00:00So, Will, looking at Liverpool and obviously now champions confirmed in terms of the remainder of the season, these last few games, how does Arne Schlott sort of approach them?
00:11Because it's very easy to sort of drop down in terms of momentum, etc.
00:15When you've won the league and you've got that confirmed over the line, how does he go about it?
00:21Does he bring some younger players into the fold?
00:23Does he maybe go all out and try and get to that 90 points, which is achievable?
00:28How do you see it going in terms of these last few games?
00:30I mean, it can just simply be a complete party for the Liverpool fans from now until the end of the season.
00:37Yeah, I think it'll be, as you say, a month-long fiesta for the supporters.
00:41I think they'll care too much.
00:43But Arne Schlott's a man of pride, a man who wants to see his team do well.
00:49I think the fact that Liverpool were back in training on Wednesday underlines that they haven't been out on the ale for a week long.
01:01They had the celebrations Sunday night, had Monday off, Tuesday off and they're back to it.
01:08And as you say, Liverpool want to get as many points as possible to show that they are very much worthy champions.
01:18There have been so much as in this season from detractors saying, well, it's been a weekly eagle to get to 94 points in any year.
01:26That's a great total.
01:27So we all want to end strongly.
01:30We want to obviously take momentum into next season.
01:34The players will want to be the same as well.
01:36You know, you've got a player like Mo Salah looking to record the most goals and assists in the Premier League season, want to keep breaking records.
01:43But I think there will be a little bit of rotation.
01:46Some players deserve a chance because Arne Schlott said the squad's been so important this season.
01:52You know, the ones who, you know, he has favoured his core group of 14, 15, but there have been players who've been there every week in training, traveling, pushing these players.
02:05You know, he likes it with Taro Endo, who's been excellent in some games coming off the pitch.
02:10Harvey Elliott has made some valuable contributions.
02:14Gerald Quance has had a frustrating year, but he always had to be patient.
02:21And Arne Schlott, it's a chance to manage the workload.
02:25I know that there are only four games left, but these players then will be going off an international duty as well after.
02:32So there's some competitive games for a lot of them after that.
02:36And if they're playing four more competitive games plus two more in the internationals, then it increases the chance of getting an injury, doesn't it?
02:45That might seep into pre-season and Arne Schlott's got a big chance next pre-season because he'll have all his players back, but there'll not be in any tournament.
02:54So, as I say, I think there will be a little bit of rotation.
02:57He won't weaken the side.
02:58It's not like it's going to be wholesale changes.
03:01You will see the likes of, I think, Elliott, Endo getting opportunities.
03:08Maybe Federico Piaz as well will finally make his full Premier League debut.
03:13He'll only make four substituted appearances in the league this season.
03:17So it's a chance, but Arne Schlott will be eyeing four more victories.
03:21He's a man who sets very high standards.
03:25That's why Liverpool brought him in.
03:26And you'll still think that this team can improve and there's still aspects that they can work on, maybe going into next season.
03:32Maybe he might try a couple of things.
03:34You don't know yet.
03:34But, yeah, there'll be little changes.
03:36But I still think that definitely Liverpool will be going strong at Chelsea at the weekend.
03:42Yeah, well, obviously, since we last called it up, they have confirmed the Premier League title.
03:46There was an incredible celebration to Anfield before the game, after the game, I'm sure, long into the night and the weekend as well.
03:53But just how important was that for the fans to have that moment?
03:57Obviously, Covid was the last time that they won the league and those celebrations were definitely restricted back then.
04:02You were obviously in the thick of the celebrations.
04:05What was that like?
04:05How much passion was running through?
04:07How much, you know, incredible celebration was there due to the fact it was, you know, drawing ever with Manchester United as well with the 20th English top flight title?
04:16Yeah, well, it's something that a generation, two generations have never experienced.
04:24Myself, never experienced that.
04:26All my friends and, you know, family, close family members have never experienced that.
04:31And I'm sure the majority of fans who were around in 1990 have actually forgot what that feeling was like to win the Premier League title.
04:40You know, from the morning, I was in the city centre and it was packed early on and you get up to the grounds.
04:49It was bedlam hours before kick-off, to be honest with you.
04:53The pubs were full to the rafters and you've seen the scenes outside of Anfield, the ones who couldn't even get a ticket.
04:59And inside the grounds, it was just, it was pure elation.
05:05It wasn't relief because, you know, I've seen, you know, sometimes when, you know, maybe they won the title in 2020.
05:14It was, it might have been a little bit of relief that it's finally over, you know.
05:19Liverpool have had it from so many different other supporters.
05:23I nearly haven't won the title and they've won the Premier League and won 30 years.
05:26Maybe a little bit of relief from that point, but it was just pure elation from, from the moment I arrived at Anfield,
05:34even making my way there beforehand to, to the moment I leave, I left.
05:38I mean, I left around 10 o'clock-ish and there was still fireworks going off, still plenty of supporters around the grounds.
05:46So God knows what time they, they left.
05:48But it's, it's a feeling they'll want more and more than our fans.
05:55Now they've experienced that, they'll want to experience it on a regular basis.
