01:26things off with the news that we have elections in Canada today. Elections in Canada. The latest polls show
01:39So Mark Carney of the Liberal Party ahead of the Conservatives. Alexander the Great. Alexander the Great Hotel.
02:04So Carney is leading the polls. He had a much bigger lead. A couple of weeks ago, the Liberal Party had a
02:12much bigger lead a couple of weeks ago. The lead has shrunk quite a bit. But if you believe the polls,
02:22they are showing that the Liberal Party will win these elections in Canada. This is the party of
02:30Trudeau. Trudeau. Trudeau, you idiot. That's right. Trudeau's party.
02:38Chrystia Freeland's party. But Mark Carney would be the man who would become Prime Minister. Remain as Prime Minister.
02:51So, elections in Canada. Let's see the results as the day goes along. And elections in Australia as well. I believe on
03:07May the 3rd, we have elections in Australia. And right after the elections in Australia, we have the do-over
03:17elections in Romania. I believe those elections, the first round of the Romania do-over elections
03:27are set for May the 8th, I want to say. And the second round is May the 18th. I could be
03:34could be wrong on the date, but sometime around there we have the do-over elections in Romania.
03:41And we still have the outstanding issue, the court cases for Georgescu. And he just might
03:53get back in the race. Maybe. It's going to be hard, but he just might make it back in the race.
03:57The latest polls show Simone, who is aligned with Georgescu as leading in Romania.
04:09Anyway, lots of elections taking place. Lots of escalation taking place between India and Pakistan.
04:19Modi is signaling some sort of a response to the terrorist attack in Kashmir. The Pakistani defense
04:31minister said that all of Pakistan's nuclear weapons are aimed at India. Very dangerous situation
04:42between between the two nuclear powers. India was testing their missiles the other day. And in Pakistan,
04:50there are reports saying that they're moving their fighter jets out of the range of the missiles from
04:58India. So things are very, very dangerous and very tense between these two nuclear powers. So that's
05:12that's India and Pakistan. And should we talk about Lavrov? Lavrov spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Rubio.
05:22And they had a telephone conversation. Not much of a statement from the Russian foreign ministry
05:29as to what was discussed. They mentioned Project Ukraine as being on the agenda. And basically
05:40the statement said that things are moving along. There continue to be discussions on Project Ukraine
05:50and dialogue on Project Ukraine. But that was pretty much it as far as the statement from the Russian
05:58foreign ministry. We'll see if we get a longer statement from the Russian foreign ministry later today,
06:04or if the U.S. State Department issues a transcript, a readout of the telephone conversation between Rubio and
06:13Lavrov.
06:14So the Face the Nation interview with Lavrov, that actually aired yesterday on Sunday. I talked about
06:25this interview on Thursday. So it was filmed, it was recorded ahead of time. And Face the Nation released
06:32some parts of the interview with Lavrov. But the full 40-45 minute interview that aired on Sunday on Face the Nation.
06:44very important that the Russian foreign ministry was on
06:54on U.S. mainstream media. That says a lot, that the mainstream media decided to get the Russian
07:06perspective on things, something they have not done. In three plus years, there has been
07:13a type of media embargo on top Russian officials. During the Biden presidency,
07:24you could say that Tucker Carlson broke that embargo when he went to Moscow to interview Putin. But
07:31now you have Lavrov on, on Face the Nation, which I believe is CBS. So, uh,
07:40significant, uh, interview definitely signals something having the Russian foreign minister
07:49on CBS, Face the Nation with, uh, what's her name? Brennan, I believe Margaret Brennan is the host.
07:54And the Lavrov did not disappoint. I was a master class in, uh, in diplomacy from the Russian foreign minister.
08:07And, uh, and Brennan,
08:11she, uh, she wanted to, to find out what concessions. She asked a bunch of questions.
08:16Of course, very, very aggressive towards, uh, towards Russia, uh, antagonistic towards, uh,
08:25Russia and towards the Russian foreign minister. And, uh, the main thing that she wanted to find out
08:31from Lavrov was, uh, what concessions is Russia making in all of these negotiations?
