00:21ang pinanakas na Senior High School Program ng Department of Education na ipapilot sa school year 2025-2026.

00:28Siniasat ng ilang Senador kung kamusta na ang programa.

00:32Pagtitiyak ng DepEd, tinutugunan nila ang mga problema sa harap ng mga suliranin,

00:37katulad na lang ng problema sa congested curriculum, overworked na estudyante at guro, at low labor participation.

00:45Iniunat ng DepEd ang ilang small wins o yung mga magandang balita ng kanilang progreso para sa programa.

00:52P-BED reported that we have improved the hiring outlook with 4 out of 5 companies open to hiring senior high school graduates,

01:03an improvement from the 3 out of 5 in 2018.

01:06The Philippine Statistician reported an increased school participation

01:09where Senior High School Program boosted enrollment among 16 to 17-year-olds by 13%,

01:16which with the highest gains in low-income groups.

01:31And we also asked their views about the senior high school program of the government.

01:40So the senior high school program, that's the next slide.

01:44The senior high school program, about 33% are satisfied, about 40% are dissatisfied.

01:52So that's about a negative 7% net dissatisfaction rating.

02:01This is something that we should take note,

02:07because what we want is our parents and our constituents to be happy with the K-12 program.

02:13This is the nation's education program.

02:15This is the nation's basic education platform.

02:20And if our constituents are not happy with our basic education platform,

02:24particularly our parents,

02:26then they don't see any value to the nation's basic education program.
