00:00In the development of the system of education of a country,

00:02it is important to have a high quality of education.

00:05That's why a large number of research education institutes like the SEMEO Innotech are working on this.

00:13But how do they help countries to meet the quality of education?

00:18Let's take a look at this.

00:20Research or deep examination and study is important

00:24to ensure the development of the education system of a country.

00:29Research education institutes like the SEMEO Innotech

00:35or Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Educational Innovation and Technology are playing a big role.

00:43The SEMEO Innotech is one of the projects that was part of the administration of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

00:51Its purpose is to provide a high quality of education and training to teachers and leaders in Southeast Asia.

00:59It is also part of its duty to address and solve the common problems and needs of education in the region

01:07through innovative and technological methods.

01:12This research is translated into ways of responding to the problems.

01:17Then, we disseminate it and share it with ASEAN member countries.

01:23That's why the contribution of the SEMEO Innotech to education is huge.

01:28And now, after 55 years, they want to expand their studies.

01:35They also want to continue the development of policemen using Artificial Intelligence or AI.

01:42I'd like to highlight that next year, we will have the international conference

01:46that we would like to talk about the AI guidelines in education.

01:53And our research team is now developing the AI framework.

01:57The SEMEO Innotech also provides various programs and services

02:01such as capacity building, research and innovation, and knowledge management.

02:07We do a lot in terms of education, research, training, and development of different materials

02:18so that the learners could benefit, not only in the Philippines, learners in Southeast Asia

02:23could benefit from the different materials that we produce.

02:36This milestone is a powerful reminder of the transformative contributions

02:42SEMEO Innotech has made to education, innovation, and collaboration across Southeast Asia.
