With around half a million shoplifting incidents across the UK last year, we’re asking people around Cardiff what can be done to tackle the issue.

00:15want to do well partake in shoplifting. I used to work in a retail store and even
00:21though we had a security guard shoplifting was outrageous you know I
00:24didn't I've only been here for like I said for two years but my old store back
00:28in crosshands we didn't have any shoplifters. I was there for a year we
00:32had maybe one incident but on my first shift here we had two shoplifters in the
00:36day and it gave me an insight on how bad it is here. They could do more with like
00:42the the tags and what is like geeks that the thing we could make that more. Yeah
00:47because I wake at Tesco so people just kind of walk out the buzzers go off we
00:52can't really do a lot we're not allowed to go after them it's down to the
00:54security so I think security could be a lot more thing yeah.
