00:00:00Welcome back, all part of the colour and atmosphere here of the final day of the ITM 400, the driver's parade.

00:00:07This occurred before race 8. Allows me to give you a chance to update Scott McLaughlin.

00:00:11Remember, he went into the wall very hard.

00:00:14Now, Scott is actually OK. There's no physical damage done to him, but the car is no good.

00:00:18They're not going to be able to fix that in time to get it back out there for race 9,

00:00:22which is a crying shame because the crowd really wanted to see him back out there.

00:00:25Also, boys, we've got Mark Scaife and Neil Crompton joining me at the desk.

00:00:28Some news in on Jamie Wincup via the stewards.

00:00:32A 15-point championship penalty has been laid against Jamie for contact with Mark Winterbottom.

00:00:38So it means that Wincup is now 40 points behind Will Davison on the championship list.

00:00:43So let's run you this vision and get your thoughts, fellas.

00:00:46Well, it looks like he's done a little bit of a bump and run.

00:00:49So when he's gone down the inside, he's made contact just there,

00:00:53which has made Mark Winterbottom lose control and he was out sideways.

00:00:57And that effectively gave him the gap.

00:00:59So that's what they've assessed it as, Neil, I think.

00:01:01And I think it was part two of a process because what happened on lap one going into turn five was very, very similar.

00:01:08So I think it's an accumulative thing there where they've taken a dim view of the end-to-end contact on two occasions.

00:01:14And if you think about it, at the start of that race, it was the next racing lap after the incident yesterday.

00:01:20So it's kind of an ongoing thing.

00:01:21It's been viewed as a bundle.

00:01:23Yeah, it's been brewing for a while and it's going to continue for a while.

00:01:26Let's get Mark Winterbottom's thoughts about this.

00:01:29He's with Larker.

00:01:30Well, you can see where the Ford Performance racing guys hang out.

00:01:33They try and run away from me to get away from asking the obvious questions, mate.

00:01:37Mark Winterbottom, good to ask you about that incident.

00:01:39A little bit of touch and go, a little bit of bump before you got there.

00:01:42Yeah, yeah, you know, it happened.

00:01:45But he was on a mission, I think.

00:01:47He got a little bit of an ego and he had a point to prove.

00:01:51So, yeah, good on him.

00:01:52He broke the steering, unfortunately.

00:01:55But, yeah, he was a little bit disappointed with yesterday.

00:01:58Even though he still won the race, it didn't cost him.

00:02:00You know, you can tell he's still a little bit angry.

00:02:01But put him in the memory bank.

00:02:04He's fighting for a championship.

00:02:06I'm sort of nowhere at the moment.

00:02:07And so, could play a big part come December.

00:02:10You put that one in the memory bank.

00:02:12But we're just going to try and focus and use our car speed and get a good job today.

00:02:16And the great thing about this format, mate, we get to qualify.

00:02:18You've qualified already and you're up there near him again.

00:02:20So, we'll be watching with great interest.

00:02:22Yeah, see how aggressive he is in front of me, I guess.

00:02:25And when I'm behind him, we'll see what happens.

00:02:26So, yeah, we'll see what happens in race four.

00:02:31Well, with Shane Van Gisberg and Shane, there was a feeling during that race

00:02:34that when you went off that you shouldn't have rejoined in the same spot.

00:02:37Some teams who were not far behind you argue that you should have received a penalty.

00:02:41Just explain it from your point of view, where you were.

00:02:43Yeah, I simply mucked up.

00:02:45I locked the right front and sort of couldn't quite stop.

00:02:47And I was coming up for a wheel pretty quick.

00:02:49So, I just got off the brake and went to the grass not to take the both of us out.

00:02:53And then, yeah, I rejoined in the same spot, but probably lost second, second and a half.

00:03:00So, I thought it was okay.

00:03:02I didn't gain anything, but I did get away with a mistake.

00:03:06But, yeah, I thought I left enough gap.

00:03:09But they said that in driver's briefing.

00:03:10As long as you don't gain too much and you drop back a little bit from the car, you're behind.

00:03:14It's okay.

00:03:14So, that's what I did.

00:03:15Thanks, mate.

00:03:17So, what happened there was the Giz went off when he was in sixth place.

00:03:20That's where he rejoined.

00:03:21The onus is on the driver to find his way back in there.

00:03:23Do you think it was a fair play to get back in on that spot?

00:03:26Well, I would always argue that if you make a mistake, you wouldn't go back in that position.

00:03:30You've actually made a mistake.

