00:00I don't want to intimidate you.
00:01I had a pretty big workout today.
00:03I appreciate you taking it easy on me, sir.
00:05I appreciate that.
00:06It's so cool you brought me a present.
00:08I mean, I didn't even expect that.
00:09I didn't give you anything.
00:10I mean, I'm going to need it back, but I mean, if you'd like to.
00:13Oh, this is, yeah.
00:14By the way, you see the custom side plates for the Michigan Panthers?
00:18I saw that.
00:18Yes, yeah.
00:19I like the E part of it, too.
00:20Right, right.
00:21Naturally.
00:23Good to see you, man.
00:24Thanks for coming in.
00:25Yeah, it's good to be here.
00:26Yeah, so last week was the first week you did this Panthers thing down
00:29in Detroit.
00:30What did you think?
00:30It was incredible, man.
00:31Honestly, my appreciation for the city has grown so much.
00:35The people here have been incredible, truly.
00:37But it was amazing, man.
00:38It really is.
00:39Like, I love how much, you know, I'm a kid's entertainer for the most part.
00:42And I love, I saw so many kids at Ford Field, so many families.
00:46And with tickets only starting at $10, it truly is a great family
00:50entertainment value.
00:52Yeah.
00:52Yeah, no doubt about it.
00:53You keep lowering your chair, which is great.
00:55I'm just sinking.
00:56I don't know how to control it.
00:57But I find myself slowly lowering.
01:00Most of the time, people I talk to are taller than me, which is great.
01:02So now you're coming down to my level.
01:04You did this on purpose, didn't you?
01:05I appreciate that.
01:06You got a little switch, don't you?
01:07I don't know what's going on with that, to be quite honest with you.
01:09But I do like that.
01:11Yeah, I was checking out your Instagram.
01:12It's kind of funny because have you been in Detroit now for like a year?
01:15It seems like every picture is like something about Detroit.
01:17We've been busy, man.
01:18We've been busy.
01:19We really have.
01:20And we're working with Lambert in town.
01:21They've done, honestly, an incredible.
01:23I know I keep going.
01:24I'll tell you what.
01:24We'll do this.
01:25Go ahead.
01:25Stand up.
01:25All right, we'll stand, we'll stand.
01:26But honestly, they've done a great job of just putting me in great positions
01:30from a marketing and PR standpoint.
01:32We've been around the city a ton throughout the first pitch of the Tigers game.
01:36But I really take it to Detroit.
01:38And the great thing, too, is it's four consecutive home games.
01:41And this is the second week, so I'll be back next week and the following week.
01:43Oh, so you're kind of going in and out.
01:45Yeah, yeah.
01:45I mean, I got to go home just to get some new clothes, and I come right back.
01:48So tell me about throwing out the opening pitch.
01:50How was that?
01:50Have you ever done anything like that before?
01:52So I've done it one time.
01:53So I went to school at Iowa, played football at Iowa, and I went back.
01:58There was a Cedar Rapids-Colonels game.
01:59Not quite the Detroit Tigers.
02:01Not quite that level.
02:02So it was my first time at an MLB game, throwing out the first pitch.
02:06And it was fun.
02:07I don't know if you've ever seen 50 Cent throw out the first pitch.
02:11Oh, yeah.
02:11He was like way off.
02:13Abysmal.
02:13So I was just trying to avoid that, and that was the goal.
02:16And it wasn't quite a strike, but I didn't embarrass myself.
02:19So, yeah, I was okay with the outing.
02:21I think, didn't Fauci have a terrible one?
02:23There was a few brutal ones.
02:25There's been a few, yes.
02:25Yeah, 50 Cent.
02:26That's right.
02:26I remember that now.
02:27That was beyond brutal.
02:28It was like off to the side.
02:30He could have injured someone.
02:31It was bad.
02:32It was real bad.
02:32I guess as long as you get it close, that's all you're really worried about.
02:35Exactly.
02:36So American or Lafayette?
02:38What do you think?
02:39So it's funny you say that.
02:41I actually just put out a post on Instagram.
02:43We went to American Coney Island, and I could never turn my back on Grace.
02:47I met Grace, and she was incredible.
02:48She was warm.
02:50So we're an American Coney house, and that's who we support.
02:56I'm sure Lafayette's incredible, but contractually, I can't say anything other than American Coney.
03:02Okay, American.
03:03There you go.
03:03You got the winner right there.
03:05So what else have you been digging around the area?
03:08Now, growing up, were you a fan of any of the music that came out of Detroit?
03:11Because there's a lot of it.
03:12I mean, not rock bands.
03:14You got rap and hip-hop bands.
03:16All sorts of stuff.
03:17Yeah.
03:18So growing up, Motown's huge, obviously.
03:20So actually, in my house as a kid, my dad's a preacher, and was very religious, so we were
03:25only allowed to listen to gospel.
03:26So it was a little bit later in life that I got into Motown, that I got into.
