00:00So let's say you walk into a tmoosie shop, right, a bunch of dumb broads there, and they make you a smoothie with the peanuts, right?
00:09This day and age, everybody is a high-def TV station with their cell phone.
00:18Unless you're like, you know, some grandma who has a flip phone still.
00:23I'm not a jitterbug.
00:25But everybody has video capability for the most part.
00:30So why do people still go on long meltdowns that could jeopardize everything?
00:36Case in point, this story right here.
00:39This guy has lost his job.
00:40I'll get to that.
00:41And this guy had a serious job.
00:44This dude melts down at a Connecticut smoothie store called Robex.
00:51Now, I have heard of them.
00:51It's a small chain of – it's nowhere near as big as like Jamba Juice.
00:55But Robex, they might have 100 locations or something like that.
00:59It's not a really big – but this happened in Connecticut.
01:02And this guy has been charged with intimidation based on bigotry or bias, breach of peace, and criminal trespassing.
01:12He hurled a smoothie as well as racist insults at employees in this smoothie shop in Fairfield, Connecticut.
01:24Jeez.
01:25And he blamed the store for a serious allergic reaction that sent his son to the hospital.
01:33Here's what happened.
01:34And I've got the audio, and Coop, we'll get the video up as well, right?
01:38We'll put the video up in just a bit on MJMorningShow.com.
01:42But Fairfield, Connecticut police, they say the man, James Ionazzo, 48 years old, went to a Robex Fresh Juices and Smoothies location on Saturday after he was there previously.
01:59And his son had an allergic reaction and just goes nuclear, melts down on the staff members, the employees who happen to be like high school kids working at this place.
02:11And he demanded that they tell him who put the peanut butter in the boys' drink.
02:17Now, when employees cannot provide this guy with the answer, because I don't know if you've got –
02:22He came in hot.
02:23He didn't just say, excuse me, who made this?
02:25He came in screaming and yelling and cursing.
02:28No one would want to fess up to that.
02:29I've got the audio.
02:30We'll get to the audio here in a second.
02:32And the guy became irate.
02:36He was yelling at the employees, used all kinds of expletives.
02:39By the way, Coop, are you sure you've got all the bleeps in here?
02:42No, but we do have a dump button for that, right?
02:45There are so many bleeps in this.
02:47I was thinking – I didn't even want to bring it up because I'm like, Coop could never edit this.
02:51This is honest.
02:51And then the guy hurls the drink or a drink at an employee, and it splatters like smoothie all over her, all over the wall.
03:01The other issue I have with this guy's tirade is I think there were like four employees, and all of them were females like the ages of 16 to 19.
03:10That's what I said.
03:11They're like high school girls.
03:12Young girls.
03:12They're high school – in fact, one of the girls was actually wearing a Bunnell High School soccer shirt.
03:21Go Bunnell.
03:22So Bunnell High School – or Bunnell, Bunnell High – Bunnell is in Stratford, Connecticut, which is right nearby.
03:29So these are high school girls working at a smoothie shop.
03:33And this guy comes in and starts just unloading on them.
03:38Now, listen, I understand if you probably said no peanut butter in this because my son's allergic and somehow peanut butter must have ended up in the smoothie.
03:48I get it.
03:49And the kid had some kind of a reaction, and allegedly his son had to be taken to the hospital.
03:53But I think the kid is okay.
03:56But he then goes back to the store.
03:58He's yelling about their immigration status.
04:01Oh, God.
04:01I mean, it goes nuts.
04:04Cringy.
04:05So the workers did screw up the smoothie.
04:08Well, they may not be the best employees in the world.
04:10Well, that's the allegation that someone put peanut butter in the smoothie.
04:14And if you've got a whole bunch of customers, who's going to know who made the smoothie and put peanut butter in the – it's certainly not the way to handle it.
04:21And I guess he ordered it without peanut butter but didn't say, hey, we really can't have peanut butter in this.
04:27My son's allergic.
04:28I don't know if – that's a good point.
04:29Very good point, Roxanne.
04:30Did he make a really big deal out of makes, please, no peanut butter, even when they're making the smoothie?
04:36Like, I like extreme juice.
04:39You know, extreme juice is right on Southdale, Mabry, and what, Swan, right next to Einstein bagels.
