00:00Well, you need to correct your age. You're a liar. You've treated me like a liar. So why do you threaten me with knives?
00:07You're a liar. You are a liar. You are a liar. You are a liar. You are a liar. You are a liar.
00:11But will DNA results reveal her biological father?
00:14Liar. Liar. Now you need to see it. And when we get this result, you tell this girl.
00:24A family in turmoil. You're never there for me. Why are you lying for?
00:28Never there. Never there. You've been there once. Once. And the whole time. Once. And the whole time.
00:34Your attitude is... Oh, Vicky. Vicky. Vicky's there for me.
00:38She's been there for the past two and a half years.
00:40The wife who found another woman's hair in her husband's bed.
00:44You've seen no one. There was blonde hairs in your jeans. I know.
00:47Hears all over a blow at bed. Not me. Just a reasonable explanation.
00:51Which is what? Where's the explanation? I'm Dak. That's all on my show. It's next.
00:58Hello, good morning and a big, big welcome to the show.
01:18Now, today we'll be taking a look back at some of the most memorable shows of 2011 before our new shows start next week on a brand new set.
01:26You might just remember Pat who came to the show to prove to daughter Chantelle that the man she had recently been reunited with was her biological father.
01:34Pat claimed that since reuniting with a potential father, Chantelle had turned against her and was making her life a misery.
01:40Let's take a look back at what happened.
01:42Chantelle is your daughter.
01:44Yeah.
01:45Today we will do a DNA test on Chantelle to discover whether Gary is her biological father.
01:52You say, I am here to prove that he is the dad.
01:56That's right, yeah.
01:57I have never lied to you, Chantelle. It's time the truth came out.
02:00That's right, yeah.
02:01Let's go back to you and Gaz then. Was it a long-term relationship?
02:05No. It was just a nightstand for a couple of times.
02:11Okay. Pregnancy wasn't planned?
02:13No.
02:14What was he like when you told him that you were pregnant?
02:16I just told him that I was expecting his baby.
02:18Was he good? Was he helpful? Did he come to the scans? What was he like?
02:21No, he didn't come to know the scans. Not at all. I went by myself.
02:25You told my team he was a useless dad. He wasn't at the scans. He missed the birth?
02:29Yep.
02:30Has he bought her or done anything for her?
02:32He's bought my baby's pram.
02:34You told my team as well that at four months he gave away all parental rights?
02:38Yes, he did.
02:39How? What happened?
02:40It was Christmas 1994. I was expecting my third child.
02:46He'd come up and he said to me and my partner, who I'm with now, told me that he doesn't
02:54want parent guide rights.
02:55Well, he just wasn't interested. You told my team he couldn't cope with her crying?
02:58That's right.
02:59You just give your kid away because you can't stand crying.
03:03Has he ever been in her life on a regular basis or not?
03:06He's been a few times in her life, but not all the time. I would say about eight times.
03:14You've always told him he is the dad, he's always known, he just doesn't bother.
03:17No, he's not bothered at all.
03:19But if that's the case, and I'm sat here this morning doing a DNA test, I'm thinking why
03:24am I bothering? Because not only has he been in her life and then disappeared, but what,
03:28is he now doubting paternity? Why?
03:30I would gather so, because his thing's been saying that he ain't the dad.
03:34She has had some quite well documented behavioural problems, we'll talk about that in a while.
03:37Yes.
03:38You sort of think that's because he hasn't been around, right?
03:40I would say so, yeah.
03:41Let's talk about you and Chantal. It ain't great at the moment.
03:44Nope, not at all.
03:45When was the last time you saw her?
03:48Er, I haven't seen Chantal for about, last time I saw her about three months ago.
03:57Why have she and you split? What's she done that's upset you?
04:01Er, she threatened me with knives. She's put knives up to my face and to my throat.
04:09I've had to, she's smashed up her bedroom, what we've done for her.
04:15Do you think it's the influence of him then all of a sudden, or has that just been her behaviour anyway?
04:20Both, I think.
04:21So you've done your best as a mum?
04:23I've done what I can for her now.
04:25And the one thing that you wanted to say, and I know that you said it to my team so much, is that,
04:29Chantal, I have never lied to you, I've always been up front, I've always been straight, right?
04:33That's right, yeah.
04:34Alright, well let's get her out, there are of course two sides to every story.
04:36Chantal's on the show, ladies and gentlemen.
04:43Liar. Liar. Liar.
04:45Well you need to grow up your age.
04:47You're a liar.
04:48You've treated me like a liar.
04:50So why do you threaten me with knives?
04:51You're a liar.
04:52You're a liar.
04:53You are a liar.
04:54You're a liar.
04:55You're a liar.
04:56Go back with it.
04:57Go on.
04:58You too, you little .
05:01You're a liar.
05:02You're a liar.
05:03You're a liar.
05:04What are you there, you stupid .
05:06You're a liar.
05:07You've lied to me for 16 years of my life.
05:09Now I know what I told you about this.
05:11Shout out, oi, oi.
05:12Oi, look at me.
05:13Look at me.
05:14That is your flesh and blood.
05:16Sorry.
05:17You disgusting human being.
05:18OK.
05:19OK.
05:20OK.
05:21You, you're a liar.
05:23OK.
05:24We will hear your side of this story.
05:26Because it's important.
05:28Your mum said, and I quote, I never lied to you.
05:32You tell this audience from day one what you were told as to who was your father.
05:37My stepdad.
05:38You were told that your stepdad was your father until Gary turned up out of the blue when you were how old?
05:45Thirteen.
05:46Answer that then.
05:47No, she was told when she was much more younger than that.
05:51You told me that you always told her the truth.
05:54When did you tell her that her stepdad wasn't her dad and it was indeed Gary?
05:58I told her when she was four years old.
06:01That her stepdad wasn't her real father.
06:03Is that true?
06:04No.
06:05What was being brought up like by this lady?
06:06It's really important that you explain this to the audience.
