00:00Hi I'm John Atkins and this is Roy Nagel and we have kitted out this amazing bus basically
00:14what it's all about is helping prison leavers and ex homeless people to upskill to learn
00:21different things and basically get back on their feet once they come out and this bus
00:26is the absolute epitome of it Roy and I have been kitting this out he's been absolutely
00:33instrumental in helping create this do all the carpentry the flooring the painting basically
00:40everything I do Roy fixes yeah so tell us a little bit about the process and what are you most proud
00:50of on the bus I'm proud of all of it from start to finish straight into doing something good
00:56yeah and changing my life previously we ran a project called buses for homeless which kind
01:01of says what it does on the tin we had an eating a sleeping a learning and a well-being space
01:07and basically it was a an entire program that helped homeless people get back onto their feet
01:14get into education training and then employment and now we're moving on to modular housing which
01:22is a far better concept and far more sustainable but I've always wanted to create an amazing bus
01:29that's super high level super high spec type of a static bus as well used for either a static location
01:37an airbnb or just to have an incredible bus parked somewhere in a lush english beach or forest or
01:48something like that what we're aiming to achieve here is to auction it off obviously for the highest
01:53bidder to raise as much money as we possibly can to help support the next iteration of our program
01:58which is the modular housing and the solutions for living program we've got a full working kitchen
02:03a beautiful lounge a working shower upstairs there's a couple of bunks in the kids room there's also
02:10a master bedroom a stunning space at the top where you can have some food as a family or a games night
02:17or something like that there's a desk for the instagramers or dad or mum who's working it's just
02:24we've put so much thought and effort and into the detail of this bus and cannot wait to see it
02:31in the home of a new person sighted and just having people enjoy it and none of it would have happened
02:38if it wasn't for my mate roy here so mate honestly thank you so much you're absolute legend how has the
02:45support and the work helped you amazingly got everything i've ever needed over the years working
02:55for various builders and stuff and working with the old man learning from him yeah it's learning off a
03:05lot of people never done a bus houses yeah building sites yeah bus never so the question is would you
03:12build another one hundred percent that's my boy