08:38And Lavrov, the man, the man completely ran, ran rings around, uh, Brennan. But, uh, eventually he said,
08:49look, you keep on, on wanting, uh, a short and brief answer with concessions. He said, I'm happy to, to give
08:57you, uh, a detailed explanation as to what's going on with, uh, with the concessions, how we see things
09:04with the conflict in Ukraine, but you don't want that. You want a short, concise response. So Lavrov
09:10said, I'll give it to you. And, uh, when he talked about concessions, he said, concessions, here are two
09:16concessions, the, uh, the ceasefire on, uh, energy infrastructure, which Russia, uh, complied with 100%
09:26and Ukraine consistently broke and the black sea ceasefire, which Russia was more than willing to,
09:31to, to comply with. But Ukraine and specifically the EU would not allow that to happen. So he said,
09:39those are two, two big concessions right there. Of course you have, uh, Trump's response when he was
09:49asked about concessions in the white house, uh, a couple of days ago by a reporter who asked Trump,
09:56what concessions are, uh, are the Russians making in all of these negotiations? And Trump's reply was,
10:03was 100% spot on when he told the journalist, well, how about Russia stops the, the war that it's
10:13winning? How about that for a concession? A journalist was speechless. That's a pretty big concession.
10:21Stopping the war that, that you are, uh, winning. Yeah, that's a big concession.
10:27Anyway, uh, Lavrov was asked about,
10:29uh, about the ZMPP. Oh boy, it's windy. And, um, his response was, was very simple. He said, look,
10:55the ZMPP is, uh, is Russian. The Russians are, uh, are in control of the ZMPP. We're managing the
11:03ZMPP and we will tell the United States not to worry. Don't worry about the ZMPP said we'll call
11:11the United States and explain to them. Hey, look, everything is under control with the ZMPP. The
11:17IAEA is also there and there's no need to talk about the ZMPP when it comes to,
11:23to these negotiations because we have everything under control as, uh, Russia. That was a very smart
11:32response from Lavrov. So Russia's not going to, to give an inch when it comes to,
11:40to the Trump peace plan, which calls for the ZMPP to be transferred to Ukraine, but to be managed by
11:45the United States, Lavrov's answer was, was crystal clear. The ZMPP stays put. It's Russian. It will,
11:54it will remain Russian and, uh, we're managing it just fine. He was, uh, he was asked about sanctions
12:04relief and his thoughts on sanctions relief. Lavrov said, we haven't received any proposal from the United
12:11States on sanctions relief. So we can't really discuss it. Lavrov did say that we're not going
12:15to discuss the negotiations in public. He said, he said, that's unprofessional.
12:21He mentioned that Alensky, Ukraine, they love to talk about these things in public and to the media,
12:25but Lavrov said we're professionals and we don't discuss ongoing negotiations in, uh, in public.
12:31But he said, look, as far as sanctions go, we haven't received, uh, a detailed proposal from the United
12:37States. So what are we going to, to discuss as far as that's concerned? He said that, uh, that for a
12:46ceasefire to happen, then, uh, weapons need to stop to Ukraine from everybody, U S Europe, collective
12:57West, all the weapons need to end. If there's going to be any type of ceasefire, because the Russians are
13:03not going to allow some sort of a ceasefire to happen while Ukraine continues to get weapons.
13:08That's not going to happen, allowing Ukraine to rearm from the collective West. And then Lavrov,
13:17he asked Brennan to face the nation host about Crimea. He said, how come you're not asking me about,
13:22uh, about, uh, Crimea and the fact that Trump is now saying that Crimea is Russian and that the U S will
13:32recognize Crimea de jure. And, uh, and that's where the conversation went. This was towards the end of,
13:40of the interview. And so, so she, she asked, love it off, man, love it off. He played her well.
13:48And so she had to ask, she said, okay, well, uh, what about, uh, Crimea in these negotiations?
13:56And Lavrov said Crimea, well, the deal is done. He said, Russia does not negotiate territory. That's
14:04not what we do. So, uh, forget about it. Crimea is Russia. That deal is done and settled. And that
14:12was the face, the nation interview with Lavrov. Check it out. It's about 40 minutes. It's on YouTube
14:20and, uh, it's on X as well. And it's definitely, uh, worth watching because you really do, uh,
14:29do get to see the goat, the goat of diplomacy in action.
14:34So Trump was on, uh, on air force one leaving the, uh, the Pope's funeral.
14:47And he was asked, what was he asked about? Uh, yes, the historic meeting, the historic,
14:56the historic 15 minute meeting between Trump and Olenski 15 minutes, but it was historic.
