00:25wins as he is having an excellent start to his season i think the pitch clock is helping garrett

00:32cole i think he's just getting the ball and throwing getting the ball and throwing and i think

00:36he has a tendency to overthink things oh that's interesting and so i think this is really playing

00:41into the strength i think the pitch clock will also lead to more complete games that's possible yes

00:47because that's also something we don't see very often yes because also they're saying that the

00:51pitch clock has done what they've designed which is more much more contact less strikeouts guys are

00:58still striking outs because they're you know the pitchers are great but more contact means faster

01:02baseball you know quicker outs so uh i think the uh the i mean all these new rules are fantastic these

01:08games are all clocking in two and a half hours we saw a game the other day at two hours baseball you

01:15know people always have been complaining for decades now how slow and boring baseball there was a game

01:21one of them two hours how long before the owners start saying you know we're going to start charging

01:26more for hot dogs and beer because we're not making enough money we addressed that last no way really

01:31last week they are going to push back beer sales now because the beer sales were usually uh ending

01:39around the seventh inning right and now stadiums are going to eighth and some stadiums are going to go

01:45to ninth inning to to to the whole game because they're not making enough yeah and i would prefer that

01:50over charging uh people for uh more beer right but there was a phillies pitcher who came out and

01:58said uh is that a smart move if people are driving home and they're drinking in the ninth that's why

02:03we stopped in the seventh to give people a time to um sober up carl but then a lot of people pointed

02:09out hey if i'm going to you know sports i take my mass transit and stuff and what about me if i'm

02:15responsible i don't you know it's uh it's an interesting point the mets beat the a's in extra

02:50game to nothing they look great in game one tomorrow the knicks resume their series against

02:56the calves the knicks got a huge game one victory on saturday oh how sweet was that oh that was a

03:01great game they beat the cavaliers 101 to 97 on the road um just an amazing performance from jalen

03:08brunson who is i again i keep saying it all year long best point guard in the eastern conference i do

03:13not back down from that so the knicks now lead one game to nothing and uh tomorrow night game two if

03:19they can get up two games to none and then head back to madison square garden how cool is that man

03:25that's great and then finally hockey the nhl playoffs are here we got the devils facing the rangers at the

03:32prudential center for game one tomorrow that's gonna be great okay tuesday night that will start

03:38that series devils rangers fans so a lot of hockey fans in this area will be at each other's throats