04:45So I like extreme juice.
04:46And if I order something special, you know, I'll watch them make it.
04:50And I'll even sometimes say, hey, remember, no yogurt and no whatever.
04:56Oh, you're no yogurt?
04:57Dude, you're not extreme.
04:59Oh, dude.
05:00The most extreme people put yogurt.
05:02I don't want the frozen – I'm trying to limit the sugar.
05:04It's going to be extreme.
05:05You can only roll into the skateboard.
05:07And, you know, and they usually – they follow instructions very well over there at extreme juice.
05:13And I've been a customer there for years and years and years.
05:15But sometimes I'll say, hey, don't forget, no frozen yogurt in there.
05:18If your kid is really allergic, maybe that's the kind of situation where, as Roxanne said, you need to make a big deal out of no peanut butter.
05:26You're sure this has no peanut butter?
05:27Okay, this is the one without peanut butter because if I give it to my son, he's going to go into anaphylactic shock.
05:32Are you ready?
05:32That kind of thing.
05:33You ready for the audio?
05:33You have not heard this, have you?
05:35None of you have heard this except for Coop.
05:37I saw it last night, and I was like, gosh, I don't know how Coop's going to get all these bleeps.
05:43All right, here it is.
05:44The father goes back to the smoothie store, this Robex in Fairfield, Connecticut, and just unloads.
05:51Don't video tape me.
05:52You have no room to yell at me.
05:54I want to speak to the f***ing person who made this drink.
05:56I want to speak to the bleeping person who made this drink.
06:00And who?
06:00No, it wasn't.
06:01You don't know who made it, though.
06:02You don't know who made it?
06:03There's four of us here, so we honestly...
06:05You stupid, f***ing ignorant high school.
06:07You stupid, ignorant...
06:09And then something about high school...
06:11I'm going to run it from the beginning.
06:12But he says, like, you stupid, ignorant high school.
06:14Listen.
06:15Don't video tape me.
06:16You have no room to yell at me.
06:18I want to speak to the f***ing person who made this drink.
06:21Is that you?
06:21No, it wasn't me.
06:22Well, we don't know who made it, though.
06:23You don't know who made it?
06:24There's four of us here, so we honestly...
06:26You stupid, f***ing ignorant high school kids.
06:28Okay.
06:29You stupid, ignorant beep high school bitch.
06:32I want to speak to the f***ing people.
06:34Bye.
06:34Okay, you can call corporate whenever you want.
06:36Goodbye.
06:36You don't know who made it?
06:37You don't know who made it?
06:38You don't know who made it?
06:38You don't know who made it?
06:39You don't know who made it?
06:39No, I don't care.
06:42Give it to me right now.
06:44And he's, like, demanding for the corporate phone number.
06:47I want to call the corporate office.
06:49All right, here we go.
06:50All right, so right there.
06:52That was the throw.
06:54That was the throw.
06:55Hey, Coop, give me an ISO on the throw.
06:57Give me a quick little ISO on that throw.
06:59You hear that?
07:00You heard the smoothie cup go, like, splat, and then you hear the girl scream.
07:05Give it to me right now.
07:06All right, so look at that.
07:11Then she's about to say, I'm calling the cops.
07:13I'm calling the police.
07:15I'm calling the police.
07:16F*** out.
07:17F*** you.
07:19And then the employees start using the F-bomb at him.
07:22They defended themselves, which I'm glad he didn't hurt them,
07:26or he could have jumped over the counter,
07:28and he looked like he was going to punch one of these girls.
07:31Wait till you hear what this guy does for a living,
07:32and wait till you hear what this guy has jeopardized.
07:35Wait till you hear this.
07:35Hold on a sec.
07:36I want the f***ing telephone.
07:38Get the f*** out.
07:39Do you understand?
07:40I want the telephone.
07:41Shut the f*** up.
07:42You shut up.
07:43He said, shut the bleep up.
07:45These are high school girls working at a smoothie store in Fairfield, Connecticut.
07:51Get out.
07:52You can call Corbin when I f***ing stop.
07:54Bye.
07:55You're a f***ing.
07:56Okay, good for you.
07:56Bye.
07:57I want the f*** up.
