00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rockin' Rough, and I am Terry Carr. I am reunited with my extremely amazing good friend, Sunny Knoll, who started Rockin' Rough with me 12 years ago.
00:12Yeah.
00:1212 years ago, so it's great to have you back on. This guy is awesome. He's got a lot of energy. He's super excited. He's very friendly. He's a young guy. He's about a year old, and his name is Cash.
00:24Now, Son, tell me a little bit about Cash. We think he would make just a great partner for anybody who's an active person, but as Sunny said, he likes to settle down nicely, too, right?
00:34Yeah. He loves to go for his walks. He loves to play. He's a bit of a goofball, but once he tires out, he just likes to lay around. He's amazing in the car. He just lays in the back seat and kind of takes in all the smells, but he's friendly, as you can see.
00:51He loves everybody. He's good with other dogs, so if you want a young active boy who likes to play, Cash could be your man.
01:03Yeah, nice wonking partner, running partner. This is a good time of year to do it as the weather gets a little bit cooler.
01:09He's been at the shelter for quite some time. We can't figure out why because he kind of checks all of the boxes on a great young dog.
01:15Let's check out Cash hanging out at the Rock of New Jersey on DHA's Rockin' Rough.
01:19Meet Cash from the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter.
01:23Cash is a beautiful young shepherd mix, just about a year old.
01:27He's super fun, athletic, affectionate, goofy, and he loves to play ball.
01:31Cash was surrendered to a high-volume shelter over the summer, and luckily the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter was able to take him in.
01:37He's super friendly with everyone, knows some basic commands, bonds very quickly to the people he knows, walks well on a leash, and is a perfect passenger in the car.
01:46He's quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite at the shelter.
01:48Fun fact about Cash, he is awesome at playing catch.
01:52He can catch a ball or cookies like a pro.
01:55Adopt Cash.
01:56And I love his great ball catch trick.

02:05He loves to give kisses.
02:07Yeah, he'll catch your heart.
02:08I mean, this is just a great dog.
02:10He's looking for a home to call his own.

02:13As you can see, he likes to play.
02:15He's very sidetracked by Sonny has cookies in her cookie pouch.
02:20So cookies can sometimes be good, and then sometimes cookies can be a little distracting.
02:24The good thing is, obviously, son, he's very food motivated.
02:27Yes, he's very food motivated.
02:29Probably could teach him some tricks.
02:31And super smart.
02:32And he always has the wild tail too.
02:34Love this dog.
02:35He's just a great, happy guy.
02:37When you're around a dog like this, there's no way not to smile.
02:40Shepard-y, labby, maybe the cur, a little cur around the mouth.
02:45He's just a really super sweet guy.
