Liverpool are on the verge of being crowned Premier League champions for a record-equalling 20th time.
While the title race may have lacked late-season drama, it shouldn’t detract from the scale of Liverpool’s success. Slot arrived with no Premier League experience, and yet in his first season he’s guided Liverpool through the most gruelling league in Europe – tactically and physically – and emerged on top.

00:00Liverpool are on the verge of being crowned Premier League champions for a record equalling
00:0620th time. Arnish Slott's side moved to within touching distance thanks to a 1-0 win over Leicester
00:13with Trent Alexander-Arnold's goal relegating the Foxes and giving the Reds a commanding lead.
00:20A draw between Arsenal and Crystal Palace midweek all but sealed the deal,
00:25leaving Liverpool with an unassailable cushion at the summit.
00:28Even if Arsenal will, all their remaining matches, their inferior goal difference,
00:33mean Liverpool only need to avoid defeat against Tottenham this weekend to be officially confirmed as champions.
00:41And what an achievement it is. While the title race may have lacked late-season drama,
00:46it shouldn't detract from the scale of Liverpool's success. Slott arrived with no Premier League
00:51experience and yet in his first season he's guided Liverpool through the most gruelling league in
00:57Europe tactically and physically and emerged on top.
01:01He is within the upper echelons of head coaches, managers in Europe because I think a lot of people
01:09agree he is up there now but can he take himself to the next level? Can he really prove I am as good
01:15as what is else there?
01:16In an era where managerial tenures are short and expectations sky-high,
01:22Slott's adaptability to unify the dressing room and continue the club's high-intensity
01:28playing style deserves enormous credit.
01:31With Manchester City faltering and Arsenal unable to maintain consistency,
01:36Liverpool seized their moment. But this wasn't a title won by default, it was built on relentless
01:42consistency, tactical clarity and a squad tuned to peak under pressure.
01:48It may not have had the final day fireworks of years gone by but this title deserves more fanfare
01:53in a league where only seven clubs have won it 33 seasons. Lifting it is no small feat.
02:00So yes, give Liverpool their flowers but make sure there's a bouquet, especially for Arne Schlott.
02:08He's turned potential into silverware and in doing so joined elite company.
