00:00Looking at Liverpool and the festive fixtures now, we always mention that it's such a heated
00:07time of the year where the champions at the end of the season, they tend to always come
00:12out on top in the festive fixtures. They tend to play well and have a fantastic Christmas
00:17period. It can show a lot about a team. Looking at the Premier League games, Spurs away, Leicester
00:24at home, West Ham away, then into the new year Man United at home, then obviously it's
00:29the FA Cup. The simple question is probably, do you see them losing a game? The way they're
00:35playing at the moment is absolutely fantastic. Arne Schlott's got a lot right so far and
00:40he's got to be happy just halfway through his first season at the club.
00:44Yeah, he has absolutely. That Fulham game, even though Liverpool dropped points, they'd
00:49be disappointed. It was probably one of the best performances of the season. The way they
00:53battled with 10 men, they won the game. When they went down to 10 men, they won by 2-1.
00:58Obviously, they'd gone down before that. If you're looking at the festive fixtures, it's
01:05not as daunting as maybe it could be. Tottenham's such an enigma. You don't know what sort of
01:14performance you're going to get. They can go and get thrashed. They can go and throw
01:18away leads and then they can go and put five past Southampton, albeit at a poor Southampton
01:23side. That's one that Liverpool are looking at. Leicester are home. Leicester have had
01:30a little bit of an upturn in performance since we ran this through when it comes to the club.
01:34They're conceding a lot of shots, aren't they? They're conceding a lot of chances. You'd
01:38be looking at that and thinking Liverpool can maybe have a little bit of a formality.
01:43They'll pick up three points there, albeit Arne Schlott won't see it that way. West Ham
01:48seem to have turned a little bit of a corner as well. They've got a lot of quality in the
01:52squad, make no bones about it. I don't think anyone, even though they've had a difficult
01:55start under Julian Lopetegui, I don't think anyone's expected them to really be down in
02:02the lower echelons of the table. Man Utd, after Christmas, good thing for Liverpool
02:07is they have a little bit of a break because there's no games on New Year's. The boom's
02:12sort of refreshed for that one because it will be an intense battle and it'll be interesting
02:17to see the changes that Man Utd make under Ruben Amaran. Of course, Liverpool went to
02:23Old Trafford and were dominant, three-nil winners towards the start of the season.
02:29It was an excellent performance from Liverpool that day but Ruben Amaran seems like he's
02:35started to get United ticking a little bit. Obviously, come back against Man City, so
02:40that'll be a difficult one. I mean, the odd cliché rivalry when you play your rivals
02:46four and go out the window a little bit. In those four fixtures, I think if Liverpool
02:51took ten points, then a lot of fans would be happy with that.
