00:23it's just unbelievable
00:25it isn't always a smooth ride
00:28what if i fall through phil
00:30when restoring historic castles
00:33i think we just realized there's no easy way to strip where it is
00:36into fairy tale homes
00:38this is like surgery isn't it
00:40and thriving businesses
00:42our first wedding is in a week's time
00:45and i'm going ah
00:48but those who have the ambition and drive
00:50to see the final results it's worth every every second
00:54often get to enjoy the rewards
00:56oh it looks amazing in here
00:58oh wow
00:59as they get to live out their dreams
01:02i could never have imagined chateau life would be this much fun
01:07as keepers
01:09well done
01:10of their very own french palace
01:16today one chateau owner is left to his own devices on a kitchen renovation
01:22it's always daunting you know am i qualified well i'm definitely not qualified to do this
01:26one couple i don't think we better do too much to this stage ben
01:31undertake a risky restoration one false move and it could all go
01:36and in the lot valley the stakes have never been higher it is a major portion of the house and a major disaster zone
01:46in the popular dordogne region of southwest france stands the historic 14th century chateau des vieilles vignes
02:03this sleeping beauty has 35 rooms crumbling outbuildings and a tower
02:14wellness company owners nick and nicole are determined to bring it back to life
02:20we're looking to create this beautiful haven for ourselves where we are picking out the beauty of
02:28the chateau itself we've got some just beautiful spaces that just give us that kind of grand feeling
02:35and but also a cozy feeling at the same time which i'm really looking forward to it's still going
02:39to feel like a home and i think that was very important to us we're raising a family here we want
02:44it to feel like ours and it really does it's coming along beautifully
02:52located 20 minutes south of bergerac the couple bought the chateau in 2021 for 195 000 pounds
03:04they currently live with their son noah in an apartment they renovated from ruin
03:09and recently began a massive renovation on the first floor once we come to the end of this project
03:19i will never want to do this again ever in my life to create their dream home
03:25worst case we strip it out and start again oh exactly but with four large rooms to complete
03:32these diy novices have had their work cut out it's always a bigger job than you think and you always
03:40always need more materials they're aiming to move in for noah's first birthday in just four weeks time
03:49plan for the day is to hopefully get the tiling done in the kitchen we're really keen to get the kitchen
03:55in we can't do that of course until the floor's down thankfully paul has made a great start so we've
04:01got our builder mate paul helping out i have never tiled a floor before
04:07it's not just about putting the shapes down it is a pattern the travertine is basically in four
04:14different sizes so i'm hoping that nick will be okay with it okay so we've got one big tile going
04:19under here then yeah yeah so a little one there big tile there yeah woohoo got this phew so basically
04:26like you would butter bread on the back side yeah don't worry about making a mess
04:32like that perfect first tile i mean i'm starting with a baby one so i think this is probably the
04:38most apt one to start with but uh yeah it's interested to see how this goes down the other
04:42thing that is important is normally when you're tiling you'd have a nice little rubber mallet yeah
04:46i was thinking but the trouble is you tap these with a rubber mallet they break and they will break
04:51really yeah just tap it tap it with your hands if you keep your fingers to the side where you haven't
04:58got tile here yeah that's it like so that's perfect just gently press it down that looks pretty level
05:07that's good yeah that looks good to me perfect you're looking to be very very gentle with it
05:16i mean i'm not going to get ahead of myself but you know this first few have gone okay a couple of
05:21adjustments and paul's help with those but yeah i feel i feel relatively confident
05:26after a few hours i'm gonna go and see what papa's done nicole's keen to inspect the new floor let's
05:40go see wow my god what do you think you've done so much we've made some really good progress this
05:51looks amazing this is giving me really really high hopes that we could actually potentially pull
05:57this off for his birthday yeah maybe just maybe yeah so i think that you've done enough for one
06:03day gents would you like some wine cheese sounds good to me yeah okay amazing
06:12it's a big step forward but with the kitchen arriving any day and decorating to do first this busy couple
06:20have a long week ahead
06:30rising over the lot valley in southwest france is the magnificent chateau de cadres
06:39boasting 17 bedrooms and four fairy tale turrets
06:45it's the home of paul a builder and designer debbie who bought it in 2021 what's lovely about the
06:57chateau is when you go out for a run or if you take the horses out you look back and you think oh wow
07:04we own that that's really beautiful and that you just cannot put a price on
07:15the chateau is located halfway between toulouse
