The 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day was marked in heartfelt fashion across the Causeway Coast and Glens on Thursday, as residents came together in Coleraine for a day of remembrance and celebration.

Hosted by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, the commemorative events honoured the courage and sacrifice of those who served in World War II.
At 6:30pm, churches across the Borough rang their bells in unison, providing a poignant moment of reflection.

Entertainment at The Diamond began shortly after by compere Brian Moore, with decorations, picnic tables, and performances by The Leading Ladies, who delighted the crowd with their distinctive harmony vocals.