07:58Bye.
07:59Bye.
07:59Shut up.
08:00You shut up.
08:01You're not going to tell me to shut up.
08:03Who are you?
08:04Who are you?
08:05You're a f***ing immigrant loser.
08:07What?
08:08You called her an immigrant loser.
08:10She's getting the best of them.
08:11Oh, boy.
08:12This guy's digging it deep.
08:14You're an immigrant loser.
08:16So, what's the worst part of this?
08:19Everything.
08:20I mean, what's the, I know, but what's the worst?
08:22Throwing the drink?
08:23I think they're-
08:24Screaming at children?
08:25Yeah, the children part.
08:26Yeah, I mean, I think the, I think the part that they're kids is what bothers me the most.
08:30This guy's beating up and bullying like 16, 17-year-old high school girls making strawberry banana smoothies at a joint in Connecticut.
08:39He sounds abusive.
08:41I am a, I'm a really good insulter.
08:44I would never just think that, hey, immigrant.
08:47It's, it's what a, it's so stupid.
08:50This guy.
08:52So, what does he do for work?
08:53Oh, wait till it is.
08:54Is there more, is there more tirade?
08:55Yeah, I got eight more seconds.
08:56Oh, my God.
08:57But wait, there's more.
08:59F*** you!
09:00Get the f*** out!
09:01Get the f*** out!
09:03Get the f*** out!
09:04You're going to jail!
09:05You're going to jail, you racist piece of s***!
09:07You're going to jail, you racist?
09:09So, good for her.
09:11So, then the, the smoothing girl says, you're going to jail, you racist piece of bleep.
09:17Guess what?
09:18She was right.
09:19They, they caught the guy.
09:21This guy, this guy was one of Connecticut's top brokers for Merrill Lynch.
09:27Oh, that's a big boy job.
09:28The fine, this guy had a big boy job.
09:31And then goes in and shreds high school girls in a smoothie shop.
09:37All right, now I get the guy was ticked off that his kid got peanut butter in the smoothie.
09:42But, Rox, you said something very intelligent a little while ago.
09:46Shocking.
09:47If, so we really want to highlight it, Rox.
09:50So, we really want to emphasize the intelligent thing.
09:53You said that if you've got a kid that's allergic to peanut butter or has a food allergy, you really need to make it very clear.
10:00Even watch them make the smoothie.
10:02Yes, it's really on you.
10:04Well, it's, you ask them to, but you ought to, you ought to confirm.
10:07You really ought to be super hypersensitive and confirm that there's no peanut butter going into that smoothie.
10:13And peanut butter tastes strong in a shake.
10:16Like, you can take a sip of it, Dad.
10:18Peanut also has a strong cross-contamination.
10:20Even if there wasn't a big glop of peanut butter in there, they could have used the cross-contamination.
10:25Only particles of peanut set these kids off.
10:27And guess what?
10:27There are some kids that are so allergic to peanuts, you're 100% right, that there are families that don't even go to an establishment that even have peanuts in the building because of a potential of just a microgram of cross-contamination.
10:42They can't even watch peanuts cartoons, I heard.
10:45Yeah, but no, the girls may have made it without peanuts, but just some particles got in there.
10:50This guy should know better than to even go to this store.
10:52So, here's the moral of the story.
10:55If you're one of the top-ranked brokers for Merrill Lynch in the state of Connecticut, you might not want to call high school girls racist little bitches and all kinds of names.
11:06You immigrant bleep and this and that.
11:08You sounded drunk.
11:10Merrill Lynch has fired the guy.
11:11Yeah, do you talk to your clients like that?
11:13A Merrill Lynch broker in Stanford, Connecticut.
11:16Of course, Stanford, that's big money.
11:19Stanford, listen, Vince McMahon.
11:21That's the home of the McMahons.
11:22It is.
11:23We just drove by there the other day and, well, I say the other day, about three weeks ago, we were right on the interstate, right on 95.
11:31Was it 95 or which interstate?
11:32You see the WWE building.
11:34I've driven by that.
11:36Yes.
11:36I've driven by the WWE building a bunch of times.
11:39They're in Stanford, Connecticut.
11:40This McMahon's building.
11:42And they fired this dude.
