00:00But right now we are trying to help out Rich for the 7-15 second date update.
00:04Oh, they had a pretty cool date.
00:05He went out with Jennifer.
00:06They went to Dunedin.
00:07Yeah, sounds like they just walked around, says they got some food, went to get some drinks, went to a brewery.
00:13Go ahead.
00:14And he said they had a good date, and he's like, he doesn't understand why she isn't reaching back out to him.
00:20He wants to go out on another date with her.
00:22Said no weird subjects came up.
00:24He said that they didn't run into anybody that they shouldn't have run into, all that.
00:29But has heard nothing from her since.
00:31So Kevin has tracked her down like he does.
00:34He's got her on hold.
00:35Let's bring her back on.
00:36Let's see if we can get some answers from her.
00:37Jennifer.
00:39Hi.
00:40Hey, first and foremost, thank you for answering the phone this morning, and thank you for agreeing to come on with us.
00:44I cannot say that enough.
00:46Thank you so much.
00:47Yeah, no problem.
00:48So we want to ask you about this guy, Rich.
00:52We know you guys met online.
00:53We know you guys went to Dunedin and hung out a little bit.
00:55He was really into you and thought you were great and is just really confused on why he has not heard from you since your guys' date.
01:04Is there a reason for that?
01:05I mean, he's just, I don't think it's going to work out just because, you know, he's just not an animal lover like I am or compassionate about animals, which is something that is important to me.
01:17So I just don't see it working out ever.
01:20Well, I can see that being a deal breaker if someone loves animals and the other person doesn't love animals.
01:24Yeah, I couldn't date anybody like that.
01:26But what made you think that, though?
01:28So, you know, like as he probably mentioned, we were walking around Dunedin, and one of the breweries he walked into, they had this collection jar,
01:35and it was intended to find food for or to raise donation money for food for the feral cats to make sure that they're captured and spayed and neutered for population control.
01:47But this was specifically to find, to donate for food.
01:51And I didn't have any cash on me, so I asked him if I could, you know, borrow $10 to put in the jar and then I would demo him back.
02:01And he was really unpleasant about the whole situation.
02:05Really?
02:06$10?
02:07Yeah.
02:07To donate for some cats?
02:10Yeah, he basically told me now, and I said, I'm going to pay you back.
02:14Well, hold on real quick.
02:16Jennifer, I'm sorry to interrupt you, but you heard someone in the background probably.
02:20That was Rich.
02:22We have him on the phone as well.
02:24I want to bring him on with us.
02:26I mean, he actually jumped on himself, so I guess he's going to be on with us.
02:29Yeah, I can't believe this is about, the whole problem of the day was that I didn't donate to a feral cat.
02:38Well, it's the principle of it that I had asked you politely, I was going to refund you.
02:45I wasn't asking you to donate your own $10.
02:47I was willing to donate $10.
02:49I don't know, you got really upset about it, and you were adamant that cats didn't need to be fed, and I don't know.
02:55Well, I think it's a good person that is willing to help out animals no matter what their situation is.
03:02I mean, they're feral.
03:03It's not like they're...
03:04Maybe I don't believe in donating to feral cats.
03:08Like, maybe I don't want more, like, you know, oversized rats on the street.
03:14Wow.
03:14Oh!
03:15Cat people aren't going to like that.
03:17I wasn't asking you to donate.
03:19I was asking to borrow $10 from you and that I would reimburse you via Venmo.
03:24I didn't have cash on me.
03:25But it doesn't matter.
03:26The whole thing was so shady.
03:28Anyway, like, why would you donate?
03:29You don't even know where that money is going.
03:31Like, they could be, you know, sending money to, like, legless crackheads in Rwanda, for all you know.
03:37Like, they're just taking your money.
03:39Well, I mean, the likelihood of that is probably not all that high.
03:44And if it makes me feel good donating to a cause that I felt that needed my support, like, why is that a big deal to you?
03:51It's my choice.
03:53Why is it a big deal if I don't want to give you money for it?
03:56I mean, it's just, it's my choice whether I want to donate my money so you can donate to it.
04:02By the way, Rich, did you not think this was an awkward conversation?
04:06Remember we asked you earlier, like, any awkward conversations happen?
04:09Like, I feel like this would have been kind of a weird one.
04:13I mean, I think it's weird that this would be the cause of anything.
04:16I didn't think it was such a big deal.
04:18I mean, donating to cats.
04:19Like, why is she strong-arming me to donate to feral cats?
04:23It's just bizarre.
04:24She likes cats.
04:26I mean, what if I asked you for $10 for a coffee and you didn't believe in coffee?
04:29And then you didn't let me have coffee.
04:31So now you're complaining about it.
04:35I mean, it ruined the entire date for you because of cats.
04:38Well, it's the principle and the fact that you felt very strongly and negatively about feral cats and cats in general.
04:47I mean, I'll just call them, like, oversized rats.
04:50Do you like animals?
04:51Any animals, Rich?
04:53Yeah, I like dogs.
04:55Oh, so this is a dog-cat thing.
04:57I got it.
04:58Now you're seeing what's happening here.
05:00What if it was a tip jar up there, then, for dogs?
05:04I mean, I don't know.
05:06Maybe.
05:06But it's like, the whole thing just was shady to me.
05:09I don't really typically donate to those things anyway.
05:12Just, like, random, you know, tip jars or whatever it was.
05:16You don't know where it's going.
05:17If I want to donate somewhere, I'm going to choose a reputable place, not some, like, brewery or wherever we were at.
05:24Well, it would have been a great way to impress her because I think she really would have dug it if you would have done that.
05:28Yeah.
05:29Apparently, but, uh...
05:32It's ten bucks.
05:33Sorry.
05:34All right, so, I guess, Rich, if you're just sorry and, like, whatever about it, I mean, do you want to go on another date with her?
05:41Because you called us originally for that, but before I even ask Jennifer that, I mean...
05:45I mean, you know, I thought we had a good time, but it seems like, I mean, if she's going to turn something like this, you know, into, like, a big deal, then I'm kind of wondering what else she might blow out of proportion.
05:58So, just a little weird, maybe red flaggy.
06:03Oh, that's a pick-up line right there.
06:04Red flaggy.
06:05All right.
06:07Jennifer, I'm going to take it that you have no interest in seeing Rich again.
06:12Absolutely not.
06:13I'm great.
06:14Okay, got it.
06:15Enjoy your cat.
06:17Okay.
06:17Be a nice cat lady someday.
06:19Well, listen, guys, you have a great day.
06:21Thank you both for coming on, and you take care.
06:24All right, take care, guys.
06:27They were fighting like cats and dogs, you know?
06:29Oh, my goodness.
06:30Come on!
06:30How did I know something like this was going to happen?
06:33Oh, come on, man.
06:35It was right there.
06:36I know.
06:37But you do see those jars out there.
06:39Yeah, I see them.
06:40Yeah, there's one in our neighborhood at a local restaurant.
06:42It was a missed opportunity to impress her, I think.
06:45You know, even if you're kind of like, ah, I don't know about this.
06:47It may seem a little sketchy.
06:48If it would have made her happy on the date, why not?
06:50No.
06:51All right.
06:52Do you blame Rich for not donating?
06:54Do you think it should have been a deal breaker?
06:56We want to know.
