01:40My name is Rose Marie Wilson, AKA one single rose when I'm nice.
01:45AKA pearl when I'm naughty.
01:47So y'all just gonna get pearl this weekend.
01:49Rose.
01:50Yes.
01:51How are you?
01:52I am amazing.
01:53How are you?
01:54I'm good.
01:55Rose used to make me look like a star.
01:58You are a star.
02:00Rose used to do work for, corporational work for me.
02:04Okay.
02:05NBC, Universal, all those things.
02:10She was the total administrator.
02:14They thought I had a large company with a building with 15 floors on it.
02:19You did.
02:21Good to see you, Rose.
02:22You too, Mason.
02:23Always the writer.
02:24I know you always wrote and did poetry.
02:26And her brother is a great guitarist.
02:29Yes.
02:30Randall.
02:31Yeah.
02:32Good to see you.
02:33You too.
02:34Well, Mason knows the history, don't he?
02:35He does.
02:36Yes, yes, yes.
02:37We have more people.
02:38Come on over.
02:39Yeah, you gotta introduce yourself.
02:40You gotta introduce yourselves.
02:42We'll take a picture and see that hair later.
02:48Tell us your name.
02:49I go by Candace D. Coldest.
02:51Yes.
02:52Candace D. Coldest.
02:53Yes.
02:54Why so many names?
02:56It's just one name.
02:57Candace D. Coldest.
02:59Okay.
03:00Correction.
03:01Oh, Coldest.
03:02Yes.
03:03As in C-O-L-D.
03:05Yes.
03:06Cold.
03:07There you go.
03:08What do you do?
03:09So, I will be doing a sexy pole dance performance.
03:12You're the pole dancer.
03:13I am.
03:14You are my hero.
03:15Here I am.
03:16Oh, my God.
03:17You are amazing.
03:18I am.
03:20Oh, my goodness.
03:21Detroit.
03:22Let me tell you.
03:23I've been talking about pole dancing.
03:24We did that story about pole dancing.
03:25She does it like completely, fully clothed.
03:28Okay.
03:29But the tricks that she can do.
03:30The tricks, huh?
03:31She's got tricks.
03:32The tricks.
03:33She knows how to make it look like she's walking in the air.
03:36And, girl, you are amazing.
03:40We got a green afro in the house, too.
03:41Let's see what's up with that.
03:42It's turquoise.
03:43It's turquoise.
03:44Get your colors right, brother.
03:46Turquoise.
03:47Turquoise.
03:48You know what I'm saying?
03:49It's beautiful.
03:50Just like the interior.
03:51But I am butterfly.
03:52They like to call me butterfly Mars.
03:53I am an acrobatic contortionist.
03:56I do burlesque shows with my snake.
03:59A real snake.
04:00Some people call me the snake lady.
04:01It just depends where you want to go with that.
04:02It's a real snake, man.
04:03Where I'm at, where I'm from, what I'm doing.
04:05I can be butterfly.
04:06I can be violet.
04:07You know, just the best.
04:08That is beautiful.
04:09Thank you, love.
04:10So, when you say contortionist,
04:11break that down a little bit more for us.
04:12Well, I can fold myself in various positions
04:15that your mind cannot desire.
04:19How long have you been a suitcase?
04:21What?
04:22I've been in the suitcase.
04:23Don't wait.
04:24I just was telling them that.
04:25In Atlanta, they used to call me that.
04:27Like, oh, she's from out of state.
04:28She is the monkey girl or something like that.
04:31Yeah, folding up in a suitcase.
04:32Yeah, the suitcase.
04:33Vegas.
04:34I've been doing it in Vegas.
04:35I was one of the extras for the Cirque.
04:38And I used to go around and be at Charlie's with the gay crowds
04:42and my beautiful queen, ladies of the pride family.
04:45You know what I'm saying?
04:46They taught me all my stuff.
04:47All my tricks.
04:48Wow.
04:49When you were young, little.
04:50Oh, I started.
04:51They didn't know how old I was.
04:52I was 17.
04:53But, you know, I was using my mom's ID as I should.
04:55There you go.
04:56You know what I'm saying?
04:57I'm an 80s baby.
