00:00All right, trying to help out Mark this morning with his date that he went on with Carly.
00:04It's a second date update, commercial-free New Country, 99.5 QIK.
00:08He's felt real confident about his date with Carly and thought things went well.
00:13They went to Salt Rock and...
00:15He paid because it can be a little spendy there.
00:17Sure can.
00:18But it's a nice place.
00:19Great place, and I thought that would be a great setting, he said, and it was.
00:24So, Carly has not gotten back to him since their date, but we do have Carly on hold with us right now.
00:31So, let's bring her on and see if we can get some answers out of her.
00:34Carly, are you there?
00:35Yeah, hey.
00:37Hey, thank you for coming on with us.
00:39I hope you're having a great day.
00:41We'll try to make this quick for you.
00:42I think you just heard us talking about your date with Mark.
00:45We went to Salt Rock.
00:48You guys met online, and he thought that everything was smooth.
00:53and went well, and you guys connected.
00:57But he's been trying to get in touch with you since your guys' date, and has had no luck with that.
01:02And we were just trying to figure out why that is.
01:05Yeah, like, he's kind of gross.
01:09He's gross?
01:11Yeah, like, I feel bad saying it, but he's, like, disgusting.
01:17Oh, wow.
01:17Went from gross to disgusting.
01:19Yeah.
01:20What happened?
01:21Well, okay, so we went to, like, a nice place, right?
01:26Yeah, Salt Rock, it's nice.
01:28Yeah, and it was beautiful in there, and, you know, I dressed up a little, and he dressed up a little.
01:33And then, like, just during the whole meal, he just kept blowing his nose into his napkin.
01:40Okay.
01:41Wait, they have cloth napkins there.
01:42Yeah, exactly.
01:45And, like, it's kind of gross enough if you blow your nose in a paper napkin and, like, leave it on the table, whatever.
01:50But he's just sitting there, like, the whole time, you guys, the whole meal.
01:55He just keeps blowing his nose into his napkin and then putting it back into his lap to use it.
02:01Well, it's, I mean, a sick person is never an attractive person.
02:06Wow.
02:07Well, come on.
02:08Really?
02:09Wait, what were you saying, though?
02:10You said he was blowing his nose and then doing what?
02:12And then he just, like, put it right back into his lap, and then he'd use it as a napkin, and then he'd blow his nose again.
02:18Yeah, I get it.
02:19And it's, like, I'm just imagining his face completely covered with snot.
02:24Like, it was not the vibe.
02:27Yeah, that would kind of ruin your meal on your side of the table, huh?
02:31Yeah, I was, oh.
02:33And, like, I felt like people around us were looking at us, you know, because it was just, he just kept blowing his nose so loud.
02:40So he was blowing his nose in the cloth napkin and then using the cloth napkin as a napkin after that still?
02:49Yeah, like, who does that?
02:52Well, Carly, I can see why you'd be a little grossed out by that.
02:56But I want to kind of give somebody else's perspective on this, and it's Mark.
03:00We have Mark on the phone with us.
03:02Carly, is it cool we talk to him real quick?
03:05I guess.
03:06Okay.
03:07Mark.
03:07There you go.
03:08I just, are you serious because I blew my nose?
03:13It's not because you blew your nose.
03:15It's that you reused the same napkin and put it in your lap and kept using it the whole meal.
03:21Yeah, that's how napkins work.
03:23That is not how cloth napkins work.
03:27It's a nice, classy restaurant.
03:29It was, like, not cute.
03:31I guarantee I was not the only person who did that that night.
03:36Well, the other thing is, like, they do reuse those napkins.
03:39You know, they obviously wash them, but.
03:41People wipe their mouths on them all the time.
03:44That's, that's, they wash them.
03:46That's what napkins are for.
03:47Yeah, and it's different than, like, filling it with people that's not, well, people are trying to have, like, a nice dinner.
03:54Like, it totally ruined the ambiance.
03:56They didn't have a no nose blowing sign on the door.
03:59I feel like by the time you're an adult, you know, to, like, get up and excuse yourself if you're in a nice place to blow your nose.
04:08Like, people around us notice.
04:10Did you talk to them?
04:12They came over and said, hey, that guy's got to stop blowing his nose?
04:15Is that their violation?
04:17Clearly, unlike you, I can read the vibes of the room.
04:20I mean, that's incredibly shallow and silly, but sure.
04:24Okay, I mean, you can think it's shallow.
04:26That's fine.
04:27I just think it's really gross.
04:30All right, so we know what happened.
04:33Obviously, Carly's a little grossed out here.
04:36I mean, I'll ask Carly, is this going to be something that's going to keep you from going on another date?
04:39Because let's, let's think about the bigger picture here.
04:41He was a nice guy, took you to a nice place, paid for the meal, you know, and I would assume that you guys had a good conversation.
04:49I cannot get that image out of my head.
04:52After he hugged me at the end of the night, I went home and showered, because I felt like I was covered in snot.
04:58Wow, that's rough.
04:59So you're not down for another date, then?
05:02No, sorry, Mark.
05:04You blew it.
05:06Hey!
05:08Dad joke!
05:10All right, well, Mark, that is what Carly's decision is going to be.
05:15I'm sorry, it's not going to be another date, and I wish you luck, man.
05:19Thanks for coming on.
05:20You too.
05:20Yeah, all right, Carly, thanks for your time.
05:23Yeah, thanks, guys.
05:24Bye.
05:26That's gross.
05:27Yeah, you don't do that in a cloth napkin at a nice place like that.
05:30No, get up and excuse yourself.
05:32Or use a paper towel in the restroom or something like that.
05:34Go blow your nose.
05:35I mean, I get it, sometimes your nose is just dripping sometimes, but if you're blowing, honking that thing or whatever, really trying to get some stuff out, no, not into a cloth napkin.
05:45That is gross.
05:46And then using the napkin after that.
05:48Makes me rethink now those cloth napkins.
05:51Oh, they wash them.
05:52No.
05:52And still, you don't know who was blowing their nose on on before you.
05:57All right.
05:58Well, this has been a deal breaker, though, for you, because I do think they still had a, I thought they had a good time.
06:03I mean, Mark was pretty confident in that 800-992-1099, 800-992-1099.