07:19and bordeaux in the couple's expert hands it has undergone a breathtaking transformation
07:27they've recently launched it as a wedding and events business and need to finish renovating their four
07:35story tower stairwell before the season starts it is a major portion of the house
07:45and at the moment a major disaster zone with the help of a temporary platform paul has already
07:53insulated the roof i'll sleep all right knowing there's insulation up there we're not letting any
07:59more cold air in and plastered the ceiling being a chateau owner and being a perfectionist do not go hand
08:07in hand once designated for servants today the stairwell is going up in the world with its first
08:19chandelier it's going to come down hopefully to about here so it spreads its light all through
08:28the stairwell but the stairwell ceiling is 30 feet from the ground it's not without its risks because i
08:37don't like heights
08:46that'd be about it i think i don't need to go any lower righty tighty not lefty loosey
08:55that sounds like it might fall off oh right okay we're gonna lower it down into position
09:01that's it darling marvelous the light will come into its own once it's got all its crystals on it
09:12it looks a bit drab and it's creepy at the minute in traditional electricians mode i'm throwing all my
09:21spoils on the floor and i won't be clearing them up i'm going to tighten the shroud up and hopefully
09:28this part of the operation
09:34it's done so i'm just gonna turn it on then i'll start loading it up with its crystals
09:43oh that's nice isn't it i like that yeah it's good it's gonna look nice
09:50as debbie assembles the chandelier
09:52paul makes a start on a mammoth task
10:01we've got to give the new plaster we're going to do every chance of sticking to the existing wall
10:10so what we're doing is using a pva to help that process in terms of total on the walls i would say
10:19is about 100 square meters it's probably the biggest project in terms of just plastering
10:26that i've done in my life
10:32once you get started plastering doesn't take long
10:37as paul steams ahead debbie's stuck in a crystal maze i can't remember what it looked like and which
10:44crystals go where so i think it's a case of sucking it and seeing how you getting on darling slowly
10:52oh yeah it is isn't it it's quite tricky the chains are right yeah but
10:59crystals but i don't remember if it was big one little one big one little one
11:04by the end of the day debbie's managed to hang around a third of the crystals
11:14if i've done everything right so far and i would say i've got about another hour and a half on it
11:21if i've done it wrong then we can quadruple that we've got an awful lot to do here still but it's
11:29damn near now the tower stairwell may be starting to sparkle but with four stories still to decorate
11:38this couple will be kept busy for weeks to come
11:46coming up one couple battle to preserve a chateau tradition oh please don't fall apart please please
11:52and nick and nicole struggle to keep the plates spinning i don't really know what we were thinking
11:59when we're like oh yes we can renovate a chateau and have a baby at the same time
12:10just south of the celebrated royal valley
12:13it's chateau la grande maison it lives up to its name with 45 elegant rooms
12:25a spectacular ballroom and a stunning orangery today it's home to professional musicians ben and billy
12:37when we saw the chateau it was just love at first sight and the thing that really excited us was
12:43that it had a really soft beauty about it we found it quite soulful the second we looked at it that was it
12:55located 100 miles south of le mans ben and billy bought the 19th century chateau in 2011. since then
13:07they have worked non-stop to breathe new life into the old building recently they renovated their
13:15hallway oh my goodness i'll certainly feel a sense of achievement if i can pull this one off
13:22they take their responsibility for the 150 year old building very seriously when you look at the history
13:30of the the chateau there's various characters throughout its ownership the botanist who built this wing
13:35of the chateau and if you fast forward 200 years we want to be one of those people that you pick out
13:41of the story of the chateau keen to keep the chateau's traditions alive today ben and billy have an
13:48important job to do before it's too late when we bought the chateau in 2011 we inherited this fantastic
13:57vinegar barrel that's been making red white vinegar in our pantry for the last 50 years hello
14:01oh that that does smell good though ben unfortunately ben and billy have allowed
14:09the wooden barrel to dry out with dire consequences for a barrel to actually work it has to be wet at
14:16all times as soon as there's no liquid inside the wood starts drying the rings start moving and suddenly
14:22get tiny little cracks in the barrel and now the liquid can escape it's no longer a barrel it's a sieve
14:27are you ready ben yeah okay two three
14:34this isn't the first time they've attempted to rescue a wine barrel
14:45so they're hoping for better luck this time oh please don't fall apart please please please
14:52so when you hope to find treasure inside the chateau you buy this is the kind of thing yeah it really