04:58You know, that's what we supposed to do.
04:59Beautiful moms.
05:00You know what I'm saying?
05:01That's good.
05:02All right, Angie, start.
05:03I told y'all.
05:04I told you.
05:05This adult stuff right here.
05:06Poetic, poetic, poetic for play.
05:09I'm impressed with you.
05:10Me and you got to talk later.
05:11Let's talk.
05:12D, come and talk and explain what's going to happen.
05:15So it's a sexy, erotic variety show.
05:18So we have burlesque, erotic poetry with local Detroit artists,
05:22and we're bringing in some outside talent for live performances.
05:26It's going to be a comedy.
05:28Also, Mike Larry's going to be there.
05:30So just come out and have a good time.
05:31It's at the Athena on Gratiot.
05:33For tickets, go to sadalisproductions.com or call 586-834-SEXY.
05:40Wow.
05:41Don't wait, Detroit.
05:42I'm telling you, last time it sold out, please get your tickets early.
05:46It's worth it.
05:47Every time it sold out, get your tickets early.
05:50It's going down February the 10th.
05:52Check this out, fellas.
05:53This is what y'all should do.
05:54What?
05:55Get your ladies.
05:56They tickets for Saturday, and you can watch the football game on Sunday.
06:00Period.
06:01You feel what I'm saying?
06:02You'll be at the doghouse.
06:03It's something special, y'all, honestly.
06:05How many years?
06:06How many years?
06:07And then we got, oh, this is the 10th.
06:09This is the 10th.
06:1010th a year.
06:11Okay.
06:12Seven.
06:13Okay, my bag, seven.
06:14That's close to 10.
06:15It's a seven.
06:16Yeah.
06:17We got an after party, Angie.
06:18Okay.
06:19So, first time we're going to get the dance.
06:21Yeah.
06:22We got a DJ.
06:23That lady goes by the name of Mo Betta.
06:25Uh-huh.
06:26She is cold.
06:27Oh, yeah.
06:28I'm talking to Mason.
06:29Yeah.
06:30You familiar with her?
06:31Yeah.
06:32So, you see how you're shaking his head?
06:33Okay.
06:34Detroit, you got to come see this.
06:35It's one of the most amazing shows you're going to see.
06:36She's the true.
06:37Yeah.
06:38And my first time experienced it.
06:40You guys, we talked about it.
06:41I had a special VIP table.
06:43A lot of celebs came out, but I was impressed with the couples.
06:47I want to go back to that.
06:48You can see the couples there kind of listening to that erotic poetry and learning things that
06:54they might not have known through the poetry.
06:57It's a learning sexual kind of experience.
07:00It is.
07:01It's a new connection.
07:02Yeah.
07:03It is very intimate.
07:04How much is it?
07:05And it brings back relationships.
07:06It really does.
07:07It brings them back, huh?
07:08With some new tricks.
07:09It's healing.
07:10How much does it take?
07:12General admission is $35 and VIP is $55.
07:16How do you get it?
07:17Go to sadalisproductions.com.
07:19No, no, no.
07:20No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
07:23Say that slow and then spell that.
07:26Okay.
07:27All right.
07:28Go to sadalisproductions.com.
07:30That's S-O-D-A-L-I-S, productions with a S, dot com.
07:36Or call 586-834-SEXY.
07:40Do that number again?
07:42586-834-SEXY.
07:45Why did you put all of this together?
07:48Why was this, how did this come about in your mind to do this from the beginning?
07:54Besides being freaky.
07:55No, I'm just kidding.
07:56I'm an erotic writer and my erotic writing name is S.L. Butter.
08:02And you can go to slbutter.com for that.
08:04But it was nowhere for me to really display my books.
08:08So that's one of the reasons.
08:09You can't go to regular book fairs, kids are there and stuff like that.
08:12So I started selling my books and stuff like that and getting into more poetry and adding everything in.
08:16So it started out just trying to get your book information out and turned into a tremendous, incredible event.
08:28Yep.
08:29Wow.
08:30At what point did you say I need to add talent to sell the book?
08:34Oh, when I first had an event, I had a vendor event.
08:37Okay.
08:38I had, I don't know, certain things you can't say on the radio.
