rhiannon's, uh, friend.
36:03Close family already.
36:04So we're your girl.
36:05She's tight, like now.
36:07Um, I don't want to upset you, sweetheart.
36:09I'm just going to read a statement from your mum.
36:11As far as I'm concerned, Patrick is not the, don't they look alike?
36:15Don't they?
36:16Oh my God, don't they look alike?
36:18This is from Vanessa.
36:20As far as I'm concerned, she looks like she's, that woman on the left, she's on the Eurovision Song Conference.
36:26As far as I'm concerned, says Vanessa, Patrick is not the father to my daughter Rhiannon.
36:31I've never told him he might be a dad.
36:32I don't frankly know where he got the idea from.
36:35I did sleep with Patrick, but I was already pregnant with Rhiannon at the time.
36:39Your mother says there is a no percent chance that this guy is your father.
36:45She looks shocked by that, but she also looks very close to the people who are here with her.
36:48I'm going to bring all four out.
36:49It's okay.
36:50Your daughter Rhiannon.
36:51Uh, Jessica's your daughter.
36:53Nicola is a daughter as well.
36:55And Wendy, Rhiannon's mum-in-law.
36:56Give him a round of applause.
36:57Massive day.
36:58Well done, my friend.
37:12How are you?
37:14Take a seat, Madonna.
37:14You've got everybody on the crew.
37:17They're all emotional.
37:18Everybody's like, because you didn't want to do this.
37:19And then you did want to do this.
37:20And you wanted to run away.
37:21Then you wanted to come back.
37:22Hard.
37:25Yeah.
37:25You speak all right?
37:27What does today mean?
37:29Everything.
37:31I would love it.
37:32I'll be really honest to everybody.
37:33I would love this to be one of those situations where I go,
37:35He is!
37:35And I don't know what it says.
37:37Yeah.
37:38What if he's not?
37:39He'll kill me.
37:40Jessica, it's so nice to see you and Nicola sitting with potentially your half-sister.
37:51Yeah.
37:51And you do look alike, don't you?
37:54Are you close?
37:55Yeah, we're really close.
37:58What is this like for her?
38:00Really hard.
38:02Really, really hard.
38:04It's horrible.
38:06Her mum's nothing but a liar.
38:07Because her mum has said to me that my dad is her dad.
38:12So her mum, Vanessa, has said that to you?
38:15Yeah, she's a bald-faced liar.
38:16Wendy, how do you make seem to this?
38:17You're Rhiannon's boyfriend's mother?
38:20Yeah.
38:21How important is this for her today, darling?
38:24Well, she needs to know who her dad is.
38:26And by looking at...
38:29Well, I've known Patrick for years.
38:31And looking at his two boys, she's a spit of them as well.
38:36And hopefully, the result she wants is going to come out today.
38:42I hope so.
38:43Shall we do the results?
38:44But she's got all the support of all of us.
38:46I wish, you know, I genuinely don't know what it says.
38:49I'll try not to give it away with my face.
38:52You all right?
38:53I feel for you.
38:54I really do.
38:56I really feel for you.
39:03The DNA test results show that Patrick...
39:09He's not your biological father.
39:11I'm so sorry.
39:12Are you all right?
39:25Poor girl.
39:27I'm so sorry, sweetheart.
39:35Listen, she doesn't...
39:37Can you get me Graham, please?
39:41Sorry.
39:42Sorry, sorry, sorry for all of you.
39:44Horrible.
39:45And you can see what it means to the whole family.
39:47I still have her as my daughter.
39:49Great, thanks.
39:53Not what we wanted.
39:54Not what anybody wanted.
39:56But the bond that she's got with you all is massively, massively important.
40:00Darling, you don't have to do it out here.
40:02You...
40:03Yeah, go on.
40:04Bless her heart.
40:05APPLAUSE
40:07I guess if you're told repeated things by your mother, one thing, this, one thing, that, you never know what to think.
40:18Um, I hope the bond that you've got, you guys, with her remains, because she obviously needs that and you can tell what it means to her, bless her heart.
40:26Are you going to be there for her?
40:28Everything.
40:29Everything.
40:29I'll just pop back to her quickly.
40:31Nice guy.
40:32It was a shame, isn't it, when people don't want to...
40:34So many people on this stage don't want to be involved in their kids' lives, and here's a guy who does.
40:38I'm so sorry, sweetheart.
40:40I really am.
40:41He said he's going to stay there for you anyway, babes, whatever happens.
40:45OK?
40:46Plus, you've got a slot as well.
40:49Right.
40:50No matter what, right, I'm still your dad.
40:52OK?
40:53I've been there for you.
40:55Thanks.
40:56You're even nice as you're done.
40:59Can I say that?
41:00How nice are you?
41:01Do you know what frustrates me about this, from your point of view?
41:04But he's lovely.
41:05This is a piece of paper.
41:07I have people on this stage who don't give a damn about having kids, and they don't give a damn about their parents, and I always crave that a girl like you or a boy like you, you know, you would get.
41:14The answer that you want.
41:15But I'll tell you what, you could do a lot worse.
41:18I look at this man, and I've got four kids, right?
41:21They adore him.
41:22He adores you.
41:23I know it's a piece of paper, and you'd have loved it, but the fact is, he ain't letting you go anywhere, lady.
41:27And that says an awful lot.
41:28I'm still around for the life.
41:30All right?
41:31You know what I...
41:32I'd be, oh, I hunt you down here.
41:33If you need any further help or anything, I know that's not what you wanted, but I promise you this show will do whatever.
41:39But I'll tell you one thing I know.
41:40Do you know how many men I've met on this stage who sire a child and you never see from them because they're not bothered?
41:46He might not be your biological father, but anybody can have that.
41:49Seriously.
41:50The fact he's going to hang around, that's precious.
41:52Let me tell you.
41:53Yeah.
41:53Listen, we wish you all the best of luck.
41:55Graham and his team will work with you, and we're back after this break.
41:57Don't go anywhere.
41:58If you just give me that one last chance, I'll prove to you that I can do it.
42:02Most women will sit there and go, I can't leave him, I love him.
42:05She ain't having you back, mate, till you are drug free.

42:54just can't get this guy out of a head and she's actually prepared to give him a
42:57second chance if he stopped smoking drugs for good big shout for Nicole's on the
43:02Jeremy Kyle show
43:09terrified you're right yeah um just let's start with that decide today almost

43:37to flip it if he loved you he'd have given it up by now wouldn't he yeah can I
43:42just say one thing if that's the case that's your right and your business but

45:28so I was in a bad place at the wrong she left you because you smoked and then when she left you
45:32smoking more kids I started smoking and then that's why I was selfish I'm not gonna lie if I love
45:40somebody as much as you say you loved her and if I loved my kids as much as you say you loved your
45:44kids I'd get off anything and I'd go to hell and back because I'd know that was the right thing to do

46:04university or their own house driving lessons things like that what about her if you just give
46:10me that one last chance I'll prove to you that I can do it yeah but you've accused me of cheating how
46:16many times do I have to be honest yes I did if you let you do the thing the reason that was is
