00:08It is believed that the PITX, the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, is the one that provides security.

00:16It is followed by a large number of passengers returning home from different provinces

00:20and returning to Metro Manila after the holiday season.

00:24The PITX has a large number of items, which is why it took a long time to reach the entrance of the PITX.

00:33The security measures implemented at the entrance of the terminal are strict.

01:02More than 2.5 million passengers were brought by the PITX from December 20, 2024 to January 2, 2025.

01:16This is the highest number of passengers during Christmas and New Year.

01:25And of course, when it comes to the terminal,

01:33At the same time, more than 700 prohibited items were confiscated from passengers from December 20, 2024 to January 1, 2025.

01:44This includes lighter, knife, cutter blade, scissors, gas canister, gun, LPG tank, and armed five-fingers.

01:53The public continues to be warned to avoid bringing illegal items

01:58so as not to cause trouble and maintain order at the terminal.

02:04The PITX will immediately turn over the illegal items confiscated from passengers.

02:12According to the PITX, there are almost 74,000 passengers at the terminal.

02:19They are expected to increase the number of passengers in the next few hours.
