00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is confident that the alliance between the Philippines and the United States will be stronger even if its leader changes.
00:09The President pointed that out in their conversation with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris via phone call.
00:17The President also pointed out the important progress made in its bilateral relations with the U.S.
00:22which are economy, diplomacy, defense, and security.
00:26This foundation is important, so the Chief Executive believes that it will be strengthened through the strengthening of the ties between the two countries
00:34which will result in the upholding of its principles, especially in the matter of international law.
00:41Harris also gave importance to the continued support of the U.S. in the Philippines, especially in the continued aggression of China in the West Philippine Sea.
00:50This also reminded him of his visit to the Philippines, where he strengthened the determination of the U.S. to support the country in the aspect of security and prosperity.
00:59He also pointed out that the U.S. Congress is supportive of a stronger relationship between the United States and the Philippines,