06:09It was hell.
06:10Hell.
06:11Why?
06:12Because I never got anything off her.
06:13All she's done is lied to me.
06:14She don't buy me nothing.
06:15I had to ask my own partner to get me stuff.
06:18She didn't have anything that is for me.
06:20What about when you were kids, clothes, food?
06:23When it was up to eleven I was fine.
06:25And then as soon as I hit eleven, because I got kicked out of school, she made me the way I am.
06:30She got expelled from school.
06:32She told her she didn't clothe her, you didn't feed her, you didn't do anything for her.
06:35That's a lie.
06:36You're a liar?
06:37That's all you ever do is lie.
06:38Tell the truth.
06:39I'm telling you the truth.
06:40No you ain't.
06:41Oh, I'm a liar then, yeah?
06:42Yeah, you are.
06:43Oh, we're seeding shall we?
06:44Have you ever, ever, ever told her Gary's not her dad?
06:46I've never said that.
06:47I've never said that.
06:48I've always said to her, if you want to go and see your father, go and see him.
06:52So she says she's always told you it's Gary.
06:53You're saying you thought it was your stepdad?
06:54Yeah.
06:55I always knew it was my stepdad.
06:56Until I got hold of my birth certificate.
06:57When was that?
06:58I was 13.
06:59How did you get hold of it?
07:00I went to Woodridge Town Hall and I asked them for my birth certificate and it got posted
07:11to me on that file.
07:12What did it say on the birth certificate under father?
07:13I opened it.
07:14It said Gary's lorry driver.
07:16I turned around and said to him, my stepdad, your name ain't Gary, so who is Gary?
07:21And he turned around and said, oh, he's your dad.
07:23How did you explain that then?
07:25I told her when we was living down in Kent.
07:28Because she went to me as that man, I went, that is your real dad.
07:32So you're saying that she never told you Gary was your dad?
07:34She never told me, no.
07:35She always pretended it with your stepfather.
07:36Yeah.
07:37Right, okay, fair enough.
07:38So there are different sides to every story.
07:39You and your mum have, to be fair, always been at logheads and you have not, and I have
07:44to make this point, you've been a right pain in the backside, haven't you?
07:47Yeah, I have.
07:48You've done some quite bad things.
07:49I have, I've put my hands on to her.
07:50I have, I've been a bad child.
07:51Why?
07:52I can't explain why, but I know I've been bad.
07:54I can't make up for what I've done.
07:55I've tried and tried and she just throws it back in my face.
07:58She's always treated me like a bit of dirt with all the text messages.
08:01Yeah, I have slated her off on text messages.
08:03Oh, my partner.
08:04And she's your favourite child, yeah?
08:06She used to be such a...
08:07She's your favourite child, yeah?
08:08She's always been my favourite child.
08:09She's been living in an hostel for five months and you haven't seen her.
08:12That is a lie.
08:13You kicked me out when I hit 16.
08:14You went to your cousins over East London.
08:15I was in a tent for three months.
08:17Who are you living with now?
08:19I live with my partner.
08:20You don't like her partner, do you?
08:22I used to like Vicky until she started.
08:24That's Vicky in the audience there, yeah?
08:25Why don't you like Vicky?
08:26Because she came to my place and told me that she wanted to pick some bits up.
08:31And I went, okay, then.
08:32And I noticed there was a few bruises on her arm.
08:34And I said, where did you get them?
08:35She went, Vicky hit me.
08:36Vicky, you miked?
08:37Huh?
08:38You miked, yeah?
08:39Have you ever, have you ever hit Chantelle?
08:41No, never.
08:42What do you make of this lady?
08:43I don't like her.
08:44She's a horrible mother to Chantelle.
08:46I had no horrible mother, mate.
08:48You are?
08:49I've always been here for her.
08:50She eats at a dog bowl, darling.
08:51That's what you call a mother.
08:53You make your own daughter eat at a dog bowl.
08:55No, darling, that's not a mother.
08:56She made her eat at a dog bowl?
08:57Yeah, at a dog bowl.
08:58What?
08:59You're lying.
09:00You're a liar, Chantelle.
09:01She's lying.
09:02Who are you?
09:03I've been friends with Pat for 17 years.
09:05Oh, you're Sue, right?
09:06I've watched her grow up.
09:07What sort of mother was she?
09:09She's done the best she could do.
09:11This girl here and the family, I just don't know what to say.
09:15You're wrong-un.
09:16You've pulled a knife to your mum.
09:18I've pulled a knife to your mum.
09:19Yes, so are you.
09:20So are you, darling.
09:21Come on then, darling.
09:22She's wrong, yeah?
09:23Who's the one that brought her up for nine years?
09:25Not you.
09:26Your mum just come into the family, love.
09:28Oh, really, yeah?
09:29You don't really know what's going on.
09:30She cares about because she's a lesbian, darling.
09:31Is that all right?
09:32No, I don't think so.
09:33Who cares about being a lesbian?
09:34She does what she wants to do.
09:36Right after the break, how will Pat's ex respond to her allegations?
09:40Don't go anywhere, because I'm right back.
09:42You told him at four months old he was not Chantel's father,
09:46and you wasn't even on the seat until she was six months old.
09:49So what are you talking about?
09:51I know a lot, don't I, Trace?
09:52You don't, Sue.
09:53What the hell who punched her in the face while she was on her baby?