14:57is your own vinegar barrel go slower i feel like one of the rings is slipping here it's not only the
15:05barrel they're trying to save but also the live vinegar culture inside so ben has come up with an
15:14ingenious solution once we've given a bit of a clean we're then going to cover it in towels and then
15:20completely soak the whole thing and at the end of the day tomorrow we're going to take them off give
15:24it one more good soaking and then hopefully the wood's expanded just enough to make it watertight
15:29wine tight wine tight you have to look oh yeah that's a really good example oh my god that hasn't
15:36moved that ring but it's loose that shouldn't be that should be so tight i don't think we better do
15:41too much to this stage ben one false move and it could all go yeah i'll turn the water on
15:47this is honestly the kind of mad thing that you find yourself doing when you've got a chateau
15:55it cannot be too wet they're hoping some damp towels will help the moisture soak into the wood
16:02so it expands seems it's getting the spa treatment do you think it needs a massage yeah yeah that might
16:07help come on barrel you'll feel much better soon enjoying your holiday
16:18so hoping this will just hold moisture next to the barrel for as long as possible
16:22the logic works doesn't it just if it works in practical oh this looks completely sensible yeah
16:28i always believe you when you say something's going to work i always think yeah that makes sense ben
16:32believes in it so it's going to work only one way to find out with the barrel left to soak job done ben
16:42and billy can only hope their emergency operation has come in the nick of time
16:48in the countryside near bergerac with their kitchen floor tiles laid nick and nicole are forging ahead
17:03with the rest of the renovation we have to continue painting today in what's going to be the kitchen
17:09so the painting of the walls and the ceiling we haven't got any child support today so it is going
17:14to be a matter of us juggling our time yeah and trying to get as much done as we can so yeah
17:19we'll just have to take turns and i'm trying to get out of painting the ceiling no no you're so good
17:24at that even noah agrees no yeah no it's really doesn't he does i keep forgetting bye-bye see you later
17:33bye bye-bye suit up
17:44tada i mean at least we get to look good when we're doing this yeah
17:54we mix it 50 50 with water for the first coat so that it really goes well into the plasterboard
18:03and soaps that in but i look like i know what i'm doing
18:10despite her reservations nicole decides to tackle the ceiling first god
18:20oh no it's way too wet oh god this is such a mess
18:24supposed to be wet though the first coat
18:31it's very wet i take my hat off to any painter who does this all day long because their necks must
18:37be so painful trust the process this is the biggest challenge of a life without a doubt
18:45i don't really know what we were thinking when we're like oh yes we can renovate a shuttle and
18:51have a baby at the same time i mean what's the big deal the couple have a tricky juggling act on their
19:00hands but they're determined to create the perfect family home this kitchen is going to be well it's
19:08going to be my dream kitchen pretty much we're going to try to make it as sociable a kitchen as
19:12possible because we love hosting people we love having people over for dinners that's the kind of
19:19feel we wanted to crave for it with a beautiful view of the gardens and the sun poking in because
19:24it's self-facing it's going to be great downstairs nick and noah have been taking in a very special delivery
19:33we've just had the remainder of our kitchen delivery in which we already were kind of
19:47overwhelmed by just how many things we've got to build but now there's even more uh with about
19:51four weeks to go it's uh it's looking like an uphill struggle upstairs nicole is battling on with
19:59the ceiling second coat i've always wanted tall ceilings i think they're incredibly beautiful now i wish
20:10they were a lot this tall
20:15and i think it looks pretty pristine so i am surprisingly happy i'm definitely starting to
20:22envisage what this is going to look like once the kitchen units start coming in it's starting to
20:27really look like the finished article which feels like a dream and that would never happen pretty
20:31much so that's nice okay
20:38before they can start assembling the mountain of cabinets
20:42they need to finish the painting and grout the floor so their kitchen is still a long way off
20:50in the lot valley the deadline is fast approaching for paul and debbie's enormous tower stairwell renovation
21:01project this all needs to be done within another three weeks in its entirety because we have an event
21:09coming up so it's quite imperative that this gets finished as soon as possible and i'm putting about two to
21:15three weeks three weeks going on it having finished most of the plastering today paul is creating a
21:22feature wall with a wallpaper chosen by debbie the problem with doing wallpaper in a chateau
21:31is that you can get some incredibly long drops i sometimes wish i'd bought a bungalow at the sea
21:36instead of a 900 square meter chateau right this is our roll of paper and we'll paste which is pink