08:40But we had a vendor event and it was open to everyone.
08:43And then I started meeting interesting poets like Rose and then I started saying, let me add some burlesque and some other stuff to it.
08:48Wow.
08:49Aerialist.
08:50Yeah.
08:51Fascinating.
08:52All right, Angie.
08:53It's a full, I'm telling you guys, it's different.
08:55It's a full package.
08:56It's fun.
08:57You're going to be entertained from start to finish.
09:00I'm telling you, my girl in the pole is phenomenal.
09:03And I want to ask you right quick, is it an age limit or can, you know, do you have to be a certain, is it hope?
09:09I'm sorry.
09:10Because I want to get up on the pole.
09:11Say your name again and what, and what your performance is again.
09:15So I go by Candace the Codis and I will be doing a sexy pole dance performance.
09:21That's right.
09:22Now I want to know, is it, do you teach or is it, is there hope for people?
09:26I do.
09:29She's like, here's some hope.
09:30Okay.
09:32Obviously.
09:33It's on my bucket list.
09:34I want to do that.
09:35Obviously the Codis is an athlete too.
09:37Oh, she's gotta be.
09:38Oh yes.
09:39How do you train for that?
09:41Yeah.
09:42So definitely go to the gym weekly.
09:44You have to work on that upper body strength, that core strength.
09:47That's what I said.
09:48You need all of that for that pole.
09:49Okay.
09:50It's definitely a workout.
09:51Are you with the aerial and pole, um, you're not with them.
09:56Are you serious?
09:57Come here to the mic.
09:58No.
09:59Okay.
10:00So this butterfly y'all, I was asking if you were with the aerial and pole, um, Olympics.
10:06Oh yeah.
10:07Because that's what I do with pole fit.
10:09Oh yeah, that's it.
10:10And that's what, cause I, and the issue with me is, I turned out intermediate because I'm
10:15contortionist.
10:16So I'm hitting down on the floor doing all the pole tricks.
10:19But climbing up is what you call the basics.
10:21And I didn't learn the beginning.
10:22Okay.
10:23I just skipped that.
10:24It went up.
10:25So I was wondering, girl, you better get in there and get your.
10:28Well, give me the information.
10:29Oh my God.
10:30Get your awards and get recognized.
10:32They travel everywhere.
10:33You're not part of the Olympic group, huh?
10:35It's a pole and aerial Olympic.
10:37They be at the Arnold and everything.
10:40Yeah.
10:41Every year.
10:42It's an actual sport for the Olympics now as well.
10:44It is.
10:45You are.
10:46Yeah.
10:47And you need to be a part of that.
10:48I'm telling you.
10:49She'll be at the party.
10:50I've been bragging about you.
10:52Who else?
10:53Okay.
10:54We've talked to butterfly.
10:55We've talked to the coldest.
10:57Who do you have next?
10:58I just want to bring, uh, one single rose back because she put me in her book.
11:03I am in her book.
11:05I did a women's empowerment event in which you say you pearl when you nasty and then
11:10what you say?
11:11Yes.
11:12How you say it?
11:13One single rose.
11:14One single rose when I'm nice.
11:15Pearl when I'm naughty.
11:16That's what I'm talking about.
11:17Right.
11:18Naughty.
11:19So she was one single rose and it was a women's empowerment event.
11:24And you go by her a table and she says, I'm going to type something.
11:28You go ahead and explain what you say to the people.
11:30So I create haiku, what I call it flyku, which is my take on a 17 syllable poem.
11:35I set up a 1955 Remington writer typewriter, asked people to give me one word.
11:41And then I create a poem based on that word and the energy that the people present.
11:45And Angie presented one word and I created a flyku for her.
11:49And I'm dropping a collection of them.
11:53It's about 130 flyku in this book.
11:55I've created over four or five hundred.
11:57But once I started keeping count, I ended up with this book.
12:01So I'll be dropping it all based on one word from different people at events here in Detroit
12:06and throughout the nation.
12:07So I gave her one word.
12:09That's sweet.
12:10The one word I gave her was radio.
12:12And she wrote, radio chose you to make differences in lives.
12:16Black girl, black girls make magic.
12:19Oh, she said it right.
