Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about the 'castration cabin' being listed on Airbnb and Andy thinks the original story of the men who were committing the crimes from a couple years ago didn't receive the reaction you'd expect from such a crazy story.

00:00Well, no chance of getting that if you book a new stay at the castration cabin.
00:10Oh, my. Nope.
00:13There is a backwoods cabin.
00:16Of course.
00:17Where cannibalistic castrators Bobby Allen and Thomas Gates allegedly performed their castrations.
00:24Hmm.
00:25And this place where they did these things is now up for rent on Airbnb.
00:33Hmm.
00:34Well, so at least they're not there.
00:36One of the reviews said this was the perfect little cabin for a little weekend getaway with my husband.
00:42Clean and cozy with a unique surgical decor theme.
00:46Oh, God.
00:47Did she not know?
00:48That's why you have to do your research.
00:51Book a place at the...
00:52I figure all Airbnb's have had some castrations go on.
00:55Yeah.
00:56Yeah, you're probably right.
00:57It's 30%, I think.
00:58It's a 30% chance someone's been castrated there.
01:01There's a look.
01:02Perfect little cabin.
01:03Yeah, what kind of romantic...
01:04This is when it was...
01:06That was when the police investigation was going on.
01:08So this is like a recent thing.
01:10I remember these guys when we talked about them.
01:13Yes, I remember talking about it, too.
01:15Who's excited about a surgical theme of the room?
01:17I don't know.
01:18Not me.
01:19Oh, because even a doctor, they see that enough.
01:24They don't need a room to have any kind of surgical feel.
01:27Yeah, so this is, they say, the backwoods cabin where cannibalistic castrators Bobby Allen and Thomas Gates allegedly perform their surgeries or body parts harvesting is available to rent on Airbnb.
01:38Yeah, I think that things were so messed up when this actual story happened that people were just like, ah, castration cannibals.
01:47I don't think that it had the effect on society.
01:53Like, a castration cannibal should have.
01:56That should be like going and staying at Jeffrey Dahmer's house or something.
02:00I'm like, that's a big deal, castrating cannibals.
02:03I feel like if I was a newsman reading the story in other news, two men arrested for castrating people in a cabin.
02:09But like, when did this happen?
02:10It was like, ah.
02:11And then Andy Bussin went, hold on a minute.
02:14Like, when did it happen?
02:16When did they do this?
02:17So there were some castrating people that ate each other, didn't they?
02:18Yeah.
02:19Oh, God, yeah.
02:20But did you hear about the virus?
02:21What a year.
02:22You know, it just went, it just blew into town.
02:27So you think this should have received more attention than it did?
02:30It would have.
02:31I agree.
02:32I get you.
02:32I think that this would be in like the murder nerd world, like a lot, it would be a lot bigger of a place to stay if they hadn't done it at the wrong time.
02:41You're so right.
02:42It was like six months into the pandemic.
02:44Yeah.
02:44So it probably fell right there.
02:45Look at these gay men in their Christmas suits.
02:47I mean, look at the picture and the title of the story.
02:50I mean, that's something that should stick with us as human beings for a while.
02:53It just, it just.
02:54You're right.
02:55Cannibalistic black market castrators arrested.
02:57Everybody was just all like, dude, I gotta, there's no toilet paper.
03:01And I just went on the murder world to my job.
03:05And I'm just so sick of being stuck in my house, you know?
03:10Can't visit my grandma.
03:11So sick of it.
03:12And he's like, can we back up to the castration, man?
03:15I'm not wearing a mask anymore.
03:17I hate it.
03:18It just irritates my face when I wear it.
03:20It's itchy.
03:22Meanwhile, people are signing up to be castrated so these guys can eat it.
03:27We're just like, eh, whatever.
03:28Is that what they were doing?
03:30Yes, that is what they were doing.
03:31They were eating it.
03:31So they were chopping off balls and eating them.
03:34But like, it wasn't against anyone's will.
03:36It was.
03:37Yeah, the dude signed up for it.
03:38Yeah.
03:38They did it through, I believe, I mean, I'm going on memory here.
03:43Like Craigslist or something?
03:44No, I don't know if it was like through a gay website or something.
03:49Now I'm interested.
03:50Now I know we talked about it.
03:52But even we were probably like, oh yeah, guys got castrated.
03:56Well, but it's our show.
03:57We're a little desensitized.
03:59But like, I think that everybody was just like, those dudes were chopping off, General was
04:05eating them and what?
04:08Yeah.
04:08Oh my God.
04:09Everyone was too busy watching the Tiger King and stuff.
04:12That's it.
04:13That's it.
04:14You can only pay attention to so many things.
04:16We're trying to do that dance to the weekend song.
04:19What?
04:20So true.
04:20I don't have time to learn about ball eaters.
04:26This is a story that should have, we should still be like, why did that happen?
04:31Why did, what has gone wrong?
04:34Yeah, you're so right, Andy.
04:35I mean, we got caught up in other things.
04:37That's it.
04:37We had too much.
04:38Other things to worry about.
04:40Yeah.
04:40You can't worry about castration right now.
04:42I think the payoff for murder nerds staying there would have been a lot better if they
04:46hadn't ate those genitals.
04:48So do you think this is going to be something like a fine wine?
04:53It becomes more and more, like as it sort of spreads, people will look back and realize,
04:59oh wow, one of the greatest things happened during the pandemic with the castration cannibals.
05:04I think it's just going to be one of those things that's like lost.
05:07It's lost the time.
05:08I want to go back and hear the initial story here to see exactly what they know.
05:11Let's take a listen in.
05:12Tonight, we're learning more about two Oklahoma men accused of performing illegal surgeries
05:16on a male victim's genitalia.
05:19We first told you about this story this week.
05:21He doesn't even look like he cares.
05:22He doesn't.
05:22He's been stuck in his house.
05:26The two men are now accused of cannibalism.
05:295 News reporter Allie Lynch has the latest.
05:32According to court records, a 28-year-old victim told hospital staffers Bobby Allen and Thomas
05:38Gates had surgically removed his testicles as he lay on a wooden table in their remote
05:43southern LeFleur County cabin.
05:45Sheriff's deputies searched the residence where they found bloody medical tools, a variety
05:49of drugs, and computer flash drives.
05:52In LeFleur County, covering news where you live, Allie Lynch, 5 News.
05:57Even they were like, oh, don't even.
05:58In addition to the illegal surgery charges, the men also face felony counts of battery
06:02with a dangerous weapon, maiming, assault, as well as misdemeanor charges of failing to
06:07bury the removed body parts.
06:10And I feel like they're like, and now our top story.
06:12Will hand sanitizer?
06:14Really clean your hands?
06:15Yeah, exactly.
06:17Exactly.
06:18That was story number seven that night.
06:20Well, you're right.
06:22It did deserve maybe more attention than it got.
06:25It's a crazy, crazy story.
06:28Yeah, it's a weird one.
