00:00How are you? Larry Martino from The Afternoon Show on 96.3 KKLZ, and today is National Radio Day.
00:06And to celebrate, we're going to go through some rapid-fire questions. Here we go.
00:10What was your home radio station growing up?
00:12Ah, 77, WABC, New York.
00:16Who was the disc jockey you looked up to?
00:18Actually, the whole crew at WABC. You had Harry Harrison, Ron Lundy, Dan Ingram, the legend cousin Brucey, Chuck Leonard. All of them were great.
00:26If you weren't in radio, what career field and job title would you have?
00:30Probably be doing some TV telecasting for sports, play-by-play for sports.
00:34Describe radio in three adjectives.
00:37Fun, exciting, and loud.
00:40Why do you love radio?
00:42It's given me something fun to do for over 40 years.
00:45I love music, and I get to play music and introduce songs that I've loved all my life, and it's been a great 40 years in broadcasting.
