00:00So, well, looking at Liverpool and the January window, and obviously they've made a few big
00:06signings in January windows over the last few years, but they've also sort of stayed
00:10quiet as well in a few. Just looking ahead to January, it's going to be quite an interesting
00:15time where, you know, following the festive period, there could be a real crossroads of
00:21if we go and get someone big, they could really help us push on and, you know, trump this
00:25division under Arnie Schlott this season. So, who would be a name, maybe a position
00:29to look out for that would really impact Liverpool's side well, and maybe even help them push themselves
00:36over the line and become champions once again?
00:39Yeah, it's an interesting one, definitely. What Liverpool go and do in January. Did he
00:44go and get someone to bolster the starting XI immediately, or did he get someone to come
00:50in and bed in a little bit and take the time? I think if you were looking at a position
00:56like central midfield, it's quite clearly the obvious one, you know, Arnie Schlott came
01:00in and said, I want a new central midfielder in the summer, and that man was Martin Supermendy
01:05and Liverpool couldn't get it over the line. Well, it's going to be interesting with Supermendy
01:10now because maybe they cut out the bag a little bit. I think that's a little bit harsh because
01:15I think a lot of people, a lot of clubs wouldn't know about Supermendy anyway, but Manchester
01:20City are struggling, they've lost Rodri, they've lost Kovacic, as we speak, they're
01:27struggling with injury. So do they go and think, right, we need to go and get another
01:31number six in now? But obviously the advances that Liverpool have with Supermendy, it's
01:37that, you know, they know the player, they'll know his agents, they'll know the sporting
01:43directors at Real Sociedad, the groundwork's already been done. And yeah, I think maybe
01:50someone to rotate around Gravenberch could be quite important, see Guitaro Endo come
01:55on and finish games. And I think even if another number six came in, I don't think Guitaro
02:00Endo's position would change. He seems to be that man who Arnie Schlott likes to come
02:04on and kill games off. But a little bit more rotation with Gravenberch, maybe even Gravenberch
02:09playing a little bit higher up the pitch and just having that extra body in there will
02:15be quite important. Or maybe a left-back, potentially. I mean, Andy Robertson starts
02:20the season pre-season injured. He hasn't quite hit the heights that Liverpool fans are used
02:27to expecting. He's been one of the best left-backs in the world's past few years, but he's 30
02:33coming 31 now, and his father time's starting to catch up a little bit. Kostas Simakas has
02:39done OK this season, but realistically, is he a long-term replacement for Robertson?
02:46Well, he's been at the club for three, four years and he hasn't done so yet, so I'd suggest
02:52that he's not going to any time soon. So maybe another left-back as well, just to add something
02:58there for Liverpool. But yeah, I think central midfield is the one if they're going to bring
03:03someone in.
