Martin Dempster reports from Dundonald at day two of the women’s Scottish Open.

00:00Hello, it's Martin Dempster, the Scotsman Golf Correspondent here, coming to you from

00:06a blowy Dundonald for the second round of the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open.

00:14Pride of Place on the opening two days has undoubtedly gone to the Australian Minjee

00:18Lee.

00:19She finished second in this event at Gulland in 2019 and has played in the event fairly

00:26regularly over the past decade.

00:29She's always been there or thereabouts and she's certainly teed up a great opportunity

00:34to finally get her hands on this title.

00:37She opened with a 67 on Thursday, finishing her round just before 9pm following a weather

00:45delay earlier in the day and she's backed that up with a 369 to sit on 800 par.

00:54She certainly looks as though she's going to take a bit of catching, if she can maintain

00:59that for him, but among the players set to chase her over the weekend is England's Charlie

01:07Hull.

01:08I'm not sure if she's a fan of links golf or not, she's sent out some mixed messages

01:13so far this week, but certainly when Charlie Hull is firing on all cylinders she's exciting

01:21to watch.

01:23She followed an opening 70 with a 4 under par 68 which was an excellent round in the

01:30challenging conditions today.