15:04It was a meeting that changed the world.
15:08According to Pierce Morgan. Wow. What a photo said Pierce Morgan, Putin, Putin is a dictator Putin.
15:18Anyway, he was asked about the historic, the historic 15 minute meeting with the green goblin.
15:25And, and, uh, Trump said that the green goblin was a lot more, uh, calm than when he was
15:33at the white house. And he also said that he believes that speaking for 15 minutes with Olenski,
15:41he believes that Olenski wants a deal. That's what Trump said. He wants a deal. And he also said that
15:47he believes Olenski will allow the United States to recognize Crimea. He didn't phrase it like that.
15:55But he said he'll be okay with Crimea, but that's basically what's what they're asking of Olenski
16:00to allow the United States to recognize Crimea. De jure of which Russia couldn't care about whether
16:07Olenski allows the United States to recognize Crimea. But this is the, the misdirection red herring of
16:15this whole Crimea issue, which Lavrov completely, uh, quashed in his face, the nation's, uh, interview.
16:26So, uh, that was, that was what Trump said about the green goblin. Oh, he also said that, uh, get this.
16:34He said that Olenski asked him for, and this is going to be a big shocker, everybody.
16:38Are you guys ready? It's a big shocker. He said, as they were discussing in, uh, in Italy,
16:45Olenski asked for more weapons. That's right. As they were sitting down and talking for 15 minutes,
16:55Olenski used that time to ask for more weapons.
17:00Probably more money as well, I would guess. But yeah, amazing, huh? The, uh, the funeral of the Pope.
17:14They have this 15 minute meeting set up by Macron. Macron not allowed to, uh, to sit down with them,
17:21even though he wanted to. They, uh, they get Trump to sit down for 15 minutes with Olenski
17:29after the Pope's funeral and Olenski asks for more weapons so that he can continue the war.
17:36That is what he wanted from the United States.
17:41And that's what Trump said. That is what Trump said on air force one. He told me that he needs
17:47more weapons, but he has been saying that for three years. Trump stated, the U S president noted
17:52that Kiev was in a very tough situation fighting a much bigger force and emphasized that it helped
17:58them when we gave them $350 billion worth of weapons or cash.
18:06The Kiev independent has an article with the title. Trump says he believes
18:09Olenski is ready to give up Crimea to Russia.
18:14Olenski is going to give up Crimea to Russia, according to the Kiev independent.
18:19It's all about Crimea. All of a sudden that's, that's been the narrative. That's been the framing
18:26of the negotiations negotiations. It all hinges on Crimea. Yeah. All right. So when Trump, I believe
18:35he gave an interview to the media when he landed, I believe this, this is when he landed in the United
18:40States, I'm not quite sure, but, um, Trump was asked by a reporter. This is not on air force one.
18:47He's landed somewhere and he's asked by a reporter, uh, what he wants from Putin. What do you want
18:54from Putin is what they asked Trump. And Trump said, I want him to stop shooting, to sit down and sign
18:59a deal. We have all the terms of the deal. I'd like to sign it, be done with it and just get back to life.
19:06You see, it's so simple. Just sign it, Russia. Just sign a deal. That's, that's nowhere near your June
19:142024 root causes terms, but just sign it so we can be done with it. And I can get back to my life.
19:23So nice. So nice of, of, of, of Trump, uh, just sign it. It's not like, you know, this is,
19:29this is an existential threat for you, Russia. Just sign it and let's be done with it.
19:34Anyway, that's what Trump said. The minerals deal. Should we do an update on the minerals deal?
19:47So my precious, my precious Schmeagel did make it to the United States and he did meet with, uh, with
19:56the minerals. And we are getting news that, uh, the United States is making a concession on the minerals
20:05deal. The U S wanted 300 billion in back pay. Then it got lower to 100 billion.
20:13And according to, uh, Ukraine and to Schmeagel, it's now going to go to zero. According to Schmeagel,
20:25there will be no, uh, back pay to the United States in this new minerals deal.