11:44Merrill Lynch broker, Stanford, Connecticut, arrested on Saturday after he went on a threatening and biased rant against a group of young employees at this local smoothie shop.
11:54James A.
11:55Inazzo, 48, was charged with intimidation based on bigotry or bias, breach of peace, criminal trespass, according to the police report, confronting the store employees using expletives.
12:05So this guy who started his career at Merrill Lynch, he started, I guess it's, yeah, Merrill Lynch, he started in 1995.
12:16He's been there a long time.
12:17Yeah.
12:17And he's been fired over the incident, said a spokesperson for the Bank of America subsidiary.
12:24So I guess Merrill Lynch is part of Bank of America.
12:27Yeah, he'll be fine.
12:28The company says, our company does not tolerate behavior of this kind.
12:33We immediately investigate and have taken action.
12:36This individual is no longer employed at our firm.
12:39This happened on Saturday and already last night.
12:43He had been fired by Merrill Lynch.
12:45Maybe Stratton Oakmont will pick him up.
12:50Let's just think of that.
12:53Belfort's giving him a call.
12:54Yeah, you sound like a real seller.
12:56Or maybe, I have a structured settlement and I need cash now.
13:02Call JG Wentworth.
13:04877-CASH-NOW.
13:06Maybe they'll hire him.
13:08I'd rather work for Stratford Oakmont.
13:10Can I comment on what a terrible arm this guy has?
13:13Because he had to throw that drink 8 feet to hit somebody.
13:18And only the splatter got her shoulder.
13:20I mean, okay.
13:21I'm grateful that he didn't.
13:22Could have been assault charges if he hit her.
13:24Seriously.
13:25I and Azos' lawyer, Frank Riccio II.
13:29I'm going to hire Frankie.
13:30Frankie Riccio is going to be my lawyer.
13:32And Riccio and Riccio, we work justice for yous.
13:36Okay?
13:36So let's say you walk into a smoothie shop, right?
13:40There's a bunch of dumb broads there.
13:41And they make your smoothie with the peanuts, right?
13:44And you, you go in there.
13:46You're all pissed off.
13:47You're a real hothead, right?
13:48You're freaking throwing a thing right at these immigrant-looking chicks, right?
13:51And you get arrested.
13:53Who do you call?
13:54You call Riccio?
13:56Frank Riccio.
13:57Riccio and Riccio.
13:58Can I be the other Riccio?
14:00For the dagos.
14:01That's what we are.
14:02Okay?
14:03Listen.
14:03Not for the people.
14:04Not for the people.
14:05Not for the people.
14:06Listen, if you're Irish, I'll tell you right now, if you're Irish, don't even think about
14:10freaking calling us.
14:11All right, so their slogan is Riccio and Riccio for the dagos?
14:15For the dagos, huh?
14:17For the everyday go.
14:19Hey, if you're a cop and you try to stop a wop, you know what's going to happen?
14:22You're going to hear from Riccio and Riccio, huh?
14:25By the way, folks.
14:26Stop a wop.
14:27By the way.
14:28Fester's Italian.
14:29Fester's Italian with the last name of Siciliano.
14:31Wrong.
14:31Fester is Polish.
14:33She's making fun of those Italians.
14:35And Froggy's also Italian as well.
14:38Riccio.
14:40Riccio.
14:41Froggy's only Italian in the nose, if you know what I mean.
14:43Look at him, huh?
14:44Look at the way this dog's looking over here, this dog's looking over there, and this guy's
14:47saying, what do you want from me?
14:48Your Honor, first of all, I'd like to present in evidence these four broads who are working
14:53at the smoothie shop with the peanuts there, huh?
14:56All right.
14:57Can I finish the story now?
14:59No.
14:59Let Frank and Riccio continue.
15:02I'm the receptionist.
15:03Riccio and Riccio, who can I put you through to?
15:05Hey, listen, Roxanne, you've been doing a real good job, but let's talk about some shorter
15:09skirts around here.
15:10How about that, huh?
15:11Yeah, shorter skirts, higher heels.
15:12Yeah, you're not showing enough leg.
15:14Listen.
15:14It's Riccio and Riccio.
15:16I mean, listen, I could hire my mother to answer the phone, but you know, I got you here,
15:20so...
