00:00Tampa Bay's morning crew want to honor and thank those who protect and serve our country.

00:05Time now for Military Monday on 99.5 QYK.

00:10All right, today it is Military Monday and we get to honor a military member in our community.

00:14We have Kelly on the phone with us. Good morning, Kelly. How are you doing?

00:18I'm doing pretty good. How are you?

00:19We are doing great. So we get to honor your awesome husband, Aaron.

00:23Tell us how Aaron serves our country.

00:25Well, he served in the Marine Corps.

00:28He did two tours to Iraq.

00:31And is he still in the Marine Corps?

00:33No, not yet. Not now. He's not. He actually got out of it.

00:37Okay. And how many years did he serve?

00:38He did four and then he did another active duty year.

00:41Oh, wow. Nice.

00:43Kelly, we know it can be very tough, obviously, physically to serve in our military, but also mentally.

00:49What are some things about your husband or a way you would describe him?

00:52Do you think helped him through those tough times?

00:54Well, I know he is very strong and he's a very outgoing person, so he can make friends very easily.

01:03But his family helped him out a lot.

01:06Gotcha. Well, now that he's out of the Marine Corps, what does he do?

01:09Right now, he is basically a manager of a lawn care service right now.

01:14Nice.

01:15Well, very cool.

01:16Well, tell me some things that you guys like to do when he is not working these long 10-hour days.

01:22We just like to spend time with the kids, you know, going to the park or taking them to family members' homes or go doing things with them.

01:31Love that.

01:32Well, we're going to see if we can help out with that a little bit.