10:29Gary joined them on my stage let's bring it back to Gary you're saying I always told her Gary was
10:36the dad you say to my team today I will prove a hundred percent that he is the dad and what did
10:41he tell you about what he knew because she said he gave up parental rights at four months and
10:45disappeared he looked after me when I was up to four months is that true no he's got paid
10:49he didn't get Gary out he's on the show Gary ladies and gentlemen now you need to see it and when we
11:03get this result yeah should she come back not mine you tell this girl the truth oh you don't know what
11:14she's really like can we go back to the beginning you and and and Pat you had this one or two night
11:20stand she says she gets pregnant she tells you you do one let's see your side of the story total rubbish
11:26yeah I did not do one me and Pat had an agreement with Chantel on which I had a property Pat had a
11:34property I'd have Pat Chantel over in the week or weekends or Pat would have it as reverser is it true
11:41that you had her for four months yes what on your own no between us we worked it so is it true that
11:48four months you said I can't cope anymore with a crying I don't want any parental rights no what
11:53actually happened then Pat come to me with my following on partner and said that she didn't want
12:01me to have nothing to do with Chantel because I wasn't Chantel biological father
12:06liar liar
12:08you never said that at all
12:10and and did you ever tell him he wasn't the dad no I never said that at all
12:14from then on do you want to come on stage can you get me a chair please keep shouting out the audience let's get her on
12:20your mate Sue carry on all right from then on I had no contact with Chantel so you get told at
12:27four months the kids not yours you do when you're not involved you don't want to know yeah yeah and
12:32then the next thing you know at 13 she finds you and you sit down and you tell her your side of
12:36this story I tell her my side of the story and I don't tell her that I'm not the potential father
12:41because she's 13 years of age I don't want to destroy her life do you not think you're her father
12:46uh on 30 30 she's under percent I'm 30 she says you told her from day one it was a stepdad at 11
12:56you said that's what she said no that's wrong would talk to her it's not me you've talked to your kids
13:01you talk to her it's I told her from when we moved down to care that Gary was always her father she
13:07doesn't hang down to when I was living in Kent and she said to me who's that man I went that is
13:11your real father how old was she um no it does not go like that seven what you said you told her
13:17yeah then but he wasn't around that much tell me what she said well I came home from school in
13:23Hexford down in Kent and he was outside my animal I was 11 and I said to my mum who is he and she goes
13:31he's no one go back inside no I told her straight that he's a father you're saying she told you you
13:39weren't the dad and that's why he disappeared you're saying he was a useless dad he didn't
13:42turn up and didn't want to know he came to it when I was living down in Kent why is it that you and
13:47he are so close he might not be your dad I'm not trying to sugar I'm just being honest I mean
13:51he says he's only 30 percent sure I feel sorry for you I mean what if he's not I'll be devastated
13:55really will be who's the other potential father then he's no longer around so it never was the
14:01upset father then no so if the other potential partner yeah who I'm married to yeah he brought
14:09her up in your mind how sure are you that Gary's the dad 50 50 sorry how can you have told you said
14:2010 minutes ago on this stage you've always told her it's Gary yeah I've always told her you're now 50
14:2550 then I could say 50 50 could be it could be it's a dad for God's sake how do you expect it
14:31I just opiate her father I'll be honest with you what I opiate her father but what you're saying is
14:37I've got a girl saying you told her it was a stepdad you're saying that's not true you said I've always
14:42told her it's Gary now you say well there's another bloke who's sadly deceased it might be him
14:46who's her dad him he just said you're only 50 50 that he's the dad he was but now what do you mean
14:52you thought he was but now what I want him to be her father I was a joke she's a joke Gary yeah
14:58you're saying she was told you you weren't I was told at four months old that I wasn't the daughter
15:04and that um father I wasn't the father of Chantelle which I left alone this is a child of 16 is
15:11devastated what do you want to her you're supposed to you gave birth to her I have done a lot
15:16you're supposed to aren't you yes but you don't feel you've been there for her well she says I mean
15:28talk to your mum she won't do she won't talk she says you were a good mum you say she you made me
15:33out of a dog bowl and you've always made me feel like that's what she said liar yeah you are a liar
15:38Chantelle okay yeah if you say so you don't know if I don't know yeah okay so why is she like this
15:43then I think it's a bit to do with him that her father weren't in the house but she's basically
15:49she's from the age of about three she was just horrible horrible you have to see it to believe
15:59Chantelle is it true that your mother ever told you that she wishes she'd had an abortion yes
16:02I don't believe in abortions I have never ever said that I don't believe in abortions I wish you
16:10dropped dead maybe said that but you did tell my researchers and I quote I do actually want to
16:15smack her in the mouth the way she's treated me yeah because what she's put me through yeah but I
16:20won't do it she's appalling she disgusts me that's what you told my researchers that's your daughter
16:26that's your flesh and blood she's hurt me too much for 10 years have you hurt her yeah I have
16:33yeah I have I've been horrible to her I've slated her off in text messages but I don't deserve what
16:37she has done she say when she found out that you were a lesbian oh you ain't my daughter my daughter
16:42ain't a lesbian out of my house no she my partner was there when this happened she went to she had
16:48to take her cousin's house for three months did you say that about her sexuality oh no I just said
16:54if you want to be a lesbian be a lesbian who's Tracy again your sister you don't like Tracy no I don't
17:00like it when she's asking me for 21 years almost I think probably interesting let's get Tracy on the
17:05show ladies and gentlemen you told him at four months old he was not Shantel's father and you
17:17wasn't even on the stage she was six months old so what are you talking about I know a lot don't I
17:23trace you don't you punched her in the face while she was on her baby oh no you know you're getting
17:27all that wrong she come back and told you her and you come seven-handed to kiss her pregnant my
17:35pregnant sister-in-law the school phone me tell me that you've punched her in the face
17:48you are what's your take apparently you've known Pat for 21 years did she or did she not tell your
18:00brother that he wasn't the dad at first she told him he was the father right and I used to have a
18:08really good French did he bring did he bring the kid up did he bring sorry Shanta did he bring Shantel
18:12up did he help those they shared her for the first four months either she'd have him for five days that
