01:58Laura in Huntersville good morning good morning good morning guys how are you we're good Laura tell us about your the mystery in your life well it was about my cousin and he died a few years ago in it was like upstate New York and they said that he had fallen off a ladder
02:28he fell off the ladder but everybody knows that his girlfriend totally had something to do with it she rattled the ladder she pushed him or something because my I mean even mom and daddy know it
02:40they were arguing for three days straight before he died and he told me that she was going to do something to him he just knew it
02:48oh I mean what do you know there he falls to his death off off a ladder mysteriously I have like goosebumps but the police not question her or charge her was she at the house at the time
03:01yep she was at the house and she passed the polygraph test so they let her go
03:07um but I mean she was always mean as a snake I mean she probably opened up the window and shook the ladder and he made him fall
03:14there's just nothing in my mind that says that she's okay
03:18wow okay so I mean were they fighting over something serious or was it like
03:22you didn't put the dishes in the dishwasher last night
03:26she picked it everything don't wear that shirt I don't like it don't sit that way I don't like it
03:32don't put your coffee on the table I don't like it go go in the kitchen over the sink and eat
03:37I mean it was just you can't have a plate and eat at the counter
03:41yeah I mean every little thing was just such a nightmare
03:44Lauren are you like trying to figure out a way for her to justify herself from knocking him off the ladder
03:48you were like did the crime fit the crime no no no no that's not what I'm trying to do here
03:53but I'm thinking to myself like would somebody like
03:56if somebody found out of infidelity or you know what I mean and maybe
04:02something I'm not saying I'm not trying to justify in any way shape or form
04:07I'm just saying that like if they were fighting for three days over putting the dishes in the dishwasher
04:12it probably doesn't constitute somebody being pushed off a ladder
04:16yeah and on these murder mysteries Laura and in your situation with the police in upstate New York there
04:20like they feel like they have enough evidence to say that it was an accident and the case is closed
04:24like they feel like that's a solved case and on these podcasts the same thing happens right Ren

04:39oh man I just yeah with this whole uptake in murder mystery podcast I just I've been thinking
04:46about my boyfriend who you know I think about him every day but like I just I tell you guys about
04:53it he died um while he was on like a hunting trip in Montana and um like his mama called me and
05:02asked me if I had heard from him it was like a week after he got back and oh geez so I like
05:08randomly called his phone and this guy picked up out of breath and told me he didn't know my ex and he
05:15said don't call this number no more hold on Bethany so so just back up for a minute he goes away to
05:22Montana yeah and then his mom calls you and says hey have you heard from your ex and you're supposed
05:27to be back by now and and you say no right then you call his phone number and somebody that's not
05:34him picks up exactly some weird weird guy out of breath telling me not to call the phone anymore
05:41and you told the police this obviously yes I did but they I mean they filed a report that just says
05:49he was shot while walking in front of a weapon that you know misfired or something and
05:54it was a hunting accident oh so you know he was shot so it's not like he fell off a cliff or
06:00anything like that like he was shot and killed yeah wow and I mean to find out that way you know
06:08what I mean like it's not even like the police identified him called the mom like he was gone
06:14for long enough in another state where you had to go looking for yeah his whereabouts yes I feel like
06:22something really went weird on that trip and that it just you know it's just like it's not right
06:28Bethany do you know the people that he went hunting with or was this like he met up with people who were
06:34local there I'm not sure what his plans were I don't I don't know them personally if he you know I
06:42don't know they weren't dating at the time they were it was his ex we were sort of like you know in
06:48different circles of that time so I'm not sure who he went with do you think Bethany that the guy
06:53you spoke with and be honest was the guy that pulled the trigger I mean that's how I feel in my
07:00heart you know I don't know how can I know but like he did not sound right creepy all right thanks
07:07for the call Bethany and obviously we feel for all these stories yeah uh you know we're here thinking
07:13creepy this is crazy but you know uh our caller lost a cousin and Bethany lost an ex-boyfriend
07:20and these these are real things all right you want to do another round I know there's more people on
