00:00In terms of the big hitters, those players under Jürgen Klopp who have got them all
00:06the way over the line in terms of winning the Premier League, winning the Champions
00:09League and many trophies as well like Salah, Alisson, Van Dijk, Trent, Andy Robertson as
00:16well. These are top, top senior players still around the club. What's the situation with
00:22a few of them? They're probably going to get a few links with Salih Arabia come the main
00:29bulk of this window. How important is it that a lot of those players remain at the
00:34club for Arne Slott's first season? Yes, it is. I think stability is needed when you've
00:39got a new manager and new backroom staff in place. You don't want new players coming in
00:44as well really and having to play catch-up almost really. Arne Slott, I don't think he's
00:50come out and said he's not going to change an awful lot. He will change some things and
00:54that's only natural. But yes, to have Van Dijk there, who's obviously the bedrock of
01:00the team, is important. Mo Salah looks like he'll be staying. What comes of his contract
01:08next summer? We don't know his contract then. So is Virgil van Dijk. Maybe Salih Arabia
01:13might be an option for Mo Salah next summer but he came out on social media pretty quickly
01:18after the season finished and said he'll go again next year. Quite a fatal for Mo Salah
01:23to do that, to lay his cards out. So I don't think he'd do that unless you think, right,
01:27I'm staying at the club. Trent Alexander-Arnold is an interest amongst. He's another one who's
01:33out of contract next summer and Real Madrid he's been linked with. But he's a future captain
01:40at Liverpool and you think out of the three, to be quite frank, he'll be the one that you
01:44want to keep first and foremost because he's 25 whereas Van Dijk's 33 in a couple of weeks.
01:51Mo Salah's a similar age. Trent Alexander-Arnold still isn't really in his peak years yet.
01:57He's still improving and he's still going to go on. As you say, Andy Robertson's part
02:01of that leadership team. Alisson Becker's an interest among because he had been linked
02:07to Saudi Arabia and you look at the goalkeeping situation, it's not ideal for Alisson to be
02:12honest with you because he's losing number three actually and okay, number three goalkeeper
02:17is not an absolute disaster but Kevin Keleher as well, his future's uncertain because he
02:23says he wants to go out and play rugby and football. So you're going to have to go and
02:30maybe get another number two now and so you're not going to lose Alisson. I mean, the only
02:34way you lose Alisson is if you keep Keleher and make him the number one, so you're right,
02:37we're planning for the future. But I don't think they're quite going to do that yet.
02:41Alisson's only 31 so he's got several years left as a goalkeeper. And yeah, Andy Robertson
02:47obviously had his injury last season but he ends the season in really good form and you
02:54would like to think he'll have to bit between his teeth next season to keep his spot because
03:00he'll know that now he's 30, eventually Liverpool will start looking for his long-term success
03:05as well but he'll want to keep that bear for as long as possible.