18:18what happened then after four months after four months Pat told Gary that Malcolm was his father and
18:26that um he was that was deceased yeah but hold on a second he didn't you go around when he had the
18:34baby and say give her back to me she's not yours and I'll do you for kidnap no that's what they told
18:39that's new to me okay you did say that no I never do you believe that your brother is her father no I'm
18:48I'm here today for Shantel to find out the truth and to me to put my mind to rest no other reason
18:55what's the best option for you not for arguments not for brows what's the best option with anybody
18:59what's the best option for Shantel's interest as well as my own
19:03for her and for you the best outcome would be that you are her dad right you've always said that
19:17you thought he was yeah well let's do it let's do this all important DNA results while we came here
19:27ladies and gentlemen thank you you're right how sure are you that Gary's the dad you're not sure
19:38how sure are you that Gary is her father tell me a hundred percent half an hour ago 50 50 50 50 yeah
19:51I just want to say something can I please go on I'm sorry to both of you listen to her but I've
19:58been put through a lot with Shantel I don't you think in the past you've been a really good friend
20:05to me I know I'm sorry that I had this is had to come like this how sure are you that your brother
20:11is not her father 90 percent what's your ideal scenario here that he is your dad I want him to be
20:17the DNA test results show that Gary that's your dad
20:47all right thank you can I make a could I make a really boring judgment or comment here yeah do
21:04you not think it's time we put all this rubbish behind us all this is all I came here for I know
21:08I mean to argue with her but even with her do you not think it's time that everybody just put it behind
21:13themselves and got on with life just just stay there one second all right hey feeling gonna make
21:19it just think 16 years of Christmas presents and birthdays he owes you a shed load of Wonga trust me
21:24just trust me on one thing don't you don't need to say listen to me right and she's right and she
21:41will we be mates her and me listen right I'm not stupid okay there's no doubt that there's been right
21:48and wrong on both sides but you know the best thing about today the kid has the result she knows the truth
21:54but you know what you need to do you need to come out there and shake her by the end and if nothing
21:58happens after that fine but you need to show that you're a better person than somebody walking off
22:01and she needs to come with you because you're better than that and I'm not even going to stand it
22:04just come with me you're all right seriously just hold that all right
22:08you're going to need to hold that right up to your mouth I have to say this because it's called the
22:20Jeremy Carlson you're going to all listen to me right the biggest tragedy ever on this show is when
22:26kids don't know the truth or when kids are treated badly or when kids are left high and dry I'm just
22:32simply asking this not you not you just sit backstage in aftercare just have a chat there's 20 minutes
22:40out your life okay don't even look at me like that yeah promise yes three of you yeah definitely
22:46good now I've been in contact with Pat since the show and this is what she told me she says Jez
22:52since I appeared I no longer have any contact with my daughter Chantel she was giving me so much abuse
22:58and even made threats towards me I've tried my best with Chantel but now I have to wash my hands of her
23:03I'm now focusing on the rest of my life and I'm looking forward to the future now Chantel
23:09returned to the show with Gary for a second time because Gary claimed their relationship
23:13had also reached breaking point find out what happened after this break your problem is not
23:19with me with your mum it's you and your partner it's you well then fair enough I had nothing to
23:25do with you for today on good I hope you drop dead you mean nothing to me anymore
23:39welcome back now today I'm revisiting some of the most memorable shows of 2011 before
23:44that break DNA proved that Gary was indeed Chantel's father however their relationship
23:49started to break down just 10 weeks after being reunited Gary claimed his daughter was an attention
23:54seeker and a troublemaker and wanted to know why things had turned so sour so soon let's find out
23:59what happened you find out last time that this girl's your daughter we sat and we listened to a
24:06mother giving it large about how much of a pain she was and I got quite angry with the mother to be
24:11honest because I thought she was you know at best disinterested she seemed to be all about me it was
24:18all that hard time and Chantel's this and so we put you together and you try and be a dad
24:24what's the last 10 weeks been like at first not too sad I took Chantel tried to get Chantel
24:34house Chantel got evicted from a hostel she was in through keeping a partner Vicky there and
24:41shouldn't I tried everything we went to the point which is a place to try to deal with getting her
24:50back into work and getting her somewhere to live up to the point with Guinness council went to see
24:57solicitor to try and get her property with my daughter sure the truth is in ten short weeks
25:03this guy who had no idea about her being his has tried to do everything and how has she repaid you
25:10truthfully she has tried to be a daughter but when her and Vicky have problems she's constantly on the
25:19phone now in the 10 weeks that I have been in a proper relationship with Chantel I can see now
25:26that her mum is not the liar well that's interesting got a statement from Pat since the last show Gaz and
25:32I have been getting on great but Chantel is still the lying horrible cow she's always been I've had 10
25:37years of abuse from her and I feel sorry for Gary having to deal with her now I told Gary from the
25:42start what she's really like and I'm glad he can finally see for what she is I want nothing more to do
25:46with her as far as I'm concerned she's no daughter of mine she's my daughter I will always be there
25:51for her but you're not happy with the way she's not tell them about what happened last week because
25:56just imagine you find out you've got a kid and just imagine you got a family you got a life you're
26:01trying to do everything tell them about the phone call because this is disgusting I get I got a phone
26:06call last week saying for dad can you come down and see me I need to talk to you face to face and it
26:13was quite a panic I mean it was like I need to see you I need to see you right yeah I don't when I got
26:18down there and I tried to watch and tell what's going on the action I got was oh I just find you to see
26:27whether you'd come can I say something without you taking this the wrong way just because you've done
26:3210 weeks of effort doesn't mean you can't tell her the truth and how it is you don't have to kowtow to her
26:37no this is what Chantelle doesn't agree with I tried to bring Chantelle into the place in the same
26:43way as I have all my other children if you're phoned up and you're abusive to me I will not
26:48answer the phone you said to my team as well that that at some points in the last 10 weeks you think
