00:0068 people reportedly killed after a U.S. air strike hit an African migrant center in the north of Yemen.
00:06Disturbing images coming your way.
00:08Because the facility was mostly used by refugees from the continent,
00:12we understand about 115 migrants were there at the time,
00:15and a Houthi spokesperson slammed the, quote, brutal attack,
00:18accusing the international community of turning a blind eye to America's crimes.
00:23The international silence regarding America's crimes encourages it to continue its bloodshed
00:29by targeting residential areas, misleading the world that they are military targets.
00:34Washington's resort to such claims does not make them a reality.
00:38Rather, the real reality is that Washington deliberately and premeditatedly
00:43harbors criminal and terrorist intentions.
00:46Well, a separate U.S. attack on the capital, Sana'a,
00:48left at least eight people dead with a huge fire erupting afterwards.
00:52The Pentagon has acknowledged it's carried out over 800 strikes
00:56in just a month-long campaign against the Houthis,
00:59also saying there's no plans to stop.
01:02We spoke with a local independent researcher
01:04who has not convinced the attacked site had any connection with the Houthis.
01:09There is no any type or any chance that is linked to any military installation
01:17that the center or the migrant center is located in some part of the Saada prison.
01:26So the United said for them to target that, I cannot imagine what kind of excuse they will bring.
01:33The U.S. Central Command, it actually issued a statement before news of the strike broke.
01:38And it said, well, because of operational security,
01:40we're not going to be disclosing many details about the operations.
01:43And, of course, that really begs the question, did they do that on purpose
01:47because they knew that announcing that they're about to attack a migrant camp is not a good look?
01:54I think they did that on purpose because this camp has been, as I said, visited by the Red Cross many times.
02:00It's under supervision as well as the United Nations Immigration Agency here in Yemen.
02:06So it's clearly marked to the United States that this is actually a refugee camp.
02:11It's a center that hosts African migrants.
02:14And for the United States to do so, I believe it's kind of a message to the international community
02:20that they will do whatever they want because, I mean, no one can help them responsible.
02:25We've seen what's happening in Gaza, the killing of 50,000 civilians, mostly women and children.
02:30And the United States is doing now is at the beginning and doing, I believe, exactly in Yemen.