20:31I want to show you the statue, but everyone, everyone gravitates to that statue, but I'll get
20:40there after these guys leave. So yeah, there's going to be no back pay zero ahead of technical
20:50talks with the U S deputy economy minister and trade representative Taras Kachka said the deal
20:56will not entail converting previously provided USAID into debt. Mike Waltz also went on Fox news and he
21:04said the minerals deal is going to get done. He said it is going to get done. And, uh, and that'll be
21:12that. So there will be no, no back pay to the United States, but everything that is generated in revenue
21:19from Ukraine's resources, oil, gas, rare earth, the ports and all of that stuff, all the revenue
21:28will be put into a fund that the U S effectively controls. And, uh, the U S is going to take profits
21:35from the fund and also give some money to Ukraine. At least that's the plan.
21:42So it is a win for Ukraine. I guess you could say it is a win. Absolutely.
21:45The U S wanted 300 billion and they got it down to zip to zero and, uh, and Pistorius,
21:57the German defense minister under Schultz. And he'll probably be the, the German defense minister under
22:06black rock Mertz. He has, uh, he has problems with the current plans or at least the Trump plan. He has
22:19problem with the Trump peace plan, the peace plan, the peace plan from Trump. Yeah. Pistorius is basically saying
22:27do not agree. The little fishermen, 2016,
22:45little fishermen,
22:46what was I saying? Pistorius. That's right. He says that Trump's proposals for territorial
23:13concessions from Ukraine to Russia are going too far and has assured Ukraine of more weapons from
23:21Germany. Ah, the, the Boris Johnson model don't agree to, to any peace plan. Don't agree to Trump's
23:30peace plan because the concessions are going too far. And we promise you, if you keep fighting,
23:38we'll give you weapons and money. We promise Alinsky coming from the German defense minister,
23:44Pistorius exactly what Boris Johnson did in March of 2022. Do not sign the agreement from Russia.
23:55I am here in Kiev, Boris Johnson with the authority to tell you, to promise you that we will
24:03fund your war against Russia. Do not sign the agreement, which was a very good agreement
24:12from Russia to Ukraine. I bet you Ukraine would,
24:18would love to get that agreement back on the table.
24:24Anyway, let's talk about, let's change the subject and now talk about
24:27the port explosion in Iran, the Bandar Abbas port, huge, massive explosion in, uh, in Iran.
24:43I believe the port is in Southern Iran.
24:47CBS news is saying massive explosion at Iranian ports, kills 40, injures about a thousand more
24:57kills 40 and injured a thousand. The Iran customs authority, they said the explosion most likely
25:04originated from a depot of dangerous goods and chemicals located in the port area.
25:08Now there are a lot of, uh, a lot of reports which claim that there were chemicals
25:19in this port that were used for, uh, for weapons, for, for rocket fuel and stuff like that. And that's what
25:27was, was hit or some sort of sabotage. We don't know. We don't know. We haven't had
25:35an official, uh, government statement that we did have this statement from the, from the port,
25:42uh, authority in Iran. There has not been an official, an official government statement.
25:47They said that they're investigating what happened. This could have been an accident.
25:51That is very possible. Let's not discount that, uh, the fact that this could have been
25:56some sort of mishandling of, uh, of whatever was at the port or stored in the port that, that caught fire
26:05and led to a huge explosion. That is possible. But this also could have been some sort of a sabotage
26:11as well. And, uh, the Iranian government, if this was a sabotage and I say, if, because I don't know,
26:18obviously I don't know, but if this was a sabotage, do not expect Iran to say anything because this
26:25explosion happened at the same time that you have the third meeting of, uh, of talks between the U S and
26:35Iran. We're now at the third meeting. Things are, are going well. And you have this explosion at the, uh,
26:45at the port and it was massive. Some people are saying it was actually three explosions.
26:50That's what I've read from some journalists. It wasn't one explosion. It was three explosions.
26:55So this could have been an accident. It could have been sabotage. If it was sabotage,
27:02Iran is not going to, to admit as much. There's negotiations that are taking place. And of course,
27:07Iran would never, would never say that that some sort of, uh, of forces managed to infiltrate Iran
27:19and, uh, and blow up whatever was, was stored at this port.
27:26I've read other, um, analysts who say that, that there's no way there were weapons or any types of
27:32chemicals for weapons at this ports. Iran would never have them at this, at this port. They would
27:37have them at a different location separate from this port. From what I understand, this is a,
27:42a commercial, uh, port oil. This is a, uh, a port that's, uh, that's focused on the export of oil,
27:50a major, the major source of revenue for Iran and specifically oil that goes to China. How about that?