26:54to yourself it would have been easy if I found out she wasn't mine uh yeah probably but she is mine
27:00and I cannot change that she is my doorway and I will always be her father let's get her out Chantelle
27:06ladies and gentlemen what little mate he pops babies like it's nothing he talked he's tried to
27:23do everything for you for the last 10 weeks no he's been there at all he's been there once
27:27all he had is give me 10 pound and that's it he's never there for me well you need to speak to him
27:31don't you know you're never there for me why are you lying for never there never that you've been there
27:34once once the whole time I have no no but your attitude is oh Vicky Vicky Vicky's there
27:43she's been there for the past two and a half years you have only been with her a year your problem is
27:48not with me with your mum it's you and your partner you well then fair enough I had nothing to do
27:54do you think that that outburst was acceptable no do you think that outburst was acceptable well
28:06yeah what is he not done he hasn't done anything Jeremy what do you mean by that he hasn't he's
28:10never been there for me yeah well he says in the last 10 weeks he's tried to get you into a house into
28:15work into training all of this and all you've done is throw it back I need your side no he hasn't he's
28:20took me to the point once yeah as soon as it was like bye bye Chantelle basically goodbye no
28:25apparently you were in hospital tell us about that yeah I was I had problems with my kidneys I was in
28:30there for three days and my partner Vicky rang up just a base key we didn't get is that true no
28:36what happened when you decided to move away from the area recently oh he told me basically he swore
28:41and his dad's ashes he'll come and see me the night before I was due to go and he didn't even turn up
28:45why was that because because I've heard this many a times I'm going to exit I'm going to lecture I'm
28:51going to it and she never goes do you think that it is a teenager who's a bit hacked off by the fact
28:56that you haven't been around who thinks right now I'm going to score a few cheap points and make sure
29:00I make him understand just how difficult I can be because he is my dad and he hasn't been around for
29:06me you're overreacting by saying I want nothing more to do with you maybe there are people watching
29:10this you think that actually the balls in your court you should be bending over backwards to do
29:14anything and I have done over 10 weeks yeah it's nothing no I understand I understand but I can
29:22also understand exactly how our mum feels 10 weeks does that not state enough it does mate but
29:28it doesn't sound very good to tell by both her parents that she's such a nightmare they want
29:31nothing more to do with it when they were the people who brought her into this world you're here
29:35with Tracy your sister right you said you saw her recently what happened she just totally banked me in the
29:39jobs at her she was with her son and they were talking on the phone don't know if she saw me
29:44but I waved to her and basically it was like whatever well you can't say you don't know whether
29:47she saw you and say she blanks you Tracy's on the show ladies and gentlemen
29:50just blanked you did I you asked yourself why do we are or what you've been how you've been treating him
30:01for the past 10 weeks done nothing for you Shantel who are you kidding he's dropped all his other kids
30:06running round off you non-stop for the past 10 weeks and been to the point once with you has
30:10he yeah I don't think so just moving up the point and find out Shantel and he only went to the
30:15housing once with you did he yeah what Greenwich Council did he yeah you can even ring Greenwich
30:20yeah you're chatting out your house yeah all right love yeah how would you know you've never even
30:24been there Tracy I know I was there at the point with him uh at the point when he was in there
30:28sorting it out with you so Trace what you're saying is is that this guy's doing everything and she
30:32treats him like dirt yeah yeah why do you think that is she's probably rebelling where he ain't been
30:37around but that wasn't his fault that he wasn't around for all them years was it so why treat him
30:41like that answer that question what I'm not repeating it ask her to repeat it pin back your love
30:47are you treating him the way you are because it weren't his fault he went around you for years
30:51is it the past 10 weeks he's been over backwards for you and you're sitting there like a sport brat
30:55your way or the highway Shantel innit yeah of course yeah what's your what's your feeling on
31:02her relationship your girlfriend Vicky yeah you seem to think that she's responsible for a lot of
31:06this what's your view she's caused nothing but problems how long you been with Vicky two years
31:11we're gonna get your girlfriend out we're gonna move this chair can you come and move this chair
31:14please actually I'll tell you what don't worry you move there sorry you move this get Vicky on the
31:19show ladies and gentlemen you look after her yeah the girl been homeless for how long you say you look
31:32after her are you done what Vicky what you've done what do you do guys what did you do you do
31:38could I get you on the bus the girl been using for longer for 10 years now yeah
31:42yeah you've only none later so stop psyching the rubbish what do you want me to know where she
31:47right now come on off where she's living she's eating Devon now why does she live in Devon
31:52With your brother with your brother my dad is more of a dad teller than you'll ever be, alright?
31:59Good, good. It's a bit of a cheap shot. It's a bit of a cheap shot, isn't it?
32:03No, because he doesn't care. Why did you tell my researchers I don't want to sit near Gary because I'm frightened of him?
32:08I ain't frightened of him. There'll be any person who came out here and you got straight in his face.
32:11I don't care. I ain't frightened of him. He says he doesn't know what to do because you lot are arguing the whole time and he's stuck in the middle.
32:17No, we don't argue. We argue because them lot get involved in our relationship.
32:21Shall I tell you what I think? I think there's one liar on this stage. I think there's one attention seeker and one person who likes to twist the truth to get a reaction.
32:32Now, before you jump up and down and throw a hissy fit, I get that you're pretty hacked off, that your dad hasn't been in your life, but you know that isn't his fault, do you?
32:42And in the last ten weeks, all this guy has tried to do, and I believe him and Tracy, and you can do that face, darling.
32:48But if I was you, I'd park your backside and listen to somebody tell you the truth for a change.
32:52Yes, you've every reason to be hacked off that he hasn't been around, but he can't have done any more than he's done.
32:58And you've been found out. You should be there! In the last ten weeks!
33:01Oh, shut up! I don't have to listen to your f*****!
33:06Chantelle, you have to calm down, darling. No, you don't! I just heard what he and me like!
33:10Yes, I do, and I was trying to... Look at me. Chantelle, look at him.
33:14Shush, shush, shush, leave this to me. Seriously, listen to me.
33:17I got halfway through saying to you, right? I get that you've a whole load of reasons to be annoyed,
33:24but you are going to be honest to me now. Nobody else. Move. Seriously, just chill.
