00:00Hey, it's Justin, live at the CMA Awards with none other than Jackson Dean, who we kind of claim you as our own because you're from near-ish Philly.
00:09Uh-huh, uh-huh. I'm just south of there a little ways.
00:12A little more south than most.
00:13Anywhere like Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, kind of right there, they can claim me.
00:20We're claiming you just because, you know, you're the best.
00:23Fearless is a single. It's amazing.
00:25I find myself earworming it. Like, I'm singing it to myself, like, in the grocery store, out to dinner.
00:32At night, laying around the bed.
00:33Yeah, I'm thinking of Jackson Dean when I lay down the bed.
00:37When you wrote this song, did you think it'd become like that? Like, just stuck in people's heads?
00:41The first time that it, the demo isn't far off from, like, what it is now.
00:47So from the first time we laid it down, I was like, this could be something or it could do something on its own.
00:55But over the years, as we've played it so much, it really is a staple of ours, man.
01:01And in the last couple months, it's been really awesome to hear that, hear the audience, the crowd just at the top of their lungs with it.
01:09You know, it's, there's no, you can't buy that feeling, you know.
01:13The first time they kind of, like, yell it back at you, does it, does it, you're like, oh, what's happening?
01:17It's, it's, it's not an oh, what's happening, because I ain't stopping.
01:21Yeah.
01:22But it's like, oh, yeah, baby.
01:25Oh, yeah.
01:26We did it.
01:26This is what we're doing.
01:27It's funny.
01:27So when they, when they do it in, like, don't come looking.
01:30Yeah.
01:30You know, I just, if I don't come back and I throw the finger out to them and it's like, don't come looking.
01:36I'll sneak in there, right there.
01:37I'll go, yeah, baby.
01:38You're like a superhero.
01:39It's just like a superhero moment.
01:40It's, it's, it's intoxicating.
01:42So you're going over to Europe with Laney Wilson.
01:45Have you ever been to Europe?
01:47Yeah, dude.
01:48So we did, we went across the pond and did Royal Albert Hall as a one-off.
01:52Came back, went again, and had maybe nine shows.
01:57Okay.
01:58Sold our entire European head, it was, we headlined.
02:02Yeah.
02:02Except for one festival.
02:04Okay.
02:05And when I scooted over to Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Berlin, that was guitar pool style with Breland.
02:11I love that.
02:11Two German artists.
02:13Okay.
02:13Which is interesting.
02:14But every show that we headlined, we sold out in Europe, which was awesome.
02:18And just dirty clubs, you know.
02:20Yeah, the grittiness of it.
02:21Oran, Oran Moor was this, this, this basement of this, this church.
02:27Some of the hottest shows I've ever played in my life, they don't believe in air conditioning.
02:31No, you're just, but that's what you want.
02:32That's how you, that's the, you'll remember that forever.
02:34Yeah.
02:34That's the emotion you want to come out in the songs.
02:36Yeah, man.
02:37And we're going back.
02:38I'm going to be abroad for like a month and a half.
02:40Okay.
02:40But doing, doing all of UK and Europe and then flying from there down to Australia to go do the Laney shows.
02:47I think those, she's announcing those today.
02:50Okay.
02:50It was online.
02:52I didn't break anything.
02:53Yeah.
02:53Before we wrap up, the most athletic thing I've ever seen is watch you play guitar and football pads.
02:58I could barely get in my stance, dude.
03:00I don't know how you're playing guitar and football pads.
03:02Yeah, dude.
03:03That was, that was, that was an epic time.
03:05That was an epic feeling when, when we did that.
03:08And I did it the year prior.
03:09But this was like, hell yeah.
03:14And it's funny that the guy, the, the guy that led all the rest of the boys.
03:19Yeah.
03:19Because I've gone to school with him since I was like in third grade.
03:22And I was like, Colin, when I hit Brave, you better be coming full force.
03:27I love that.
03:27And it just, he was like, I got this.
03:29So it was, it was just good, good, you know, it was, it was good stuff, man.
03:36But yeah, we, I went, put my guitar down and then go whip their ass.
03:40You know.
