00:19All right, so let's talk about Sarah.
00:20How does she serve our community?
00:23She is a firefighter, and she's in paramedic school for Hillsborough County.
00:26Nice. Yay.
00:28Fire medic on the way.
00:29Now, this is pretty cool.
00:30How long has she thought about doing this?
00:32Is this something that she's thought about since she was a little girl?
00:34Actually, about three years.
00:36She was a cheerleader in high school, and she's extremely pretty.
00:39That's awesome.
00:40So what was your first reaction when she told you that she wanted to do this?
00:45Stunned, because she was so shy when she was growing up.
00:47She wouldn't talk to anybody.
00:48I was stunned, but she excelled at everything.
00:51She had to gain 20 pounds to pass the CPAC test.
00:54Oh, she's a tiny little girl.
00:56Oh, yeah.
00:57She's absolutely ripped now.

01:01What makes her special is she gives back, and here's how she's given back.
01:05As soon as she gets through a paramedic, she's getting her certification as a physical fitness trainer,
01:09and she's going to train women how to pass the CPAC test.

01:14That's why she's been suggested for this award.
01:17She's given back.
01:18Well, we are glad you nominated her, and we're glad we get to honor her for First Responder Friday.
01:21You know, I got to tell you, Bobby, I don't think there's any job out there in the world that I would say,
01:26yeah, I'll gain 20 pounds to come work here.
01:28No way.
01:29And I think a lot of women are that way.
01:31Okay, so you have a very special daughter.
01:33She really, really must want to do this.
01:35She does.
01:36She's dedicated, and she shocked me when she asked for it, but she's got an immense amount of willpower,
01:40and she just won't take no for an answer.
01:42Well, she sounds awesome.
01:44Bobby, you sound like a great guy, and it sounds like you have instilled a great work ethic in her.