33:29You're hacked off, aren't you? Yeah, I am, but he hasn't been there at all.
33:33Let's just say, in the last ten weeks, in his mind he's done enough and in yours he hasn't, right?
33:39He hasn't been there at all. Listen, all right. Maybe he doesn't know.
33:43Maybe rather than saying things to get a reaction, which you have done, haven't you?
33:48A few times. Yeah, which I get. OK, this is what I'm getting to.
33:51Maybe we need to help you educate him about how he can be a good dad.
33:56I've got it! But I don't think he gets it.
33:59And I think Tracey and her get involved, and this has to be about you and him sitting down
34:04and you saying, I need this, I'm sorry I've been a bit of a liar, I'm sorry I've said things,
34:09and him saying, well, I need to do more, because everybody else has been involved
34:13and you two haven't been allowed to bond, right?
34:15Yeah, but he hasn't been there in the ten weeks, I can't tell you that.
34:18Look at me, look at me. I can make this work if you come with me, OK?
34:21And you're going to stay here. Is that all right?
34:23Well, then Tracey's going off then. She's going... Oi! Stop it! Come with me now.
34:26Seriously. Give her a round of applause, ladies and gentlemen.
34:29Thank you very much, Tracey. Right, come here. No. There.
34:38You haven't been around, whether that's your fault or not.
34:41She's hacked off, aren't you? She's missed out.
34:44Birthdays, Christmases, and her dad's love, and so when she finds you,
34:48Chantelle, stay with me, she's going to upset you.
34:52She's going to do it because she sort of feels like you owe her. Is that right?
34:56He does. He owes me a lot. He has never been there.
34:59Then say it to him calmly. Tell him what you've missed out.
35:02Tell him how you feel. Nicely.
35:04I feel like you're there for your other kids, not me.
35:07It's not right, don't tell you. You know that's not right.
35:09Listen, but that's how it feels in her head.
35:12Just had enough of it. I texted you, and then I'll leave you about half an hour,
35:16then I'll ring you, and you just don't answer. I can understand you're busy,
35:19but it's just nice for you to ring me to see how I am.
35:22You didn't even ring me to see if I got back to Devon, OK?
35:25And can I say something now to flip it, because you're going to be an adult,
35:28because you're going to sort this?
35:30When you want to get a reaction or you want to get attention,
35:33what you can't do is make things up or fabricate the truth to get that reaction,
35:38because people in the end will go, can't be bothered.
35:41What you both need to do in a calm environment,
35:44which is what we always do after all of this backstage to make it work,
35:48is find out from each other by listening how this relationship can work,
35:52what actually you want and what you want.
35:56This, and I'm absolutely being serious here,
35:59this is exactly the sort of reason why the Jeremy Carr Show has an aftercare department
36:03that have worked so closely for six and a half years,
36:05because we can do this if people go in there with an open mind,
36:08and they open their ears, and they speak, and they listen, and they do it properly.
36:11Do you want to do that?
36:12Yes.
36:13Do you want to do that?
36:14No.
36:15There's no point anymore. I've tried.
36:17No, you know, right, now listen to me, listen to me, right?
36:20You would not be here, listen to me, and you wouldn't be so upset,
36:24and you wouldn't be so angry if you didn't want a relationship with your dad.
36:27Well, I'm telling you that if you take the time to let us help you,
36:31we can achieve that.
36:32We can get every bit of frustration and every bit of anger,
36:35but you've got to trust me, right? Yes or no?
36:37Yeah.
36:38So we've been in contact with Chantelle and Gary since they were on the show,
36:41and this is what they told me.
36:42Gary says,
36:43Just after the show, I found out that everything Pat had said about our daughter Chantelle was true.
36:47She's lied to me constantly and has been a nightmare, so I decided to stop contact.
36:51Now, hopefully, one day she'll change her ways, and then maybe we can have a relationship,
36:55but right now I'm focusing on my family.
36:58Chantelle said,
36:59I'm still in a relationship with Vicky. We're very happy.
37:01I've had nothing whatsoever to do with my mother or my father.
37:04After the show, my dad made no effort to contact me, so I decided not to pursue a relationship with him,
37:09but I'm happy and looking forward to a future with Vicky.
37:12The most important thing about coming on the show, she got to know who her dad is.
37:15They'll make their own decisions, and I hope in the future they can move forward.
37:18Now, don't go anywhere, because coming next, on this stage, a marriage at breaking point.
37:23I'm right back.
37:24I'm always on his toes. I know exactly what he's doing.
37:26But I ain't doing nothing.
37:28But you are. You lie constantly. You lie, all these stupid little lies,
37:31and now it's a big, massive lie that's breaking my heart, and I need to know.
37:42That's what it says there is.
37:47Ladies and gentlemen.
37:56You lie yet?
37:58Awful犯sequence is true.
37:59OK.
38:00Welcome back.
38:25Now, you might remember my next guest, Linda.
38:27This lady claimed she'd found hair, make-up, even some false eyelashes in her husband's blow-up bed
38:33after he'd been away working for two weeks.
38:35She was convinced that he'd cheated.
38:37She demanded that he took a lie detector test.
38:39Take a look at this.
38:41You say he's always in the pub?
38:42Constantly.
38:44And when I phone him, he runs into the toilet so I can hear the music and the people talking.
38:49Well, pretends he's somewhere else. Brilliant.
38:50But I knows where he is.
38:52You just go down there, don't ring him.
38:53Well, no, I've done that.
38:54And then he tells me in one pub, and then I go and look for him, and he's in another pub.
38:57He started working away.
38:59This is quite central to the story some weeks ago.
39:01Because I was struggling to understand the blow-up bed bit in the introduction.
39:04But he started working away.
39:06Right.
39:06I've been with Alec years, and I was his sister's best friend before we got together.
39:10So, hence, he was a player.
39:12So, I knew all his little tricks and all his little trowngs and all the rest of it.
