00:00Hello there, good evening. Hope you've had a wonderful weekend. It has remained rather
00:05cloudy across northern regions, but those in the south have increasingly seen the blue
00:09skies prevailing, and it seems like this in Norfolk that even more of us are going to
00:13be experiencing on a frequent basis as we head over the next few days. For now, though,
00:19we do still have that cloud and areas of rain further north, so it is going to be a fairly
00:23wet and damp evening to come for parts of Scotland, continuing overnight with quite
00:28a breezy picture overall here. Drier further towards the south, and underneath some of
00:32the clearest of skies, there will be some patchy mist and fog developing. We might see a patchy
00:37grass frost in some rural locations where temperatures drop down to mid or low single figures. Underneath
00:43the cloud, further towards the north, temperatures across Northern Ireland and Scotland quite widely
00:48holding up in double-digit figures, so a milder start to the new working week. It's going
00:52to be slow progress through Monday as we watch this band of rain shift its way northwards,
00:58certainly for the Highlands, parts of the Outer Hebrides, and eventually towards Orkney as well.
01:02There will be some outbreaks of rain at times. As it moves northwards, though, it is taking some of
01:06that cloud with it, so the skies will be brightening for central southern areas of Scotland into Northern
01:11Ireland and the far north of England as well. The Book of England and Wales certainly seeing quite a fine
01:16day with plentiful amounts of sunshine in there. Temperatures responding to that sunshine quite widely,
01:22seeing 20 degrees Celsius, if not 24, 25 across some southeastern parts, very much feeling very warm.
01:30These fine conditions are all courtesy of an area of high pressure that is building its way in
01:35across pretty much all areas of the UK. It's going to help to shift that weather front even further
01:40northwards, though it will still be lingering for the Northern Isles as we head into Tuesday,
01:44so a cloudier theme here with still some patchy light rain and drizzle. But for most of us,
01:49Tuesday really is looking like quite a wonderful day. Plentiful amounts of sunshine, a little breezy
01:54across the far southwest of England, but certainly light winds inland will again help it make it feel
02:00quite warm. Temperatures climbing even higher than on Monday, more widely seeing mid-20 figures in places
02:07we could squeeze 26 across the far southeast on Tuesday. Certainly these values are well up on the
02:13average of what we'd normally expect for the end of April, usually around 12 degrees in the north.
02:1912 and 16 degrees in the south, so it's going to be feeling like an early dose of summer for many
02:23of us. With these high temperatures though, it does mean the plants are going to be in bloom,
02:29and with that we are going to see some high, if not very high levels of pollen around. It is tree pollen
02:35out at the moment, particularly oak trees, so if you are susceptible to that, do be aware when you're
02:40out and about over the next few days. The fine weather is looking to continue throughout pretty much most of
02:46this week, and temperatures will be climbing even further throughout Wednesday and Thursday,
02:51thanks to that ongoing sunshine and day-on-day heating will allow some of us to climb towards
02:56the high 20s as we do head later on in the week. We'll have plenty more updates though, of course,
03:02of what you can expect as we head over the next few days, so just subscribe to the YouTube channel
03:07for all of those, and we'll see you again very soon. Bye-bye.
