00:23that would lead him to become a powerhouse pop soul act with top 10 singles like Ain't That Peculiar,
00:28How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You, I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Your Precious Love and Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing.
00:35Gaye's wish to take his artistry in a more provocatively conscious direction was heard with a rich iconic 1971 album, What's Going On?
00:43While at the same time, his devotion to romantic love and sexiness was evident with other 70s hits like Let's Get It On, I Want You, and In Our Lifetime.
00:53In 1983, Marvin Gaye accepted the Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male, at the 25th Annual Grammy Awards.