21:47but it's nice because you can see where you've pasted
21:55first one's most difficult
21:56you can't hang about you've got to work quite rapid right there's our first length up our first drop
22:15well we've got an angle to cut up there and mark at the bottom and i can't do both so i shall call on
22:21debbie to come and help me this is wallpapering on a chateau scale each piece is five meters long
22:32and there are four flights to cover you're ever so close to the edge down yeah
22:45got it yeah
22:46there we're just cutting it lined it up and cut what we need
22:58be very excited when this bit's finished because it's um it's been a long time not finished and it's
23:06really lets the whole place down really
23:09lining it up keeps the continuity of the paper going so in effect it looks like one piece
23:16it's been a long time
23:18after an afternoon's work they finished one flight of the wallpaper
23:24happy days
23:27you were dreading the wallpaper weren't you you did it it wasn't doing it yeah because
23:32it was a nice wallpaper so it was very forgiving so that helped um and you've done a nice job
23:39thank you yeah i think the end's in sight now the tower stairwell renovation is on track but with their
23:47first event just weeks away they can't afford to rest on their laurels
23:57coming up nick's forced to trust his luck i'm kind of really just guessing at the moment and it could be
24:03either fantastically flukely right or it could also be terribly wrong and it's all hands on deck for
24:09paul and debbie's tower renovation this one's going to be a bit awkward or they're both going to be awkward
24:15near the dordogne village of saint julien des may nick and nicole have been working hard on their new kitchen
24:33having finished laying the floor tiles nick now faces a new diy challenge i'm not looking forward to
24:40this next task of grouting the floors because i've literally never done it before it's absolutely
24:46crucial to grout these tiles because it it kind of gives them the stability first of all it also helps
24:51to kind of seal between the joints so that water doesn't get in there after receiving specialist
24:57advice from his friend paul a builder nick begins work on the mix instruction from paul was literally
25:06stick it in add some water hope for the best
25:12ah safe to say i need a lot more product and less water
25:21come on
25:28now it's going to be too dry the irony
25:30oh meringue mixture almost
25:39i think i might be happy with that i guess one way to find out i'm just going to go for it what
25:44could go wrong i'm going to start in a very safe area which is where the units are going to go and
25:50hopefully as i progress and get a bit more confident then i can start moving out into the areas that we're
25:54actually going to see with the naked eye planning to to start badly and get better as i get on
26:01with around 40 square meters to grout
26:07he needs to learn fast
26:10i wonder if it doesn't need to be a bit wetter because at the moment it feels like it's wanting to
26:14just stick still no idea if i'm doing this correctly time will tell
26:20i'm kind of really just guessing at the moment and it could be either fantastically clukily right
26:28or it could also be terribly wrong it's always daunting you're always like oh god you know am i
26:32qualified well i'm definitely not qualified to do this when that actually doesn't look too bad i think it
26:38looks okay it's hard to say but maybe confident enough to just keep going a bit further while nick
26:45valiantly presses on nicole and gardener caleb are tackling a more green-fingered job outside what we're
26:54planting are cypress trees you find them all over the french countryside and i think they're absolutely
26:59lovely so we're planting five of them along the border so yes we i snuck out into the garden and
27:05start doing tiling left neck to do that i've never had a garden before other than the fact that i
27:11grew up with a garden but i've never owned my own garden so it's really exciting isn't it exciting yeah
27:19okay so i literally just lift it out it should come out don't it okay thank you
27:23you this is a very special moment there we go first tree planted
27:36it's looking very good i must say that my first tree planting has been an utter success
27:43yes it's transformed the entire garden so i'm looking forward to seeing them grow back inside
27:50nick's got further with the grout than expected that seems to be going in and staying in which is
27:58this is a positive thing the more i do it the happier i get but yeah it feels okay
28:04i still would probably like to spend maybe a few hours with someone who knows what they're doing just
28:10to kind of show me what i'm doing wrong but i do feel like i've made some progress but he's still
28:17got a long night of grouting ahead as the couple want to start fitting the kitchen tomorrow
28:32in the loire valley while ben and billy's barrel enjoys a long soak the couple head out to buy the
28:39other essential ingredient required to make vinegar today we're in the lovely village of luda
28:50outside our very very favorite wine shop but they've got a very special thing here which is
28:54these big tanks at the back of the store all the wine here is good wine but obviously we don't want