00:03:31You should be penalised for the mistake.

00:03:33Now, they did say that it was okay to rejoin as long as you didn't get an advantage from it.

00:03:37Yeah.

00:03:37Cameron clarified it.

00:03:38Cameron Conville said if you went back in your original spot, he would regard that as an advantage.

00:03:43So, that'll be something that Cam has to sort.

00:03:45Well, boys, we've been talking about the 50th anniversary of the Pukekohe Park Raceway

00:03:49and our first trip back here since 2007.

00:03:52It's got such a wonderful history.

00:03:53We want to tap in to Pitt Lane and Ross Stone.

00:03:57Look, we want to talk to you about this place.

00:03:59We love it.

00:04:00We know you love it.

00:04:01You've got such a deep history here, you and your brother, Stone Brothers Racing.

00:04:06And up until today, Ross, you were the only guys to have had a victory for Ford at this circuit.

00:04:12Yeah, I know.

00:04:13Pukekohe's an amazing place here.

00:04:15It's a great atmosphere.

00:04:16And the track is looking fantastic.

00:04:20Ross Stone, when you first came here, I mean, this is where you grew up.

00:04:22This is part of your heritage.

00:04:24And motorsport is such an integral part of this area of New Zealand.

00:04:29And it's great to see that that hasn't gone away.

00:04:31The character has not been lost at this place, even though we pumped another $7 million into it.

00:04:36Yeah, I know.

00:04:36Absolutely.

00:04:37The character is still here.

00:04:38And the place has chemistry, which is fantastic.

00:04:40You know, I grew up less than 20 Ks here, a little place called Oniwuro.

00:04:45And I came to the original first Grand Prix here in 1963.

00:04:50You know, I'm showing my age, but I was only 10 years old.

00:04:54But I come with my mum and dad and two brothers and two sisters.

00:04:57Ross, we've got some fairly damning evidence of your early interest in motorsport.

00:05:01We'll throw a couple of these shots up.

00:05:03We ran some of these on V8 Extra at the end of last year.

00:05:05And you and Jimmy, as you said, hardcore.

00:05:07It dates a long way back.

00:05:08We've got some fantastic stuff up on screen here.

00:05:10Tell us about some of those early cars and what the venue was like back then.

00:05:14Yeah, well, our motorsport career basically started out in hill climbs and stuff like that.

00:05:20But then Formula Fords and then finally a Pacific car, which we built here in New Zealand.

00:05:29What about the occupational health and safety back then, too?

00:05:31I saw Jimmy and his, what do you call them, jandals over here?

00:05:34That's pretty good footwear on the grid, mate.

00:05:36Yeah, well, that's standard footwear now at the beach here.

00:05:39But so that's how I was in those days.

00:05:42All right.

00:05:46Ross Dane, it's always great to see his smiley face at Pukekohe.

00:05:49Like I said, this area is so deeply enriched in motorsport history.

00:05:54Possum Bourne was just up the road, the late, great rally driver.

00:05:58Ten years ago, in fact, since we lost Possum.

00:06:00So it's time for us to prepare for this ninth race of the championship

00:06:05and the final race of the ITM 400.

00:06:07Stay with us.

00:06:07So the grid is lining up now for the ninth race of the championship.

00:06:34Final race of the day, what a long weekend it's been.

00:06:38We've pretty much seen it all, and we might see a little bit more, boys,

00:06:40because there's some weather hovering around.

00:06:42If you haven't caught up with the news,

00:06:44Scott McLaughlin will not be starting this final race.

00:06:47The car will not be fixed in time.

00:06:49Scotty's OK, so we'll have 26 starters, of course,

00:06:51with Scott Pye not making the grid this weekend as well.

00:06:54Let's check in with Larko.

00:06:56Weather, did you say, Matty?

00:06:57Like we need anything else thrown into the mix here.

00:07:00Let's quickly blaze through the Pukekohe track.

00:07:01In fact, it's not many of them.

00:07:03Race 9 of 36 in the championship.

00:07:05Distance 35 laps, 100km, pitch stops, no pitch stops.

00:07:07It is a sprint race.

00:07:09Tyres all hard.

00:07:10But I want to get into some of the finer points of racing.

00:07:12We've seen a lot of mistakes this year, or this weekend in particular.

00:07:15But when you're a race driver,

00:07:17when you make the decision to make an overtaking manoeuvre

00:07:19that often goes wrong, it's not like, say, golf.

00:07:22You know, we've got the US Masters on at the moment.

