End of the ceremony which saw newly installed Pembroke Dock Mayor Cllr Michele Wiggins lighting the beacon in the Memorial Park, to mark VE Day 80th Anniversary.
To lead up to the lighting ceremony, the fantastic Vision Arts choir performed a special selection of wartime songs, honouring the sacrifice and celebrating the peace that followed Victory in Europe, eight decades on.
The event was afterwards described as “wonderful.”
It followed a “lovely morning” for the raising of the VE Day 80 flag on The Pater Hall, which was followed by coffee and cake.