28:59to spend heaps of money to make vinegar so the bulk buying of wine is the way to go in this wine
29:14producing region wine is available or in bulk at a fraction of the cost so much wine so little time
29:24temple of wine temple of wine oh look at this and the prise c'est pour une litre oui
29:34one euro sixty five a litre and people ask why we live in france
29:38is that heavy yeah 10 kilograms back home
30:04it's time to see if the restoration of the vinegar barrel has worked all right bring that baby in yeah
30:14you're holding it like it's an infant ben has regularly been soaking the barrel
30:21they're hoping the oak has swollen enough to make it watertight once more
30:26so moment truth and then we'll uh we'll risk our incredibly expensive wine smell that there as well
30:35i think there's definitely still a bit of culture in there
30:39that is vinegary time to see if their creative thinking has paid off good luck barrel yeah good luck
30:48i'll stand by with the mop if their barrel leaks it will spell the end of a 50 year old chateau tradition
30:59wine's going in is wine going to come back out
31:04oh my goodness this i think it's worked ben the chateau's red wine vinegar barrel has survived
31:11excellent crack that fantastic so just got to wait eight weeks now for the wine to turn into vinegar
31:18and uh job done we can have lunch yeah
31:24but ben and billy don't need to wait for eight weeks as billy has some leftover from the previous batch
31:32charmante's local melon season gorgeous french ham fantastic and of course some homemade vinegar
31:40dressing okay that's fabulous it's going to be absolutely delicious
31:52glad you moved to france glad i moved to france definitely cheers cheers honey cheers it's gorgeous
31:59thanks to their hard work very good a 50 year old tradition is still alive and well
32:10so
32:14200 miles away at chateau de cadres paul has finished the wallpaper and is making a start on the stairwell
32:22floor
32:22just getting that so that the sides are even and then we'll do cut left and right we'll try and keep
32:32it square where we can certainly is a labor of love doing that whole stairs and landing
32:38it's a big job well yes well the tiles are certainly going to make it look a lot nicer
32:45they've chosen marble tiles to smarten up the stairwell landings there's always one tower
32:54it's absolutely so awkward to go
33:04come on
33:15it's worth spending some time cutting around doorways and architrave it just
33:23nine out of ten people who never see it but i do
33:31people often ask me what the bigger picture is with the chateau
33:34just enjoying refurbishing it really at the moment the main obstacles we have to work around is the
33:40size of it turrets round turrets to put bathrooms in it's just at first glance it's a no-no because
33:50every finished tile on the edge is a cut but you just have to work with it and and overcome it
33:57so uh this is quite quite easy really that's it and first five tiles in place
34:06the tiling's only just begun but paul decides to stop there and dismantle the platform he built at the top of the tower
34:16this one's going to be a bit awkward but they're both going to be awkward
34:23debbie and daughter harriet are here to help
34:26oh that's it it's out now yeah but they get caught on the joists yeah
34:33where are we going right i'm going to hand it through to you into the stores oh
34:38that's just lifting things like today that's generally the only involvement i have
34:46unlike the pack new at the chateau
34:52to get the platform down they needed to remove the chandelier
34:58i would be really pleased to see this temporary platform gone because um it'll open it all up
35:08there they are it frightens you then doesn't it
35:18all done
35:22for the first time since they started the project the full expanse of the stairwell has been revealed
35:30going really well isn't it at the moment i've started the tiling
35:34the platform's down can finish the plastering it's so fresh to see it all like
35:40on its way it's it was quite depressing really wasn't it and plus the fact we've had some lovely
35:46family time today haven't we yeah yeah that was nice to do something as a family
35:52some families go out for the day but we tend to find our entertainment in the chateau
35:58oh yeah the tower stairwell is finally starting to shine but with the rest of the tiling and more
36:07decorating still to do this project will keep the family entertained for a while yet
36:14still to come nicole's realizing the extent of installing a chateau size kitchen there are over
36:27300 packages here it's slightly difficult to find what we're looking for and paul uses tricks of the
36:34trade to perfect the tower floor just leave it to dry up for a couple of hours really good to walk on
36:49amongst the vineyards of the dog dying nick and nicole have a busy day ahead
36:55we've got uh grand plans for today to get on with the kitchen seeing the unis coming place that will
37:05feel really like we're closing in on the finish line isn't it yeah just to add to our time pressures
37:11i'm also going away uh for some work this afternoon so we're going to try and make what progress we can
37:17and with no child care today it's going to be diy for three come on this year come on you