00:07:24They swing the club, the ball goes,

00:07:27they don't go for the ride with the ball.

00:07:29As a race driver, when you commit to a decision,

00:07:31you're in the car, you go for the ride.

00:07:33And if we look at some vision, I just want to show you,

00:07:35this is Mark Winterbottom on Jamie Winkup yesterday,

00:07:37down the main straight.

00:07:38So, first of all, you've got to analyse your run onto the straight,

00:07:41your competitors' run onto the straight.

00:07:43This is Jamie we're looking from.

00:07:44And then you've got to be able to second in the end

00:07:46to commit do I, I don't I.

00:07:48You make the decision, you're on the brakes,

00:07:50and sometimes you get it wrong.

00:07:51And if you have a look at Mark Winterbottom,

00:07:52gee whiz, I think he should be commended for making the move.

00:07:56But you know what I would have liked to have seen him done?

00:07:58And I don't want to pull apart different racing moves,

00:07:59but just having a bit of a chat about it with the boys.

00:08:02If this was Mark Winterbottom on Winkup yesterday,

00:08:04what would have been really nice?

00:08:05When the car started to slew sideways,

00:08:07if he just released a little bit of brake

00:08:09and actually used Winkup's car with a little bit of contact,

00:08:14used Winkup's car, and he could have done this.

00:08:17Don't worry about the apex, that doesn't matter anymore.

00:08:19Lean, lean, lean, lean.

00:08:20Doesn't matter if he's out there,

00:08:21but as long as he's up to the B pillar,

00:08:22he can continue to do that.

00:08:24Now, they'll be slow and untidy here,

00:08:26but that doesn't matter.

00:08:27He's made the move.

00:08:28And if we look at the reverse today

00:08:29with Winkup on Winterbottom,

00:08:31now, look at the vision again.

00:08:32First off, we'll need to remind you now,

00:08:34Winkup's got in trouble and copped a penalty for this contact.

00:08:37OK, that's a bit naughty.

00:08:39Shouldn't have done that.

00:08:40They won't be allowed to bump and then ride past.

00:08:41Let's have a look.

00:08:42There's the bump.

00:08:43But what I do like is this bit.

00:08:45You can see Winkup does exactly what we're talking about.

00:08:48Not worried about the apex.

00:08:50Look, they've driven straight past it.

00:08:51But once he made that move,

00:08:53he lent on Winterbottom.

00:08:55Let Winterbottom actually effectively use the car.

00:08:57That's great race craft.

00:08:59Now, another quick thing I just want to show you before we go.

00:11:00I didn't appeal or anything.

00:11:01We just walked out of there with a smile on her face

00:11:03and put our focus on this race.

00:11:05Okay, speaking of which,

00:11:06you've got some championship points to make up now.

00:11:09I haven't had a good weekend, actually.

00:11:11I mean, it's been a long, tough one,

00:11:13but we've got an opportunity now to score some points,

00:11:51So the driver with the most combined points at the end of this race

00:11:54will be awarded that trophy on the podium at the moment.

00:11:59Will Davison is top of that list.

00:12:03And Jason Bright, Jason Richards' former teammate at Brad Jones Racing

00:12:07is 12 points adrift with Shane Van Gisburgh and equal.

00:12:11So everybody in the field love Jase.

00:12:14And everybody would be very proud to be up there and accept that at the end of this day.

00:12:23So 100km's worth of racing, 35 laps.

00:12:26Taking the pit stops strategies out of these races.

00:12:30We put it in the hands of the drivers.

00:12:31And the result has been, at times, chaos.

00:12:34But more often than not, awesome racing.

00:12:36One more break and then we'll let the cars loose.

00:12:39This enormous crowd here has seen a fantastic weekend of V8 supercar racing.

00:13:06Four practice sessions, four qualifying sessions, a top 10 shootout.

00:13:11And up to this point, three 100km races.

00:13:15There's been aggro left, right and centre.

00:13:17Some awesome moves.

00:13:19Our winners, Scott McLaughlin, Jamie Winkup and Will Davison.

00:13:23And as we mentioned, you can see they're on the left-hand side of the track.

00:13:26From our point of view, Jason Bright, car 8.

00:13:28To start from position number 1.

00:13:30So this is the third event of 2013.

00:13:33We've already been to Adelaide and Tasmania.

00:13:35And here we are back at this circuit, 2.91km.

00:13:38And is now, on average speed, the third fastest that we've got.

00:13:42And the new complex turns 5, 6 and 7.