03:30So that's the really cool thing for me.
03:32And we've talked about doing a trip to the Motown Museum.
03:34Oh, yeah.
03:35And I'm excited to really do that, because I've never been.
03:38I've actually been to, about a decade ago, I went to the Henry Ford Museum, and that was
03:41cool, but definitely got to go to Motown.
03:43Yeah.
03:44And then I see that you were on, I was just watching something the other day, Family Feud,
03:47and I think you guys are doing, have you been on the, what's the one where they're there?
03:51Wheel of Fortune?
03:51Yeah.
03:52Have you been on that one?
03:52So we did Wheel of Fortune, and the cool thing was, so we did a WWE week.
03:56So it was all of us, the first four days was just to decide, so the top three winners
04:02from the first four days went to the final day on Friday, and thankfully I was partnered
04:07with an incredible guy named Ben, and we ended up winning our day, we went on to the last
04:11day, we didn't win that day, but I grew up watching this show.
04:15Every single day at dinner, it was Pat and Vanna, then we'd watch Jeopardy, like my entire
04:20childhood, so it was just, it was so cool to be able to do Wheel of Fortune, to be able
04:25to like hug, you know, Vanna, to say what's up to Pat, that was a really, really special
04:30day.
04:30Yeah, I was going to say, how was Vanna in person?
04:31She's incredible, yes, just graceful.
04:34Did she walk up to you and go like this?
04:36Yes, sure, yes, that's what she does.
04:39No, but of course, legends, right?
04:41And that's funny, because when I was watching, you know, and I didn't really watch like intently,
04:45but it looked like the people that you guys were teamed up with were like Wheel of Fortune
04:48like experts, you know, and you guys were just like, yeah, just spin the wheel.
04:51Honestly, so I got the app, and I was on the Wheel of Fortune app, and I was thinking,
04:54you know what, I'm going to really study and make sure I get my puzzle solving abilities
04:58sharp.
04:59But then I realized when we got there, you're right, it was really the people we were partnered
05:03with, our partners, were really the ones playing the game, and we were just there cheerleading.
05:08Yeah, and you're on the spot.
05:09Yeah, and I saw one puzzle for us, I was like, I got to bend some money.
05:13But that was the cool thing, too, is it's winning money for someone, so you feel extra pressure
05:16to do well.
05:17But I had a blast.
05:18Yeah, that's great.
05:19Well, let's talk about wrestling real fast.
05:20First of all, do you have a timeline as to when you'll be coming back or not?
05:23I don't, unfortunately.
05:24So I've been out for almost 14 months now.
05:27But the problem is it's just I broke my C1 in two places, and obviously your C1 is a
05:31very important bone.
05:33And it just takes a while to heal.
05:34So I feel great.
05:35I have no nerve issues, no pain issues.
05:37I feel 100%.
05:38It's just there's no real timeline right now.
05:40Gotcha.
05:41I just watched WrestleMania.
05:43And, you know, as far as sports entertainment goes, and as far as TV shows go, that show,
05:49I don't know if there's anything more spectacular looking than what Vince in the WWE is putting
05:54on right now.
05:54Exactly.
05:55It really is.
05:56It's a spectacle, is the best way to put it.
05:58And so I was there in LA.
06:00I actually ended up leaving on Sunday.
06:02But I was there for the first day.
06:04And to be there, it was really my first WrestleMania where I really had, I was working in some
06:08capacities, but I had no wrestling.
06:11So I was able to kind of watch as a fan.
06:13And really, when you look out and you see 70,000 plus people, you see how packed it is,
06:19you really are reminded, man, this is a spectacle.
06:22I've never been to anything like that in sports and entertainment.
06:24I'm sure there are some concerts that rival it.
06:27But it really is.
06:28It's special.
06:28And the great thing, too, is our business is doing so well right now.
06:32It's sellout after sellout.
06:33And that's why I encourage people, if you want to come to SummerSlam, which is going to
06:36be incredible, it'll be here August 5th.
06:38Get your tickets as soon as possible, because they're flying off the shelves these days.
06:42Yeah, SummerSlam, like you said, coming up in August right here in Detroit.
06:46I'm, no, this is Meltdown.
06:47This is Biggie.
06:48No, wait.
06:49Whatever, dude.
06:51I'm Meltdown with Biggie.
06:52Thank you so much for coming.
06:53And good luck with all the Panthers stuff.
06:55And you got the four games in a row.
06:56You said tomorrow night, as we record this, is a nighttime game, which is really cool.
06:59That's right.
07:00We'll be there Saturday night in the D at 730.
07:03First time ever that the Panthers will play the Memphis Showboats.
07:07Oh, okay.
07:08All right.
07:08There you go.
07:09Some history in the making tomorrow.
07:10Biggie, thank you so much.
07:11Yes, sir.
07:12Boom.
07:12Boom.
07:13Boom.
07:14Boom.
07:15Boom.
07:15Boom.
07:16Boom.
