01:18Victims reportedly worked for a contractor of La Poderosa Gold Mining Corporation.

01:31Likewise, their families highlighted the police ignored their warnings and a video of their executions.

01:43In this regard, the Peruvian Congress urged the executive branch to respond firmly and take immediate action against organized crime.
01:50In Colombia, the evidentiary phase of the defense against former President Árbalo Uribe moves forward.
02:04Uribe faces charges of bribery of witnesses and procedural fraud.
02:08After the end of the sessions corresponding to the witnesses, statements were collected from former paramilitarists linking Uribe to the emergency of armed groups.
02:18In addition, an analysis was made of a white wrap of the former president in 2018,
02:24which shows the attempts of lawyer Diego Cadena to obtain testimonies through blackmail in favor of Uribe.
02:31During this Monday's trial, Árbalo Uribe appears as a witness and in person.
02:43In Haiti, dozens of demonstrators held a rally in the hills of the Capitol demanding an end to violence
02:48and the resignation of the country's Prime Minister and the Presidential Transitional Council.
02:53This latest rally comes one day after hundreds of aliens gathered in the Capitol portal prints
02:59to honor community leaders killed during clashes with criminal groups.
03:03The protesters denounced that the growing humanitarian crisis in the country has left 1,600 dead
03:09and more than 500 wounded from January to March alone.
03:14The Haitian National Police has had difficulties in its fight against criminals
03:18due to the insufficient number of police personnel and funds from the mission supported by the United Nations.
03:26We need security, we need food, we need a place to sleep, we need health care.
03:39If you are the head of the state and you feel you can't take the responsibility, turn away and leave.
03:44If you don't feel up to the task, ask someone else.
03:47We have a seven-member Presidential Council. We cannot stand it anymore.
03:55El Faro News' website denounced that the Salvadoran Prosecutor's Office seeks to issue arrest warrants
04:01against this journalist after revealing links between the government and criminal groups.
04:06The share of the media outlet, Carlos Dada, advanced that the Prosecutor's Office is taking the aforesaid actions
04:13after having interviewed two heads of criminal groups, including Carlos Cartagena alias Charlie Dada,
04:20who provided details of the political strategy between President Bukele and criminal groups
04:25at the outset of his candidacy for Major of San Salvador by 2014.
04:30Both Charlie and the criminal, Little Man, indicated that these groups threatened several communities
04:37to force them to vote for Bukele. Obviously, the government denied all testimonies and allegations.

05:24and specialised care of the single health system, which is one of the main plans
05:28of the National Government Administration and contributes to the training of doctors specialising in family
05:34and community medicine, master's degrees and doctorates in family health.

05:59energy security and the growing influence of China could affect US interests.
06:04Chevron, which is only allowed to export Venezuelan oil to the United States,
06:09has been under pressure from Donald Trump's administration to stop extractions in the Bolivarian nation.
06:15According to the oil company, the refineries on the Gulf Coast of Mexico are designed for this specific type of oil extracted from Venezuela,

06:52Welcome back to From the South.
06:54The American authorities are finalised in preparations for the celebration of the conclave in the Sistine Chapel,
07:00where the 133 cardinals will gather to elect the new pontiff on May 7th.
07:05The Holy See has announced that two bonfires and a chimney have been set up at the site
07:10to emit the white smoke that signals the appointment of the successor of the late Pope Francis.
07:16Until an agreement is reached, the black smoke will continue to be emitted.
07:20The test will consist of four daily votes, two in the morning and two in the afternoon.
07:25If necessary, a direct and obligatory second ballot will be held between the two cardinals,
07:31who received the most votes in the previous ballot.
07:34In all cases, a two-thirds majority will be required.
07:38What I'm doing is looking, listening, seeing people coming from Mongolia, working in Ikaria,
07:53who are with the poorest people in Latin America, in Africa.
07:57This is very beautiful.
07:59It's a richness and for this I think it is us all good, believers and non-believers.
08:05This I think is also the legacy of 2000 years of ecclesial life and also the legacy of Pope Francis.
08:13Everyone is among us, I don't know who it is he doesn't know himself, but there's the future Pope and he will hear all of this.
08:23And it's from this richness that he will nourish himself and I hope that afterwards we will be able to be for him a true college of brother cardinals.

18:29wind directions across the Arabian Peninsula.