00:13:48The other day when we arrived here, Scafie, we jumped in the safety car.

00:13:52Larko and myself and you.

00:13:54And we went for a blast to check out the new complex down there at 5, 6 and 7.

00:13:59But also, all the concrete barriers that have been placed around the track.

00:14:04The new pit lane complex, 6.6 million dollars worth of refurbishments

00:14:10have been put to Pukekohe.

00:14:12Not just the track, but the surrounds.

00:14:15And it really is a pretty wicked ride.

00:14:18And in that sense, we sent you and Larko out there to tell us more about it.

00:14:21So it's the proper racing line, thanks to Penright.

00:14:23So Scafie, Matty and I have just nicked the safety car, actually.

00:14:31They had a little blaze around.

00:14:32And in between sessions, mate, first of all, I've got to say,

00:14:35I think congrats for everyone involved in upgrading this joint.

00:14:38But what blew me away is with the upgrades,

00:14:40the character of the joint has absolutely remained.

00:14:44Well, I mean, a great part of it is that we've always loved the circuit, haven't we, mate?

00:14:47It's fast, it's blowing, it's bumpy.

00:14:48So we've left the bumps, say for turn one, 250 kilometres an hour,

00:14:52you're into that corner.

00:14:53But it left the bumps.

00:14:54And then we've tried to keep this piece as old in terms of character

00:14:57as the old piece was,

00:14:59but we've put two new kerbs in to just contain the cars in this zone.

00:15:02So they come through here, over 200km, right in the middle of this,

00:15:05down to about 90km at the final corner of this complex at turn four.

00:15:10All right, well, let's whiz over the back.

00:15:11I want to show you. Let's have a look at the new section.

00:15:13OK, so the cars blaze down the back straight here,

00:15:15255 kilometres an hour before this braking.

00:15:17Now, mate, initial observations, this is very wide.

00:15:20And secondary, this seems to be more than just a new corner.

00:15:24There's a little bit of science in this, mate, for overtaking.

00:15:26Yeah, well, as you said, really high-speed approach.

00:15:29Easy corner to miss because the road runs off.

00:15:32It's a little bit like the sand down right, left, coming onto the straight.

00:15:34But we've super elevated, so we've put four degrees of camber on turn six.

00:15:39So you get through turn five using all the kerb,

00:15:41then run it around and make sure you make the apex at turn six.

00:15:45It's about 90km, and it should basically create, being so wide,

00:15:49a bit of a difference in terms of the line and the approach.

00:15:52There's a way of cheating it in and a way to get out.

00:15:54Well, I reckon we'll have a look at that over the course of the weekend

00:15:56because there's going to be a couple of different ways to get through this corner.

00:15:58Let's go over and have a look at a little bit more of the old circuit.

00:16:03OK, so we're standing smack in the middle of turns 10 and 11

00:16:05on the way up to the main straight.

00:16:07But on the way here, we've come through

00:16:08what always has been the traditional hairpin.

00:16:10But, mate, you've hotted that up as well.

00:16:12Much better overtaking opportunity.

00:16:13Well, adding turn five, we've made that opportunity

00:16:16to go through a little complex.

00:16:17But when you come out of the complex,

00:16:19there's a kink at turn seven and then turn eight.

00:16:22The cars do about 175km before the hairpin.

00:16:25And still wide?

00:16:26Still wide.

00:16:27So that'll mean that there's crossover,

00:16:28there's all the stuff we've always seen at the hairpin.

00:16:30So that's a traditional corner that we haven't really messed with too much.

00:16:33But this is the bit that I'm excited about, Larko.

00:16:35This is the best piece of this whole racetrack.

00:16:36Well, you know the best thing?

00:16:37I mean, have a look at this vision.

00:16:38They've left the character here.

00:16:40I mean, this is the bumpiest part of racetrack anywhere we go.

00:16:43The drivers love it, which is kind of weird.

00:16:45But it had to stay, mate.

00:16:47Really, to me, it's part of the culture of this Bukakawi circuit.

00:16:49And it's fifth gear.

00:16:51It is seriously fast.

00:16:52I mean, there's not many corners in the world that are like this one.

00:16:54They arrive sideways from the left,

00:16:56over the bump, gather them up, change direction,

00:16:59turn it onto the straight,

00:17:00and swoop into this spot where there is no room for error.

00:17:03The wall is, as you can see, right next to the track.

00:17:06This is very committed stuff.

00:17:07And it is very cool, because look over our shoulder.