12:20Hence, from 105.9 KISS FM, Detroit radio personality.
12:23No, that's wrong.
12:24Can I give you a word now?
12:25Period.
12:26Yeah, you can give me a word, but I'm not going to create it right now though.
12:28Why not?
12:29We might do it.
12:30She doesn't have her typewriter.
12:31Yes.
12:32Gotta have the typewriter.
12:33But I got you.
12:34You give me the word, I got you.
12:36You gotta have the typewriter.
12:37We'll get to that later.
12:39All right.
12:40Who else have we not heard from?
12:41I.D.
12:42We got everybody?
12:43Okay, closing thoughts that you wanted to say?
12:47Come out, have a good time.
12:48It's something for everybody.
12:49It's for couples, but it's also for singles and people ready to mix and mingle.
12:53I want people to think it's just for couples only.
12:55Hopefully you come out, have a good time, get ready for Valentine's Day.
12:58You can get tickets on SadalasProductions.com or dial 586-834.
13:05Sexy.
13:06We appreciate you guys for always, you know, giving us a platform too.
13:09And we love you guys.
13:10We love you guys.
13:11Special shout out to Mason and Angie for the platform.
13:15Hey, that's a blessing, seriously.
13:17So thank y'all so, so, so, so very much.
13:20We love y'all.
13:21Mason, you coming to the show?
13:22I don't know.
13:23Come on, Mason.
13:24Come on, Mason.
13:25We thinking about it.
13:26Come on, Mason.
13:27We thinking about it.
13:28I will say, no, go ahead.
13:29Now there's something you don't want to miss now.
13:31Yeah.
13:32Yeah.
13:33We ain't seen.
13:34You got to pull up on this.
13:35Yep.
13:36I got to pull.
13:37Okay.
13:38Okay.
13:39We got Angie's section too.
13:40I got my own little section.
13:41It's toxic, but it's good toxic.
13:43That's what I like.
13:44Toxic, but good toxic.
13:45Listen.
13:46Yeah.
13:47It's going to be a lot of fun.
13:48It's grown.
13:49It's adult.
13:50It's, it's just, it's, it's something that again, like they say, you do not want to miss.
13:54So again, spell that out.
13:56Cause somebody's like, how do I spell that to get tickets?
13:58S O D A L I S and then productions with a S P R O D U T I N O S dot com.
14:08Seven years in.
14:09That's good.
14:10That's one last thing.
14:11Yes.
14:12This is really like a private event, y'all.
14:13You know what I mean?
14:14So it's open to the public, but come in, leave your phones in your purse and in your
14:18pocket.
14:19Cause we're asking you not to use your phones.
14:20Okay.
14:21Out of privacy to all the people that's coming out.
14:23Cause we have a range of people from all heights.
14:25So come on, have a good time.
14:27Don't miss it.
14:28It's going to be February the 10th.
14:29Y'all.
14:30So come on, let's get it.
14:31Where is it again?
14:32At the Athena?
14:33Athena hall.
14:34Yup.
14:35Two, five, six, five Oh, grass.
14:36It's a really, really nice place.
14:38Y'all gonna have a good time.
14:39We promise.
14:40It's going to be good.
14:41I do.
14:42Those people hear about the ABCs, Dick Clarks, all that.
14:46Rose was able to get in touch with Dick Clark.
14:48Wow.
14:49Who wanted to buy a project from me.
14:51Rose also, I think at that time, people talk about the Martin show.
14:57She was the one who had to do all the paperwork for me for Martin.
15:00Wow.
15:01That's how Martin was created in California and all of that kind of stuff.
15:04I also had a group.
15:05She had to work with Madonna and her manager with Maverick Records.
15:12Rose did all that work for me.
15:13And listen, when I say she did the work, I would go like, Rose, I wrote it out, but you can't
15:20understand my spelling.
15:22She would just say, give me the papers.
15:24And I'd get back this dossier that would look like it came from some corporation.
15:29But that's the person who took care of all of my Martin stuff in California and all my Madonna work for me this way.
15:36Love Mason.
15:37And she's a stage manager.
15:38That's why she's in charge.
15:39There you go.

15:41Thank you all.
