00:07The labor market of the country is continuing to grow after the unemployment rate fell last January.

00:13In the report of the Philippine Statistics Authority, from 4.5% in January 2024, the record fell to 4.3%.

00:22The underemployment rate fell to 13.3%

00:26which shows that the quality of work is improving and that fewer Filipinos are looking for a better life.

00:33According to NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balizacan,

00:36the government continues to promote an active and investment-friendly economy

00:42to maintain the positive growth of the labor market.

00:47CHED and PRC are also working to improve the quality of programs in state universities and colleges and other higher education institutions.

00:59In fact, two agencies signed an agreement to improve the Assessments Licensures Program

01:07Monitoring Compliance of SUCs and LUCs,

01:11especially on the issuance of Certificate of Program Compliance.

01:16According to CHED Chair Popoy Devera,

01:18this is also in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s desire to strengthen the quality of education.

01:26The Commission on Election encouraged candidates to join a Peace Covenant to promote peace during the campaign.

01:41According to Communist Spokesperson John Rex Laurianco,

01:44they will continue to work with Deaf-Ed, PNP, AFP, and those who run to ensure the justice and order of the people in May.

01:55In addition, Senator Francis Tolentino will continue his campaign to help those in need in Binan, Laguna.

02:06Former Senator Manny Pacquiao received support from the leaders of Romblon and Unang Distrito of Cebu.

02:13He had a dialogue with barangay officials and promised to support the law

02:18that will provide additional benefits and honorariums to barangay workers

02:24While Senator Aimee Marcos was part of the kick-off ceremony of the Department of Agriculture for Women's Month,