00:17:09It's like a tunnel.

00:17:09You go up into the cauldron between all the people,

00:17:11and they're all going,

00:17:12go forward, go.

00:17:13I think it's a go-hold and go.

00:17:20Always going to end in tears, wasn't it?

00:17:21Wasn't it?

00:17:22So we've now had 24 championship races held at this venue.

00:17:26And you can see Will Davison there just tucked in car number six.

00:17:30Well, he won the last race earlier today

00:17:32and becomes only the second four driver to do so

00:17:35since Marcus Ambrose did it for Stone Brothers back in 2004.

00:17:38Larco, what more have you got?

00:17:39Well, down here on Pole Position with Jason Bright,

00:17:42who's loving this multi-qualifying format.

00:17:44I just saw your teammate Fabian Coulthard come up

00:17:46and wish you luck, mate.

00:17:47But I reckon that's code for I hope you fluff the start.

00:17:50No, no, mate.

00:17:52We're, you know, battling pretty hard for this JR trophy.

00:17:55So, you know, we just want to take it back to Albury

00:17:58and, you know, to its home.

00:18:00And, you know, I think he's pretty genuine with this one.

00:18:03Yeah, there'd be no better place for it to go.

00:18:05Just quickly while I'm here,

00:18:06there's those wings on the seat we were talking about earlier

00:18:08that will stop a driver's helmet going sideways

00:18:10in a lateral collision.

00:18:13And just very, very quickly,

00:18:13if we blaze around the other side of the car

00:18:15before they put the ice in,

00:18:16if you have a look,

00:18:17they're about to put dry ice inside that box in there.

00:18:20Up here, Dave, if you have a look in the car,

00:18:21see those tubes there?

00:18:22The silver tubes,

00:18:23air goes through those into the driver's helmet

00:18:24so he gets cool air

00:18:25and the rest of it's pumped through his race suit

00:18:27so he's got a nice, cool race suit.

00:18:29Well, Jason Bright's teammate, Fabian Coulthard,

00:18:31is right with us now.

00:18:33Fabian Bright, he was just saying you wished him good luck.

00:18:35It's a special vibe in the team at the moment,

00:18:37especially today.

00:18:38Yeah, look, you know,

00:18:39with what the trophy is,

00:18:41you know, the JR trophy,

00:18:42it means a massive part for it to go back to Aubrey.

00:18:45If I couldn't win it,

00:18:46the next person's best would be Bridie.

00:18:48So we'll be doing everything we can

00:18:49to help sure, you know,

00:18:51Bridie gets the trophy back to Aubrey.

00:19:08If anything, like the first three races to go by,

00:19:10it's going to be pretty full on.

00:19:16I reckon the greatest asset to have here

00:19:18would be a little bit of maturity.

00:19:24up and down this grid, Larko.

00:19:26It was pretty wild,

00:19:28that last one, wasn't it?

00:19:29So, we just tried to stay out of trouble

00:19:30and got away with it.

00:19:31We went from 13th to 5th.

00:19:32So, obviously, starting up the front here,

00:19:34we're a bit more out,

00:19:35hopefully out of trouble.

00:19:36But there's been plenty happening this weekend.

00:19:38So, if we just keep our nose clean,

00:19:39we should end up somewhere near we need to be.

