00:00Dave's got sports, so we'll see how that goes on Helium.
00:04Well, this is a huge sports day.
00:06We're going to start with football, where the Baltimore Ravens beat Tom Brady and the Bucs on Thursday night football, 27-23,
00:15as the Ravens' Lamar Jackson threw for 238 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions.
00:21He played better.
00:22Jackson also rushed for 43 yards.
00:25Brady threw for 325 yards, but still not enough in the Tampa loss, as the Bucs dropped to 3-5.
00:34And the Ravens have moved to 5-3, and Tom Brady's saying, why did I come back?
00:37Seriously, a serious, crazy turn of events for Tom Brady.
00:41We're hearing yesterday it was dropped that Giselle, it sounded like the ultimatum is real,
00:48rather than just conjecture, which is what most people thought and assumed.
00:54So, multiple sources revealed that Giselle literally has said, you must retire or I'm leaving.
01:01So, I don't know.
01:02Like now, mid-season?
01:03It might even be during the season.
01:05I mean, I don't see Tom doing that.
01:07No.
01:07I mean, even if they're not.
01:08No.
01:09Even if they don't make the playoffs, he's got to finish the season.
01:11No, I don't see him quitting during the year.
01:14So, that's why he looks like hell right now.
01:18This weekend, the Jets at 5-2 take on the Patriots 3-4 at MetLife Stadium.
01:24The Jets are looking to keep the good momentum against a rarely embattled Bill Belichick team.
01:29Kickoff is at 1 o'clock.
01:31Let's go Jets, baby.
01:32I'm picking you for the win today.
01:33The Eagles go against the Steelers in Philadelphia.
01:37Philly remains to stay the only undefeated team in the NFL.
01:41The game is also at 1.
01:43How crazy is it for you Giants fans?
01:45You guys are having a great season, and yet Philly having a better one.
01:49Undefeated.
01:49Yeah.
01:50You know, I'll take it.
01:51I mean, better by a game, and eventually they're going to lose.
01:54I can't imagine Philly's going 17-0 this year.
01:574-25.
01:58The Giants play the Seahawks in Seattle.
02:01Giants 6-1.
02:03Seahawks, though, are a surprising 4-3.
02:05This is a bit of a trap game.
02:07Seattle's a tough place to play.
02:08Giants have to be sharp and look good against this Seattle squad,
02:14which has exceeded expectations.
02:17We're going to stay with football for a second.
02:19This one's surprising.
02:21The Giants are trading wide receiver Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs
02:25for a conditional third-round pick and sixth-round pick.
02:30Wow.
02:30He gets to go to the Chiefs, huh?
02:31This guy is very, very fast and unbelievable athlete.
02:35Now, he has had injury problems.
02:38He is just a two-year player, and he is a Dave Gettleman draft pick.
02:45You think that has something to do with it?
02:46I do.
02:46I think that unless your last name is Barkley and maybe Jones,
02:52because Daniel Jones has played well, especially the last two to three weeks.
02:56Okay.
02:56I think unless you're those two guys,
02:58if you were drafted under the awful, hideous Dave Gettleman regime,
03:03I think you're not safe at all.
03:04Okay.
03:04And while Kadarius Toney, there seemed like there's lots of upside for him,
03:09Giants are going with the draft picks.
03:11Basketball, the Nets lost to the Mavericks last night,
03:13129-125, as Dallas' incredible Luka Doncic,
03:18big-time triple-double, 41 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists.
03:22Meanwhile, the Nets fall to 1-4 for the season, and they look like crap.
03:27Listen, it was a big game for Ben Simmons.
03:29He had his highest point total yet of the season.
03:33Seven whole points, Dave.
03:34Yeah.
03:35Seven.
03:35Seven points, and he didn't foul out.
03:39Unbelievable.
03:40Remember when this guy made the All-Star team like three, four years in a row?
03:44All I do, he is shot as an NBA player.
03:48He needs to, honestly, if I were the Brooklyn Nets,
03:50I would look into voiding the contract and saying,
03:53this guy doesn't want to actually be here.
03:55Seems crazy.
03:56And we need to just part ways.
03:58And if I was Ben Simmons, I'd take a year off.
04:01I'd seriously would go to the beach and decide,
04:04do I want to still be a basketball player?
04:06Or I've made $100 million.
04:08Maybe I don't.
04:09I might be good enough.
04:10Yeah.
04:11Staying with basketball, the Knicks and Sixers were off this evening.
04:15The Knicks take on the Bucs in Milwaukee.
04:17The Sixers play the Raptors in Toronto.
04:18Hockey, the Flyers beat the Panthers 4-3.
04:22The Devils and Rangers were inactive.
04:25This evening, the Devils face the Avalanche in Newark,
04:28and the Rangers next play on Saturday.
04:30And baseball, finally, the World Series kicks off.
04:33Feels like we've been waiting around forever.
04:36This goes down, obviously, between the Philadelphia Phillies
04:39and the Houston Astros.
04:42According to polling on YouGov,
04:4559% of America is pulling for the Phillies.
04:50And if you go state by state,
04:5444 states are pulling for the Phillies
04:58as opposed to just six that are rooting for the Astros.
05:02That's because they're a bunch of cheat nails.
05:04In other words, America has still not gotten over the fact
05:09that the Houston Astros were proven to have cheated in 2017.
05:13And let's just for a brief second point out how awful and stupid baseball was
05:17for not punishing the players at all.
05:20Even more, yeah.
05:21The 1919 Chicago White Sox got banned for life for cheating in the World Series.
05:27And they cheated to lose.
05:29Right.
05:30These guys cheated to win.
05:32And somehow they're still playing.
05:33And meanwhile, listen to that, 44 to 6.
05:36Now all of America basically is saying,
05:39Oh my God, I have to root for Philly now?
05:42That is huge.
05:43All of America is pulling for Philly.
05:45But that's because that's how much we hate the Houston Astros.
05:49So go Phillies.
05:50Win game one tonight.
