00:00It is a second date update right now, commercial-free new country, 99.5 QIK.
00:04Steven has reached out today. He's looking for another date with Mandy.
00:08Hopefully we can make that happen for him.
00:10Kevin was able to get Mandy on the phone for us.
00:13We got her on hold. Let's see if we can just get her on and ask some questions here.
00:16Mandy, you there?
00:18Hi, yeah.
00:19Hey, Mandy, thanks for agreeing to do this.
00:21I know this is a weird phone call to get, but we wanted to ask you about this guy, Steven.
00:27We heard that you guys went out for drinks.
00:28He really couldn't stop talking about how beautiful you are.
00:32He had a great sense of humor and kind of were the complete package.
00:36And I guess he's been reaching out to you.
00:38I'm sure you've gotten his texts trying to set up another date with you.
00:43No luck when it comes to that.
00:44And we were just trying to see if maybe we could help him out.
00:46Yeah, I think he's also kind of worried about you a little bit, too.
00:49Just makes sure you're OK.
00:50Yeah. So is there a reason you're not getting back to this guy?
00:54Yeah, I mean, I wish I could say the same thing about him being the complete package.
00:58But, you know, he, I have to say, was so rude and so insecure on our date.
01:05And I was completely turned off.
01:07Oh, OK. So rude and insecure.
01:10OK, well, what happened?
01:11What did he tell you guys what I do for work?
01:14No.
01:15Well, so I was so I'm a bartender at like a really high end place.
01:20And I was sort of just kind of explaining to him how much I love my job.
01:25And, you know, I was talking about my customers and my regulars specifically.
01:29And letting him know, like, yeah, sometimes they leave me these great tips, sometimes a thousand, sometimes, you know, five hundred, two thousand.
01:39It really just.
01:39Oh, wow.
01:40You got some nice regulars.
01:42Holy cow.
01:43I know.
01:43Yeah, they're great.
01:44And I was just telling how much I loved my job and why.
01:47And he basically was questioning, like, why why would they tip you so well just for conversation and, you know, just because you're nice to them and, you know, sort of making it seem like I was behaving a certain way that I'm not.
02:05And I was and am extremely offended.
02:09So he's kind of alluding that there's more than just serving drinks.
02:13Yeah.
02:13And I take a lot of pride in my work, you know, and my my relationships with my regulars.
02:18Sure.
02:19Well, it's big business.
02:20Right.
02:21And sometimes without your regulars, I mean, they make you every single night.
02:24They put you over the edge when it comes to money.
02:27OK, well, I could see if you were being accused of something, how you could be offended really quickly.
02:31Mandy, I totally get that.
02:33We do have Steven on the phone with us, though.
02:35Do you care if we kind of bring him back on?
02:38Yeah, I guess.
02:40I mean, I guess.
02:41All right.
02:42Well, Steven, you there?
02:43Hey, guys.
02:44Well, I mean, this is like, yeah, this is a little bit crazy.
02:48I mean, she's she.
02:50Yeah, she works.
02:51She's the server.
02:52But I mean, she's getting like tips that are like a thousand dollars.
02:56Who tips a thousand dollars for somebody serving a beer or, you know, a mixed drink or something?
03:02That's crazy.
03:03Well, first I need to ask, though, how much are the tabs?
03:06They're pretty normal.
03:07I mean, they come in for a couple of drinks, maybe two, three hundred dollars.
03:10It's an expensive place.
03:12She says it's high in place.
03:13So they're tipping you a thousand on like a two hundred dollar tab.
03:17Yeah.
03:17So they're tipping like two thousand percent.
03:20It's crazy.
03:21Come on.
03:22Yeah.
03:22But we have pro athletes coming in.
03:24Like there's tons of wealth where we are.
03:27Oh, people have money.
03:28Like to them, it's not much.
03:31It could be your ten dollars.
03:32You know, I just want to say that.
03:36Steven, who cares if she's making a ton of money doing this?
03:38Like, why does it bother you?
03:39I think you've got to be serving more than drinks if you're going home with that much money at the end of the night.
03:45Yeah, I think that's a bold statement.
03:47And again, rude.
03:49And this is exactly why I stopped responding to him or just didn't in the first place.
03:53Yeah.
03:53I mean, I can kind of see Steven how she'd be offended.
03:55Don't you?
03:56Well, all I'm saying is, like, you guys don't think that's a little strange to be going home with like thousands of dollars in tips for, you know,
04:04Tampa, Florida.
04:06No, I don't.
04:07This is what she does for a living.
04:08Well, there's a lot of bartenders out there, and they're not getting thousand dollar tips at a time.
04:13No, they're not.
04:14It's a high-end place.
04:15So you say I'm the complete package, but also now you're alluding that I don't just serve drinks.
04:21So am I not the complete package, or do I just scare you a little bit that, you know, maybe there might be better men out there willing to shell out big bucks?
04:30Like, I don't know.
04:32I'm definitely not scared, honey.
04:35That's for sure.
04:36I'm just saying that, you know, these, you know, men know men, and they're not shelling out big bucks for nothing.
04:43They're looking for something else for their money.
04:45Well, I mean, they're not getting it.
04:47So it's unfortunate that you have to be so insecure and rude.
04:51I'm not insecure.
04:52It has nothing to do with that.
04:53You know, I'm just trying to make a point, but nobody seems to want to hear what I'm saying.
04:58Well, I'm hearing what you're saying, Steven, but I'm also saying that this is not helping your cause to get another date with Mandy.
05:04I mean, am I missing something?
05:07You guys just think this is totally normal.
05:09I mean, I happen to know people that work at high-end places that are bartenders that do really, really well.
05:14I don't know exactly what they make, but they do well.
05:16And there's a lot of people that tip a lot of money.
05:19And, you know, it's all in the up and up.
05:22And Steven, think about it.
05:23Why would she be interested in going out with you when she obviously has rich men that she could choose from?
05:32If that's what she was into.
05:33If that's what she was into.
05:34Exactly.
05:36Maybe that's why she wasn't texting me back.
05:38She took one of them up on their offer.
05:39Okay.
05:40I got you.
05:41Oh, my God.
05:43Yeah.
05:43All right.
05:44Well, listen.
05:45I get it, Mandy.
05:47Steven, I don't think this is going to happen with Mandy.
05:49I'm sorry.
05:50We tried, but it's just not going to work.
05:53But I wish you luck, man.
05:54And, Mandy, thanks for your time this morning.
05:56Yeah.
05:57Thanks, guys.
05:58All right.
05:59Was he dense or was it just me?
06:01He's kind of insulting this girl, but wanting another date with her, that makes zero sense to me.
06:07That's always going to be a problem.
06:09Yeah.
06:10And she's not quitting her job.
06:12Good for her for making money.
06:13I wanted to ask her where she works.
06:14Yeah.
06:15Let's see if they're hiring.
06:16You can't afford to go in there, Lana.
06:18The drink's not expensive.
06:19That's true.
06:21All right.
06:21What do you think about this?
06:22Whose side are you on?
06:23800-992-1099.
06:26800-992-1099.
