00:19We are great. We want to talk to you about your husband, Stephen.
00:22Tell us how he serves our community as a First Responder.
00:25He actually works for Hillsborough County, Far Red Hill.
00:29And it just makes us proud.
00:31And how long has he been on the job?
00:32He has actually been a firefighter for 20-plus years.
00:36Oh, I love that. And how long have you guys been married?
00:39We are actually going—we had just celebrated our 22 wedding anniversary this December.
00:46Wow. So his entire career, you've been next to him as he's been a firefighter.
00:50Yes. Actually, yes.
00:51Oh, that's great.
00:53Well, now, let me ask you a question.
00:54What do you think brought him in—I know you were talking about how he loves to care for others
00:57and how he makes those sacrifices, but what do you think his calling was to this line of work?
01:02Okay. So, kind of a sad story.
01:04We lost our first baby at full term.
01:09And he decided at that point he was going to make a difference in someone else's life.
01:14And that brought him into being a firefighter and, you know, helping save others.
01:19It's very powerful.
01:21I mean, within tragedy, he found a calling in this.
01:24Yes, absolutely.
01:26So, Tamiza, let me ask you, what are some things that you guys like to do when he's not working?
01:29We love to go fishing.
01:31Okay.
01:31And my son actually designed at Weber International University this December, too.
01:38So, we're always at the baseball field as well.
01:40Oh, nice. Congratulations to him as well. That's great.