39:18Alec started working away.
39:19He came home.
39:20Suitcase on the floor.
39:21It's straight over the pub.
39:23Normal woman.
39:24Picks the gear up.
39:24Puts it in the washing machine.
39:25Washes, dries the irons.
39:27Put it all back.
39:27This weekend, I go through the suitcase to find things.
39:33Blonde hair's in the back of his jeans.
39:36At the back of the jeans.
39:37I've got to explain to you at the back.
39:39Right there.
39:41At the back of his jeans.
39:42Now, I'm Dak.
39:44So, obviously, he was like that.
39:47Oh, he was like that, wasn't he?
39:49And his jeans are coming down, so he's pulling them back up.
39:52Hence, the blonde hair.
39:54So, then, I think, right.
39:57Well, no, if he's going like that, his jeans are falling down, he's pulling them back up.
40:02Blonde hair in his hands, isn't he?
40:04Oh.
40:05Right.
40:06So, that's the one.
40:07Right, blonde hair, what was on the bed?
40:10The blow-up bed.
40:10Right, we had pubic hairs on the blow-up bed.
40:13Then, on the top of the sheet that went over the blow-up bed, we had foundation,
40:17which I've never, ever been on that bed, anyway, and an eyelash.
40:21He doesn't wear makeup, does he?
40:23Well, either of that, or he's a tranny.
40:24Do you know what I mean?
40:25So, where did it all come from?
40:26What did he say when you confronted him?
40:28I don't know, nothing to do with me.
40:30So, I went ballistic, and he's still nothing to do with me.
40:34I said, well, it obviously ain't mine, because I'm Dak, innit?
40:36And I don't stand over your suitcase like that, having a scratch.
40:40No, but it's right, though, innit?
40:42Do you know what I mean?
40:43Well, he kept me smelling the coffee, girls.
40:44And then I said, well, I think you've got something to tell me.
40:48Be a man, because he's told so many lies over the years to me.
40:52Those stupid little lies have gone to this big, massive lie.
40:55And all I get off him is, well, I'll do a lie detector.
40:58I'll do a lie detector.
41:00So, he got me to the stage the other day where I was that,
41:03ate up and hurt inside.
41:04I thought, right, then, you're going to do one.
41:06I want one.
41:07Now, we have to point out, for reasons that people who watch the Jeremy Carr show
41:12would completely understand,
41:13there has been quite serious violence in this relationship.
41:16Yes, there has been.
41:17And although that is in the past, it is absolutely our policy,
41:20and always will be, to ensure that any lie detector is done
41:23in the right environment and can't lead to anything that would be unfortunate.
41:27So, for that to happen, there will be a period of making sure that there isn't,
41:31and that's something we can do in the long term.
41:33But let's talk more specifically about, not the bag,
41:37let's talk about what you said about this relationship suffering.
41:40Do you think he just, I mean, you said to my team,
41:42he's like a single bloke.
41:44Yeah, he wants to be a single bloke,
41:45but he wants the married man's privileges.
41:47He wants to come home, meet me, do his tea,
41:50wash his clothes, check it all back in the suitcase,
41:52sort it all out, give him a kiss, happy days.
41:54Let's get Alex on the show, ladies and gentlemen.
41:56APPLAUSE
41:58That'll look like the walk of shame.
42:10No, there's no shame near me.
42:11Um, in my past, I was Jack the Lad,
42:14but she can't get over that, now she thinks I'm cheating.
42:16Yeah.
42:17Um, let's cut to the chase, are you?
42:19No.
42:22Oh, you've seen no when there was blonde ears in your jeans.
42:25No, I know.
42:25Pupic ears all over a blow at bed.
42:28Not me.
42:29Just a reasonable explanation about it, right?
42:31Which is what?
42:31Where's the explanation?
42:33I'm Jack.
42:34Yeah, I agree.
42:35So where's the blonde ear come from?
42:36I told her what happened.
42:37What happened then?
42:38Mr. Player.
42:39We turned up on site, put the tents up.
42:43Shabba.
42:43That was in the past.
42:44It's all in the past.
42:46She just sets it in her mind.
42:47No, no, no, no, let's talk about the blonde ears
42:49and the, I don't really want to say it.
42:51Pupes!
42:53The only explanation I can get of it is,
42:55we had a 63, a 69-year-old bloke working with us,
42:58which was a decorator.
43:00Me and him were sharing a tent.
43:01We found two quilts and four pillows.
43:04The boys shared them.
43:05The painter had one and my other mate had one
43:07and the other two boys were in the other tent.
43:09How did you get blonde female hairs on your bed?
43:11He's 69.
43:12He got a bad head.
43:14He had to go back to the valleys.
43:17So I took his quilt and his pillow into my room, hence.
43:21So a 69-year-old man with a heart problem
43:23went to go back to the valleys,
43:24had a duvet that was covered in pubic hair
43:26and long blonde female hair.
43:27It's not his bed.
43:28It's not his bed.
43:29It's my blood bed.
43:31So it's not his bed.
43:31So a 69-year-old with a heart problem
43:33is more active than you?
43:35Well, it looks that way, yeah.
43:36Do you understand where her concerns are?
43:38Yes, I do, yeah, I do.
43:39Do you understand that she feels that you've changed,
43:42that you're in the pub, you lie where you are,
43:44she can't trust you, and it's all a bit shifty
43:46because you look a bit shifty.
43:47Oh, he ain't shifty.
43:48He is shifty.
43:49I phoned him and he's in the toilet.
43:51We've heard that.
43:52Why do you lie about being in the pub?
43:55Because I'll know him.
43:55Because I know for the fact
43:56that if I say to her I'm in the pub,
43:58there'll be murder when I go.
44:01So you go in the toilet.
44:02So many blokes across England.
44:04So you go in the pub and you go,
44:06no, honestly, I'm somewhere else.
44:08Well, usually I run outside the pub.
44:10Brilliant.
44:11Yeah.