15:20You're not going to bring him up.
15:22What, did you show off your goods?
15:24Doll it up.
15:24Doll it up a little bit, will you?
15:25Doll it up, honey.
15:27Yeah.
15:27Show a little more shoulder, huh?
15:29All right.
15:30Can I finish the story now?
15:31So, Doug, let me ask you about Doug.
15:33Are you serious between you two, huh?
15:34What's up with that?
15:35All right.
15:36Give me a sit on my lap.
15:37Yeah, give me a.
15:37Give me a little cousin Paulie wants to know.
15:39Story time.
15:40All right.
15:40Hey, can I...
15:41I got to move on here.
15:42God, please, go ahead.
15:43I've got to find in the girlfriend's attic.
15:46I, unfortunately, cannot stop talking like this.
15:48It takes me a couple minutes to wind down from his accent.
15:51All right.
15:51So, his lawyer, Frank Riccio...
15:55Stop.
15:56Don't do it again.
15:56Oh, Frank Riccio.
15:58Oh, for the dagos.
15:59Oh.
16:00Every dago for the dagos.
16:02Hey, you know what I'm going to give you?
16:03I'm going to give you a magnet, okay?
16:04I want you to keep it on your refrigerator.
16:06If you ever have any legal problems, call me first, okay?
16:08Okay.
16:08It's a picture of a gabagoo.
16:10How's your mother?
16:10How's your mother?
16:11She's my mother?
16:12Tell your mother I said hello.
16:13My mother's doing good.
16:14All right.
16:14My mother's your mother.
16:15We're brothers.
16:16No!
16:17I'm finishing the story now, guys.
16:19Don't talk to him like that.
16:19So, the attorney...
16:20I'm going to mention the name again.
16:22The attorney said that the broker, quote,
16:24wholeheartedly regrets the incident.
16:27He had returned to the shop after he was upset
16:30that his son had a severe allergic reaction to the smoothie
16:33that contained peanuts and had to be taken to the hospital.
16:36When faced with a dire situation for his son,
16:39Mr. Ionazo's parental instinct kicked in
16:41and acted out of anger and fear.
16:44He's not a racist individual and deeply regrets his statements and actions
16:48during the moment of extreme emotional stress.
16:52I will be extending my apologies personally to the Robex organization,
16:57particularly the staff that was working there that night.
17:01Yeah, that's the statement from the lawyer.
17:04And, of course, the whole thing was captured on video.
17:07And, I mean, this thing just happened.
17:10What was the lawyer's name again?
17:11I forgot.
17:13Frank J. Riccio.
17:15Oh, hey, Frankie J.
17:17I'd like to make a statement from my client here.
17:20He was under great duress.
17:22He severely regrets, sincerely and severely regrets his actions.
17:26He was being a real astronaut, if you know what I mean.
17:29You know, I mean, you know, give him a...
17:31He's a good guy.
17:32He's a good fella.
17:33He's a good guy.
17:34He's a good fella.
17:34He really is a good fella.
17:35He's a real soul pigeon.
17:36He's a good fella.
17:37Wow.
17:38Unbelievable.
17:38You know, I don't want to blame the girls,
17:41but they should have just not escalated the situation.
17:46They revved it up.
17:46Yeah, early in the clip.
17:49Just back off.
17:50Just ignore.
17:52If you have a nutso, out-of-control customer,
17:55just call 911.
17:57Yeah, okay.
17:58You don't want to get involved.
17:58He revved up.
17:59He chucked a drink at them.
18:01He put them in a fight-or-flight situation,
18:03and he got a little fight back.
18:04Oh, listen, I'm on the girls' sides here,
18:05but also, just don't escalate it at all.
18:09You don't want to get involved in a third-party altercation.
18:12So, Chloe comes home from high school and says,
18:13Dad, I have great news.
18:15I got a job at a smoothie shop, right?
18:17She gives you a call and tells you there's this irate customer.
18:20All I thought about was,
18:21if I were the father of these girls,
18:24and my daughter calls me,
18:25telling me there's this guy talking to him this way,
18:27what do you do?
18:27You go there, you...
18:28Dad would want the girls to tase him.
18:30You killed this guy.
18:31Oh, my God.
