00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough, and I am Terri Carr here with my good friend Sonny Noel from the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter.
00:09And Sheba, we just literally said, you don't even really know that there's a dog around, and I mean that in the best possible way.
00:16Because she's such an easygoing, sweet, lovely girl, loved the car ride too, you said, Son.
00:23So tell me a little bit about Sheba. She's so awesome. Look at her.
00:26Yeah, she is a very low-maintenance, low-key, calm, quiet girl.
00:32She is a senior girl. She's probably around 11 years old.
00:36And because of that, we are open to finding her a permanent foster home or an adopter.
00:42But if somebody was willing to open their home to her, the shelter would cover any costs for her medical care, which she is a healthy dog.
00:54We've had her, you know, checked over thoroughly, blood work and everything, so we know that she's healthy now.
01:01But she is a volunteer favorite. Everyone loves to walk her.
01:05She's a Terri favorite too. I love this dog.
01:07Yeah, she's just a great, easy, easy, sweet girl.
01:11So if you can open your heart to a senior girl, Sheba would be fantastic.
01:16And I always say, seniors are so great. Not only are they incredibly grateful, you definitely know everything you're going to get with a senior dog.
01:23And they move a little bit slower. You don't have all that crazy, wild, wacky puppy energy.
01:28There's no potty training. You don't have to go to basic training or puppy kindergarten or anything.
01:35She's just a good girl looking for a second chance at an awesome home.
01:39Let's check out Sheba hanging out at WDHA on DHA's Rock and Rough.
01:44She's so pretty too.
01:45Meet Sheba, a senior bully from the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter who is a perfect girl.
01:51I loved meeting Sheba. She is quiet. She is super sweet.
01:54She's content resting her head on your leg or giving you a gentle kiss to cheer up your day.
02:00Sheba loves car rides and is really a perfect pup just looking for a soft bed to lay on in her senior years.
02:06Sheba is very healthy and has been vetted by the shelter, but due to her age, which is estimated to be around 10 years old,
02:13the shelter is offering a permanent foster, which ensures any medical needs are met by the shelter if they occur.
02:19To meet Sheba, you would never know she's a senior. She's just a calm, awesome dog.
02:24I love this girl and we're hoping that WDHA's Rock and Rough is her lucky charm to find a home.
02:30Adopt Sheba.
02:30How cute is Sheba? We just love her and she's such a lovely dog.
02:36And she's so pretty and sweet.
02:38And what did I just say? I said, we got to get her on a couch and out of a cage because a senior dog definitely deserves to be a cherished family member.
02:46And she's so lovely. As Sonny mentioned, you can do like a, you know, long-term foster.
02:54Let people know how they can meet her, how they can interact with her and how they can contact you guys at the shelter.
03:00You can visit us at the shelter at 97 Ironia Road in Mendham Township during the hours that we're there, which can be found on our website, which is randolphregionalanimalshelter.org.
03:12You can call us to set up an appointment to meet her, 973-543-9333.
03:19We make special appointments all the time outside of the hours that we're there.
03:23We just want to see her get into a home and on a couch or in a car, go for a ride.
03:29So, yeah, please reach out and we can set up a meet and greet for you.
03:33Awesome. Love, sweet Sheba. She's such a nice dog.
03:38DHA's Rock and Rough, by the way, is powered by all of my great friends at Hometown Pet Shop with three awesome New Jersey locations.
03:45And Dover Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram on Route 46 in Rock, Rock, Rockaway.
03:49For DHA's Rock and Rough, as always, we remind you to opt to adopt because there are so many great dogs in our local shelter groups.
03:57And senior dogs are awesome.
03:59To me, they rock the best, so deserving of forever homes.
04:05And just look at sweet Sheba.
04:07She's so nice. Such a nice dog.