44:12But he thinks I'm stupid.
44:13I'm always on his toes.
44:14I knows exactly what he's doing.
44:16But I ain't doing nothing.
44:17But you are.
44:18You lie constantly.
44:19You lie all these stupid little lies
44:21and now it's a big, massive lie
44:22that's breaking my heart
44:23and I need to know.
44:24Hence is why I wanted to...
44:25I'd like you to be a man
44:26and tell the truth
44:27and I want to know why you just lie.
44:29Look up straight in the face
44:30and tell her that you're not cheating.
44:31I'm not cheating on you.
44:32I love you to death.
44:33I love you too,
44:34but I just don't believe you.
44:35What can I do?
44:36It's not even that.
44:37I have never messed it about
44:38in 12 years.
44:39It's not even about that.
44:40We will definitely...
44:41Listen, we will bring you back
44:42but from my point of view,
44:44even if you're not,
44:45even if you are working
44:46and grafting
44:47and there's an explanation,
44:48you've got to understand one thing.
44:49You don't feel like you love her anymore.
44:51It's obvious she's going to think that way.
44:52You don't take her out.
44:53You go to the pub.
44:54You don't have much sex with her.
44:55You're tired of her.
44:56She doesn't feel like a lady anymore.
44:58You've stopped buying her.
44:59And that happens.
44:59That's right, yeah.
45:00But it happens.
45:01It does happen.
45:01And it's happened to me
45:02and I don't like it.
45:03And I want my life and my husband back.
45:05Why don't you take her out?
45:06Why don't you take her out?
45:08We can't get a word in edgeways to ask her.
45:10Right, shut up.
45:11Right, shut up a minute.
45:13You should...
45:13Instead of going to the...
45:14Use your brain.
45:16If you want to go to a football match,
45:17you take them out for dinner one night.
45:19You have to give and take.
45:20Right, if you want to go to the pub on a Sunday,
45:22take her out on a Saturday night.
45:24Get a few brownie points.
45:25Bob's your uncle.
45:26You're playing the wrong game.
45:27All the blokes who are married are going,
45:29yeah, he's absolutely right.
45:30There are blokes in this audience
45:32who don't even want to be here.
45:33They're only here today
45:34so they can go to football tomorrow.
45:36Use your brain.
45:37That's right, I want to come with you.
45:38Do it then.
45:39We used to go everywhere together.
45:41Yeah, and it stopped.
45:41Why have it stopped?
45:43Because it was always you
45:44that decided where we went.
45:45No.
45:46No, no, no, no.
45:47Nice ways.
45:48Nice ways.
45:49Wherever I wanted to go,
45:50I think she'd be less suspicious
45:52if you just tried off your own back,
45:55don't say a word,
45:56to organise something away from the pub.
45:59He phoned me up, he said,
45:59put your face on,
46:00he said, I'm taking you for a meal.
46:01I loved that.
46:02I loved it.
46:03He came home, he put his suitcase in,
46:05had a shower,
46:05and we went and had a meal.
46:06It was lovely.
46:07And then the following week,
46:08he just came in,
46:09chucked the suitcase down,
46:10I've got to go and sort my stuff out
46:11for football, blah, blah, blah.
46:12Gone.
46:13It's like, you know,
46:14one week is good
46:15and then the next week is not.
46:15I don't think you need to lie detector,
46:17certainly if you want us to monitor you.
46:19Well, I think you just need to...
46:20No, I need the lie detector.
46:22Oh, God.
46:22Listen, when you get with somebody,
46:25it's all very exciting
46:26and, of course, things change
46:27and you have kids and bills
46:28and all that sort of stuff,
46:29but you have to take time out to do stuff.
46:31And I'm simply saying,
46:33use your brain, okay?
46:35Surprise her.
46:36But when he does,
46:37don't mither him, okay?
46:38No, I wouldn't.
46:39No, but I think you probably would.
46:40But I'm suggesting...
46:41I'm suggesting you would...
46:42I'd be more in shock.
46:43He'd have to pick me up off the floor.
46:44Surprise her.
46:45It's like I've told her before.
46:47I've got four children,
46:49she's got four children.
46:50I've got three grandchildren.
46:52One's in the audience, yeah?
46:55I love her children,
46:57nobody's,
46:58and the grandkids, I love them, yeah?
47:01In a way, we've got no ties
47:03because we've got no children together, yeah?
47:05So I could walk away anytime,
47:08but I don't.
47:09Oh, I don't know.
47:11But you do, you rent it to Mimi.
47:14Oi.
47:15Anything that goes on
47:16is straight up there to Mama.
47:17A little bit of help.
47:18Shh, shh, shh.
47:19I'm listening.
47:20Shh.
47:21I'm listening.
47:22Let him try and surprise you.
47:23Listen, can I say one final thing?
47:27She's a slightly, lively woman.
47:30All you've got to do,
47:31all you've got to do
47:32is change the game plan,
47:34rather you than me.
47:35Get out of here that way.
47:36Give him a round of applause.
47:37Let's go.
47:37We're down, we're down, we're down.
47:43Now, since the show,
47:44I've been in contact with Linda and Alec,
47:46and this is what they told us.
47:47They say,
47:47since the show,
47:47things have been brilliant between us.
47:49We felt like Jeremy helped put things into perspective,
47:52and we're really glad that we came to the show.
47:54The aftercare was absolutely amazing,
47:56and it really helped us to trust each other again.
47:58Before we came to the show,
47:59we both wanted a lie detector test,
48:01but we now realize that we didn't need one,
48:03and we couldn't be happier.
48:04That's the point, isn't it?
48:06People come to the show for the truth.
48:07We give them the truth,
48:08and hopefully, with aftercare,
48:10they can move on with their lives.
48:11Thank you very much indeed for watching.
48:13We'll see you very soon.
48:14Take care.
48:14Bye-bye for now.
48:15We'll see you next time.
48:45Bye-bye.