27:58So I did a video with Alexander on this subject, which will go up on the Duran either today or
28:03tomorrow. We recorded the video though this afternoon and, uh, Alexander brought up a great
28:08point. He said that, you know, this may have not been about going after Iranian weapons. If this was
28:14a sabotage, I always have to say that if this was a sabotage, it may not have been about going after
28:19weapons, but maybe it was meant to damage Iran's economy by going after the oil. So that's also
28:28possible. Interesting, uh, interesting story, tragedy, a huge tragedy in, uh, in Iran.
28:38So before we get to our clown world, let's, uh, well, let's see Mr. Parakeet guy.

29:31So Peter Hitchens of the Daily Mail, he put out an article with the title,
29:36you've been fed propaganda nonsense about Ukraine and the invented Russian menace.
29:40These are the lies you've been told. What an article from Hitchens, huh?
29:46What an article. He basically goes through all of the propaganda around Project Ukraine,
29:54not from the beginning of the SMO, but, uh, all the way back to, to the Maidan coup and
30:01actually all the way back to, uh, Georgia as well. And he basically, well,
30:06he actually does say that, you know, it was, uh, it was Georgia that started the war
30:11against Russia. That's fact. And then he just goes through all of the,
30:15the events that led us to the special military operation. And, uh, and he makes the case
30:21correctly makes the case that, uh, that this, this conflict, this aggression against, uh, Russia,
30:29and it is aggression against Russia is coming from, uh, from the West.
30:34There has been aggression against Russia over many, many decades, which comes from the West. And, uh,
30:40you've been lied to, you've been propagandized to blame Russia and to hate Russia.
30:45Uh, and, uh, that's the case that Hitchens makes in this article, an incredible article from the Daily
30:55Mail. Something's happening in the UK. I don't know. Something is happening in the UK. It's very subtle,
31:02but it's definitely happening. I talked about this the, the other day in my video, when I was talking
31:09about the, the war gaming that, uh, took place and it showed that the Russian military would demolish
31:15the, uh, the British, uh, military. And you have, you have articles like that coming out on the
31:22mirror. And then you have this, this article from Hitchens and I don't know, maybe, maybe there are
31:29forces at work that are trying to, to prevent Stammer from ramping things up with Russia, which would put
31:40the UK in, in a very terrible position. So it does seem that there are forces at work against Stammer's
31:51continued escalation, his coalition of the unwilling. Hey, Mr. Cat. Oh man, this cat's ears look pretty beat
32:03up, huh? Oh, he's caught something. He has some food. I think he has some calamari, some squid. Yeah.

33:38calling on Ursula to quit. Basically the article, and this is coming from, I believe from Switzerland,
33:47is where this is originating from. And basically they are saying that, uh, that Ursula is,
33:53is so obsessed with project Ukraine that, uh, she's messing everything up. The economies in, uh,
34:02in Europe, in the EU member states, they're all messed up. Uh, stuff with China, trade with China,
34:09messed up. Of course, with the United States, absolutely messed up. And with Russia, things are
34:16messed up. She's basically, she's done nothing good. That's, that's their, uh, argument. And they're
34:22right. And they're right. So they're asking her to resign, of which I am confident Ursula will say,
34:27no way, no way am I stepping down. She thinks she's doing a good job. She thinks she's doing
34:34a great job. I'm the leader of the free world. I'm the leader of the free world. Tatars, Tatars,
34:40I tell you, Tatars. All right. How much time do we have? Can I explain this castle? Yes. We're

35:10This is, uh, let me see. Let me remember the history of this castle.
35:20A Byzantine fortress. This was a Byzantine fortress.
35:24And, uh, and in 1222, an earthquake, uh, decimated the, the fortress.
35:38The, the Venetians, right? The Venetians, which, uh, which ruled over Cyprus.
35:47See, we have a connection to the Venetians and Cyprus, a very strong connection.
35:51And they rebuilt a couple of the towers or this, this, this castle here. And I believe they had
35:59another, uh, second castle and that got destroyed by the invading, uh, Ottomans who eventually captured,

36:17They rebuilt the castle. And then when, and it, and they used it as a prison. So this was used as a prison.
36:24And then, and then when Cyprus, Cyprus moved to the hands of the British Empire,