37:26got a kitchen to build yeah yeah i'll grab his pram they've finished the kitchen floor but their
37:35deadline of noah's first birthday in just three weeks is still a tall order let's not get ahead of
37:42ourselves but you still have a whole kitchen to build with what is 350 items we built a kitchen this time
37:49last year and that was painful but we did get a lot quicker and a lot better at it towards the end
37:59i think we're going to just start on this side just for ease because this is a smaller side
38:03while nick starts on the wall brackets
38:09downstairs nicole and noah are playing hide and seek with the flat packed kitchen
38:16we're looking for something like this and this ends with a two eight oh five five two eight
38:24oh five five three three no that's not what we need
38:29we are trying to find the first the very first unit to go up on the wall
38:34but because there are over 300 packages here it's slightly difficult to find what we're looking for
38:45good to start putting some units together almost which is exciting
38:51i found it oh amazing i know but it was just under a massive stack of super heavy things
39:01but you managed to to get it so that's good
39:05okay so these need to go in yeah so they're there yeah you can you can have four they go on this side
39:16i'm going to hammer down this evenly
39:25and yes facing the white side perfect yeah that might still go in we're starting at the corner
39:36i'm not really sure that's all that's all first one yeah yeah
39:41i'm not happy about that he's not happy about that this is actually a positive step noah
39:56okay done
39:59yeah now they're completely flush that's great
40:03the trio can get a small glimpse of how their new kitchen will look high five family
40:08really please i mean to see you know obviously what we've done
40:21it's all flush it's all aligned it looks really good i mean it's starting to take shape
40:26it's only the beginning of a big job but it's given them a spring in their step
40:32we got really back into the groove of getting those units together quite yeah yeah yeah no that was very
40:36good which actually is a big confidence boost given how many we've got to make and stuff
40:40i'm actually feeling quite optimistic yeah i think look we've made some great progress
40:44two units in but rails you know partly up and yeah i think i'm feeling good yeah progress
40:50as nick heads off on a work trip the kitchen and dining room are still a long way off
40:58and noah's birthday is approaching fast
41:12at chateau de cadres ten weeks from when they started paul and debbie are putting the finishing
41:19touches to their four-story tower stairwell renovation lovely
41:30to finish off his expertly laid tiling paul has a final trick up his sleeve
41:38he kind of put this uh stone slurry ground over the top of the stones which has really
41:44given it a sense of newness so it really does look i want to tell you that secret was you not
41:54i would have had to kill you if i told you ah well so i've let the cat out of the bag now all my
42:01shade seat next just leave it to dry up for a couple of hours and then it'd be good to walk on
42:13this one i'm not sure if it's this step or no that's it yeah right to the back okay all right
42:20this is make do amends in a chateau because everything's awkward
42:26so i'm acting as part of the ladder and debbie will be doing the fitting of the curtain
42:35designer debbie is in her element
42:41so i've chosen these royal um curtains one because they still allow the light to come through the
42:47window and i think that the cushion is kind of quirky rather than having a tassel
42:55and it sort of gives it a soft feel about the place so i think it works
43:03ten weeks ago the chateau's tower stairwell was drab and gloomy with a dated tongue and
43:11groove ceiling and mismatched paintwork
43:14now the former servant stairwell has been transformed paul has re-plastered the old ceiling and over 100
43:29square meters of wall and laid a new marble tile floor
43:34while debbie's creative vision for a bright color scheme and elegant feature wall has brought a sense
43:43of light and softness to the space and with the original wrought iron balustrades cleaned up
43:51plus the addition of an opulent chandelier bringing a touch of glamour
43:56the transformation is complete it was worth the effort because now it's nice and neat and clean and
44:05stylish to walk through to get to wherever you need to get to
44:14when i look around the chateau i imagine when it was built was superb because someone hadn't come
44:20along and messed it up so i tried to be sympathetic to mr lm who built it and i'm sure he looks down on me
44:30with a smile debbie and paul have another huge job under their belts but with guests to host and a
44:38chateau to run there's no shortage of work ahead of them
44:49next time there's family friction he's doubting my plan i just i think that's my i think we need to
44:55readjust a daring decor decision i really hope i don't regret doing this because there's only so
45:01much paint that i have i'm gonna go for it there's no turning back and for nick and nicole
45:07a kitchen crisis what doesn't drive you insane makes you stronger but right now i
45:14feel like i'm in a losing battle here
45:37so
45:41you
45:42you
45:44you