01:10:14know and it was

01:10:14a little bit

01:10:15unfortunate he was

01:10:15in second there

01:10:16for a while but

01:10:17you know he got

01:10:17the lead and just

01:10:18drove away so his

01:10:19car was very

01:10:19awesome the boys

01:10:21have given him

01:10:21an awesome car and

01:10:22you know he's one

01:10:23happy man at the

01:11:33I was I just had my

01:11:34head down all race

01:11:35absolutely awesome

01:11:37off the last couple

01:11:38of corners and just

01:11:39soaked it all up

01:11:39because like Mark

01:11:41said that was you

01:11:42know that was one of

01:11:42my best wins and you

01:11:43know I really wanted

01:11:45to soak that up

01:11:45you were thinking

01:11:46about this last night

01:11:47weren't you

01:11:48I was I like I said

01:11:50down there I got a

01:11:51message from Sienna

01:11:52last week saying she

01:11:54wanted to give me the

01:11:55trophy so we put

01:11:57everything into this

01:11:58weekend I I was gutted

01:12:00when I qualified 12th

01:12:01this morning I thought

01:12:01I'd blown it and we

01:12:02had a good race that

01:12:04race had so many

01:12:05safety cars and I knew

01:12:06that if if if if we had

01:12:09less safety cars we

01:12:10were going to move up

01:12:11a lot more

01:12:11you got to be

01:12:12confident and patient in

01:12:14this game don't you

01:12:14you started from pole

01:12:15position and Jamie

01:12:17Winkup in the blink of

01:12:18an eye was one and a

01:12:18half seconds up the

01:12:19further up the track

01:12:20how did you how did

01:12:21you mentally process

01:12:22that one you know I

01:12:24I've been saying to my

01:12:25engineers all week you

01:12:26know all I gotta do is

01:12:27qualify better and make

01:12:28a good start and we'll

01:12:29we'll drive away from

01:12:30this field and it's hard

01:12:31to convince them you

01:12:32know because in the

01:12:33first race we had some

01:12:34rear damage and like we

01:12:35really struggled behind

01:12:36Scott McLaughlin there

01:12:37and and then you know

01:12:39the second race like we

01:12:40chipped away through we

01:12:41chipped away through you

01:12:42know the next one again

01:12:42and and you know it

01:12:44really never you never

01:12:44see what true pace

01:12:45you've got until you're

01:12:46out in front and we

01:12:47showed that in Tassie

01:12:47when we're when we're

01:12:48in front we've got

01:12:49really good pace at the

01:12:50moment I thought

01:12:51Bridie that the thing

01:12:52that was really weird

01:12:54the Winkup performance

01:12:55in the first lap and

01:12:56he jumped away so far

01:12:58and the way you just

01:12:59tracked him down and

01:13:00this was a really good

01:13:01pass man Neil and I

01:13:03were so impressed with

01:13:04the way that you

01:13:04executed that move

01:13:06Jamie obviously give

01:13:07you a little bit of

01:13:07room at the end but

01:13:08it was a great pass and

01:13:09that's a very special

01:13:10moment you saw the

01:13:11team reaction just there

01:13:12you can imagine I

01:13:13know what you were

01:13:14thinking at that time

01:13:15that was an incredibly

01:13:16important passing

01:13:17manoeuvre that you got

01:13:18away with

01:13:18it was I practiced on

01:13:20about seven other guys

01:13:21in the other races in

01:13:22that corner it was you

01:13:23know our car was so

01:13:24strong on that infield

01:13:25you know in the other

01:13:25races when we're behind

01:13:26other cars we struggled

01:13:27on and off the straight

01:13:28but our car was so

01:13:30strong through all the

01:13:30tight stuff and I

01:13:31you know like I said I

01:13:32practiced on quite a few

01:13:33guys before we before we

01:13:35got to Jamie and you

01:13:36know I knew we had the

01:13:37pace I knew we were

01:13:38going to get him

01:13:38eventually but you know

01:13:40that was my passing

01:13:40spot I thought you

01:13:41might have just settled

01:13:42for second I thought

01:13:43seriously at that

01:13:44point you were in the

01:13:45lead for what is

01:13:46unbelievably important

01:13:47thing for you and the

01:13:48team and I thought you

01:13:49may have settled for

01:13:50second but when you got

01:13:51that pass done so

01:13:51cleanly and then you

01:13:52drove away it was it

01:13:54was just fantastic I

01:13:56didn't want to win this

01:13:56trophy by coming second

01:13:57mate I wanted to win it

01:13:59I wanted to win the

01:13:59race you know I didn't

01:14:01want to you know win the

01:14:01trophy without winning a

01:14:02race this weekend I

01:14:03wanted to prove that we

01:14:04were the quickest car here

01:14:05and hopefully we proved

01:14:06that what is it about

01:14:07Pukakoe it's a great

01:14:09joint you know this is a

01:14:10real driver's track you

01:14:11know I love it you know

01:14:12it's got two of the two

01:14:13of the most dangerous

01:14:14corners in our racing you

01:14:16know and it's so

01:14:17exhilarating you know when

01:14:18we came here first time

01:14:19with these cars on Friday

01:14:21they were pretty difficult

01:14:22to drive open your eyes

01:14:23quite a bit and you know

01:14:25we worked pretty hard at

01:14:26getting it right and I

01:14:27think we got it right

01:14:28how's the reaction

01:14:29did you hear the crowd as

01:14:32you drove over the hill

01:14:32a little bit but you

01:14:35know I was on the

01:14:36radio to the guys

01:14:37thanking them at the

01:14:38time you know because

01:14:38it was you know that

01:14:39was like I said that was

01:14:40a special win yeah and

01:14:42up and down pit lane
