A look ahead for the Reds.

00:00So, Will, as Liverpool have entered this new era under Arnie Schlott, obviously he himself
00:06has admitted that they've not really faced a massive test so far. The fixtures are now
00:12coming in thick and fast, they've got Champions League to look at, they've got some really
00:16tough games in the league, they've passed their first test against Chelsea, but how
00:20sort of excited are they for this real test and they can really stamp their authority
00:26in the division if they do come out with some real positive results?
00:31Yeah, I don't know if Liverpool fans are getting carried away yet,
00:35because A, they know it takes an awful lot to beat Manchester City to the title,
00:41and B, we've seen last season that Liverpool had a good start, but they ultimately tailed
00:44off at the end, but, you know, so far so good under Arnie Schlott, 10 wins from 11,
00:51and the Chelsea game was a little bit different because it was probably the first game where
00:55they didn't actually dominate possession, I think Chelsea had more of the ball, but
01:00Liverpool, for the most part, were resolute and they'd seen the game out fairly comfortably,
01:06you know, they showed their attack and prowess, they could have had a second penalty potentially,
01:10they had other chances in the first half, and I can't really remember the Liverpool goalkeeper,
01:15Green Callaghan, making a save throughout the game, he came off his line maybe,
01:20but by Nicholas Jackson's goal, Liverpool were fairly comfortable in the end, and when you're
01:26able to quell a real potent attack on line-up with Chelsea, you know, Paul Palmer was limited to a
01:32couple of blocked shots, and obviously Jackson had his chance, but Maderweche was threatening at
01:38times, but he didn't really do anything of substantial note, and Jadon Sancho and Pedro
01:47Neto both struggled on the opposite flank, so you have to take the positives from that, it wasn't a
01:53fantastic Liverpool performance, but I think they showed the different sides, and those qualities
02:00are what you need to win a title, when you've got to dig in deep, and when you've got players like,
02:04you know, Arslan, after like Mo Salah tracking back, and putting in a shift, and then going up
02:09the other end, and trying to create chances, that's, you know, what you need from your talisman,
02:16you know, you could almost give him a little bit of leeway, and say, oh, he needs to track back as much,
02:21because of what he does in the final fair, but when you've got players with that attitude, then it
02:26really all goes well, so yeah, big win, but you know, the Arsenal game is another real barometer,
02:33if Liverpool can go there, and get a result, and then they've got Aston Villa in the league as well, before
02:39the next international break, if Liverpool pick up results against those, then you're looking at
02:43the table, and think, well, where are they going to start dropping points, because they're not dropping
02:47them against the lesser teams, and they're picking up points against the teams that
02:51will be challenging at the top end of the table, so why can't they go all the way?
