00:00All right right now I am at XL Auto Body in Warren so Ray and Jazzy Jeff are they're bagging

00:10the car right now so they're getting ready to paint it but they're gonna paint the roof first

00:14and we're gonna get a look at that which I find extremely badass. I'm in a suit am I gonna get

00:19painted on? We're not gonna paint on you. I didn't realize how many steps were in the process for

00:26painting a car because you know usually you like see it on TV and they're like shh and that's all

00:30they show you but right now Ray what are you wiping it down with wax and grease remover and so there's

00:38actually several things that happen they go through they double check it if the temperature

00:43drops even a few degrees it can cause little tiny pinholes so they double check for that and then

00:50they go through with the degreaser and whatnot and then they're gonna spray it with primer and then

00:55they're gonna spray it with the final paint so it's quite a it's quite a process and this is

01:01not the only car that's in for the reason that this car is in for you know that hail storm we had that

01:06like hit the heck out of Peekney and Davison guess where this car is from and Ray said they got like

01:12another two or three of them in the parking lot. I rough man it was rough. Okay I've been ejected

01:18from the room as you can see so right now he's painting the roof of this car it's just so soothing

01:27watching someone I don't know what my deal is but I find it amazing and a lot of attention to detail

01:34pretty impressed with XL custom painting the prep work is where it's at and I just watched them do a

01:41pretty meticulous job you got some snippets but I'm telling you there are a lot of layers that go into

01:46painting a car properly and this is just the final step they have been part of war for more than 30

01:53years well almost 30 years just it's been a while right and you guys get strange characters in here all

02:00the time you said the time yeah the band Tantric came in the other day they were on the road fixed their

02:05hood their hood was broken couldn't get their hood open which makes them sound dumb but it was actually a

02:10lot more than just you know rock the roll but I like it by a different band that's more in our wheelhouse

02:15all right so Jazzy Jeff just finished up putting the sealer and then which is crazy because that's

02:23actually the black paint and then he's going to go over it with like a clear coat that's going to make

02:27it super shiny right yeah I mean I did not realize how many layers there were to the to the prep work

02:32and all of that oh yeah how come you like Jeff paint like to me that's the fun part I'd be like

02:36yeah that's because it all comes down anything that's the state will be on him oh my well that's

02:43because we've all looked at it to this point right now and how long have you been here oh gosh gosh I

02:51wouldn't even know oh my long enough to know that it's better to you know let Jaz and Jeff get in there

02:56and paint and let him take the heat of anything he's got about 25 years of experience so I'm pretty

03:02confident pretty confident he's dancing I feel like we're waiting for the doctor to come out

03:07is the car going to live Jeff there you have it you heard it here first we are live in Warren for
